The king was massive but seeminly a gentle giant type Josie obserbed. Josie and the gang still bowed anyways as a sign of respect, even Olivia and Yunan did the same.
Marcy said "Hey hey Josie and the gang, This is King Andrias, His Majesty Himself and the best dad ever! He's so sweet and gentle, no need for bowing!" she giggled.
"Ho ho, so these are the heroes of Salamander Square, the legendary Josephine and her crew, greetings I am indeed King Andrias and Its so nice to have finally met you! No need for formalities, I'm not THAT scary am I?" The king started laughing so hard on his belly.
Katrina whispered "He...wasn't what I expected..." Sweet but goofy wasn't what she expected to call her ruler. She rationalised in her head that she'd probably would grow to like him anyways.
Jessica whispered "He seems like a nice guy, what about you Josie-Posie?" Jessica thought he was alright so he could be cool.
Josie said "He seems chill! Why can't more leaders be like him?" Her childlike sense of joy entertained by his clownish attitude.
Evelyn whispered "He seems so coooool! Maybe someday I could be Princess Evelyn to the rescue!" She did kawaii and brave poses on Josie's shoulders but Katrina just rolled her eyes even though she was amused at her antics.
Amanda whispered "Maybe someday Evie sweetheart, I'm sure he's a good king, he just wants to welcome us guests I suppose" She always liked to see the good in others even if she had a skeptical streak sometimes.
Spike barked happily as Andrias threw him a ant pancake as a treat and his tiny hedgie tail waggled merrily. Anybody who gave him a good treat was good in his books. He is a sweet and merry hedgehog that smiled when Andrias petted his head with the smallest finger of his and very gentley.
Marcy said "Oh father, It's so amazing I finally got to introduce you to Josie and the gang, they're so talented, funny, kindhearted, witty, the whole package! Eeeeee! I'm so excited!"
King Andrias smiled warmly at Marcy and replied with a warm smile on his face "I can tell Marcy, I can tell. They certainly are talented, oh the legends and rumours I had you and my subjects tell me about their neverending victories against many a foe! And they're right here in this palace at my feet! No kidding its very very cool to meet them!" He waved to them.
Josie said "Wow...we're famous heroes in NEWTOPIA of all places? Noooo way!" while Josie was humble she enjoyed the praise and ate it all up anyway. She was amazed at her reputation.
King Andrias continued with "Yeeeeees way Kiddo! Your just as famous as my kiddo Marcy! Everybody wants to meet and know you, especially after capturing a nasty treasonous traitor, that dastardly Luna and the wicked Mikayla, two true villains alongside her evil minions who all have been terrorising Amphibia for years and thanks to you and Marcy you both saved the day! You should be very proud of yourselves! Josephine you are soooo humble for such a mighty hero!"
Marcy said "Thanks for the praise Andrias, but Momma Yunan also helped us as well as Joe Sparrow my adorable steed! What would I do without them?" Yunan saluted him and Olivia bowed to him.
Josie said "You're too kind with all this praise!" she saluted him as Jessica gave her a thumbs up.
Andrias smiled "No need for excessive modesty! I would like you Marcy to show Josephine around the city and say hi to all her adoring fans, her and her posse if you will! Once you're done getting to know the city, I would like to assign you two to duel missions together!"
Marcy gasped "We get to go on missions, TOGETHER! Oh Andrias THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! SO MUCH THANK YOU! I've always wanted a true friend to go on missions with, the crew I went with didn't like me anymore after we stopped a creepy cult together for some reason..." She sighed sadly thinking about that time and her kitty ears flattened.
Andrias reassurred her with "Oh please that wasn't your fault! They were simply a touch envious of your heroic talents, you're so clever and came up with only the most GENIUS scheme to take down those wretched cult creeps! Just do what I do and roll with the punches, if your so called friends don't like you anymore, they were never really your friends now were they eh?"
Marcy sighed with "Makes sense I guess! Oh well I have Josie now so that old drama don't matter anymo!" she bounced up and down merrily.
Andrias praised with "Thats the spirit! Go get em kiddo! Show em what Team Marcyphine can do! Jarcy?I dunno!"
Marcy said "Eh...I prefer Marcyphine! and Aye aye captain! Lets get a going!"
Andrias stopped her with "But what wait theres mooore! Allow me to hand over you Newtopia's rarest luxury, the royal credit card free of interest! You can buy anything you desire!"
Josie's and Jessica's eyes sparkled looking at the bright gold credit card, so rare and so royal!
Josie said with sparkles in her bright amber heterochromic eyes "I WANT IT PLEASE!"
Jessica said "WE'RE SO SHARING THIS TOGETHER!"
Marcy said "Soooooo cool! I have so many cool ideas on how to spend this bad boy! EEEEEEE! This is amazing!"
Evelyn squelled with pure delight and wonder and said "IMMA BUY LOADS OF CANDY AND CUTE CLOTHES AND DRESSES AND-"
Katrina interrupted with "We get the point sweetheart, but SO MANY NEW EXCLUSIVE TO THE CITY SPELLS WILL NOW BE MINE! AHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA! What, was it something I said?" as everyone looked at her with a bit of concern, her not so above maniacal behaviour.
Amanda said "I'll buy more stuff for my girls and Spike and more hunting stuff, potions and aw forget it Imma buy the whole city!"
Spike jumped up and down in pure joy and wiggled his butt which made everyone say "AWWWWWWWWW sooooo CUUUUUTE!" with sparkles and glitter in their happy eyes!
Evelyn said "ANDRIAS YOU ARE THE COOLEST KING EVER!" she bounced all over the place until Katrina caught her and scolded her with her frowny face and her finger.
Andrias grinned "Why thank you there you euthasthic little so and so!"
Evelyn replied with "You're welcome and stuff!"
Marcy said "Wait a min! Also are Yunan and Olivia coming too?"
Andrias said "I assigned them other activities, sorry my bad, but they'll be back whenever you need them the most, TRUST ME!" Olivia and Yunan waved them goodbye with "GOODBYE MY MAR-SHMELLOW SWEETHEART!"
Marcy waved back with "BYE MOMMAS WE'LL STAY SAFE!"
Marcy smiled to Andrias with "Okay thanks 'Drias! See ya soon ya big goofball!"
Andrias said "Anytime Me Kiddo!" and waved them goodbye with a huge grin on his face.
Marcy, Josie and the gang scampered off merrily with pure joy and wonder in their hearts, Josie asked "We're gonna meet all our fans?"
Marcy said "Yaya Jojo, and trust me we have so many! It is a bit nervewracking talking to THAT many people at first and not easy but it gets a bit less difficult with...practise with masking the right facial expressions and practising things and praises to say! To say I'm a person and not a walking calculator-book thing!"
Jessica said "Yeah social stuff can be soooo hard sometimes, I get nervous and shy around new people too" she said while fiddling with her fingers!
Marcy said "NO KIDDING! Socializing is haaaard! Back at home Josie, Anne and Sasha would cover that weakness of mine but by myself I had to ask Olivia for help with social graces and all that stuff!"
Jessica said "Yeah...Aunt Olivia always had a way with words didn't she? Makes s-sense!"
Evelyn asked "Who is Sasha and Anne though? Josie never mentioned anybody with those names"
Marcy looked confused "She didn't?...Um okay then..." but tried to dodge any awkward topics with "Anne and Sasha were the coolest! They were my BFFS since I could walk or breathe! They were the bestest my amazingest friends you could ever wish for! Just as good as Josie!"
Jessica chuckled "How you feel about this Anne and Sasha duo, well thats how I feel about my Josie-Posie!"
Marcy said "We would call her Josie-Posie all the time as her group nickname back at home! Anne was Anna-Banana, I was Marbles, Sasha was Sashy or Sashimi and Josie was always Josie-Posie or Jojo Loco!"
Jessica said "Woooow! Sounds like you two were besties! Josie is my BFF forever!..hmmm..."
Marcy said "YEAH! She was my bestie and meeting her back here is even better, still I'm just kinda bummed out that we didn't find Anne or Sasha though...hmmmm...maybe their on the other side of the continent since we're here, like 4 divided by 2 or something...Oh well to take my mind of my grief, lets just chill as friends!"
Jessica said "That sounds like fun! Lets do that!"
Evelyn said "Wait a min! Is this friend of yours Anne THE LEGEND behind the most amazingist moving pictures on the Fone known as Annie-Mays! and AY Em Vees!? So cool! I wanna be in an Annine-May one day as the most famous magical froggy popstar in the world!"
Marcy giggled with "Annie-Mays? Silly You mean Anime?! YOU Like Anime too! No way me too! Was Anne in an Anime? I could make that happen just give me an animation program and it could happen!"
Evelyn chuckled, thinking Annie-Maye-Shion was the blue haired legend's full name and went on with her life.
Katrina said "Yo Marcy girl, whats up?" trying to socialise with the new girl in the group as everyone waved hi to the adoring fans with hearts and stars in their eyes as they ood and ahhed and waved, some even asking them to sign shirts for their efts or declaring them the best girls in the world. They wore cat ears and tails to celebrate Marcy and Josie's fluffy ears that led to victory and hedgehog ears too for Spike. An extra newt tail or frog legs to celebrate the amphibians might be a bit redudant but they didnt care. Evelyn was taking selfies with fans and adoring the statue of Josie, Marcy and the gang doing kawaii poses while defeating a scary evil beast which was declared a national treasure more important than any in the last 1000 years of Newtopian history!
It was a good day to be a pink froggy.
Josie awkwardly smiled and signed pawtographs with her kitty claws and purred for the fans that said "Awwwwww" and said an even bigger "AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW" at Spike nuzzling her so cute and happily.
Marcy asked Katrina "While Amanda helps us with the interview crud, can you show off your magical skills, your magic looks amazing, so talented and so advanced! You must have studied for years! And your style of magic is so dinstict from the other types out there that exist, theres soooo many"
Katrina said "T-t-thanks!" stuttering that somebody else showed interest in her special interest from childhood! "Anything for a new friend and a magic lover and research fangirl like me!"
As Amanda helped her and Marcy with the interview social crud and Katrina and Jessica did spells to dazzle and wow their audience with Jessica and Josie linking spare unused arms together, they saw a shopping centre and waved them goodbye to go there.
"Wowie this place is amazing and it never stops being amazing, so much to do so much to see! I love you Newtopia and I love it in Amphibia!" Marcy squeed!
Josie said "ME too! I wanna stay here forever!"
Marcy squeed "REALLY you wanna stay in Amphibia FOREVER?"
Josie said "Well...as long as possible...if my...yeah?"
Marcy said "Amphibia is the most amazing place ever! Much better than Earth!"
Josie awkwardly chuckled and agreed with "Yeah, much better than La...yeah" Josie realised at the last moment how weird what she said was. SHE LOVED Amphibia, sure but what about her family she adored back at home, they must miss her like crazy! What about them? But if she went back home, she would have to say goodbye to her new beloved friends and her pet! How could she choose between two worlds? Better to change the subject, she supposed.
Josie changed the subject with "OH HEY were at the largest most grandest shopping centre in amphibia!" which was literally the title of the shopping centre itself.
Marcy squeed "OMG! Lets go to the mall! Everyone lets go to the mall!" she was so happy!
Katrina said "Okay but PLEASE no more shapeshifting to get there we can't catch up!" remembering all the times she had to teleport her and her family to catch up with them!
Marcy said "Maybe you could use magic to shapeshift too! So we're like more even!" a clever solution to her problem!
Katrina said "Eh why not? We're on vacation why not!" and Katrina used her magic to transform her and the girls into beasts and Marcy and Josie shapeshifted to run around the place and Spike was just his usual adorable little critter self who as always tagged along while barking happily. What a sweetie!
They ran around the place causing mischief and chaos inbetween bumper car rides, rollercoasters and nail paintings and candy splurges, terrorising the royal guards poor them! Joe Sparrow wasn't intended for joy rides for fun but why the heck not today? the birdie also ate several flying beasts trying to eat them too! "Good boy!" Marcy purred and Joe Sparrow smiled sheepishly at the praise his owner gave him!
They had boba tea drinking contests then running to the bathroom to pee then singing kareoke with Evelyn instisting this is practise for her future popstar career and pillow fights in the lobby and confusing everyone with the chaos of how those beasts they be out shopping! Evelyn chattered with her vocals "NYANANANNAA you cant catch me!" Josephine nuzzled a tummyache Jessica in beast form after she ate too much candy after Evelyn dared her to do it and it made her feel better! It was glorious watching the mess unfold!
Best part was when they unshifted, they could pay off all the costs with the royal credit card! it was a perfect day! Poor Bella the bellhop, another cousin of Jessica, had to clean up the mess but they payed off her college expensives in return so it was all good. "Your the best cousin ever for that thank you so much" Bella thanked Jessica and she said back "No probs cuz! See ya laters!" and they went their seperate ways but satisfied and happy.
In other words the day was just so much fun! Could every day be this fun forever? In Amphibia forever? Only time could tell...
Exhausted they teleported and went back to their bedrooms in the castle, too exhausted to do anything else but this day was amazing, so magical, so cool! It was too satisfying to complain about being too exhausted to do anything at nightime hours, so they went to their seperate rooms, took care of their hygiene needs, put on their critter and hedgie pyjamas and headed straight to bed. Night night everybody! This was just the first day so much much more could be done later on so it was no big deal!
Meanwhile with Anne, Her, King Sprig, Hop Pop (the only one with power over their King Sprig), Polly, Pamela, Sandra, Ivy and Maddie, they were planning a HUGE road trip, a family and friends road trip of not just sightseeing or having fun, but REVENGE!
Hop Pop said "Alright kids today we're going on a family revenge road trip for once there will be no rules other than dont die and DESTROY YOUR ENEMIES kids!"
Anne hissed while clenching her teeth and her tail swishing furiously"YESSSSSSSS! finally! I'm not playing around anymore! I WANT Revenge on what those evil frogs did to Pamela and Sandra! How dare they do that to my new besties!" She yowled in pure anger!
"What the heck was wrong with those jerks anyway, who tried to eat Sandra or keep Pamela as a pet or slave!? NOT COOL DUDE JUST NOT COOL! I as His Majesty will hunt these fiends down and destroy them!" King Sprig declared!
Hop Pop said "I as your grandfather say that the King can destroy them!"
King Sprig groaned with "But I'm the King why do I take orders from you?"
Hop Pop said "The King always listens to his dad/granddad in your case! Don't complain its just the rules" and Polly rolled her eyes!
Polly said "Meh Any excuse for destroying enemies and kicking butt is good enough for me! Pam and Sandie are kinda cool too and violent revenge is always cool!"
"And as Queen Ivy, King Sprig's beloved How dare they mess with a Sundew! Who the heck do they think they are! You mess with a Sundew, you mess with me! Hiyah!" Ivy growled.
Sandra hugged her and waggled her doggy tail and Ivy hugged her back. Sandra said "Oh Ivy you don't need to be angry in my favor"
Ivy growled "I know but I NEED to destroy them! I wont stop until there gone! Mom says shes fine with it!" Felicia shouted "I give her permission to kick butt if I can come along!" and Ivy punched and kicked cardboard drawings of evil cannibal frogs that were drawn by her to look like demons and evil monsters that looked so scary! She punched and kicked them until nothing was left! Felicia knew that She and King Sprig was strong and she trusted his strength but wanted to be there for her little girl anyways.
Her grand momma Sylvia said "Wish you good luck Ivy and knock em dead sweetpea!" "Bye Sylvia! seeya later" Ivy waved back.
King Sprig of Wartwood Town gave Queen Ivy a kiss on the cheek that made her heart melt and cheered her up.
Sandra watched and smiled but said "Your so good at martial arts! Woah!" with stars in her eyes, proud of her little sister. "So cool! Whatever I'm joining in!" and they both kicked the mannequins down together! Sandra used them as a chew toy too as her tail waggled! Sandrivy kick butt forever! Woof woof!
Pamela was busy juggling Maddie's sisters the tadpoles, when babysitting them, their favorite play time activity like a clown juggling balloons. "YOUR THE BEST BIG SIS EVER FOR A STRANGE FURRY MONSTER!" Rosemary Ginger and Lavender called to Pamela after the playtime was over and they played with eachother. Maddie's dad gave Pam the thumbs up for the revenge trip and whispered in a gruff voice "Anybody who messes with my kid gets what they deserve" and she thumbs up back. Her fluffy ears twitched as Pamela walked up to Maddie, her sister.
"Whatcha preparing sis?" Pamela whispered while twirling her hair while smiling merrily. "If you need any shedded fur from my ears or tail for any spells, I have plenty leftover in my bedroom! What its humid in Amphibia!"
Maddie said "I need plenty! Revenge spells always need to know who there getting revenge for so I need your fur! Heheheheh! This revenge spell will be delicious! I cant wait to destroy the town that kept you as a slave, or maybe I should curse them for all eternity! So many good choices for your foes suffering! ehehehehheh!"
Pamela couldnt help but smile as her tail wagged in anticipation, curses where for those who really deserved it as her sister would always say! And boy did they deserve this revenge! She helped her sister prepare the furious, vicious revenge spell as they cackled manically together! Paddie rules!
Once all the preparations were done, they said goodbye to Wartwood and The gang hopped on Bessie the snail's back in eager anticipation of their revenge headed off to their enemies lair. Revenge was cold and sweet like Ice Cream!
While everyone loved their new King Sprig and Queen Ivy (although it was Hop Pop and Sylvia that did all the boring paperwork crud as they were still just 2 kids mucking around but they played along of course with Sprig putting in silly rules like swamp slushies for breakfast and movvy night every day), a certain toad was NOT happy with this at all! The old and exiled mayor toadstoll and his companion toadie were angry at King Sprig and the man behind the throne, Hop Pop taking over his rule over the town and doing what they wanted! How dare they! Frogs cannot rule over a Toad! Who did they think they were!? He had a wonderful idea in mind to put those pesky frogs back in their place!
Captain Grime and his now daughter Leuteinent Sasha heard about this and were not happy.
"A FROG as a King? A frog cannot be a mayor let alone a King! WHAT? How could you let this happen! PRISON FOR YOU TOADSTOLL!" Grime shouted as Bog Mire and Fern the guard toads smiled in amusement. Sasha glared at the exiled mayor in annoyance at him.
"But I tried everything, theft, exortion, everything and It didn't work! They chose him over me!" Toadstoal said.
Sasha whispered to Grime something about being more agreeable to get better results and He mumbled back "huh lt. thats a good idea" and Grime said "Wait a minute, I could give you another chance, maybe, you hardworking mayor of the majestic Wartwood town"
Toadstoal said "Go on Captain, tell me what can I do to redeem myself in your eyes and be use to the valley?" He made the "cute" (not) eyes at him which made them both cringe in disgust and Sasha hissed "Never do that again please!"
"Help spread the word of how imcopetant the frog king/queen is they're just kids it wont be too hard to convise them while we deal with other towns if they resist us" Grime grinned him and Sasha having an epic plan in mind.
