Chapter 46

The Straw Hats and Leah's crew left Shakkey's bar following Rayliegh who was carrying a large painting brush. Gail had pulled Franky back.

"I have wanted to meet my brother's apprentices." Gail told the cyborg.

Franky gave his fellow shipwright a confused look. "Brother?"

Theis deflated her, as her back slouched. "So, Tom never mentioned me?"

This made Franky uncomfortable. "Wait your Tom's sister!? But you two don't even look alike!"

"Fishmen and merpeople are different from humans that we can be any different type regardless of parentage."

Franky widened his eyes. "Yeah, Tom never really talked about his family." He spoke.

Still depressed at hearing what Franky said Gail tried to find the silver lining. "My guess is he was more focused on raising you and Iceberg."

"Yeah." Franky said lightly patting her on the back. "I will take it that you stopped by Water 7 on your way here?"

"I did and the mayor was shocked about his master having a siter that he never heard about." Gail said, still a bit dejected. "Thankfully Kokoro was able to verify my identity."

Gail then smiled at Franky. "I was told to deliver a message to you."

Franky rose an eyebrow. "I hope you are following your dream idiot." Gail told him.

The cyborg widened his eyes before he started crying. Shocked and not knowing what to do, she rubbed his back in comfort.

After walking a few miles, Rayliegh turned towards the pirates. "Alright, I will head towards your ships, I would suggest laying low."

"Alright my crew and I should be back to our ship in three days." Leah said.

Rayleigh nodded before walking away. Leah turned towards Luffy. "So, Lu see ya in the New World."

"Yeah, see you." Luffy said on the verge of crying.

Sighing Leah widened her arms to welcome him into a hug which he gladly accepted and let the waterworks fly. She patted her brothers back in comfort for some time before they eventually separated.

Luffy's tears were still falling from his eyes like waterfalls. Leah gave Luffy a reassuring smile. "We will see each other again, I swear it."

"O…kay." Luffy said between tears.

Luffy then turned towards his crew before walking to them. "W will see each other again Luffy."

"I know, and I can't wait to see you again." Luffy said.

Leah smiled softly before waving. Luffy waved back as the two crews went their separate ways.
