Me and my best friend high five have worked together at our job for seven months now. We have just finished a mission with him and we are driving back to The Glitch Techs Headquarters to deposit our exp
When five starts talking " hey miko can we talk about something please" he says " ya sure what's up buddy"I replied "I-I have been needing to tell you something for awhile and w-well I like you more than a friend" he stuttered while smiling "w-what I-I...five I don't know what to say ,but I-I don't like you like that you're like my brother. I-I'm sorry I just don't like you." slowly his smile disappears then he pulled the car over stepping out of the car without a word. Quickly I get out of the car and walk over to him placing my hand on his shoulder and pulling him towards me. Suddenly he turned around and slapped me across the face. Shocked I reached up to my cheek and looked at him with tears in my eyes "Why are you so shocked you played with my heart and expect me to not slap you" he said looking at me with hatred. "I-I did not play with your heart and you son of a bitch you honestly thought that I would play with your heart like that. Then you don't know me at all" I said with tears streaming down my cheeks. He turned around and walked back towards the car and looked at me " I am not going to drive you back" he said then he drove away leaving me alone with my thoughts. Reaching into my pocket for my phone and realized that I had left my phone in the car 'fuck I don't have any idea how to get to The Headquarters and I have no phone' I think. then I see a car 'oh thank goodness it's a glitch techs car. Did five come back for me or was it someone else?' Reaching out my arm I flagged down the car. It slowed down and stopped right in front of me. I saw the driver step out of the car and walk towards me. Then I noticed that it was Mitch ' Seriously why him of all people please anyone but him' I thought "oh it's you. Why are you doing out on the road and where's that idiot of yours?" He asked " well I don't really feel like telling you what happened but he left me here and I think he is at The Headquarters" I replied with my arms folded across my chest. he looked shocked after I said that " then let's get you back at headquarters I guess" he said motioning me to get in the car. We drove in silence until I looked over at him and he saw me "take a picture it will last longer" he said smirking oh how I wanted to wipe that smug look off his face ' maybe I could punch him but he is driving I will do that later' I smiled as I thought that. As we turned into the parking lot I looked around and saw my car was there. We got out of the car and then walked in the door and there was none other than five. " you son of a bitch you left me on the side of the road and I didn't even have my fucking phone to call someone to get me" I yelled he reached in his pocket and pulled out my phone and handed it to me "thanks to Mitch who helped me get back here. I can now say that I no longer are on your team." I said then I saw Phil walk up to us " what in the hell is going on here" he said looking at all of us " boss I want to request that I no longer be on fives team" I replied he then looked at me with shock at my statement."very well then but you have to be on a team so you will be with Mitch from now on and five you will work with Zahar and haneesh" he said.
