Chapter One: New Arrivals

"Hey! A pick up game! I'm in!" Dojo shouts as Master Fung brings over a ball.

"No Dojo. This is no game. The young monks are about to learn an exercise that teachers humility." Master Fung says.

"Oh I am the best at humility. There is no one who can fill my socks." Omi says proudly.

"Shoes." Raimundo says.

"Shoes." Omi says.

"The idea is to pass the ball around in perfect rhythm while working not to show up any fellow warrior." Master Fung says.

"Even Raimundo? That would be most difficult." Omi says as Master Fung gives him the ball.

"Oh I'll try not to slow you down." Raimundo says as the group begins spreading out.

"Try as you will but-" Omi then gets cut off by Alexis covering his mouth with her hand as she picks him up.

"Omi maybe it's best that we let our skills and teamwork do the talking? So let's get started." Alexis says as she puts Omi down and goes to a spot near Raimundo.

"Thanks." Raimundo says as he looks at Alexis.

"No problem." Alexis says as she smiles before the group see Omi showing off with the ball spinning it around.

"Try to take it away if you can." Omi says as he shows off with the ball much to everyone's annoyance.

"So much for not showing up fellow warriors." Alexis says.

"Yep." Raimundo says.

"Now that's gotta be my homie Omi." A voice says.

"I know that voice. Jermaine!" Alexis says happily as the group sees Jermaine with a bag.

"Jermaine!" Omi says happily as the group goes over to Jermaine.

"What up?" Jermaine says.

"It's good to see you." Alexis says.

"You guys too. I see some things haven't changed since last time. Though that's not a bad thing." Jermaine says as he smiles at Alexis causing her to blush.

"How come you didn't give us a holler you were coming for a visit?" Clay asks.

"I wanted to surprise you. And I have some big time news." Jermaine says as he pulls out a monks uniform.

"Aww you brought me a present! You shouldn't have." Omi says.

"That's good. Because I didn't. Peacock fanning feather!" Jermaine shouts as he changes into the uniform.

"Well I'll be a goat's nanny!" Clay says.

"Is that true? Are you really saying?" Kimiko asks.

"You got it right kid. This home boy is now a monk warrior." Jermaine says.

"This is most exciting! Now I will teach you everything I know! Well maybe not everything. But as much as you can handle." Omi says excitedly.

"Thanks Omi but-" Jermaine then gets cut off by Omi.

"Maybe one day with my guidance you will too one day rise to become an accomplished apprentice just like us!" Omi says proudly.

"Omi dog chill out man. I've already moved past apprentice. I'm a Wu Dai Warrior." Jermaine says proudly.

"Way to go dude!" Raimundo says.

"Amazing!" Alexis says happily.

"So that means you have moved up to a higher level than me?" Omi asks.

"Yeah I guess so." Jermaine says.

"I am so happy for you." Omi says as he gives a strained smile.

"My master told me I'm the fastest learner he ever taught. And he thinks I'll make Dragon in record time." Jermaine says as Alexis notices Omi is grinding his teeth.

"Hey Jermaine why don't you let me show you around? There's lots to see and we can catch up too." Alexis says as she goes over to Jermaine.

"Sure thing. I've always wanted to check out yours and Omi's crib. And it'd be nice catching up too." Jermaine says as he and Alexis walk off.

*Timeskip*

"I'm really glad you're here Jermaine." Alexis says as she is walking with Jermaine.

"Me too. Even more happy to see you again. I've been looking forward to seeing you." Jermaine says.

"I'm happy to see you too. It's so amazing that you've progressed to Wu Dai Warrior." Alexis says as she smiles.

"Yeah it is. Though I don't got an element like Omi or the others." Jermaine says.

"You don't need an element to be a good monk. I mean I don't have one and look at me." Alexis says.

"Yeah and you're one of the best fighters out of the others. But you work as hard as Omi does to make up for not having an element and make the best with what you got. And what you got is pretty impressive." Jermaine says as Alexis smiles and blushes.

"Thanks Jermaine." Alexis says.

"Speaking of Omi did you notice how he was acting back there?" Jermaine asks as Alexis gives a nervous look.

"Oh um I'm sure Omi was just uh tired. Come on. There's lots more to show you." Alexis says.

"Lead the way girl." Jermaine says as he chuckles and continues to follow Alexis.
