Its been a month since Camula's defeat and since then their isn't any sign on Shadow Rider's DaichI Misawa was up early as usual. He was standing on the cliff side and staring out into the horizon. His slicked black hair didn't even budge from the sea breeze wafting on his face. He was anxious to get a duel with a Shadow Rider. Watching Kaiser duel and completely obliterate Camula was stimulating and slightly cathartic. He didn't get to see Judai duel against Nightshroud who later turned out to be Yusuke one of Ryo's missing best friend.

Misawa opened his Ra Yellow jacket and looked down at his tactical vest that held his many decks. Pulling one out he flipped through the cards, double checking that everything was as he needed. He came across a card that he didn't realize that was in there. The little card that was from his childhood. He looked around, wondering how it got into that deck… it didn't fit with the theme.

He felt his face warm, and blamed the wind hitting it. He shook his head violently to clear it. Slipping the card out of the deck and into his jacket pocket, he put the deck away. Zipping up his jacket he slapped his cheeks twice.

"Alright! I will be the next to duel and take on the next Shadow Rider!" Misawa exclaimed to the morning.

It was time for class and Ryo was on his way to Chronos' class. Had things turned out differently, he would be sitting next to his two best friends. Usually Yusuke wanted to sit in the middle, but other times Fubuki would and he would force them to endure his muttering under his breath.

Walking up to his class, he noticed that other students were standing around waiting. Raising an eyebrow, he tapped one of the other Obelisks on the shoulder. The guy turned around and went wide eyed at seeing the Kaiser standing there.

"So what is the deal? Where is Chronos-sensei?"

"Not sure man. We have been waiting, but he hasn't shown up and no one knows where he is. Which means no one knows what is going to happen with the class," the other male Obelisk responded. He ran a hand through his light blonde hair and closed his hazel eyes. "Man, I studied all week for this test. I was going to ace it for sure."

"Students," Samejima said. He happened to be walking by and saw the congregation of students waiting outside the door. "Is there a problem?"

"We can't get in Principal," Ryo responded. Samejima looked at him and raised an eyebrow in question. "Apparently no one has seen Chronos-sensei and he keeps his class door locked."

Samejima pursed his lips. After the ordeal with Camula, Chronos was examined and the report said everything was alright for him to go back to teaching. So it didn't make sense that he would not be here. Samejima looked at the group of advanced students and made a decision.

"You all are to report to Professor Banner's class until further notice. I will see about locating Chronos at the very least to find a substitute teacher." He looked Ryo right in the eyes. "Marufuji-kun tell Professor Banner that until further notice you will be in his class as well."

Samejima calls Ryo by his first name but if they're on a meeting with other students or teachers then he adress Ryo by his surname because he doesn't want the others to know about their special relationship.

All the students groaned. They were hoping for a day off or just not to get sent to the Professor's class. His paradueling class was strange to say the least. Samejima leveled all of them with a stare and they all complied, slumping their shoulders and made their way to said class.

Ryo looked at Samejima."Do you think something happened to him?"

"I don't know. I will see about finding him, and why he isn't here teaching as he should be. He doesn't have a key anymore, so he won't be a target for Shadow Riders anymore." Samejima smiled slightly at Ryo. "Try not to worry about this. Let me handle this one, you have enough on your shoulders."

With that out of the way, Samejima waved to his best duelist and made his way back to office. Ryo turned around and made his way to Professor Banner's class. This would be interesting, he thought.

Once he reached the door, he realized that none of the other students went in yet. They all stood out waiting for him and their eyes were trained on him, as he walked into the class first. The others stood behind him and watched him walk up to Professor Banner.

"Yes Marufuji, can I help you?" Professor Banner asked. He was petting his cat who was lying on his podium.

"Principal sent us here today. Chronos-sensei isn't at class and we don't have an instructor. Do you have room for about twenty of us?" Ryo glanced around the large classroom and noticed many empty seats.

"Yes, as you can see… I have many absences today. So you all may pick a seat and sit wherever you feel like it." Banner motioned to the raised seats and the other students walked into the room.

Asuka looked at Ryo and raised her eyebrows. They shared a look and he shrugged his shoulders and shook his head, silently telling her, he had no idea. Ryo climbed the steps to the row where Asuka was sitting and chose to sit next to her. He put the text books he was carrying down on the long desk and slid into the seat while the remaining 19 3rd years were also stelling down..

"So Chronos-sensei is missing? But its been a month since he got back from being a doll," she whispered.

"I know Asuka. Trust me I just spoke with Principal Samejima and he said he will be looking into it. He believes that Chronos-sensei is not at risk from the other Shadow Riders, mainly because he doesn't have a key anymore." Ryo kept his eyes forward to give the illusion he was paying attention.

About 30 minutes later a woman walked in carrying a bag. She was a known teacher's aide and she wore a white and orange shirt with her orange skirt. Her brown hair was cut pixie style and she looked at Professor Banner and walked up to him with the bag.

"Yes? Is there a problem?" Professor Banner asked, concerned.

She leaned close and whispered in Banner's ear. "Well do you recognize this bag?"

Banner looked down at it and moved his glasses up and down. "Yes, it belongs to one of my students. Why?"

Judai, Sho, and Chumley who were sleeping peacefully and snoring, chose that moment to wake up. They all looked down where the two adults were speaking. The Key Keepers all exchanged glances and rose up. Banner looked up at them and raised an eyebrow. Ryo made his way down, with Asuka at his side, the other first and third years bringing up the rear.

"We will look into this Professor Banner. If you have any questions feel free to speak with Principal Samejima" Asuka said.

The aide handed over the bag and looked at the group. Judai moved up and took the bag, stepping aside to let Asuka speak. They looked at the de facto leader of their group. Ryo looked at the bag and then to the woman who found it.

"Where was this found?"

"It was found on the west side of the island, deep in the jungle," she responded quickly with wide eyes.

"Thanks. We will handle it from here."

They all made their way out of the room and went to get their duel disks. Something told them that they were about to be meeting the next Shadow Rider.

After class Banner, Judai, Asuka, Sho, Chumley, Chazz, Misawa, and Ryo were heading deep in the jungle and Judai was still carrying the bag. They were hoping to find the owner of the bag and possibly the other students who went missing in the last couple of days. They all wore their duel disks and were looking all around at the trees and foliage around them.

"I wonder why this bag was left all the way out here," Judai stated.

"Indeed, and another point. Where is the owner of said bag," Misawa threw his two cents in as well.

Sho looked around and shook his head. "I really hope no one is hurt. I feel like this island is cursed or something."

Everyone started calling out at the same time. Hoping that someone would call back and let them know where they were and hopefully safe. While they continued walking, they came upon a sight no one would have guessed was out here. In front of them was a multilayered coliseum. It was made completely of stone and looked out of place on the island.

The group made their way towards it and walked inside the large opening. Hackles rose on them and Judai felt something even further off. His gut was in knots and feelings of dread settled there.

Once inside, they looked around and saw many of the students that had been missing the past couple of days. They looked around the upper levels and eyes went wide when they recognized the missing students.

"Hey, isn't he from class?" Sho said pointing at a Slifer trying to move a large block.

Everyone looked over and Chumley nodded his head. "Yeah and so is she."

"Chronos-sensei?!" Chazz yelled out with his eyes bugged out and a fist raised.

Everyone looked to where Chazz was and their eyes went wide as well. Chronos was using a large crowbar and was trying to move a large cinder block. Chronos looked over when he heard his voice.

"What exactly are you doing?" Sho called out.

"A man's work," he responded easily.

"They running low on men?" Chazz muttered under his breath. Asuka jabbed her elbow into his ribs and caused him to double over.

" It's like the tactful gene skipped you," she hissed under breath.

Suddenly Judai screamed and took off running, dropping the bag to the ground. When everyone looked at what scared him, they saw it… a TIGER! The others turned on their heels and ran for their lives. Banner was not ashamed to admit it but he used his mile long legs to run faster. A tall column was in front of them and he started scurrying up it.

"Seriously? A coliseum and now a tiger? What's next a freaking gladiator?!" Judai yelled in exasperation.

"I think she prefers the term Amazon," Chronos said with his hands resting on his cheeks.

"AMAZON?!" Banner screamed at him.

The others managed to climb the column and were all hanging on for dear life. Sho managed to push the others out of the way and climb to the top and sat there. He looked down and saw them all glaring at him, wondering how the shortest of them managed such a feat.

"That's right. And thanks to your friends I managed to finish my glorious arena!" A voice called out. All eyes in the arena went to the sound of the voice.

There stood a tall woman with red dark skin and blue eyes with her red/purple hair. Two scar marks went over her right eye. Her hair was tied in a high ponytail and even then it went down to her waist. She was muscular and wore clothes that showed it off. Smirking at the newcomers, she crouched low and did a flip off the ledge to land in front of them. With her arm extended out, she called the tiger to her side.

"Arena for what?" Judai asked.

When the tiger made its way over to her, she rubbed the head affectionately. "Dueling of course!"

While the Key Keepers shimmied their way down the column, the Amazon turned away from them and began handing out envelopes to the students and Chronos lined in front of her. Making comments about how they made such good laborers. It all seemed degrading to the group. Once the last one was given their envelope and left, she turned back to the group she was really there for.

"Hey! What is going on here?" Judai yelled out with a fist raised.

"What does it look like, Key Keeper? I am setting the stage for this shadow game. I am one of the eight Shadow Riders," she said evilly. Her eyes narrowed and a smirk crooked her lips.

"A Shadow Rider? Oh man…" Sho said.

Chumley came up from behind him with his mouth wide open. "You mean oh wo-man. Amazons are a warrior tribe made up of all females!" he exclaimed.

Asuka blinked and nodded her head in awe. "Wow, you go girl!" Everyone looked at her and shook their heads. "What? I shall be your opponent!" she demanded indignantly.

"The name is Tania. And now that I have the battle ground, who of you big strong men will I take on first?" Her eyes slid to Alexis. "After all, I don't duel woman."

Asuka became angry and snapped back. "What did you say"

"So who is my man?" Tania challenged.

"Right here!" Judai stated.

"Your's truly," Chazz spat out.

"You can count me in". Ryo said.

"I'll take you," Misawa spoke out.

Banner and Sho just stood back and let those four duke it out. Banner was a little afraid, and he didn't want to duel just yet.

Tania looked at the four in front of her and to the ones who didn't step up. She put a finger to her temple as she sized them up. She looked at each of them, carefully considering her options. Something about the one in the middle drew her. He wore a bright yellow jacket and he looked pristine. It made her want to rough him up.

"Well all of you are handsome and thin, if this is who I have to choose from… I choose you." She pointed to Misawa

Both Judai and Chazz looked dejected as they made their way back. Ryo doesn't mind letting Misawa shine and looked indifferent as he made his way back. Asuka stood tall and stiff with her arms crossed over her chest. A clear pout on her face. She 'hmphed' and whipped around. They all made their way up to the stands and took their seats.

"What is your name?"

"Daichi Misawa," he replied coolly.

Tania smiled at the name. She liked it. This was going to be fun.

"Go get her Misawa. Take her down!" Judai cheered from the stands.

"Alright, let's do this. Now the only question is-" He opened his yellow jacket to reveal his tactical vest with his decks attached. "Which deck to choose?"

Tania raised her eyebrows, it seemed as though she had more in common with this one than she thought. She pulled her two decks out and showed them to her challenger. "Really, I have the same problem. I have two decks. One is of knowledge, the other of courage. I will let you pick."

Misawa looked at them and nodded his head. "Fine then, I choose the deck of knowledge." She smiled and complimented his choice. "It won't be as good as my choice. I select my earth deck."

They each slid their decks into the disks and Tania seemed to change her demeanor. She put her hands clasped in front of her and bent over slightly. She looked like a school girl and the others could see hearts around her head.

"And just so you are aware, this isn't a shadow game. At least not in the usual sense," she called to him.

"Beg your pardon?" Misawa spat out.

"You heard me. I don't want your soul, I want you big guy!" she exclaimed. Misawa nearly fell over with the shock. "It's like this, my tribe is all women. So to marry, I have to shop around."

"To marry?!"

"That's right big guy! If you lose you get to become my husband. So let's duel." Tania winked at him.

"Duel"

The LP Counters on Tania and Misawa's disks reset to 4000 as each drew 5 cards from the top of their deck.

Turn 1 Tania

"Ladies first", Tania declared, " And first I will summon the Amazoness Swordswoman in Attack Mode!" Tania slid into her Duel Disk. Ared-haired woman appeared, clad in little more than tatters. She held a gaint sword in her hands (ATK 1500)

"Next I will place one card face down and end my turn, A face dowm card appeared behind swordswoman.

"Now I am up". Misawa roared maintaining a serious expression.

Turn 2 Misawa

Misawa drew his next card. "Now I summon to the Field Zanji, of the Six Samurai in attack mode" He yelled. Placing the card onto his Duel Disk, Misawa watched constantly as his Samurai Warrior appeared, clad in armor of gold light (ATK 300). "Now Zanji, attack that Amazoness Six Samurai Strike! Misaws exclaimed pointing forward as his monster leapt out, prepared to follow any command given.

With a loud cry the two warriors met on the Field of battle, their weapons clashing against each other powerfully bing the weaker monster however, the Amazoness Swordsman cried out as her body vanished and yet Tania was not affected but Misawa's LP dropped to 3700.

"Why did Misawa-kun lost LP?" Sho questioned.

Tania smiked. "That would be my Amazoness Swordswoman's effect. Her opponent takes all the Battle Damage that was dealt to her".

"On man, he walked right into that one". Chummley said.

"Yeah that's not like him". Asuka agreed.

"Not quite". Ryo said.

"Yeah I mean, its just like Misawa after all if you think about it". Judai said. He may lost LP but she has less monsters.

"Yeah, until I play my Trap Card that is! Tania said gleefully as her set card flipped. "Amazoness Willpower!" It will bring my Amazoness Swordswoman right back to the field from the graveyard! Not so smart now, huh?"

The red-haired warrior reappeared in a flash of light and she gazed upon Zanji stoically, before raising her blade for a second attack.

"Look's like you miscalculated your moves" Tania said "Now we have the same number of monsters, but different LP.

Misawa sighed softly and glanced at his remaining hand. "I will set a card face down and end my turn". A face down appeared behind Zanji.

"Oh my! Impressive move?" Say it again!" Tanai begged, gazing Misawa affectionately. "You're so charming".

"What now?" Chumley crawled from the sideline.

"Misawa? Charming?" Chazz scoffed. "She is seriously looking for a husband". He remarked sarcastically

"Or its been few years since she's laid eyes on a man". Sho agreed.

"Years? Decades!" Chronos retorted and then touched both of his cheeks. "Mamma Mia I am gald I didn't duel her".

"Hmp" Misaws snorted, with his arms crossed. "I am flattered but I know you're trying to distract me. But my dear that won't work because I am focused on winning".

Turn 3 Tania

"Oh Really!?" Tania exclaimed becoming serious.

"We'll see! Draw!" Tania drew her Next card. "I play the Amazoness Blowpiper in Attack mode!" She almost snarled and placed the card into her Duel disk. A blue-haired warrior appear besides her revived Swordswoman (ATK 1500).

"And soon, I will have her attack your Six Samurai" She declared moving her hand forward as Misawa's eyes widened in surprise.

"Oh stop it! You must realize that's a bad play!" Misawa rebutted noting the difference in their monsters Attack Points.

"Stop it? Why don't I just stop you from winning this duel?" Tania rebutted, reaching into her hand for a spell and then flipped the card. "With this, Amazoness Spellcaster!Now one Amazoness and one monster on the Field exchange their Attack points with each other".

"What!" Misawa's eyes widened in disbelief, He glanced towards the Field and frowned as he watched Tania's words became a reality.

"That doesn't look good". Sho noted from the sidelines. "Now Misawa's monster will be-"

"Outmatched!" Asuka finished.

"Attack! Amazoness Blowpiper!" Tania commanded, and the blue-haired warrior moved, raising her blowpipe to her lips before firing a series of darts into Zanji's being. Misawa's Samurai Warrior cried out in pain as the darts impaled its body, sending it sprawling into the delta of the graveyard in an instant. Misawa cursed as it faded away, and glanced at his LP dropping to 2700.

"And now". Tania continued, "The Amazoness Swordswoman will attack you directly! Go Amazon Slash Attack!" With a fierce cry, the red-haired warrior leapt forward, and slashed her blade through Misawa's body; an action that would have undoubtedly killed the boy had it been a shadow and dropping his LP to 1200

Clenching her fist as Misawa began to recover, Tania smiled. "That was fun" She said watching him closely.

"But...How?" Misawa gasped. "That's two times! Two times she's outsmarted me!"

"I guess we know who our kids are going to get their intellect from!" Tania giggled.

"What?! Our kids?" We are enemies! Rivals!" Misawa exclaimed.

"During this duel we are". Tania chuckled. "But afterwards we will be husband and wife and you will be Mr Tania The Amazon Woman!"

Everyone in the sideline fell down in anime style before giving a blank stare.

"You're dreamy" Misawa sighed. "Are you really smitten with me ?"

"I prefer in love". Tania cooed

Misawa took a step forward and hissed "You don't really know me!"

"I know enough!" Tania rebutted. "My cute babykins".

"Nrgh!" Misawa grunted, gritting his teeth. "No , I need to stay calm and focused! I am above all this" He grabbed his head fiercely, attempting to block out his ideas that were popping into his head about married life. "No!"

"Man, Misawa sure is acting weird". Judai noted.

"Love works in mysterious ways". Sho agreed,

Turn 4 Misawa

"Shut up you two!" Misawa snapped, breaking himself out of his daydreams. "I'm not in love! And I will prove it with this move! My turn draw!" Misawa slid the next card from his deck."Right! Now I will activate my face down! Return of the Six Samurai!" Misawa's set card flipped, revealing its Trap " It allows me to revive one Six Samurai in my graveyard for this turn only which means that my Zanji gets to comeback out for an encore!" Misawa yelled and watching as it freed Zanji's soul from the Card Reaper.

"But he won't be alone on the Field for long, because now I am summoning another of the Six Samurai!" Misawa declared. "Behold, the power of the flaming heart of the Six Samurai - Kamon!" He placed the card onto the blade of his Duel Disk, and watched as elderly warrior appeared . The Six Samurai Kamon 0.

"What?" Tania gasped.

"Now it's time to battle!" Misawa declares pointing his index finger. "First, Kamon will attack your Amazoness Swordswoman! And don't forget, because they have the same number of Attack Points, not only will they both be destroyed but I won't take the Battle Damage either!

The red-hot Samurai clucked his tongue before lightning a stick of dynamite and he rushed the powerful Amazon in a sucide dash, wrapping his arms around the woman's waist before she could even complain. With wide eyes Tania cried out- but it was too late. The dynamite in Kamon'a pack exploded, and the two monsters vanished into the graveyard, together as one.

Tania raised her Duel Disk Shielding her eyes from the point-blank explosion of dirt and debris that erupted from Kamon'a attack. She gritted her teeth tightly before squinting through the mass dust to gaze upon her beloved opponent.

"And now it's time for the second attack!" Misawa continued, pointing his index finger forward. "Zanji attack her Amazoness Blowpiper with your Lightning Samurai Slash!" Zanji nodded at the command and he twirled his spear around rapidly before leaping forward. With a fierce, samurai-like yell, he cut through the woman who'd defeated him once before, and cleaved her clean in half.

Tania cried out once more as a second explosion erupted from her monster's defeat, and her body found itself being pushed back several pace from the sheer power of the holgram's eruption and her LP dropping to 3000

"And don't forget". Misawa exclaimed. "I still have one more monster to attack you with! The Grandmaster! Go, Show her power of the Six Samurai, with your Six Lived Samurai Swing!" The eyes of the Grandmaster began to glow with fierce blower as he rose uo, and grabbing the grey blade beneath him, the aged man plunged forward, cutting through Tania's being with six, well-made, practice blows. The Amazon woman cried out as the attacks became clear, and she staggered backward as her LP dropping to 900, as if truely hurt from the blows.

"Oh Wow! What a move! No Wonder I love you!" Tania cheered, rubbing her hands dootingly, "And babykins because I do, I must defeat you".

"Impossibe!" Misawa said seriously. "Because this duel is already over!"

"What" Tania gasped, eyes widening. "But how?! I still have 900 LP in case you've forgotten!"

"Yes well, too bad for you, its still my Battle Phase! Misawa said reaching for the one last card in his hand and then flipped. "And I have a Quick-Play Spell Card!"

"Ah!" Tania gasped

"Looks like he's going for an OTK". Ryo commented.

"You haven't seen anything". Tania said fiercely, before turning her gaze back to Misawa. "Misawa my darling all of my friends are strong"

"Well said". Misawa agreed with a smirk, "and that's why I'm playing this! The Six Scrolls of the Samurai!"

The Six Scrolls of the Samurai?" Tania wondered. "What does that do?!"

"Misawa chuckled and lowered his Duel Disk to slid a card. "Its a piece of cake. The Six Scrolls of the Samurai can only be used while I have two Six Samurai monsters face-up on my side of the Field. When I do, I can then tribute them to bring out the boss monster from this deck!"

"Boss Monster?" Tania wondered. "You mean its not that Grandmaster?"

"Of course not, But don't worry you'll meet him soon! Because now I'm using these Six Scrolls of the Samurai can only be used while I have two Six Samurai monsters face-up on my side of the Field, When I do I can now Tribute them to bring out the boss monster from this deck!"

A he spoke, did differently colored scrolls wrapped around the two monsters, banishing them from the Field to the graveyard as a flaming silhouette appeared in their stead. Slowly a glowing blue sigil appeared along the silhouette's chest, and suddenly the silhouette was no more. In its place stood a man wrapped in a dark aura, clad in armor of crimsion red, and wielding a blade most evil. He swung his flowing black cape behind him, and smirked (ATK 2400)

"On man! Misawa is really going to beat her!" Chumley muttered.

"Not a bad for Ra!" Chazz replied.

"Yeah! go for it Misawa!" Judai cheered.

Misawa glared at the back of the field. "Now, its time we end this Duel! Go, Great Shogun Shien! Attack her directly for the win! Great Shogun Slash Attack!"

With a single cleave nor his sword, the Great Shogun unleashed a wave of fire that sped towards Tania's position quickly.

"Wait you mean I won't be getting married!" Tania gasped as her eyes widened.

The fire slashed into her body, and she be wise out- watching as the rest of her LP dropping to 0

Misawa 1200 Winner

Tania 0

"Well, it looks like 3 Shadow Rider has already been defeated". Misawa said turning his back to the woman. "Let me know if you ever want a rematch".

Tania smiled softly. "No I joined Shadow Rider to find a man worthy of my love, but now I know that I am the one who is unworthy".

"What?" Misawa wondered. He turned back to glare at Tania only to see a fierce purple aura suddenly overtake her and her body began to change,

Red skin became white fur, and shifiting into her true form - that of a majestic white tiger!"

"A tiger?" Sho gasped.

"Tania?" Misawa asked in suprised, Is that you?"

The tiger growled softly, before turning to join her Bass to leave the colossal. While she left she turned back to face Misawa once more to bid goodbye.

"Farewell Misawa".

And they were gone.

Misawa blinked for several seconds, watching the last of the pair disappear into the black abyss of the pyramid before shaking his head. "Well I guess that's that".

"Sure Misawa-kun" Chazz said with a snide look, setting a hand on the Ra's shoulder. "But you sure know to pick them!"

"Aw don't worry pal" Judai said with a grin.

"Maybe someday Misawa-kun you'll have more than enough time to look". Asuka assured her.

"Anyway we better get going before curfew has been imposed". Ryo reminded them.

The group nod as they left the collosuium unware someone was eyeing on them.

Ryo and Asuka followed Chronos to Blue dorm, Chazz, Judai, Sho, and Chumley followed Banner to Red dorm and Misawa went straight to his dorm.

Meanwhile deep within the final chamber, the greatest Pharaoh sighed.

"I see. So even Tania fell before their might". He murmured, and he then leaned back in his throne, content. " Well then I suppose now its my turn with 3 out of 8 gone. Come Key-Keeper's. I shall see to it that you face your greatest challenge yet!

He laughed fiercely and the candles leading to his position burned bright.

RIP Takahasi you will be missed but Yu-GI-Oh will forever stay alive.

We haven't post any chapter last month because my friend got carried away with work and I was busy doing some prompt for the GX Rare Pair Week.

I am sorry if we a made Misawa act OC. My friend wrote the Marufuji brothers duel with Camula and Jaggers VS Chazz duel. So I decide to script the duel today becuase she is busy and that's why the duel structure is a bit different than the previous ones. The reason we made him act OC is because we want to give him some respect and the duel in canon made him look like a butt if jokes and Tania doesn't need a win.

Next chapter is going to be a non-duel one. We're not going to write Judai's duel with that Admiral but we will only give a reference or mention part of if coming to challenge him.
