Arisugawa's Locket

Christmas 2018

"Dashing through the snow," the blonde in a stylized Santa outfit sang as she twirled around, "on a one horse open sleigh."

"Saber! Get back here!" Rin chased her.

"Over hills we go, laughing all the way!" she kept on singing.

Rin growled, "SABER!"

Juri looked on with amusement. "That's a cute Santa outfit... but is the skirt supposed to be split to the crotch?" she wondered.

Her wife, Setsuna Meiou, was leaning against her. "At least she's wearing underwear... and we've seen racier outfits."

"Point," Juri conceded.

The usual 'trouble at Christmas' event had been handled, and everyone was back at the Locket having a drink.

One wondered WHY almost every year some cosmic threat decided to stomp on Earth for Christmas. One year it was aliens, another a Moon Kingdom menace, then a Jurai problem came up... it was nuts! Thankfully Earth had a lot of defenders, both powered and not. And they didn't mind working a holiday.

One of those defenders was dancing with her girlfriend. Eighth Wonder was one of the two most powerful heroines of her world (The other being her Mom. Sigh.) and was almost constantly busy. She saved the world (or at least the city) daily in her red and gold bodysuit. Having a girlfriend who was once a villain complicated things too.

Honey the Hugger was snuggled close to Eighth Wonder, the smaller, black leather clad girl looking strikingly different from the taller heroine. Yet the Wonder looked down at her tenderly as they slow danced.

"I STILL can't believe you figured out my secret identity, Mei," Eighth noted mildly.

"You don't even wear a mask, Clara," Mei noted wryly.

"Okay, point," Clara conceded. "But how was I supposed to know my fully masked girlfriend and enemy was my best friend Mei?" she sighed. Mei was STILL giving her grief for not figuring it out on her own.

"Girlfriends should know these things," Mei pouted.

"Hey, Mei?" Clara asked.

"Hmm?" Mei looked up at her.

"Did you pick that name so I'd have to call you 'Honey?'" Clara asked curiously.

Mei tellingly blushed brightly...

Not that far away, an older but very attractive woman was hiding behind a menu. Haruka, Clara's MOTHER, had been following them on their date, mostly to try to keep any supervillains from jumping them. Which she had stopped twice so far...

"Ma'am?" the attractive, maid dressed waitress asked politely.

Haruka lowed the menu reluctantly. "Sorry," she sighed.

May tried not to look too amused. "What, exactly are you doing?" she had to ask.

With a sigh Haruka explained she was tailing her daughter on her date. "And yes, I know it's rediculously overprotective..." she conceded.

"I think it's sweet," May noted mildly. "You'd probably blend better if you had a drink or a meal," she suggested mildly.

"Probably a good idea," Haruka agreed.

Mei looked to the side of Clara, blinking. "Is that your MOTHER over there...?"

Clara sighed. "Just ignore her," she suggested.

"Midori? I thought you'd quit?" Alpha blinked as the woman with a short skirted waitress outfit hurried in to grab her name-tag.

Midori Sugiura smiled back, the brown haired woman nodding. "I did," she admitted as she pinned on the name tag, "but I kind of overspent before Christmas. I kind of need the money."

"Ah," Alpha nodded. With her situation, THAT was usually not a issue for her. "There's a lot of new folks tonight," she cautioned, "be careful. If something goes wrong, call me or the senior staff."

"Got it," Midori agreed as they hurried off to serve.

Over at a nearby table a woman in a pink and white Spider-man style outfit was looking around in confusion. Gwen Stacy was used to weird shit: got bit by a radioactive spider, best friend turned to the Lizard, lose and regain powers, get vemonized... but this was new.

"Hey Spider," Felicia Hardy, the Black Cat, was looking at her with amusement. "Not used to lesbian bars?"

Adding to the weirdness this wasn't HER reality's Felicia. The very sexy white haired woman had recognized her though, and had glomped on her. "No, I'm not," Gwen admitted. "Hell, I thought I was straight..."

Felicia snorted. "Sweetie, I'm bi," she informed her, "and generally, the Locket doesn't really care about that sort of arbitrary deffinition. Have you ever looked at a lady and felt some attraction?"

Gwen nodded thoughtfully, "Yeah, a few times."

"There you go. That's why you're here," Felicia said, nodding.

"That and I nearly got into a threesome with my world's Mary Jane and Gloria Grant," Gwen admitted sheepishly.

Felicia looked at her blankly a moment. "Tell me EVERYTHING," she demanded.

Over at another table Sailor Moon and her friends sat as she noted cheerfully, "There's a lot more Westerners here this year."

"They're powerhouses. I think that Supergirl one-shotted at least one of the monsters," Sailor Venus noted, smiling.

The twenty-something Sailor Moon chuckled. "Anything that saves work for me is a good thing," she pointed out cheerfully.

"Power doesn't solve everything," Sailor Jupiter noted, the martial artist frowning a bit.

"Signum, you take these things too seriously," Fate Testarossa, the latest Sailor Moon, said.

"Now now," Nanoha Takamachi, her wife and Sailor Mars noted.

Sailor Venus also known as Alisa Bannings, was sitting beside her girlfriend. "It's so lucky these artifacts picked us, or we'd likely just vanish after the second season."

Sailor Mercury poked her lover. "Stop breaking the fourth wall, dear," Suzuka Tsukimura scolded her gently.

"I don't know WHY they call me Mini-Moon," Vivio Takamachi-Testarossa pouted. She also appeared offended by her pink uniform.

"There there," Sailor Saturn patted her arm. Einhart Stratos, her girlfriend, had kind of reluctantly been pulled into this mess. At least HER outfit was a more dignified purple.

Up at the bar, Juri shook her head wryly. "That is just very, very odd," she noted.

Setsuna nodded, "Their version of Sailor Pluto is especially annoying..." Then she yelped as she was glomped from behind.

"Don't be so mean, Set-chan," a woman in Sailor Pluto garb scolded.

Juri blinked, "HAYATE YAGAMI?!"

Hayate grinned, then teleported away.

Ryouko had to laugh at Setsuna's dumbfounded look. She didn't have THAT much time to enjoy it, though. Things were jumping tonight, even with Minagi to help out some.

"Think we'll run out of booze?" Minagi wondered as she poured a beer.

"Wouldn't think so," Ryouko noted, but she was keeping a eye on the beer kegs and bottles of fine liquors. "Normally May and Nabiki get the orders right, but we did just recently effectively double the bar's size..." she mused.

Minagi smoothly passed the beer along, then mixed another drink. "And if we DO run out?" she asked her curiously.

"Tell Juri as soon as it looks like we're getting critically low and have her declare 'last call' for drinks," Ryouko said with a shrug. "Won't make the customers happy, but you gotta do what you gotta do," she added.

"Right," Minagi agreed.

Not far from the bartenders Riko Hakozaki looked around in wonder. "I'm CERTAIN there's never been a gay bar in town," the literature teacher noted, frowning.

Miyako Kodama, Rika's girlfriend and owner of a local coffee shop, was taking in the sights with interest. "I don't care," she said, "it's nice to have someplace we can go out together."

"True," Riko took her hand and squeezed it gently.

"IN fact, we could do some dancing later," Miyako added warmly.

A cute blush colored Riko's cheeks. "I'd like that," she admitted.

Honey the Hugger and Haruka are from the manga Don't Meddle with My Daughter, Spider Gwen and Black Cat are from the Spider Gwen comics and the regular Spider-man series, Sailor Nanoha and friends are from a Nanoha/Sailor Moon fusion I'm planning and Riko and Miyako are from Bloom Into You.

Notes: I should warn the readers that Don't Meddle with My Daughter is a VERY heterosexual series and has explicit sex. So if that's not your thing, skip it. SAYING that, Clara and Mei are canon in a one sided way, and Clara herself is MAYBE not straight.

I want to do a crossover eventually where Nanoha-Moon meets canon Sailor Moon. If only because the Mini-Moons meeting would be funny.

Vivio flexed her arm muscles. "I punch things until they break!"

"People too." Vivio added cheerfully.
