"Welcome to the caverns, folks." An announcer said over an intercom in a network of caves that was a popular tourist destination in Japan. "As you enter the cave, please stay with your tour guide and do not wander off. Parts of the cave are still undeveloped, and we don't want to lose anyone."

Certain people ignored the signs and warnings and went into restricted zones. Those people being the Hybro Gang. The trio and Louisa were wandering through one of the caves when a drop of water fell from a stalactite and landed on Cursula's neck. "Eaugh!" She jumped at the cold contact and accidentally smashed her face into another stalactite and fell to the floor. "Oh, Dr.N better be right about a Dinosaur being in this cave!" She said angrily.

"Well, how many times has he been wrong?" Slander asked.

"I can't count that high." Cursula told him, either implying she can't count period as Dr.N has yet to be wrong, or there have been several false alarms we don't know of. "But, at least none of those annoying tourists followed us into this area."

"At last, I'm finally back to being on missions!" Louisa said. "And this seems like a good place to start searching without those nosy tourists."

"I wonder why? This is the nicest part of the cave." Tred said as he leaned on a pillar. His answer came when the pillar cracked and broke, causing a ton of rocks to fall on the quartet, burying them in a huge pile.

"Lucky for you, Tred, I have one hand free to pummel you with!" Cursula yelled at the short man as she shook her free arm around, which was all she had unburied.

"Yeah, lucky me." Tred said fearfully in reply, completely buried in rubble alongside Slander.

"YOU IMBECILE!" Louisa cried. "I spent six chapters trapped in my room and now I come out and get buried in rocks! When I get out of here, I'm gonna spank you three so much, you'll be crying uncle!"

While they were all stuck, none of them noticed a capsule roll down the rock pile.

(Intro Theme)

At a middle school, a large group of students were chatting amongst themselves, waiting outside for the buses to arrive for a field trip. Among them was the D-Team, minus Max, who was running late. At the end of another line was a brown-haired girl who sighed in depression, not conversing with anyone. "Max is gonna miss the bus." Zoe said to Rex.

"I know. He forgot his Dino Holder again." He told her.

"Well, at least his head is probably still attached." Zoe joked.

"Yep, that's Max." Rex said with a smirk.

"He'll be here soon." Rhysa said. "If I know Max, he's probably speeding here."

"I'm here!" Speak of the devil, Max slid into view and quickly ran to where his friends were standing. "I made it!"

"That was pretty quick." Rex told him.

"Yeah, I took a shortcut through the library." Max panted. "Not allowed back in there for a while, but it's not like I used it for anything anyway."

"Well you're here now." Rhysa said.

"Is your Dino Holder on silent mode?" Zoe whispered to him.

"Oh, thanks for reminding me." Max said as he put it in silent mode. "Okay, all set. Let's go already. Who are we waiting for?" He asked anxiously.

"Well, listen to you. You're a good one to talk." Zoe told him while laughing.

"No kidding." Rex sighed.

"You can say that again you two." Rhysa smiled.

"I'm here! Everybody ready?" They all turned to see an older woman in a pink dress with pigtails stop in front of the crowd like Max did. "Hello! Nice to see you. I'm Michelle; Science Field Trip Leader Extraordinaire!" Everyone immediately groaned once she started speaking. Michelle was widely disliked by almost everyone in the school, even the teachers, and she is completely oblivious to it. "So, is everyone else as excited to go on their field trip as I am? I thought I'd never get to sleep. Then I did, then my alarm went off and I was like 'no way!' It was like Christmas, except there was no snow, or tree, or presents..."

"Why'd we have to get stuck with her?" Rex groaned, shaking his head in annoyance.

"I don't know. I kinda like her." Max said as he rested his head on his arms and watched her in amusement.

"I hope she calms down a little bit." Rex said.

"She's just excited about the field trip." Zoe told him.

"So, am I too. But you don't see me dancing around like that." The blonde told her as he watched Michelle doing just that.

"I would pay to see that." Max joked before saying. "Hate to tell you, but she's always like this." He told Rex, having had her on field trips before, making the blonde groan again.

"Oh this is so immature of a school teacher." Rhysa groaned. "Why can't we ever get stuck with someone who's not so perky?"

"All right, now that everyone's here and we're all warmed up, let's get on the buses and hit the road!" Michelle told the class as then motioned for them to start moving.

"I just hope she's not the driver." Rex commented.

"Me too, Rex or I'll barf." Rhysa said.

Meanwhile, the Hybro Gang were still buried in the rocks, but had managed to get their heads out to breathe. "I'm hungry." Tred said weakly, his cheek bones starting to show.

"I need food." Louisa moaned, as she and her Hybrids were weaker than Tred.

"Can anyone tell me how long we've been buried under these rocks?" Cursula asked, just as weak as Tred.

"I'd check my watch and tell you, but I seem to be buried in rocks." Slander replied sarcastically, sounding only slightly less weak than his teammates.

"Ah! You know what sounds good? Chowder, or maybe ribs, but the white is nice too." Cursula said before licking her lips.

"Looks like she's going into la la land. Hurry up and say it." Slander whispered to Tred.

Tred paled even more at what he was implying. "I'm not so sure about this, Slander." He said with wide eyes.

"She's starting to lose it. Say it before it's too late. This is our only hope." Slander reminded him.

"Yeah, if you don't then I'll have you as my meal!" White Slash said.

"Hnnnngh." Tred weighed his options before gulping nervously. "Cursula, Slander just said something about an...old lady!"

Cursula heard those words and immediately started to boil. Louisa, Slander and Tred paled blue as steam came out of her nose and her face turned into one like a literal red Bull. "How dare either one of you even utter those words." While she was boiling up, she started shaking the whole pile. In doing so, she caused the capsule to fall and open up. A small speck of dirt landed on the cards and activated the Dinosaur. "I'll crush you!" Cursula screamed as she erupted in rage, sending rocks hurling into the air. "Let me hear you say that again, Tred." Cursula threatened as she started strangling him, her face and teeth looking like a Carnivore out for blood. "You think I'm old, don't you? I know you and Slander talk about me behind my back."

"Well, what'd you know, Cursula? You managed to get us all free from the rock pile." Slander said, hoping to shift topics quickly before he was strangled too.

"Yeah, your rage was enough to free us all." Horn Plate said.

"Huh?" Cursula asked as she let go of Tred. "I did? Oh, what'd you know?" It was then they all heard a low rumble. "Oh, I'm too weak and hungry to clobber you." She told them. "Let's go find some food before Tred starts looking like a doughnut."

"Mmm, doughnuts." Slander and Tred said.

"Clubbering can wait, right now we need to do what Predators do and hunt some food." Louisa said.

"Yum, food." Her Hybrids said.

They then heard another rumble. "Wow, and I thought my stomach was loud." Cursula said. "Which one of your bellies is rumbling like a broken down bulldozer?"

"It wasn't me." Tred told her.

"Me neither." Slander said.

"Don't look at me." Louisa said.

"Oh, sure. Make it look like I'm the one with no manners." Cursula said sarcastically. The rumbling was actually that of the Dinosaur before it went deeper into the cave.

Back at the school, all the kids started getting onto the buses. Zoe was about to get on hers when Michelle stopped her. "Are you Zoe?" She asked the pinkette.

"I am." She answered.

"Hi there. Could you do me a favor and sit next to the new girl Amy on the bus?" The teacher asked, showing Zoe a picture of said new girl. "Try to make her feel welcome."

"Oh, alright then." Once onboard, Zoe looked around for Amy. She found her looking outside the window, depressed. She had brown hair, a black shirt, and blue overalls. "Hi, are you Amy?" Zoe asked as she sat down next to her.

"Uh." She started, but stopped as she started to get embarrassed. "Yeah, that's me." She answered quietly.

Zoe noted how quiet she was. "She's almost like Paris when we first meet." She thought, remembering their meeting after they got back from Egypt.

Zoe was sitting in her room with her Dino Holder out. She swiped the card and called out a miniature version of Paris. The Parasaurolophus looked around at her new surroundings. "Where am I?" She asked herself.

"This is my room." Zoe answered, making the dinosaur jump and hide under a pile of clothes she was meaning to put into the laundry basket. "Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you."

"It's...fine." Paris said as she slowly crawled out. "Zoe, right?"

"Yeah." The pinkeye nodded in confirmation. She couldn't help but smile at how cute Paris was acting, even if it was unintentional.

"And you named me Paris?" The Parasaurolophus recalled what name Zoe gave her.

"Is there a problem with that name? I could change it if you like." Zoe said, worried her name might have upset Paris by possibly coming off as offensive.

"I like it. It's just...weird having a name now." Paris said while kicking the floor softly with her left foreleg.

"Well, I expect a lot of things are going to be different now that you're living here." Zoe said. "As in the present day, not just my room." She quickly clarified.

"How much has changed?" Paris asked, shaking with fear at the possibilities.

"Nothing that I won't help you through." Zoe said as she gave Paris a comforting hug. "We're partners now, and we, along with Spiny, stick together."

As the bus drove along the road, Michelle decided to take this time to have some beauty sleep, and was making everyone hate her with her snoring.

Zoe ignored the snoring and tried to start a conversation to help know Amy better. This was a tactic she used with Paris to befriend her. "Field trips are fun, huh?" She said to Amy.

"What?" Amy asked as she looked away from the window.

"You know, just getting out of the classroom. What trips are your favourite?" Zoe asked. "I like the museums, but places like caves I like those the best."

"Yeah. I guess." Amy said quietly. "They're okay."

"OK, we're making progress." Zoe thought. "Today's trip should be fun." She said to Amy.

"Yeah." Amy agreed, a small smile forming on her face, though it was clear it was either forced or a sad one. Zoe sighed as she sat down against her seat. She just needed to figure out what to say next.

"Caves are gross." One of the girls behind them said. "This one is probably filled with lots of slimy Lizards, too." She said, making the person sitting next to her gag.

"Eww! I hope not." The other girl said.

Amy heard the word 'Lizards' and immediately perked up happily. "Aah!"

"Are you okay?" Zoe asked, confused with the sudden shift in attitude, but not against it.

"I heard Lizards." Amy told her as she sat back down.

"Oh, do you like Lizards, Amy?" Zoe asked her.

"Yeah, a lot." Amy replied.

"I like Lizards, too." Zoe told her.

"No, do you really?" Amy asked with surprise to find out Zoe actually did have something in common with her.

"Absolutely. I think they're super cute. Do you have one for a pet or anything?" She asked the brunette.

Amy looked down as her mood changed back to depressed. "No, not anymore."

"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that." Zoe said as she caught the implication. "Damn it, Zoe! You were making progress here!" She looked and saw Amy was looking depressed again. "Are you feeling okay? Do you want me to get Michelle?"

"No, I'm alright." Amy replied sadly, which Zoe did not buy in the slightest. But she didn't want to force Amy to talk about it.

Over on his seat, Rex listened in on the whole conversation. He didn't know why, but he felt he and Amy had something in common. So did Rhysa, she had been sitting in front of Amy and she didn't know why but she had a sixth sense feeling that she and Amy had something in common too.

After a while, the buses arrived at the caves and the group got off. "Ta-da!" Michelle cheered. "So, here we are at the cave entrance, kids. Now, remember, rule number one is that spelunkers always stay together. I say spelunkers because that's what cave explorers are called, but mostly I just like the word. It always makes me giggle a little bit." She said before giggling. "Let's go! Left! Right! Left! Right!" She said as the class walked into the caves. Max just chuckled at her antics while Rex and Zoe tuned her out. Rhysa on the other hand looked back at Amy who just walked quietly in the back.

Once inside the caves, Michelle decided to call out. "Hello!" And listen to the echo bounce of the walls. "Just listen to those echoes bouncing off the walls. It makes my voice sound even better than it does in the shower." She said before starting to sing and dance quirkily. "Do! Re! Mi! Fa! So! La! Ti! Do! Haha, I sounded just like a rock star. Don't you think, everyone?"

Rhysa, Zoe and Rex ignored her while they watched Amy, still looking depressed in the back. "Why is she so sad?" Rex asked.

"I'm not sure." Zoe answered. "On the bus, we started talking about Lizards, and then she got real quiet when I asked if she had one."

"Maybe something happened to her pet Lizard and she doesn't want to talk about it." Rhysa said quietly, so Amy didn't hear her.

"It's hard being the new kid at school." Max said from ahead of them. "Plus, she seems really shy."

"Yeah." Zoe agreed. "I think I know her problem, I just don't know what to say."

"And now, kids, time for the most exciting part of our adventure." Michelle said as she stopped in a clearing. "The highlight of all field trips, my favourite part of the day, lunch!"

Deeper in the caves, the Hybro Gang continued on their search for food. They were so hungry, they were about to eat the clothes they had on. Cursula sniffed the air and picked up the sense of food. "I think I smell a mirage." She told the others.

"My legs can't go on anymore!" Screecher and Thudder whined.

"Well I'm so hungry, I could eat an entire forest." Horn Plate groaned.

"Me too, if we could find one." Tregear sighed.

"That's funny." Atrocious said, sniffing the air. "I smell food but I don't see food."

"It must be a mirage from our hunger tricking us." White Slash said.

Tred and Slander gave it a sniff as well and picked up the same scent, which meant one thing. "It's not a mirage! There's definitely food over there!" Tred said as he pointed in the direction of the smell. "Let's go!" The quartet said as they made a break for it.

"FOOD! Here we come!" The Hybrids cheered.

Back with the class, they all spread their blankets out and started bringing out their lunches. "I love lunch!" Max said as she stuffed a rice ball into his mouth. Or maybe it was a jelly-filled doughnut.

As Zoe got hers out, she noticed Amy getting her blanket ready on the corner. "Alone again." Amy sighed as she got her lunch.

"Amy?" She looked up and saw Zoe walking towards her. "Hey, do you wanna come eat with us?" She asked, pointing to where she and her friends were sitting.

Amy smiled, but not because of the request. It was instead when she saw a small, red Lizard run across the floor. "Hi, little guy." She said as she went up to him. The Lizard saw her and ran away in fear. "Hey, wait."

"Amy, don't go down there!" Zoe said as she ran after Amy into one of the restricted zones, her friends watched in confusion but decided to not get involved, but Rhysa decided to follow them. "It could be dangerous."

"Come back." Amy said to the Lizard as she tried to scoop it up.

"Amy, what are you doing?" Zoe asked as they both came to a stop.

"Yeah it's not safe to be in these restricted zones." Rhysa said, as she caught up to them.

"Oh, I was after that." She said, pointing to the Lizard.

"The Lizard?" Zoe asked. "Why?"

"I guess it was because it kind of reminded me of Hana." Amy admitted sadly as she got out her phone and showed Rhysa and Zoe a picture. "Hana was my pet Iguana. He was very old, and we had to put him down when we moved."

"Oh I'm so sorry for your loss." Rhysa said, knowing that those kinds of things happen sometimes whenever an Animal's been on a killing spree, when they're too old to live any longer or when they've gotten too hurt for the right medical treatment.

"That's so sad." Zoe said. Working at an Animal hospital, the chance of seeing an Animal get euthanized was always possible. She couldn't even think about how'd she feel if she had to do it to Paris or Spiny.

The moment was cut short when Michelle gave out a scream. "That didn't sound good." Zoe said. "Let's go see what's up."

"Come on!" Rhysa said.

Both of them started to head back, but Amy stopped when she saw the Lizard crawl out of its hiding place. "So, there you are." She said as it started crawling away. "Wait, come back." She said as she followed it deeper into the restricted zone.

The commotion seemed to be Cursula and Michelle fighting over the lunch Michelle brought. "Let go of my lunch, whoever you are!" Michelle demanded.

"Tell her who we are, boys and girl." Cursula told them as they both struck a pose

"Here to arrange." Slander started.

"Inevitable strand." Louisa continued.

"Assistful mang." Tred finished.

"The Hybro Gang!" Cursula added, all striking a pose that had Cursula let go of the box for a second, but Michelle didn't take the opening.

"Well, is that so?" Michelle asked, unimpressed by their display. "You're no match for Michelle; Science Field Trip Leader of Doom! And super perky." She added with her own 'cute' pose.

"I like her." Tred said, which Cursula responded by kicking him in the groyne with her heel.

"You know, perky is annoying." Cursula told her. "And you could stop trying to hide your age with all that makeup and young clothing, old lady."

"Old lady?" Michelle gasped at the insult before getting an angry smile. "You're so old, you got Abe Lincoln's picture in your yearbook. How'd you like that?" She mocked.

Cursula saw where this was going and shot back. "Oh, is that so? Well, you're so old you remember when the Dead Sea was just getting sick." She smiled victoriously

"Oooh." Everyone said in response to that. Maybe it was 'cause of their dislike of Michelle speaking, but it was clear to them who was winning this old off.

"Ha, ha, ha! You're so old, I heard you were selling hotdogs at Custard's last stand." Michelle said in return with a smile, believing she had her that time.

Michelle was wrong. "Well, you're so old the key to Ben Franklin's kite was to your apartment." Cursula shot back with an irritated look on her face.

As the two continued spewing insults, Max went up front to see what the commotion was. "Hey, are you on this field trip too, old lady?" He asked.

"I am not old, and quit calling me that!" They both yelled at him. "Oh, It's you." Cursula said as she recognised him.

"So, you know who this despicable woman is, Max?" Michelle asked.

Max scratched his head. This wasn't exactly an easy question to answer without giving away too much. Thankfully, he didn't have to. "Mighty big talk for such a perky, little girl." Cursula said as they began fighting over the lunch again. "Grrr!"

"Max, look." Rex said as he pointed to their Dino Holders inside their backpacks, which started beeping.

Max ran over and saw the same thing. "The Dino Holder." He said, slightly surprised there was another active Dinosaur now of all times. In hindsight he should have expected that. Why else were the Hybro Gang here?

"Give me back my lunch back, and go back to where you came from." Michelle demanded as she pulled the box towards her with all her might.

"Forget it!" Cursula said as she used her elbow to shove her away. That managed to do the trick as Michelle lost the grip and Cursula was able to swipe the lunch away. "Ha, ha! We'll take it to go if you don't mind." She mocked as they ran away into the darkness of the cave.

"Thanks for the lunch!" Louisa's Hybrids called, running away with food the other students didn't eat or just left because they didn't like it. "We'll be on our way now!"

"Come back here!" Michelle ordered as she started to go after them, but tripped on her outfit. "No! My delicious lunch! How could you do this to me?!" She cried waterfalls as they vanished from sight.

"What's going on?" Zoe asked once she and Rhysa rejoined the group.

"And was that the Hybro Gang I heard earlier?" Rhysa asked.

"According to this, there's a Dinosaur right near us." Max told her quietly.

"Huh?" Zoe gasped when she heard that.

"Why am I not surprised?" Rhysa asked.

"So, what do we do?" Rex asked.

"What we always do. We have to go and find it." Max told him. Rex, Zoe and Rhysa nodded.

"Waaah! They took my lunch!" Michelle continued to cry. She looked up for a bit and noticed the D-Team heading towards the restricted zone. "Hey, where do you four think you're going?" She yelled at them. The quartet tensed when they realised they were caught. "We need to stick together more than ever now with the sandwich stealers on the loose." She told them.

"Yes, that's clearly the most important reason to stick together." Rex grumbled.

"Eh, we'll be alright." Max answered sheepishly.

"Hey, you guys, where did Amy go?" Michelle then asked, looking around and noticing she was missing.

"What?" Zoe gasped again. She looked around and saw no sign of the brunette. "She's gone!"

"I bet she went after that Lizard in the restricted zone!" Rhysa gasped. "We've gotta find her!"

With Amy, she managed to catch the little Lizard and was holding it in her hands. "Hahaha. It's ok, I won't hurt you." She assured the little Reptile. She then heard the sound of heavy footsteps. Looking up she saw an Ankylosaur with a light brown body mixed with darker brown, and yellow/tan spikes. Most of them were small little bumps, but the ones in the front of the back and shoulders were very large and sharp. The club tail was a dark brown, with two unfinished circles of orange facing opposite directions from each other on each side. This Dinosaur was a Euoplocephalus.

Amy backed away and fell onto the ground in fear as she stared at the Dinosaur in front of her. In doing so, she let go of the Lizard, who crawled away to get to safety, when the Euoplocephalus stopped looking at Amy and decided to examine it instead. Amy noticed this and quickly got onto her feet before stepping in front of the Ankylosaur. "Leave him alone!" She told her.

The Euoplocephalus shook her head before licking Amy's face. "Hahahaha." Amy giggled at the touch before the Euoplocephalus nuzzled her. "That kind of tickles." She told the Dinosaur before she slowly hugged her back and felt her smooth, scaly skin. "So, hey, are you all alone here by yourself? Just like me?" She asked the Dinosaur. The Euoplocephalus responded with her eyes slightly closing, like she was sad about something. That was all Amy needed to know. "It's no fun being alone." The brunette said as she hugged the Euoplocephalus again. What started was an understanding between the two.

"Are you hungry?" Amy asked as she got out her lunch. "I still have my whole lunch here. Try it, see if you like it." She said as she handed out a piece of lettuce. The Euoplocephalus examined the food carefully before taking the gift. "What'd you think?" Amy asked. The Euoplocephalus gave out a roar of thanks. "You like it, that's good. Here, take the rest of it." Amy handed her the rest of the box.

"Amy? Where are you?" The Euoplocephalus perked up when she heard the sounds of Amy's classmates. She backed away slowly in fear.

With the class, who were now all in the restricted zone, everyone was calling out for Amy while Michelle looked around frantically for her. "Those evil lunch looters got Amy, I just know it." Michelle told herself. "They came for grub, and they got that poor girl." She said before she started to cry like a little kid. "What'd I do now!?"

"Now's our chance." Max whispered to his teammates.

"Right." Zoe nodded before they slipped away unnoticed.

"Let's go." Rhysa said.

Back with Amy, she noticed the Euoplocephalus backing away. "You want to stay away from people, don't you?" She asked the Euoplocephalus. The Euoplocephalus roared softly in agreement. Amy looked around before finding a path for them to take. "Okay, follow me." She said as she put down her lunch, put her bag back on her back and ran through a tunnel, with the Euoplocephalus following.

"All right, gather around. It's lunchtime!" Cursula beamed as she undid the ribbon that held the cloth covering their food.

"I bet it's a cheeseburger, with french fries and pickles." Slander assumed.

"I'll betcha it's pizza with pepperoni, pineapple and mushrooms!" Louisa said, as her Hybrids started scoffing the food they 'stole' from the other students.

"I hope it's a big fat steak!" Tred drooled. The ribbon became undone and they were able to see what was inside. They looked and gasped when they saw it was nothing but rice with a few cookies on top.

"Is she kidding? Just rice?" Slander asked disappointingly.

"No curry!" Louisa moaned, her expectations up in smoke.

"Well, there's cookies for dessert." Tred pointed out. "I'll eat it."

"Well, if we're hungry enough, we could pretend it's cheeseburgers." Cursula suggested.

"Or anything we'd want." Louisa added.

"Well, I'm hungry enough." Slander said before they all took a box and started shoving the food in their mouths with the chopsticks provided,

"Me, too!" Cursula said as she stuffed her face. While they ate, there was a call on the Hybro Scanner. "Huh? Oh, what now?" Cursula asked as she answered it.

"What's going on there? You've been in that cave for two days, where's my Dinosaur?" Dr.N asked from the other side.

"If I knew, I'd probably barbecue it." Cursula said with annoyance before she hung up and continued eating. On the other side, Dr.N just stared at the screen before growling in anger.

Once they were away from the group, the D-Team called out their Dinosaurs while Max turned on his visors so they had some light. "Where are we?" Terry asked as he looked at the surroundings.

"We're in a cave." Tracker observed their surroundings.

"Long story short, there's a Dinosaur in the cave and my new friend is missing." Zoe told them

"Well then, let's get going." Chomp said without hesitation as the group ran down the cave.

"This is the direction Amy went. I hope she didn't run into the Dinosaur." Zoe said.

"The signal's coming from right up ahead." Max told her, not really helping the pinkette's worries.

"I hope it's a Herbivore and not a Meat Eater." Rhysa said. "Or Amy's in big trouble."

"Don't worry Rhysa, we'll find her!" Dread said, reassuring his blondette partner.

With Amy, she and the Euoplocephalus found a small pond in the cave. The Euoplocephalus took a drink from it while Amy admired the light coming off from it. "Wow, it's beautiful."

The Euoplocephalus finished her drink and raised her head. When she did, she accidentally banged it against the ceiling. "Oh, you poor thing!" Amy said as she hugged the Euoplocephalus. "I bet that really hurt your head. Heal!" She chanted. The Euoplocephalus just looked at her with no idea what she just did. "I know, that didn't help much, did it?" The Euoplocephalus playfully nuzzled her in agreement.

Amy giggled before looking at the Euoplocephalus' eyes and getting depressed again. "Gentle eyes. My best friend Hana had eyes just like yours." She said before starting to cry. The Euoplocephalus watched her sadly before nuzzling her back in comfort.

Meanwhile, the Hybro Gang had managed to finish their entire lunch. Their scrawny bodies were back to full health, or at least normal Heath for them. "I'm alive again!" Cursula beamed.

"Boy, that was some good eats!" White Slash said, as she and the other Hybrids were fully restored, or at least normal restored for them.

"That was the best imaginary cheeseburger I never had." Slander said.

"And the little cookies were a perfect end." Tred said as he rubbed his bloated belly.

"I'm so happy, I think I'll forget about clubbering you three." Louisa sighed.

It was then the Hybro Scanner started to go off again. "Hmm? Oh, yeah." Cursula said as she answered.

"Cursula!" Dr.N screamed from the other side, making her wince in response. "How dare you hang up on me! I sent you there on an important mission!"

"We're fully aware of that, Doctor." Cursula told him, putting on a cute face. "But it's hard to do evil on an empty stomach."

"You know what's going to be even harder?" Dr.N asked her. "When I replace you four Slugs with Droids!" He told them, making the team gasp. "Now go get that Dinosaur, or that cave will be your final resting place!"

"Hybro Gang out!" They saluted.

"It's like a maze in here." Rex said as he looked around.

"I know, how are we supposed to know which way to go?" Tank asked, keeping Spiny from walking into pillars while he was distracted by the ceiling and its stalactites.

"I don't know what she smells like, so I got nothing." Terry said. "I suggest we just pick one path."

"But we must pick wisely." Giganto said. "If we pick the wrong one, we'll end up in either a dead end or in another split in the tunnels."

"I choose instinct!" Spiny said before jumping down a path.

The rest of the team went after him and found themselves sliding down a slope. "Waaaaoooh!"

"Everyone, put your hands in the air." Spiny said gleefully as he raised his, clearly being the only one enjoying this.

The end of the slope was conveniently where Amy and the Euoplocephalus were. "So much for your instinct, Spiny." Chomp said from atop the Spinosaurus.

"What're you talking about? I found both of them." Spiny pointed to where Amy and the Euoplocephalus were sleeping.

"Hey you did!" Stiggy said. "Your instinct was right, Spiny!"

"Guys the Dinosaur and Amy are here!" Stigga said.

Both of them woke up when they heard the team land. "Oh, hi, Zoe." Amy said as they both got up.

"Amy, look out!" Zoe exclaimed and was quickly standing up when she saw the Euoplocephalus get up.

"Whoa! Another Saichania!" Spiny said in shock as the rest of the D-Team got onto their feet. "No wait, that's not a Saichania, maybe it's a Critchosaurus, no, no, no, a Euoplocephalus."

"No, you idiot. That's a Euoplocephalus." Tank told him before whacking him on the head again.

"Amy, you need to get away from that Dinosaur! It's dangerous!" Zoe told Amy.

"Don't worry about that. She wouldn't hurt me." Amy said as she gave the Euoplocephalus another hug. "You see? She and I are really good friends."

"Wow, you are?" Zoe said in astonishment.

"What now?" Rex whispered Max.

"I guess we just explain everything to her." Max answered. "Would help avoid a fight."

"Yeah and look at them, they've become really great friends." Rhysa whispered. "I'd hate to see them be apart from one another."

"Amy, I think we should get back to the group." Zoe said.

"But Hanna's all alone here. I can't just abandon her." Amy told her.

"Amy." Zoe said, unsure what to say next.

Before anything else could be said, the Hybro Gang arrived. "Well, just look at what we have here." Cursula said smugly as they looked down at their target. "How convenient."

"Huh?" Amy asked when she saw the newcomers.

"It's the old lady." Spiny said.

"Will you quit calling me that?!" Cursula screamed at him. "I'd make you pay for it, but I've got work to do!"

"AND NOW, TYRANNOSAURUS, GO! SPECTRAL ARMOUR ACTIVATE!"

"Whoa! No way!" Amy gasped when she saw Gigas land in front of her and Hanna. Hanna roared in response to the new arrival. She wasn't going to let him hurt her friend.

"Give up Euoplocephalus!" Gigas threatened. "Or the little girl gets to be my lunch!"

But Gigas' threat went unheard as Hanna started glowing too, but purple as in a dimension of earth a circle of earth appeared around the Euoplocephalus as a bright purple circle appeared on her forehead, earth then came bursting out of her sides as one purple circle appeared on either side of her, then the one on her forehead shone brightly as shoulder blade purple coloured armour on her shoulders on each side, as more armour appeared on her sides working its way down from her front to her tail, finally armour appeared on her head like a helmet, the Euoplocephalus roared at the sky as she reared up on her hind legs and slammed them against the ground and posed as earth corroded all around the dimension.

"Hanna?" Amy gasped, seeing her friend with armour on just like a knight in mediaeval times.

The cave lit up as the colours of a Battlefield painted the rocks and walls. "Amy, you're too close to her!" Zoe warned, knowing Amy could get seriously hurt once the battle started.

But Amy still wouldn't leave Hanna. "But I wanna-"

"Hey, what's going on? What are you kids doing down there?" Amy was interrupted by Michelle and the rest of the class showing up.

"Rats, the whole class is here, now." Max hissed. To make matters worse, the battle had begun.

Gigas bit onto Hanna's back, which she responded by swinging her tail at him. Gigas backed off before he was tackled by the Euoplocephalus. "Man, I never thought we'd get to see a Tyrannosaurus vs an Ankylosaur." Spiny said as he watched the fight, not caring about what was also going on.

"Not really helping, Spiny." Paris told him.

"Since when does he help with anything?" Tank grumbled in response.

"Oh, this is not good. This is just not a positive teaching situation at all." Michelle thought aloud. "Wait, just think. I'm the teacher here. This is why I get paid the small bucks." She then started to try and teach the kids something out of this while Gigas and Hanna still fought, the Euoplocephalus using her tail to taunt the Tyrannosaurus into charging again.

"Now remember your studies, children. If George Washington were here, he'd cut down the cherry tree and- no, that doesn't make any sense. What about Albert Einstein? We can certainly all learn from that guy. Maybe not in this situation. Well, if Davy Croc had shown up, he'd lasso those critters and- come on, kids! Climb up here where it's safe! We'll help you out!" Michelle told them. Right after that, some rocks started to fall on top of them. "Aah! You're on your own!" She told them as she and the class ran away.

"Worst leader ever." Ace said as he saw them just abandon their friends to their deaths, even if there were falling rocks. Blaze would love to hear about this.

Back with the fight, Hanna continued on blocking Gigas' attack with her armor and knocking him around the cave with her tail. Every time he hit the floor, rocks would start falling from the ceiling. Hanna saw that Amy and her friends were in danger from the rocks, desperately trying to shield themselves every time some rocks would fall. The Euoplocephalus decided to use her Move Card to end this quickly.

She glowed purple before what looked like purple crystals formed the end of her tail and one started to extend until it was twice the length. It looked like her tail had a purple lightsaber attached to it.

Gigas backed away when he saw the attack. Hanna swung her tail at him and the attack sliced him right across the middle. As he collapsed in pain, the pillar behind him was sliced in half, and the top half started sliding off the bottom half. "Hey, what was that move?" Tred asked.

"That Dinosaur used Quake Saber." Slander answered.

"That Dinosaur's a Euoplocephalus!" Louisa said.

"I want to see a powerful counterattack, Gigas, or else none of us are getting out of this cave!" Cursula told him through the Scanner.

"Don't need to tell me twice!" Gigas said before he started hitting the ceiling with his tail, causing large rocks to fall.

"AMY LOOKOUT!" Rhysa cried, seeing where most of the rocks were falling.

"Aaah!" Amy screamed as most of those rocks were falling on top of her. She covered herself and waited for the end. While she heard the round of rocks hitting the ground, she didn't feel it. Opening her eyes, she saw Hanna covering her with her body. "Oh, you're protecting me, aren't you?" The Euoplocephalus looked down to make sure Amy was safe and gave a small roar in response.

"Not for long! Magma Blaster!" Cursula said as she activated the move.

Fire gathered in Gigas' mouth while Hanna got another Quake Saber ready. Gigas fired the attack and Hanna tried to block it by using the Quake Saber as a deflector. But it was too powerful and she was knocked back. Gigas went in once the move was finished and knocked her away again with his head, causing Amy to be knocked back as well when Hanna rolled across the floor. "Aaah!"

"No!" Rhysa yelled as she leapt in to catch Amy, moving her out of the way before she was crushed by Hanna.

"Awesome, Rhysa. Is she alright?" Zoe asked.

The blonde checked the unconscious girl in her arms. "Yeah, she's fine. It looks like she just fainted."

Hanna heard this and was relieved to hear that she didn't accidentally kill her new friend. But she was distracted long enough for Gigas to continuously hit her against the wall with his head, where she had no space to fight back. He continued on doing so until she was defeated. "Hey, I won for once." He said while backing up.

"We did it!" Cursula cheered as the quartet made a break for it. "Now let's hurry up and grab that Card."

"Sorry, you're too slow." Max mocked as he picked them both up as well as the Element Booster.

"Hey! We earned that card fair and square!" Cursula told him as they came to a halt.

"You don't play fair with us, we don't play fair with you. As they say, karma's a bitch like that." Ace told her.

"I don't know why you didn't grab the cards, or at least secure their capture?" Spiny asked Gigas. "I mean, if that was me I would have done it."

"Spiny has a point." Brontina said. "I mean you didn't even put your foot on the Cards to secure them until your team got there."

"Gigas, what the hell?!" Cursula asked him in frustration, realising the Spinosaurus had a point.

"I thought you guys had it!" Gigas told them.

"That's a laugh. And now, you're all gonna pay for what you did to Amy." Zoe said as she got out her Dino Holder.

"DINO SLASH! PARASAUROLOPHUS, BLOOM! ELEMENT BOOSTER! DINO TECTOR ON!"

Paris landed in front of the Hybro Gang and roared in their faces. "Come on, Gigas! We need help!" Cursula told the Tyrannosaurus.

"I'm coming!" Gigas said as he charged towards Paris.

"Not today! Metal Wing!" Zoe activated the Move Card and the Pteranodons appeared. "Take those four out, Jettly!"

"Yes, ma'am!" Jettly saluted, at least without using his wings as that would make him fall, before the three of them dived towards the Hybro Gang.

"They're coming this way!" Cursula screamed before they all started making a run for it from the Flying Reptiles. The Pteranodons flew down lower before they started pecking the Hybro Gang with their beaks, causing them to crawl and roll across the cave floor in agony.

Back with Paris, Gigas continued on heading towards her. "What're you gonna do now?" He asked mockingly, though he was really shaking with fear inside. Living with Maximus, Horn Plate and the other female Hybrids had taught him how dangerous angry females can be.

"This!" Paris said before using her crest to create the loud noises her species is known for.

Both Gigas and the Hybro Gang yelled in pain as they tried to block out the noise, the quartet having the advantage of their hands to cover their ears, with little success. "Yaoooow! Ooow! Dah!"

The sound was so loud that it caused rocks on the ceiling to fall on top of Gigas. The Tyrannosaurus was continuously pelted by rocks until a large boulder landed on his head and defeated him. "That did it." Zoe smirked.

"My poor Gigas!" Cursula cried as she ran to get the card. As she did, she was continuously pecked by Jettly. To make matters worse, or even more hilarious, Max pulled out his camera and started taking funny pictures of her being attacked. "Leave me alone! Stop pecking!" Cursula told the Pteranodons as the four of them ran out of the caves once they grabbed Gigas' Card.

"We'll be back!" Louisa shouted as they left.

"We sure showed them, Boss!" Flyer laughed as they watched the quartet disappear.

"That we did." Jettly smirked.

Zoe recalled them and Paris while Amy was starting to wake up. "Hey, Amy?" Zoe asked as she walked over to where she was. Amy slowly opened her eyes. "You're safe. It's all over with."

Amy slowly sat up and looked around and noticed Hanna was missing. "Where's Hanna?" She asked.

"The Euoplocephalus is um-" Rhysa started.

"Don't worry. She's fine. I know for certain she wasn't hurt." Zoe assured her.

"That's good, but do you know where she went?" Amy asked.

"Well, she-" Zoe started. How was she supposed to explain their situation to her and not come off as cruel or harmful?

"She's going somewhere where she can be with her friends." Rhysa told her with a smile. "Somewhere where those fools won't be able to hurt her ever again."

"That's a relief, for her." Amy said sadly. Happy for Hanna, but still sad. "But that means I'm alone again." Tears were once again starting to form in her eyes.

Zoe saw this and took her hand in her own, making Amy look up at her smiling face. "Wrong, you have me and Rhysa."

"Really, Zoe?" Amy asked while a smile started to form. After getting a nod as an answer, tears of joy now started to come out. "I'm so glad!" She said before she, Rhysa and Zoe both shared a laugh and a hug. Even the guys eventually had to join in.

"Not going to tell them to kiss?" Tank whispered to Spiny.

"I can't do it every time two people look at each other." Spiny told her. "I need to be random with it."

"All right, listen up, everybody!" Michelle told the class once they were all outside of the cave. "Let's have a review of what we saw in the cave today. And what did we see: some rocks, some stalactites, then we had a little lunch, and that's about all. Everybody got it? Anything else you're thinking about shall be erased from your memory. Just like Michelle's job would be erased if anybody said anything about any Dinosaurs." She told them, not noticing the widened eyes at the idea. Too bad the board would never believe them. "Now who can tell me what a stalactite is?"

The D-Team and Amy were listening in the back. After rejoining the class, they agreed to keep what they saw a secret, and even decided to show something special to Amy later. While Michelle talked, the little red Lizard from earlier crawled out of Amy's overalls. "Hey, you found the Lizard." Zoe pointed out.

"Actually, it's him that found me." Amy said before they both shared a laugh.

After school, the team, along with Amy, met up with Reese, Diego, Alicia and Dora at the lab. There, they were able to explain everything to Amy about the Cards and where the Dinosaurs came from and disappeared to. This also allowed Amy to see that Hanna really was safe. And now the Euoplocephalus had a lot of other friends to play with while she lived in the sanctuary.

Right now, she was riding on Hanna while Reese was at her desk, giving her tips about how to treat her new pet Lizard. "Make sure it doesn't get too much ultraviolet light. Use a heater to keep it warm. And you should mist it with water every day." Reese explained to her before handing her the terrarium the Lizard was in.

Amy wrote down everything she was told. "Thanks for the advice, Reese."

"I should be thanking you." Reese said with a smile. "Even with Dr. Taylor's help, it's still very challenging to take care of everyone the D-Team rescues. Your volunteering will really help ease things for me and Rhysa's Cousins." Rhysa's Cousins nodding in agreement.

"I feel it's only fair after all they did for me." Amy told her. "I want to help you all protect the Dinosaurs as best as I can."

"So, Amy? Any ideas about what you are going to name him?" Hanna asked her new best friend.

"Yeah." Amy said as she examined the Lizard. "Say hello to Hana the Third."

Rhysa then pulled out her camera and started recording Hanna being introduced to the rest of the Herd.

"Now we get to add Hanna the Euoplocephalus to our Dinosaur Herd. And we also get to welcome our new friend Amy into the D-Team!"

A/N: So this episode happened.

I found it so cool how Amy made friends with the Euoplocephalus in the Anime and I found it not cool that she couldn't get to see her again.

But now Drew and I changed that and why are you wondering why I made Rhysa save Amy instead of Rex, well you'll have to wait for when I do a Christmas chapter during Season Two.

Also Anonymous I like how you make suggestions, but I think I'm just gonna stick to Creatures from the Mesazoic Era meaning only Dinosaurs, Pterosaurs and Marine Reptiles will show up. But here's a clue when I come to A Miner Disaster, I'm gonna be introducing some Giant Amphibians as well into the story as well as Giant Crocodilians.

Sorry to tell you that Creatures like the Mammoth, Sabre-Tooth Cat, Terror Birds and all the others aren't going to be in the story, but there's nothing stopping you from creating a story on when the D-Team does rescue Prehistoric Mammals.
