Rhino or Dino?

It was a normal day in the African savannah with the Animals minding their own business, all except for one. A young Rhino was running for its life from a dangerous Creature that separated him from its mother. Unfortunately, a net draped over the Rhino and stopped it in its tracks. A group of men looked over their prize with the leader, a man dressed like Spike who was wearing red shades, smirking victoriously at their catch. "A White Rhino Calf. Ha, ha, ha!"
Later that night, the men returned to the camp and caged the baby, ready to have it sold. "Another successful hunt!" The leader, known as Ungaro, declared as they tapped their drinks together in the form of a toast. As they had their dinner, one of the men pulled out a strange egg he found and examined it. "Huh? Where'd you get that?" Ungaro asked once he noticed the egg.
"I found it this afternoon, pretty close to where we bagged that final catch." The man explained. "Looks like an Ostrich Egg of some sort."
Before they could decide what to do with it, they heard the sound of rumbling approaching them. The mother Rhino had found them, and she was pissed.
The men screamed as the Rhino smashed through the tent. "Aah! Get out, get out!"
"Get out of here!" Their efforts were useless and they had no choice but to run and wait for the mother to leave. While the mother continued her attack, she stepped onto the egg and opened it up, revealing the Dinosaur Card and Move Card inside. She also knocked over a lamp and the static mixed with the cards. The tent started glowing and the mother made a retreat from the Dinosaur that appeared in the tent's place.
The Dinosaur looked a lot like Chomp: except it had green scales, with some small brown ones on the back, and a much larger, also more vertical oval shaped when compared to Chomp's rounder, frill that had red and yellow markings that formed a pattern of circles that made it look like it had giant, red eyes on both halves, a horizontal red stripe in the middle separating the two haves like a nose. This Dinosaur was a Torosaurus.
The Torosaurus roared to signal his entrance before hearing the sound of the baby Rhino. Walking over to the source, he saw the baby cowering in fear of his presence. "Ah!" Ungaro and his men gasped at what appeared next. With one swing of his horns, the Torosaurus ripped off the front of the cage, allowing the baby Rhino to escape and reunite with its mother. The mother Rhino with her baby by her side walked over to the Ceratopsian and she bowed her head to him as a way to say thank you for saving her son. Ungaro watched the scene unfold and came to the conclusion as to what this creature was. "Whoa! It's an enormous Rhinoceros!"

In Sanjo City, the D-Team were currently in the middle of a soccer game against another team. "Over here!" A kid yelled out to the one with the ball. "Pass it, come on!"
Zoe stood nervously as she was playing goalie, a position she didn't want to be. "How'd I ever let myself get talked into playing goalie." She moaned to herself in worry.
"Don't worry, Zoe." Rex assured her. "They'll never get past me on defence!" With that, he slid beneath the kid and took the ball from him, causing the kid to trip.
"Whoa! Oh, oh, oh!"
"Way to go, Rex!" Zoe cheered. "Now South East just needs to score a goal!"
Part of South East was thankfully Max. He got the ball and passed it to another teammate. "Max!" The teammate called out as he passed it back to him.
"Heah!" Max leapt into the air and hit the ball into the goal with his head, scoring them a goal.
"Goal!" Rhysa yelled from the sidelines.
"Nice shot, Max." Rex congratulated before realising Max's predicament. "Huh? Now that's what I call really throwing yourself into the game."
The blond was referring to the fact Max got stuck in the goal net after his move. "Yeah, yeah! Just help me out of here, will you?" Max chuckled with embarrassment. While this went on, the Dino Holders started to go off in their bags.

"Get in here! Another one of my Dinosaurs has been detected!" Dr.N yelled to the H-Team as they entered.
"Coming, Doctor!" The quartet said before entering the room and noticing the large object in the centre. "Huh?"
In the middle of the room was a large purple missile. "How do you like the new missile I made for you?" Dr.N asked the quartet. "This'll get you where you're going in no time!"
"But if we crash land, it's game over!" Slander reminded him.
"Would I do that to you?" Dr.N asked him. "OK, I might, but this has a sure-fire parachute that'll open up and bring you down gently." He assured them.
Cursula grabbed her teammates by the necks and pulled them in before patting them on the backs. "I want you to know I'm behind you on this mission all the way!"
"You mean you're not going?" Louisa, Slander and Tred asked.
"This mission is top priority!" Dr.N told her, not letting her weasel her way out of this mission.
"See? Someone has to stay here and monitor the flight." Cursula said.
Dr.N was having none of this. "Hybro Droids, help these four aboard!"
The Hybro Droids ran up to the quartet and picked them up before carrying them up stairs to the top of the missile. "Boarding. Boarding. Boarding."
"Huh? I'm not booked on this flight!" Cursula said.
"I didn't pack properly!" Slander added.
"Put me down right this instant you stupid robots!" Louisa protested.
"Will they serve lunch?" Tred asked.
The Droids reached the top of the missile and opened up the hatch, dropping the quartet inside. "Aah!"
Once they were inside, Rod and Laura looked at their grandfather. "Ignition!" Dr.N said as he pressed the activate button.
"Whatever happened to the countdown?!" Cursula asked as the missile flew towards Africa. "Whoa!"
"Happy landings!" Rod and Laura called out to them.
"Ha, ha, ha, ha!" Dr.N quietly laughed.
"Wow, that thing actually flew." Rod said in amazement.
"This one's your best invention ever, Grandpa." Laura commented him.
"I don't know. There've been so many." He said smugly.
"By the way, when did you program their parachute to open, Laura?" Rod asked as they left the room.
"Grandpa said he would program the parachute." Laura answered.
"Hmm?" Dr.N quickly remembered he did say that and forgot to do it. But he quickly shrugged it off. "Oh, well. They've survived worse."

After a bit, the missile crash-landed in the middle of the savannah, scaring nearby Animals away, and then the parachute opened up, covering the missile. To make matters worse, the side that landed on the ground was the cockpit. The Hybro Gang groaned as they climbed out of the parachute. "Ugh. So much for that sure-fire parachute Dr.N was bragging about." Cursula groaned.
"Oh, well, I'm just happy we survived." Tred said.
Slander immediately tensed when he saw where they landed. "Yeah? Well, I wouldn't speak too soon!"
"Why'd you say that?" Louisa asked, before hearing the sound of growls. "Uh oh, I think we're in trouble!"
"Hmm?" Cursula and Tred looked to see that they landed in the middle of a Lion den, and the pride was hungry. "Aah!"
In a flash, the quartet were on their feet, running from the hungry Felines. "Tred, you hang back!" Cursula told him. "There's much more of you to be eaten!"
"I don't want to be some Lion's lunch meat!" Tred told her.
"Well one of you better think of something fast, 'cause they're catching up on us and fast!" Louisa cried, practically feeling the Lions breathing down her back.
"Come on, Slander! Do something! Why don't you call out Gigas and White Slash?! Do I always have to think of everything?!" Cursula asked as the pride got closer.
From their headquarters, Ungaro and his men watched as the quartet were chased through some binoculars. "Hey, looks like there's some new poachers in town." One of the men said.
"Yeah, but I wouldn't worry about that." Ungaro assured them. "Doesn't look like they'll be around much longer."
"HYBRO SLASH!"
In a split second, Gigas and White Slash appeared and scared the Lions off with their mere presence and a pair of roars. "Well! Something went right for a change." Slander said as he recalled the Tyrannosaurus and Hybrid before the quartet sighed in relief. "Ah!"
"Phew, that was a close one." Louisa panted.
"My quick-thinking must've shown them who's the queen of this jungle." Cursula bragged.
"Yeah, and you ain't Lion." Tred added.
Ungaro, on the other hand, was shocked as to what happened. "What in the name of thievery was that thing and that other one?!" He asked in shock. "Where are these Animals coming from!? Unreal!" He was so shocked, his shades started falling off. The poacher collected himself before coming up with a plan. "Come to think of it, those Creatures might be able to help us capture the other Creature. Go invite those four to our camp!" Ungaro ordered his men.
"Right!" They said as they ran to meet the quartet, who had collapsed after the adrenaline rush.
As they ran off, Ungaro had a twisted smirk on his face. "If I play my cards right, I could have three rare Animals to sell."

After inviting the quartet over, the Hybro Gang and the poachers met up at their base of operation. "Welcome to our humble campsite, my friends. I'm Ungaro of the International Covert Wilderness Hunting Organization."
"Covert Wilderness Hunting Organization?" Cursula repeated before remembering where she heard that name before. "Hey, aren't those guys poachers?"
"We prefer the term collectors, if you don't mind." Ungaro requested.
"Cursula, these guys are crooks." Tred whispered to her.
"Yeah. Dr.N told us to never hang out with the likes of them." Slander reminded her.
"These idiots have a point for once. They're even lower than low!" Louisa added.
"Oh, and I supposed that you're just here sightseeing?" Ungaro asked, hearing their little whispers.
"Excuse me? Are you suggesting that we're poachers?" Cursula asked, taking offence to his comparison.
"Hmm." Tred thought. You know, come to think of it, even though we're after different kinds of Animals, what the Hybro Gang does is really kind of poachy, too." He explained.
"Huh? There's no comparison." Cursula told him. "We use sophisticated electronic devices and rockets. Right, Slander?"
"With blinky lights." He added.
"And cooler stuff." Louisa bragged.
"You're after that big Rhinoceros just the same as us, aren't you?" Ungaro asked them.
"And by that you mean?" Slander asked.
"Don't play dumb with me. There's a Rhinoceros in these parts the size of a small zeppelin!" Ungaro explained.
"A zeppelin-sized Rhinoceros?" Cursula asked, having a hard time believing that story.
"Hey, maybe it's really the Dinosaur." Tred whispered, much quieter this time.
"You might be right, Tred." Louisa whispered back. "It's the only thing that matches this zeppelin-sized Rhinoceros."
"With the money we'd get for bringing in an animal as rare as that one, we'd all be millionaires!" Ungaro declared, this time not hearing Tred. "And with the help of those unusual Beasts I saw you all with earlier, we should be able to catch it easily."
"Unusual Beasts?" Cursula repeated.
"What unusual Beasts?" Louisa asked.
"The ones that scared off all those Lions out there." Ungaro reminded them.
Cursula's eyes widened when she realised that he was referring to Gigas and White Slash. She brought Louisa, Slander and Tred into a team huddle to discuss their next move. "So what do you think? Maybe we should team up with them for now and see what we can find." She suggested.
"They could be of some use to us in finding the Dinosaur." Slander added.
"But don't forget they're poachers. What if they try to poach Gigas and White Slash?" Tred reminded them.
"Yeah, my Dad would be extremely furious if he finds that one of his creations is poached like some pathetic Creature." Louisa said.
"Those little peashooters won't phase them at all." Cursula said. "And if they try any funny business, we'll give them a thank you present." She said before turning around. "All right, Mr. Ungaro. Looks like we have a deal."
"Well, you've made an excellent decision." Ungaro said as they shook hands. "Now how about another look at those big Animals of yours?"
"Oh, I don't know. He's pretty rough." Cursula said. "Ha, ha, ha!"
"Yeah and the other one's extra shy." Louisa chuckled.

"Here it goes!" Max called out as he got into position to give the ball a mighty kick
"Max!" Spike called out as he got his son's attention.
The sudden startle caused the boy to lose balance and fall over. "Aah! Ugh. Hey, Dad." He greeted his father, getting back onto his feet while rubbing his head.
"Didn't you hear your Dino Holder go off?" Spike asked him.
The D-Team gasped as a result. "It did?" Zoe gasped.

"Reese, where did the Dinosaur appear?!" Rex asked as they quickly ran into the room and regrouped with their Dinosaur partners.
"In Africa. A country called Kenya." She told them.
"In Africa!" Rhysa gasped. "We're going to the wildest place on Earth!"
"Yes you are Cousin." Dora said.
"I've always wanted to go there!" Zoe beamed.
"Awesome!" Max said as they teleported away.
"Gee, That rings a bell. I know someone from Kenya." Spike said as he tried to remember who. "But I can't think who it is."
"Maybe it was a Hippopotamus?" Someone sarcastically suggested.
"Yeah! That's it!" Spike agreed, leading to Reese, Diego, Alicia and Dora rolling their eyes.

The D-Team found themselves in a small brush in the savannah. "Wow, look at all this open space!" Chomp said as he and the other Dinosaurs looked around in amazement. "The others would love it here!"
"It's called a savannah." Rex explained to the Dinosaurs. "And it's home to lots of Animals."
"Africa's home to the most wildlife than any of the other continents." Rhysa added. "Lots of Animals make their homes on the savannah. Zebras, Gazelles, Giraffes, Impalas, Hyenas, Elephants, Lions, Cheetahs and many more."
"Which makes this the perfect place to start looking." Terry said as he gave the air a sniff to attempt picking up the Dinosaur's scent.
"Mm-hmm." The others agreed.
"Then let's get tracking." Tracker said, sniffing the air.
But before they could start, they heard someone give them an order. "Hold it right there!"
"Huh?" Out of the bushes, a bunch of men wearing uniforms surrounded them. "Aah!"
"We're surrounded!" Rhysa gasped.
"Don't try to run." A blonde woman in the same uniform said as she walked over to them. "We're rangers from the Wildlife Protection Team. Identify yourselves and tell me what you're doing here!" She commanded.
"Well, it's kind of hard to explain." Max said, not wanting to lie, but also not wanting to tell them their mission.
"What are these Animals?" The woman asked.
"They're our Dogs. Why do you ask?" Zoe said as she hugged Paris and Spiny.
"Uh-huh, uh-huh!" Max quickly nodded sheepishly.
"Our very unique breed of Dog." Rhysa added.
"Dogs? Ha!" The woman said, not amused by the answer. "I've seen Dogs, and these are something different. I suggest you start telling me the truth, and you'd better start now!" She ordered. She was done playing games.
"I would, but you wouldn't believe it." Max told her.
That answer did not float well with her. "You're with Ungaro. You're poachers." The woman accused them.
"Poachers!" The kids gasped.
This was the last straw for the Dinosaurs. "How dare you call them that!" Chomp yelled at them, shocking all the rangers. "They'd never do such a thing!" The others agreed and started growling at the rangers.
"They're the complete opposite of poachers!" Giganto roared. "If anything, I'd say they're rescuers more than anything else!"
"You can speak?!" The woman said in shock.
"Don't bother switching the subject back to us!" Spiny yelled at her.
Thankfully, before a fight could break out, Max's Dino Holder started beeping. Max picked it up and saw his father on the other side. "Hey, how are things going? Did you find anything yet?" Spike asked him, even though they've only been gone for less than five minutes.
"Dad!" Max said just as the woman took his Dino Holder away from him. "Hey!" He cried before slumping in defeat.
The woman continued to glare at them until she noticed who was on the other end of the screen. "Hey!"
"Huh?" The D-Team said in confusion.
"Aah! Is that really you, Mary?" Spike asked in shock.
"Yes, it is!" The woman, apparently called Mary, answered. "I haven't seen you since the World Lasso Contest, Dr. Taylor!"
"You stole that victory from me!" Spike cried at the shameful memory.
"Too bad you lassoed yourself in the final event." Mary said, laughing slightly at the memory
"My big feet!" He wept in embarrassment.
"Hey! Does that mean this is your son here?" She asked Spike once she noticed the similarities.
"Yes, that's my boy Max." Spike confirmed. "I see that you two have met."
Mary silently gasped as Max decided to spill all the beans. "We have, but she thinks we're poachers."
"Even though they're only children!" Tank added.
"And I don't think she likes Chomp and the others a whole lot." Max added.
"Is that true, Mary?" Spike asked, fearing this would have happened if they ran into her, or just the rangers in general.
"Well, now, wouldn't you agree they're a little strange looking?" She asked nervously.
"Uhh, listen, Mary. Let's talk privately for a moment." Spike requested.
"Oh." Mary wasn't sure what this was about, but she had a feeling it was something important.
The two of them went aside while the rest of the rangers watched the kids and Dinosaurs. "Lucky for us the ranger knows your Dad." Terry told Max.
"That's for sure." Max agreed.
"Or we'd be in big trouble." Paris added.
"I can't reveal too much, but I assure you the kids are there on an important rescue mission." Spike finished explaining to Mary before hanging up.
"Sounds very mysterious." Mary said as she eyed Terry and the others. She then walked back to the group and handed Max back his Dino Holder. "Here's your device back, Max."
"Thanks." Max said as he took it from her.
"And, men, these Animals are Dogs." Mary told them.
"Really?" One said with confusion at her change in attitude.
"Sure they are." Another said sarcastically.
"Thanks, Mary." Max beamed with his friends as it looked like they were in the clear.
"Guys, it turns out these kids are actually here to help us find Ungaro and his men." Mary explained to her team.
"Oh." The men realised, more convinced about this than the Dog thing, while Mary leaned in to whisper to them.
"Dinosaurs aren't my department, but I'll help you guys out any way I can."

All throughout the savannah, Gigas and White Slash were terrorising the Animals with their appearance and their bad jokes.
White Slash started by chasing several African Wild Dogs, until they all fell into a big pit trap the poachers dug up. "Ha ha! Looks like the Wild Dogs are just scaredy house Puppies!" She laughed, as the poachers hauled their prizes up. Later she was chasing Baboons until some of them were captured in nets. "Oh you guys have barely been able to escape me!" Finally she grabbed several Monitor Lizards with her mouth, as the Reptiles bit her, but the Indominus Rex barely felt anything and carried them back to base. "Ha your bites are venomless now!"
Gigas meanwhile started chasing a Lioness until she fell into a pit the poachers made. "Looks like the Lion sleeps in the pits tonight." He said as the poachers hauled their prize away. He later was chasing Monkeys before one was caught in a net. "Monkey see, Monkey die." He finally grabbed a Crocodile with his mouth, scaring off the Plover Bird, and carried it back to the base. "Look, I'm smiling with a Crocodile."

"Those Creatures of yours are pretty incredible to have caught all these Animals with such ease!" Ungaro said as he inspected all of Gigas and White Slash's captures: Monkeys, Baboons, Zebras, Gazelles, Wildebeests, Lions, Hyenas, Leopards, Cheetahs, African Wild Dogs, even Rhinos, Hippos, Giraffes, Buffaloes and African Elephants.
"But we still haven't found this enormous Rhinoceros you were telling us about. Just normal ones." Cursula told the poacher.
"It's still around here. We'll find it eventually." Ungaro assured her. "So, what do you call these Animals of yours, anyway?" He asked her. "If you ask me, It looks like a Dinosaur and the white one looks like a Hybrid Dinosaur."
"Um, actually it's just a normal Hybrid." Louisa lied. "She's half Hyena and half uh, Monitor Lizard!" Louisa giggled as White Slash arrived.
"Here's the next catches." She said and dropped the 12 Monitor Lizards on Louisa.
"Huh?" Louisa asked, but then she heard the Monitor Lizards hissing. "AAAHH! MONITOR LIZARDS!" She tried to run but all 12 bit the blonde and she immediately became numb. "Oh great, now I'm paralysed!" Louisa groaned and fell to the ground with a thump.
"Heh!" Cursula tried to find the best excuse possible. These guys can not know that they have Dinosaurs or they'll never leave them alone. "It's a Hybrid, actually. Half Great Dane and half, uh, Crocodile." She quickly said before laughing. "Ha, ha, ha, ha!"
At that moment, Gigas appeared behind them. "Here's the next one." He said as he dropped the Crocodile on Cursula's head.
"Huh? What?" Cursula asked as she felt the weight on her head and heard Slander whimpering in fear. Her answer as to what it was came in the form of a low growl. "Aah! A Crocodile!"
"It's safe in the bushes!" Slander and Tred said as the trio ran into the bushes, only to be attacked by Lions. "It's not safe in the bushes!" They screamed as they leapt into the air with the Carnivores biting them.
"Get these Monitor Lizards off of me!" Louisa yelled, as the 12 Monitor Lizards started biting her. They only stopped when White Slash grabbed them by their tails and then tossed them in cages.
"The venom should wear off if you have some Poniar Flowers." White Slash said, as one of the poachers handed Louisa a first aid kit and applied the blonde with some Poniar Flower nectar and Louisa was instantly able to move after a large dose.
Gigas sighed and began to walk off to find his next catch. As he did, he heard the sound of a gun clicking. "If you're trying to hunt me, try a bit better than that." He said as he smacked the poacher with the gun to the ground with his tail. "Besides, I'm worth more alive than dead."
"And don't even think about doing the same to me." White Slash threatened. "Or I'll swallow you whole!"

With the D-Team, Mary was giving them a ride in her jeep as they searched for the Dinosaur. "It's such a big and peaceful place compared to the city, huh, guys?" Zoe asked them as they looked at all the herds around them.
"Yeah, I've always wanted to see these Animals." Rhysa said, as she took photos with her camera. "It's all so peaceful."
"Yeah, but then poachers come here and disturb that peace. Right, Mary?" Tank replied.
"Yes, they come to capture and sell the Animals or parts of them, which drives them to the point of extinction." Mary explained. "That's why most of the Animals here are suspicious of humans and can be dangerous if you get too close to them."
"Well if I ever see any poachers, I'm gonna give them a piece of my mind!" Rhysa said. "How can people like that do something so cruel to Nature?"
"I think poachers are real creeps." Chomp said.
"Me too." Paris agreed.
Mary's point was made clear when something appeared and started ramming the jeep from behind. "Whoa!" Max yelled as he fell out of his seat.
"What was that?!" Zoe asked before looking behind to see it was an angry Rhino attacking them.
"It's a Rhino!" Rhysa gasped.
When Max fell, his Dino Holder fell out of his hands and landed on the ground, before getting stepped on by the Rhino's large foot. "Ugh! My Dino Holder!"
"Let's go!" Mary said as she started up the jeep.
"Hold on." Max said as he jumped out to grab his Dino Holder.
Mary didn't hear him and was about to start up the jeep until a shadow loomed over them, scaring the Rhino off. "Huh? Aah!"
Turning around when they heard Mary scream, the D-Team saw Gigas and White Slash right on top of them. "It's Gigas!" Max gasped.
"And White Slash!" Dread gasped.
"The Hybro Gang." Rex said grimly.
Max looked at his Dino Holder and tried to get it working, but to no avail. "My Dino Holder's totally smashed! Sorry, guys. I can't get Chomp or Terry back to their full-size."
"What?!" The duo gasped.
"Then it's up to you, Tank." Rex told her. "You ready?"
"Bring it on!" She said eagerly as she was recalled.
"You two Brontina!" Rhysa said.
"DINO SLASH! SHAKE HIM UP, SAICHANIA!"
"DINO SLASH! BRACHIOSAURUS, STOMP HER FLAT!"
"That's amazing!" Mary said as she watched the battle begin.
Gigas started by swinging his tail at Tank's face multiple times. But the Saichania responded by either dodging them or meeting them in a tail-lock. White Slash went to attack the Sauropod's back, but Brontina side stepped and they met in a headlock. "Oh, come on, Gigas. That puny Dinosaur's no match for you!" Cursula said as they drove right by them in their own jeep.
"White Slash push harder against that Brachiosaurus! We've still got more Animals to catch!" Louisa called.
"Ungaro!" Mary exclaimed as she recognised the driver.
"Aah! The rangers!" He screamed in horror.
"And the old lady's with him!" Max added, pointing at the quartet accompanying him.
"Can't I pull off just one job without you mini-meddlers messing it up?!" Cursula rhetorically asked in frustration.
When Chomp came into view, Ungaro immediately took interest in him. "That little one looks like a miniature of the monster Rhino we saw last night." He said to himself. "Maybe they're related." Chomp heard this and growled at him
Back with the fight, Tank roared before she charged towards Gigas to pin him down. "Too slow." Gigas said as he whacked her away with his tail.
Brontina charged, but White Slash had a plan. Using her tail she threw a large cloud of dust into the air blinding the Sauropod. "And now you fall down!" White Slash said, tackling her to the ground.
Tank landed on her back and was completely helpless. "Tank!" Chomp exclaimed as he ran to assist.
"Chomp, no!" Max said as he ran after him.
"He didn't even go full-size before going into battle." Tred said as they saw Chomp running towards Tank.
"That's not showing us any respect at all." Cursula said smugly. "So, smash that kid and his little runt too!"
"White Slash crush them!" Louisa ordered.
"Erg. I know you want to fight him, Chomp, but you can't." Max said as he picked up the Triceratops.
Gigas and White Slash roared before they charged towards them. "A little help here?!" Chomp called out.
"Max! Get out of there, run!" Mary told him right before the Torosaurus appeared from nowhere and tackled Gigas into White Slash and they both were shoved away, causing them to spin across the ground on their sides.
"Aah!" Cursula gasped in horror, putting her hands to her cheeks.
"White Slash!" Louisa cried, with her mouth wide open.
"I can't watch!" Tred said as he covered his eyes.
"That's gotta hurt." Slander commented.
The team was amazed to see the Torosaurus while he walked over to Tank and helped her get back onto her feet. "Thanks, stranger." She thanked the Torosaurus, shaking her back to get the dust off.
"Thanks for the help." Brontina said, as she got back on her feet.
"Whoa, a Torosaurus!" Rex said in amazement.
"You're right Rex, I can tell because his frill's more oval shaped." Stiggy said.
"He looks a lot like Chomp, doesn't he?" Zoe asked as she noticed the comparison.
Max noticed how the Torosaurus then turned his attention to Chomp and started to inspect him like a worried parent. "Do you think that he heard Chomp's cry and came here to help?"
"That's what he claims to be doing." Tank confirmed before getting back into the fight. She walked over to Gigas and started hitting him on the stomach with her tail.
Brontina then walked to White Slash and began to repeatedly slam her front legs on the Hybrid's stomach.
"That's the way, Tank! Good job!" Rex cheered.
"Yeah! Keep it up!" Terry added.
"Smash her like a tin can, Brontina!" Stigga cheered.
While the others were distracted, the Torosaurus motioned for Chomp to follow him. "But Max will not like that I'm missing again while he has a busted Dino Holder." Chomp told him. The Torosaurus was having none of this and picked Chomp up by the frill and carried him away. "Fine, but this is all your fault!"
"White Slash, get your lousy self back on your feet and fight!" Louisa demanded.
"Get back on your feet, Gigas!" Cursula told him before turning to Slander. "Don't just stand there. Use our Move Card."
"Spectral Lancer!" He said as he swiped the card.
"Double Claw Swipe!" Louisa called as she swiped a Move Card.
White Slash's claws extended and she ran for Brontina. Two lancers came out from Gigas' sides and he went for Tank. "Then we'll use Earth Barrier!" Rex said as he activated the card.
Tank got in front of Brontina and slammed her forelegs and formed a purple shield around herself. And when the claws and lancers made contact, they just shattered like glass. "What?! No one can block that attack!" Gigas said in shock.
"Yeah, no one's fast enough to block my attack!" White Slash said in shock.
"I can." Tank replied smugly.
"Rainbow Lava!" Brontina roared and fired her attack hitting both the Hybro Gang's Dinosaurs, sending them rolling backwards.
"We've got a problem." Tred told his teammates, gently tapping Cursula's shoulder to get her attention.
"What now?" Cursula asked in frustration.
"We're in the middle of a fight right now Tred!" Louisa said.
"The Torosaurus got away." He pointed, showing the lack of the Ceratopsian in the area.
"Huh?" Cursula said as she looked around, accidentally smashing Tred's head again.
"Ow!" Tred said in reply to the strike.
"Which way did it go? Slander, locate that thing!" She ordered him.
"All over it." He replied before calling back Gigas, just in time to avoid an attack from a charging Tank.
"White Slash, we'll finish this later, right now we've got a Ceratopsian to find!" Louisa said, recalling her before Brontina could slam her neck on her.
"After the Torosaurus, and step on it, now!" Cursula told Ungaro as they quickly reentered the jeep.
"Ugh? So these are all Dinosaurs after all!" Ungaro exclaimed in excitement as he regained himself from the initial shock. "Fantastic! We're talkin' real money now!" He said as they drove off.

"I can't believe it's an actual Dinosaur! Two even!" Mary exclaimed as she looked at Tank and Brontina in amazement.
"We get that a lot." Tank said as she returned to chibi-form.
"About 25% of the time, whenever someone sees us transform." Brontina said as she returned to chibi-form.
"No wonder your dad made me promise to keep this a secret." Mary said.
As the rest of the group conversed, Terry noticed that Chomp was missing. "Uh, guys, where'd Chomp go?"
"Hey, Chomp! Come here!" Max called out, but the Triceratops never responded.
"I wonder if Torosaurus took off with him thinking he'd be in danger from the Hybro Gang." Paris thought.
"I hope you're right." Max answered before working to open up the stone compartment. After what happened in Paris, he remembered how he was able to summon Chomp and Terry to full-size with just the stone, and the stones seemed to be impossible to break. So he, along with Rex, Rhysa and Zoe, realised they could do that if their Dino Holders ever got damaged. Only problem was the cap covering the stones was also damaged by the Rhino's stomp. "Ugh. If I could just get this stupid thing open, I could use the stone to call him back."
"I advise against it." Ace told him. "It might cause the Torosaurus to panic if Chomp suddenly disappeared. We'd better find them on foot."
"Then we'd better get moving. The Hybro Gang and the poachers are already ahead of us. If we don't hurry, they'll take Torosaurus and Chomp." Rex reminded him.
"Ranger Mary?" Terry asked the ranger.
"Yeah. Let's go."

The duo of Ceratopsians found a water hole to drink from while they waited for the group to find them. But this resting spot soon turned to an ambush when Brontikens with his Spectral Armour on appeared from behind them with a loud roar. "Brontikens." Chomp growled. The Torosaurus noticed Chomp's eagerness to fight and motioned for him to stay back as Brontikens moved forward.
The Torosaurus started glowing too but yellow, as in a dimension of lightning a circle of lightning appeared around Torosaurus as a bright yellow circle appeared on his forehead, lightning then came bursting out of his sides as one yellow circle appeared on either side of him, then the one on his forehead shone brightly as shoulder blade yellow coloured armour appeared on his shoulders on each side, as more armour appeared on his sides working its way down from his front to his tail, finally armour appeared on his forehead and frill like a helmet, the Torosaurus roared at the sky as he reared up on his hind legs and slammed them to the ground and posed as lightning flashed all around the dimension.
"So this is the Lightning Champion?" Brontikens said. "No matter, champion or not, he's still going down."
"Ha, ha, ha, ha! Now we've got you!" Cursula bragged as the gang appeared from the bushes.
"Right where we want him as well." Louisa smirked.
"And there's the little brat's guy, too!" Tred pointed out.
"A special capture one, get one free deal." Slander said.
"A Hybro Gang discount." Tred added.
"Yes, this will be the big one. I'll make the Poacher's Hall of Fame for sure!" Ungaro declared as he started laughing like a lunatic. "Yehahahahahaha!"
"Let's go, Brontikens. Knock 'em back into cards before those little pests show up and ruin it!" Cursula commanded, ignoring Ungaro.
Brontikens gave out another roar before beginning the attack. A roar that didn't go unheard. "What could've made that roar?" Mary asked.
"Ever hear of an Apatosaurus?" Max asked.
"Don't tell me." The ranger said as she quickly put together what Max was implying.
"We've got to hurry and get there!" The brunet told her.
"Okay!" Mary complied as the jeep sped up to the Battlefield.
Brontikens and the Torosaurus both met each other in a headlock, the Torosaurus proving to actually be pretty strong. "Darn it. What I wouldn't give for some assistance right now." Chomp said as he watched the fight.
"Ask and you shall receive, Bro." Chomp looked to see the jeep come to a stop behind him, with Max comedically falling out due to both not wearing a seatbelt and the door was open.
"Spiny, it's our turn now." Zoe said as she got him ready. "Let's go!"
"You too Dread! It's time to kick some butt!" Rhysa said, as she got him ready.
"DINO SLASH! GUSH OUT, SPINOSAURUS!"
"DINO SLASH! DREADNOUGHTUS, STOMP THEM FLAT!"
"ELEMENT BOOSTER! DINO TECTOR ON!"
"Bring Maximus out now to take care of this one." Cursula told Slander.
"Coming right up!" Slander said as he did the deed.
"Looks like it's your turn now, Atrocious." Louisa said getting the Hybrid ready.
Once Maximus and Atrocious appeared with their armour on, the world turned to that of a Time Warp. They were sent to an open field near a large lake with a waterfall. "Aw, man, I wish I could bring out Chomp." Max complained, not wanting the Torosaurus, Dread and Spiny to fight the trio alone.
"I really can't believe what I am seeing." Mary said as the battle resumed.
Spiny charged forward in an effort to attack Brontikens, only for Maximus to knock him away with her horns. Dread tried to go for Maximus, but Atrocious smacked him with her tail. This allowed Brontikens to meet the Torosaurus in another headlock. Max, on the other hand, was still struggling with his Dino Holder. "Ugh! Come on! Open up!" He struggled before falling over comedically.
"Let's see how you handle Lepto Strike Gun!" Atrocious roared as the Leptostega appeared in a puddle of water, and then blasted water in the shape of bullets towards Dread.
"Styxo Ice Freeze and Elsama Hydro Blaster!" Rhysa called slashing two Move Cards.
Stacey and Elasma appeared in their puddles and fired. Stacey froze the water bullets and Elasma blasted the bullets into tiny pieces of ice.
Dread then hit the Hybrid with his neck, sending the Dracodentitan crashing into a boulder.
Spiny hit Maximus repeatedly in the face with his tail before kicking her into the air where she landed in the lake behind them with a huge splash. Brontikens charged towards the Spinosaurus, only for the Torosaurus to stop him. "Insolent pest." Brontikens said. He grabbed the Torosaurus by the frill before throwing him towards Chomp.
Chomp tried to jump out of the way, but couldn't in time and was sent spinning away. "Oh, yeah, you're mine now, little fella!" Ungaro exclaimed as he opened his arms to capture Chomp.
"Oh, no!" Terry and Max shouted in horror.
"I've got this!" Mary said as she pulled out her lasso. "Hyah!"
Her lasso was able to land around Chomp and pull him in before Ungaro was able to even lay a finger on him. "What? Ohh!" He growled in irritation at another missed catch.
"I've got you!" Max said as he caught Chomp in his arms.
"This was all the Torosaur's fault." Chomp quickly explained his disappearance before leaping out of Max's hands and landing by his Dino Holder, also having the idea of using the stone. "Let me try opening it." With just a few pokes from his horn, he was able to get the cover of the stones off.
"Ohh! Heh. What a great idea." Max said as he picked up the Lightning Stone. "Yeah! We're back in business!"
"DINO SLASH! TRICERATOPS, ROAR! ELEMENT BOOSTER! DINO TECTOR ON!"
Chomp landed and immediately charged towards Brontikens, who was repeatedly hitting the Torosaur's back with his tail, and knocked him down. Ungaro was in shock at what he saw. Such a shock that he didn't notice Mary wrap her lasso around him until he was already caught. "It's all over, Ungaro!" Mary told him.
"OK! I give up!" The poacher surrendered.
Back with Spiny, he dodged another one of Maximus' charges before hitting her away again with a tackle. Zoe decided to end this battle with a Move Card. "Let's go! Futaba Super Cannon!"
Futaba appeared right in front of Spiny and began charging his cannon. "Aah! Maximus, watch out! Incoming!" Slander warned her.
"You too slow!" Futaba said as he fired and landed a direct hit, defeating the Triceratops in the process.
"No fair!" Slander whined as he went to get the card. "I hate that attack."
"Nice shot Futaba!" Spiny cheered, then he saw Elsama and Stacey in trouble. The Leptostega had his armour on. "Futaba, go and help Elasma and Stacey!"
"I on it!" The Futabasaurus replied.
"Hey Zoe, what do you say we armour up Futaba, Elasma and Stacey?" Rhysa said, grabbing Elasma's and Stacey's Element Boosters.
"Great idea!" Zoe agreed, grabbing Futaba's Element Booster.
"ELEMENT BOOSTER! DINO TECTOR ON!"
They attached the Boosters under Dread's and Spiny's Element Boosters and Stacey's and Elasma's Cards showed on Rhysa's screen while Futaba's Card showed up on Zoe's screen with armour on.
Futaba glowed too but blue, as in a dimension of water, a circle of water appeared around the Futabasaurus, as a bright blue circle appeared on his forehead, water then came gushing out of his sides as one blue circle appeared on either side of him, then the one on his forehead shone brightly, as shoulder blade blue coloured armour appeared on his shoulders, as more armour appeared on him, working its way down from his front to his tail, finally armour appeared on his forehead like a helmet, the Futabasaurus then leapt out of his puddle up into the air, somersaulted roared at the sky, landed back in his puddle and posed as water gushed all around the dimension.

"Hey, this ain't fair!" The Leptostega cried. "Three on one, no fair on me!"
"You bad guy!" Stacey said. "We play unfair if we want!"
"Yeah and we not see you as fair either!" Elasma roared.
"Let us get him!" Futaba cried.
The three Plesiosaurs then dived back into their puddles. The Leptostega instantly looked around on all sides to see if he could spot them. But the three Plesiosaurs resurfaced right behind Atrocious.
"NOW!" They called to Dread.
"JURASSIC CANNON!" Dread roared and fired.
"What in the?!" The Dracodentitan cried, before being sent flying into the air and landed on top of the Leptostega.
"Finish them you three!" Spiny and Dread called.
"SUPER CANNON!"
"HYDRO BLASTER!"
"ICE FREEZE!"
"AH! Atrocious! Squirt! Lookout! Triple cannons!" Louisa cried.
But it was too late, Elasma's and Stacey's cannons struck Atrocious square in the chest, while Futaba's cannon landed a direct hit on the Leptostega named Squirt. They both returned to their cards.
"That's so not fair!" Louisa moaned, as she went to grab her cards. "I hate Plesiosaurs!"
Back with Brontikens, he got back up and glared at the duo of Chomp and the Torosaurus. "I can't imagine that Torosaurus has much energy left after all this." Brontikens said to himself as he noticed the green Ceratopsian panting heavily. "So one final attack should finish him off!" He roared before charging forward.
"Here he comes!" Chomp warned before the two of them dodged Brontikens' charge by side stepping. The Apatosaurus realised this and stopped himself, his larger inertia playing against him again as he slid across the lake, and charged towards them again. "Oh, please tell me this'll work." Chomp whispered before going underneath the Apatosaurus.
"What the?" The Apatosaurus asked.
Using all the strength he could muster, Chomp began to lift Brontikens slightly off the ground before tossing him back in front of them. "How is that possible?!" Cursula gasped. And here she thought Terry was the only one of the brats Dinosaurs that could stand toe-to-toe with Brontikens.
"MAX! NOW!" Chomp called.
"All right!" Max cheered. "Now, Lightning Strike!"
Chomp began charging up his attack, but in a twist, the Torosaurus was doing the same. "Wait, both of you?!" Cursula asked in horror.
The duo of Dinosaurs roared together before firing their attack right at Brontikens, creating a giant beam of lightning that sent the Apatosaurus flying. Brontikens was defeated the second his back touched the ground. "Yeah, Chomp! Way to go!" Max cheered.
The Torosaurus looked at Chomp before collapsing due to the lack of energy and returned to his card. "That was totally cheating!" Cursula accused the D-Team, as the Time Warp disappeared. "You can't have two Dinosaurs use the same attack at once!"
"That's teamwork." Chomp answered as he picked up the Booster and Cards with his beak.
"Ergh! Why didn't you blockheads think of that?" She asked Slander and Tred once they returned with the cards.
"Because Maximus got turned back into a card, and Tred's too slow to think of something like that." Slander answered, not at all upset by another loss. "No offence."
"None taken." Tred replied with a smile, knowing it was true.
"Oh this is so not great!" Louisa groaned.
"Ugh! I'm tired of all your excuses!" Cursula yelled as she began to strangle Slander while Tred tried to get to her to stop. "We were just about to score a huge victory, and instead, we come up with nothing!" Her tantrum was cut off when Paris did her call from her cone and a rumbling followed. "Why do I hear a freight train coming?" She asked before looking to see that the rumbling came from a very large and an angry mob of Animals emerging from the bushes. "Aah!" The quartet screamed as the Animals gave chase as revenge for capturing their brethren.
"Paris! You called them, didn't you?" Zoe asked her with a smirk.
"Maybe." The Parasaurolophus admitted with a blush while Zoe just giggled.
"Ahahaha."
"Now that's what happens when you mess with Mother Nature!" Rhysa cheered. "Because she and her Creatures have wills of their own and if provoked they'll strike back with avengeance!"
"No!" Ungaro screamed as the Hybro Gang accidentally led the Animals towards him while trying to escape. He crawled as fast as he could to avoid getting smashed. "Leave me alone! I'm sorry I poached you!" But the Animals didn't listen nor did they care as they ran over him, still after the Hybro Gang. "Mom was right, I should've become a plumber." He said in pain before fainting.
"Slander, use what little brain you have and get us out of this mess!" Cursula told him.
"Why can't Tred be the one to think of something for a change?!" Slander asked.
"Well one of you better think fast, 'cause that mob's gaining on us!" Louisa shrieked.
"I say let's keep on running, and we'll be OK!" Tred answered. The quartet continued on running until they realised both that the Animals had stopped chasing them and that they weren't moving anymore. "Huh?" Once they stopped running and looked down, they realised that they ran right off of a cliff and were now falling after trying to run back onto the ledge.
Thankfully the cliff was right above a river that broke their fall. "Aah! Aah! Aah! Aah!" The quartet struggled before Louisa, Slander and Cursula grabbed onto a nearby floating log. "That sure was a close one, huh?" Slander asked.
"I can't swim! I can't swim!" Tred exclaimed before grabbing onto the log. "Finally, I feel safe now."
"Ha! Those Animals can't get us now!" White Slash bragged. "We're officially safe now!"
It wasn't long before they heard the sound of water rushing. "Do you hear that sound?" Cursula asked. "The only other time I've heard water this loud was that time at the-" She stopped when they all realised at the same time.
"Aaaah! Waterfall! Not again!" The quartet screamed before going off the edge.

Once the poachers were all arrested, the D-Team and rangers worked together to free all of the captured Animals back to the wild. At the moment, they were helping some of the baby Animals get back with their families. Torow the Torosaurus was helping them find the correct parents. "I'm glad we could help get these Animals back to their families." Zoe said.
"Me too Zoe." Rhysa smiled, as a single tear of joy came out of her eyes. "Now they can roam and be free with their families and their friends in the wild savannah."
"Hopefully now we'll have some peace around here." Mary said. "You know, we have pretty similar jobs of protecting Animals." She told the kids.
"Yeah! And I guess you could think of Dr.N as a poacher." Max said.
"Dr.N?" Mary asked while the kids snickered at her confusion.
"Anyway, these Animals really need you, Mary." Torow said. "I'm training the Triceratops now, so I hope that you'll keep on helping them."
"Thank you. I sure will." Mary said with a giggle before turning to the kids. "You keep helping the Dinosaurs."
"We will!" The kids said proudly.
"Anyone hungry? How about some eggs?" Mary suggested.
"As long as they're not poached." Max joked, making everyone laugh. "Ha, ha, ha, ha!"

Once they got back home, they introduced Torow to the rest of the Herd, and the rest of the Dinosaurs welcomed the Ceratopsian with open arms or tails. Rhysa then pulled out her camera and started recording the others welcoming Torow into the Herd.
"Now that we've got Torow the Torosaurus joining our Herd. We've rescued 72 different Dinosaurs so far. Pretty cool huh?"
