Over on Zeta Point, Dr.N was still in bed with his bad back, but he was smiling and humming to himself. "Well, I finally hear some good news." He said. "A new Dinosaur and now it's where it belongs right here!" He then turned to Slander and Tred. "Keep this up and you'll be getting a promotion."

"Yes sir!" The two men saluted.

"Louisa, I'm impressed with you too." Dr.N said. "Keep this up and I'll be granting you a special reward."

"Oh yes sir!" Louisa saluted. "Is there something you want me to do?"

"Well you three can now leave me in peace." The Doctor ordered.

"Yes sir."

Once they were out in the hallway, the three spotted Cursula who was still feeling sore from her trip in the Wild West.

"Well?" She asked.

"He's still happy." Louisa said. "And you keep your mouth shut."

"Fine I will." Cursula said. "Besides now that we have the Saurophaganax we have a power advantage over those brats."

"Yes we do. Enjoy your time with your Dinosaur friends D-Team." Louisa said. "Because we will have them before the year is up."

Meanwhile in the Training Room on Zeta Point, White Slash and the other Hybrids were busy training for the next mission.

"That Saurophaganax never had a chance against Brontikens!" Berserker said, as he smashed a training dummy.

"I know and thanks to Rod and Laura helping Louisa, we finally got a Dinosaur!" Fyre said, as she lifted a boulder and tossed it towards Lyle.

"If we keep up with this training and Rod and Laura helping Louisa in the battlefield, we'll get the rest of the cards before that cursed D-Team do." The Spinotasuchus said, as he sliced the boulder into tiny pieces with his claws.

In the country of South Africa just in the Kruger National Park, a big game hunt was happening. Several rangers were in jeeps looking for poachers along the main game trails. But they couldn't find any poachers or any traps. After searching the area they moved onto the next.

But what they didn't know was that after they left one of the rangers had found a card capsule, but thought it was an abandoned Ostrich Egg and left it alone. As the jeeps left they caused some stones to fly and one of the stones hit the capsule sending it down to the ground and it opened revealing three cards inside, and then some dirt landed on the cards, causing them to glow purple and the Dinosaur was called out.

The Dinosaur was yellow with crimson stripes going along its back. On its back close to its head were small plates that went up halfway along its back getting bigger, while the other half had long spikes getting smaller as it reached to its tail. It also had one spike on each side of it. This Dinosaur was a Kentrosaurus.

Upon making its presence known by all it let out a roar that got the rangers attention. Stopping their jeeps they gasped at seeing the Jurassic Quadruped behind them. Looking around itself, the Kentrosaurus could only see green plants and flood plains. Thinking these were the lands up north of its Jurassic home, the Kentrosaurus went off in search of water.

The rangers were speechless, as the Kentrosaurus made its way through the forest in search of the nearest watering hole.

"Was that a Dinosaur?" One of the rangers asked.

"I don't know, but we'd better let the chief know about this new Creature in the park." Another ranger said, as he snapped a photo of the Kentrosaurus, before the Rangers made their way back to the station.

At Zeta Point the Kentrosaurus' signal appeared on the map, as Seth was in the control room. "Rod. Laura. Another Dinosaur has been sighted in South Africa." He said.

"More precisely in the Kruger National Park." Rod said, looking at the location.

"I always wanted to go to Africa." Laura said. "We're ready to go."

"Africa? Again?" Louisa asked. "I still have bite marks from my last trip to Kenya." Of course Louisa was referring to when she got bitten by a bunch of Monitor Lizards.

"Louisa." Dr.Wu said, as he entered the room. "We must get this card. We can't fail."

"I know that Dad." Louisa said. "Well we'd better get going."

With that said, Louisa, Rod and Laura headed off to the jet and they set off for Africa.

Meanwhile back in Sanjo City, Rhysa was looking at her reflection in the lake at the park. She was still thinking about the Saurophaganax. "We failed to save Saurophaganax." She said. "Why didn't I see their trick before it was too late?"

Even though Max had gotten over the loss and was filled with renewed faith they would save him, Rhysa was still depressed about it. Ever since they had returned from their failed mission, so many things had been running through her head.

"It's our job to protect the Dinosaurs, and we failed one! Why didn't I bring out Dread and Brontina? Why didn't I just have Tracker and Giganto charge forward? Why didn't I-"

Rhysa was broken from her thoughts when her Dino Holder started beeping. She pulled out her Dino Holder and saw she was getting a message.

"Rhysa, get to the D-Lab now!" Diego said. "We've got a new Dinosaur that needs rescuing!"

"Max, Rex and Zoe are already on their way." Reese added.

"Oh, okay, I'll get there as fast as I can." Rhysa said.

Once Rhysa got to the D-Lab, her Dinos and the others were already there.

"Where are we going this time?" Max asked.

"A Dinosaur's appeared in Africa again." Dora said, typing on her computer. "But it's in South Africa this time."

"Looks like it's appeared in the Kruger National Park." Speedy said.

"The Kruger National Park?" Chomp asked.

"I've read about that place." Zoe said. "It's one of the largest game reserves in Africa."

"What's a National Park?" Spiny asked.

"National Parks are large areas of land that remain untouched by humanity and are protected by law." Rex said. "People are allowed to go on tours through the park, but poaching is strictly forbidden."

"So we won't have to worry about poachers this time." Tank said.

"Rex, you forgot to mention that some poachers enter the park to do hunting legally." Max said.

"I'm sorry what?" Tracker asked.

"Sometimes poachers are paid by the government to hunt a certain Animal." Diego said. "But it's nothing like Ungaro and his cronies."

"They follow the laws and only go after the Animal they're asked to get." Alicia said.

"Well that's reassuring." Tank muttered.

"Come on guys!" Rhysa said. "We've got work to do!"

With that the D-Team headed for the teleporter and teleported away to South Africa.

Meanwhile Louisa, Rod and Laura were flying in one of the jets searching for the Dinosaur from the air. Cursula, Slander and Tred said that they would go but only to watch them do all the work.

"Nice to not have the worries of anything going wrong this time." Louisa said, happy this jet journey was going much better than all her previous ones went.

"Boy this national park's so green, it's hard to find the Dinosaur from above." Laura said, looking through her binoculars.

"Then we'll just have to land and search from the ground." Rod said.

"Then we'll nab that Dino before the D-Team shows up and make our way back to base." Louisa said, before seeing something. "Wait, guys I've found the Dinosaur!"

Rod and Laura looked where Louisa was looking and saw she had found the Dinosaur.

"That's a Kentrosaurus." Rod identified.

"It's in the same family as Stegosaurus, but it had spikes on its back instead of just its tail." Laura said.

"It looks like it's heading for the watering hole." Louisa said. "It's the perfect place to capture it."

Rod and Laura agreed and they then searched for an area outside the park for them to land the jet and then make their way to the water hole to attack the Stegosaurid.

Back with the D-Team they had teleported into the park in the area where the Kentrosaurus was activated.

"Well from the looks of it, the Dinosaur was definitely here." Max said.

"You can say that again." Terry said, sniffing the air. "If my experience has taught me anything, the Dinosaur's probably searching for either food or water."

"So all we have to do is follow the trail and we'll find the Dinosaur." Rhysa said.

But before they could follow the trail, a voice called. "Hold it right there!"

Suddenly several park rangers came out of the bushes surrounding the kids.

"Don't try and run." A woman with orange hair said. "We're rangers from the Kruger National Protection Team. Identify yourselves and tell me what you're doing here in the park."

"Um, well it's hard to explain." Rhysa said, trying to figure out what to tell them.

"Hang on a second. Are you the D-Team?" The woman asked.

"Yes, we are." Zoe said.

"So you're the kids Mary told me about."

"Wait, you know Mary?" Rex asked.

"Sure do, I'm her sister. The name's Johanna."

"Well nice to meet you Johanna." Max said "I'm Max, and that's Rex, Zoe and Rhysa. But I didn't know that Mary had any sisters or anything."

"I guess she's too busy with her job to talk about her siblings." Johanna said.

"I know this sounds strange but have any of you rangers seen a Dinosaur in the park lately?" Rhysa asked.

"Actually one of the patrols said they saw one earlier today." Johanna said. "Why don't we take you to the ranger station and we'll show you."

Johanna and the rangers drove the D-Team to the ranger station, which was also a veterinary and training centre.

"Wow, this place is busy." Zoe said.

"Yes I know." Johanna said. "Here we're not just the park rangers, we're also in charge of caring for the Animals as well as training the new rangers and even reformed poachers on how to patrol the park to see if there's any snare traps or any other signs that poachers are in the park."

"Why would poachers that have been sent to jail then want to work with the law?" Tank asked. "I thought once a poacher is always a poacher."

"Well Tank, sometimes poachers that have finished their sentences see the error of their ways and they now want to help protect Nature and not destroy it." Johanna explained.

"That's amazing." Rhysa said. "With reformed poachers on your side, who know how poachers think, you can find Animal traps a lot faster."

"So about the Dinosaur." Zoe asked.

"Oh right, here's the photo one of the patrols took." Johanna said, showing them the photo.

The D-Team took a good look at the photo to see if they could identify the Dinosaur. Unfortunately the picture was a little blurry, and the Dinosaur had its back facing the camera.

"I can't tell what kind of Dinosaur it is." Chomp said. "Only thing I can see is that it's a Quadruped."

"Then we'd better find the Dinosaur before the Hybro Gang shows up." Terry said. "This time, we'll beat them."

"Johanna, you mind helping us searching for the Dinosaur?" Max asked.

"Yeah, let's go find it." Johanna said, getting into her jeep. "Come on."

Meanwhile the Kentrosaurus had arrived at the main watering hole with a large rock in the centre of it, where lots of Animals, such as Wildebeests, Zebras and Lions had gathered to drink. The other Animals had never seen a Creature like the Kentrosaurus before, but they still made way for her to access a spot by the water hole for a drink. The Kentrosaurus walked to the water's edge and began drinking, the Reptilian Crocodiles walked under her and into the water, even the Mammalian Hippos now kept their distance, giving the rest of the Crocodiles personal space which is something that Hippos didn't do very often or even never at all. All the Animals began to continue their drinking happily and peacefully.

But this peaceful spot soon turned into an ambush, as Tartarus appeared from behind the bushes with a loud roar. The other Animals ran away in fear seeing this new and more unfriendly Dinosaur show up. The Kentrosaurus turned herself from her drink and faced her attacker.

"Looks like Tartarus' found our target!" Louisa said in delight as she, Rod and Laura came out of the bushes. "This is going to be easy."

"Go Tartarus! Turn that Kentrosaurus back into a card!" Rod and Laura cheered.

The Alangasaurus charged forward with a roar and the two engaged in a headlock. They went at each other as the Kentrosaurus swung her tail at her attacker, hitting the Alangasaurus on her side, and sending her sliding across the floor.

"AH!" The three cried. "Come on Tartarus! Attack again!" Louisa encouraged.

The Hybrid then got back on her feet and tackled the Jurassic Herbivore to the ground, this time avoiding her tail. Suddenly the ground started to shake as a herd of Cape Buffalo were all running to the water for a drink. They knocked the Hybrid to the ground to get the water hole.

"Why you little pests!" Tartarus growled. "You'll regret that!"

"Get those Buffaloes, Tartarus!" Louisa said, grabbing a Move Card. "Inferno Burst!"

Tartarus then growled as his eyes erupted into flames and then launched purple fire from her mouth towards the Buffaloes. The Kentrosaurus saw this and then got in front of the herd and took the full force of the attack. The Kentrosaurus roared in pain, as the Buffaloes bellowed in surprise.

Not too far away the D-Team along with Johanna heard the roaring and could see the purple fire and could hear the Kentrosaurus' roar.

"What's going on at the watering hole?" Johanna asked, noticing the sky had changed colours.

"The Hybro Gang's here!" Paris gasped.

"They must be fighting the Dinosaur now!" Ace gasped.

"We've gotta hurry and get there before it's too late!" Tracker cried.

"Okay!" Johanna said, speeding up the jeep. "Hold on everyone!"

Back at the fight, the Kentrosaurus was lying on her side, but she had managed to hang on. "So she survived huh?" Tartarus said. "Well can you handle two Inferno Bursts?"

"Tartarus! Finish her off!" Louisa ordered, swiping the Move Card again.

"With pleasure!" The Hybrid growled, ready to deliver the final blow.

Tartarus roared and was ready to finish off her target, but before she could fire anymore purple fire, she was suddenly headbutted really hard by several fully grown Giraffes, sending her flying off her feet and cancelling her move towards several Hippos and several Elephants as the two big Mammal Species then tackled her together with their heads and sent her crashing to the ground. Then several White Rhinos charged and then rammed her with their horns, before she was then tossed into the air again, by the Buffalo herd. She hit the ground with a thump as Zebras, Gazelles, Wildebeests, Okapis, Antelopes and Impalas started kicking her stomach with their hooves while she could feel the bites of Lions, Leopards, Hyenas, Crocodiles, Wild Dogs and even Cheetahs biting her back, while Baboons, Monkeys, Mandrills, Meerkats, Warthogs, Pangalins, smaller Animals and many African Birds throwing stones and small branches at her.

"What's going on here?" Laura gasped, having never seen this kind of behaviour with Animals before. "They're all attacking Tartarus!"

"I don't know!" Rod said. "It's like they've forgotten all their differences and have united as one."

"Oh no!" Louisa gasped. "I think I know what's going on! It a-"

But before she could finish her sentence she could see the Kentrosaurus getting back on her feet.

With her attacker occupied, the Kentrosaurus was able to get back on her feet and then roared loudly to get all the Animals to back away. Once all the Animals had moved out of the way, the Kentrosaurus roared as she glowed purple, and her Move Card activated. Suddenly four very big purple crystals appeared, two on each side of the Kentrosaurus, then the crystals turned until the pointy ends were facing forward. Tartarus saw the move and tried to get back on her feet but it was for not as the Kentrosaurus charged forward with the crystals at her sides and she smashed into the Hybrid.

"What kind of Move is that?" Rod asked.

"I think the Kentrosaurus just used Crystal Crusher." Laura answered

The Alangasaurus roared in extreme pain as she was sent flying before she crashed to the ground, she tried to get up but she couldn't, she collapsed on the floor and returned to her card.

"Tartarus!" Louisa cried, before she ran to get the card.

"She must've taken too much damage from the Animals attacking her." Rod said.

"But why were all the Animals working together?" Laura asked.

"Because it's a water truce!" A voice said.

The three kids of the Hybro Gang turned and saw Johanna and the D-Team arrive. "They're all working together because the Peace Rock that hasn't been seen in this watering hole for years shows the sign where all Creatures must unite as one until the Dry Season's over."

"What are you two doing here?" Dread asked.

"We're here to get the Dinosaur Card, like we did last time." Rod said.

"If you think you're gonna beat us twice in a row then you've got another thing coming!" Max said.

"Well that battle was a warm up, now for my next Hybrid." Louisa said, readying her next card.

"Not if I get her first!" Max said, getting his Dino Holder out and was about to recall Chomp and Terry.

"Wait where'd the Kentrosaurus go?" Stigga asked, noticing the lack of Stegosaurid in the area.

"She must've gotten away." Stiggy said. "Like how Rio used Ace's scuffle with Maximus as a way to escape unnoticed back in Brazil."

"That's just great!" Tank growled. "Thanks a lot Hybro Gang!"

"It's not our fault you weren't looking to see if the Dinosaur was still here." Rod said.

"We'd love to stay and chat, but we've got a Dinosaur to catch!" Laura said.

"Then we'd better get on the trail fast." Louisa said, snapping her fingers, as three Hybro Scooters appeared. The three Hybro kids hopped on and then made a quick getaway into the jungle.

"No! We've gotta find that Kentrosaurus before they do." Rhysa said, racing back to the jeep. "Ranger Johanna?"

"Yeah, let's go."

The Kentrosaurus meanwhile had escaped her attackers and had found a large cave to crash in. The Stegosaurid, let out a yawning roar before closing her eyes, laying her head down and going to sleep.

Meanwhile the D-Team and Johanna were searching for the Kentrosaurus by the plains, thinking it might be looking for shrubs and bushes to eat.

"Boy, all the Animals working together at the watering hole really caught me off guard." Zoe said.

"Hey Johanna, what did you mean by a water truce?" Ace asked.

"You saw the big rock in the middle of the watering hole?" Johanna asked, as the D-Team nodded yes. "Well, that's the Peace Rock. This is the first time in many Dry Seasons that the Peace Rock has appeared. When the Peace Rock appears it means that there's a water truce. All the Animals in the park know the law of the water truce, they all go to the Peace Rock and all drink side by side."

"So if I get what you're saying is that fighting at the Peace Rock is forbidden?" Max asked.

"That's right Max." Johanna said. "If any Creature ever breaks the law and starts a fight, all the Animals will attack together until the one that started the fight has been driven away."

"That explains why all the Animals attacked Tartarus when she was about to finish the Kentrosaurus." Tank said.

"I think we had a similar order back in the old days." Terry said, remembering something similar happening in the past. "Back when water was hard for us to find, the king had decided that whenever there was a water shortage everyone would gather at the Great Rock and share the water with the other Creatures."

"So it looks like the Mammals and other smaller Reptiles that survived the Extinction must've carried on the tradiction." Spiny said.

"That's nice to know but can we get back to looking for the Dinosaur?" Rhysa said, looking through her binoculars. "I don't understand, we've been driving for an hour and there's still no sign of her."

"I think she's probably asleep somewhere." Tracker said. "She'll probably come out and look for food soon."

"Then let's go and search for her somewhere else." Brontina said.

So with that said, Johanna began to drive the jeep away from the plains as the search for the Kentrosaurus continued.

Meanwhile the Kentrosaurus had woken up from her nap in the cave and started walking back outside again. The Jurassic Quadruped then decided to find the most important thing to keep her strength up, and that was food.

The Kentrosaurus walked into the forest and looked for the bushes and shrubs that had the most nutrition in them. She soon found some and began to eat what was probably her first meal in years, unaware that Cursula, Slander and Tred were right behind her observing from a distance.

"Well, it looks like we found the Dinosaur, and it's a Kentrosaurus." Cursula said.

"Let's go and capture it!" Tred said.

"Wait a moment." Slander said. "We promise Rod and Laura that they'd capture new Dinosaurs when they appear. So it's best for us to remain hidden in case those brats show up."

"Well we'd better at least tell them we've found the Kentrosaurus before it gets away after its snack." Tred said.

"Good idea." Slander said, getting out his Scanner.

Rod, Laura and Louisa meanwhile were searching for the Kentrosaurus in the grasslands.

"I don't think the Kentrosaurus' here guys." Louisa said. "You think the D-Team's found it and captured it already?"

"No they haven't." Rod said. "The signal's still showing so the Kentrosaurus' still active."

"We've got to find it." Laura said.

Then Louisa's Hybro Scanner started beeping, meaning she was getting a call. "Huh? Oh what now?" Louisa groaned, thinking it was Dr.N before answering the call.

"Ah, Louisa there you are." Slander said on the other side.

"What are you three idiots doing here?" Louisa asked crossly. "Are you lost again? 'Cause if you are then I'm not coming to help you. Besides, we're in the middle of something here."

"But Louisa, we've found the Kentrosaurus!" Tred said, turning the Scanner and showing the Jurassic Herbivore eating some leaves from one of the bushes. "We're not gonna battle it, we've just called to tell you we've found it."

"Well, looks like they did something right for a change." Rod said. "Judging by how we're here and the Kentrosaurus' all the way over on the other side of the park, we'll never get there in time before the D-Team shows up."

"Wait Rod, I've got an idea." Laura said, holding her Scanner. "We're close to a gorge with very rocky walls that are hard to climb. If we can lure the Kentrosaurus into the gorge we can battle it and it can't escape."

"Good plan sis." Rod said, turning to Louisa. "Louisa, Laura and I'll be in the gorge ready to battle it, Slander, Tred and Cursula'll try and herd the Kentrosaurus to the gorge with some of the Hybrids."

"That's a great plan, Rod and Laura." Louisa said, before telling the H-Team. "You three get it to the gorge and don't screw up or I'll be feeding you three to Atrocious!" Louisa threatened before hanging up. "Let's get to that gorge."

The three kids hopped on their scooters and raced to the gorge.

Once the H-Team knew the plan they were a little nervous.

"This time we have to get the plan right, or we'll be done for!" Tred shuddered.

"Louisa said that if we screw up, then she'll feed us to Atrocious." Slander shivered.

"Okay then we'd better get to it." Cursula said, taking the Scanner from Slander's hands. "We've got to herd that Kentrosaurus towards that gorge, we passed on our way here."

"HYBRO SLASH! COME ON OUT MONOSTEGOTOPS, PACHYGALOSAURUS, SPINOTASUCHUS AND EDMONTOGUANODON!"

"All four of you surround the Kentrosaurus and herd it out of this forest!" Cursula said, once the four Hybrids landed.

"You got it!" All four replied before charging.

The Kentrosaurus looked up from her feeding and saw the four Hybrids heading for her. Knowing she can't handle them all alone, the Kentrosaurus took off running as fast as she could. The Hybrids quickly took up positions to surround her. Mon Tops and Berserker were on her left while Lyle and Martyin were on her right.

The four Hybrids herded the Stegosaurid out of the forest and out onto the open savannah. The H-Team followed on some quadbikes they'd stolen from the rangers.

"At least we can see where we're going now." Tred said. "But which way is it to the gorge?"

"We need a Pterosaur's eye view and quickly too!" Slander said.

"Go Aerial Ankylo!" Cursula said, as Fyre appeared in the air. "Fyre! Do you see any gorges where we are?"

"Let me see." The Pterosaur Hybrid said she looked to her left before she saw one and the Hybro Scooters entering it. "It's just a few miles east from here! Rod, Laura and Louisa have just gone down it now!"

"Then we're heading east!" Lyle roared, as he snapped his jaws at the Kentrosaurus making her turn to the east. "Let's stay on her tail!"

"And we'll send her to her doom!" Mon Tops roared, as the Hybrids started herding the Kentrosaurus towards the gorge.

Meanwhile the D-Team and Johanna were not too far from where the Kentrosaurus was and had figured out the Hybro Gang had found her again.

"There she is!" Zoe gasped, seeing through her goggles. "Oh no but the Hybro Gang's got her surrounded!"

"Then we've gotta get there and help her before they complete their plan!" Rhysa said.

"Let's go Chomp and you too Terry!" Max said, recalling his partners.

"You too Ace and Tank!" Rex said, recalling his partners.

"Same for you Paris and Spiny!" Zoe said, recalling her partners.

"DINO SLASH! TRICERATOPS, ROAR! FLAME UP TYRANNOSAURUS!"

"DINO SLASH! CARNOTAURUS, BLOW THEM AWAY! SHAKE 'EM UP SAICHANIA!"

"DINO SLASH! PARASAUROLOPHUS, BLOOM! GUSH OUT SPINOSAURUS!"

"DINO TECTORS ON!"

From where Fyre was she could hear the sound of several more roars and saw the D-Team's Dinosaurs charging towards them.

"Uh oh! Heads up team! We've got company!" The Pterosaur called.

"It's the D-Team again!" Berserker growled.

"Well this time, we're not gonna let them ruin the plan!" Cursula said, grabbing Move Cards. "Go Night Slashers, Zooming Strikers and Tapejalo Attack Squad!"

"HYBRO TECTOR ON!"

The Indoraptors, Secondontognathuses and the Tapejalosauruses appeared in a purple glow with their armour on and in front of the D-Team's Dinosaurs.

"Let's get them Phantom!" Midnight growled.

"Time to zoom them away from here!" Spear chuckled.

"Attack the enemy troopers!" Arrow hissed.

The Hybrids charged and then began their Moves.

Midnight and Phantom charged towards Paris and Spiny before suddenly they disappeared in a blanket of darkness. Paris and Spiny looked in all directions to try and see them, but then the two Hybrids started attacking them with their claws extended and as black as the night. They repeated the process several times before slashing the Parasaurolophus and Spinosaurus again, sending the two crashing to the ground.

Spear, Skye, Scout, Sage, Sable and Saffer came running towards Ace and Tank like a bunch of speeding bullets. Then they surrounded the two Dinosaurs and then the Hybrids began to strike Ace and Tank like they were arrows on all sides. Then all six struck the Carnotaurus and Saichania together and knocked them away like a pair of bowling pins.

Arrow, Lance, Cutter, Minerva and Brea then flew straight towards Chomp and Terry and then they suddenly made clones of themselves before they started flying around them and they began to lift Chomp and Terry into the air. Once they were high enough, the clones began biting them from all angles before they stopped flying and the clones disappeared and made the Triceratops and Tyrannosaurus Rex crash hard onto the ground on their backs.

"They're trying to wear us down!" Rex gasped. "Rhysa, you're gonna have to go on ahead with Johanna to save the Kentrosaurus while Max, Zoe and I try to hold off the Hybrids! It might be our only chance to save the Kentrosaurus!"

"Okay Rex! Just be careful!" Rhysa said, before Johanna drove the jeep off towards the gorge full speed.

"Stop them!" Midnight growled, before being tackled by Terry.

"We're your opponents! Not her!" The Tyrannosaurus roared.

Phantom saw the T-Rex distracted and tried to launch a sneak attack, but Max saw him and prepared a counter move. "Tag Team!"

Pawpaw appeared behind Terry and tackled the Hybrid to the ground. "If you're gonna hurt Mr.Terry then you'll have to get past me!"

"Thanks Pawpaw." Terry said.

"I think it's time to see how Pawpaw's Element Booster works." Max said, grabbing Pawpaw's Element Booster as his Dino Holder revealed an area under the Element Booster Max had attached to his Dino Holder.

"ELEMENT BOOSTER! DINO TECTOR ON!"

He attached it under his Element Booster and then Pawpaw's Card appeared on the screen with armour on.

Pawpaw glowed too, but red as in a dimension of fire, a circle of fire appeared around the Pawpawsaurus, as a bright red circle appeared on his forehead, then fire came bursting out of his sides as one circle appeared on either side of him, then the one on his forehead shone brightly, as suddenly shoulder blade red coloured armour appeared on his shoulders on each side, as more armour appeared on his sides working its way down from his front to his tail, finally armour appeared on his forehead like a helmet, the Pawpawsaurus roared at the sky as he reared up on his hind legs and then slammed them against the ground and posed as fire erupted all around the dimension.

Midnight and Phantom were shocked for a moment before they snapped out of it and moved in to tackle the Pawpawsaurus together. But Pawpaw stood his ground, met the two in a headlock before the small Ankylosaur managed to shove the two Hybrids away. Phantom crashed into a boulder and Midnight slid on her side across the grasslands.

"Metal Wing!" Zoe called, slashing her Move Card. "And Futaba Super Cannon!"

Jettly and his team appeared and blew the Tapejalosauruses by just flying above them while Futaba appeared and blasted the Secondontognathuses with his Super Cannon.

"DINO TECTORS ON!"

As the battle between the D-Team and the Hybro Gang's Assistant Hybrids went Rhysa and Johanna were now following the Hybro Gang as their Hybrids still had the Kentrosaurus surrounded.

"I don't understand." Giganto said. "They've got the Kentrosaurus surrounded, but they're not attacking her."

"That's because they're herding her into a trap!" Brontina gasped. "They're chasing her towards that gorge, so they can attack her with all they've got!"

"We've gotta stop them!" Rhysa said.

Meanwhile Louisa, Rod and Laura were in the gorge and looked at the steep crumbly walls.

"You're right Laura, these walls are hard to climb up." Louisa said.

"And there's no way that the Kentrosaurus can climb out to escape." Rod said. "All we need to do is wait for her to come to us."

"We don't have to wait for long now." Laura said, looking at her Scanner. "She's coming this way."

And Laura was right, the H-Team and their Hybrids were chasing the Kentrosaurus to the gorge's edge. Seeing she was about to head to a bad fall, she prepared her second Move Card. As soon as the Kentrosaurus got close to the edge, a large crystal appeared on her tail, gaining speed she jumped off the edge of the ledge as the crystal grew several times in size, before she slammed her tail in the ground to stop the fall from doing serious damage.

"The Kentrosaurus used Gigarock Hammer to prevent herself from taking damage." Louisa gasped.

"Well we've got her now and right where we want her too." Rod said, getting his Scanner out.

"Now let's get our Dinosaur back in her card and then head home." Laura said, mimicking her brother.

"HYBRO SLASH!"

"APATOSAURUS! DESTROY!"

"COME ON OUT AND TAKE HER DOWN TYRANNOSAURUS AND TRICERATOPS!"

"GET THAT KENTROSAURUS, CERAZINOSAURUS AND GIGANOCEPHALUS!"

Brontikens, Gigas, Maximus, Empress and Madeline appeared and tackled the Kentrosaurus to the ground.

"Looks like Rod, Laura and Louisa are now battling the Kentrosaurus." Lyle said, as he and the other Hybrids watched from on top.

"We'll let them handle it from here." Mon Tops said. "We have more important things to deal with."

"Like them!" Fyre said, seeing Stiggy, Stigga, Dread, Tracker, Brontina and Giganto charge with their armour on.

"We just need to hold them off and then victory is ours!" Berserker said, before they charged for Rhysa's Dinosaurs.

Back at the fight the Kentrosaurus had taken hits from both Empress' Tail of Ankylosaurs and Madeline's Claw Slash Blades, before readying Crystal Crusher and aiming for Brontikens.

"Gigas Spectral Lancer and Maximus Spectral Punisher!" Laura called swiping their Move Cards.

Gigas and Maximus had their crystals appear and they charged for the Kentrosaurus before they engaged in a struggle, until the Kentrosaurus' crystals shattered allowing Maximus to toss her in the air before firing her lasor at her and the before she hit the ground Gigas caught her in his lances and rammed her into the wall.

"That's the way we smack them about you two!" Rod said. "Now Spectral Destroy!"

Brontikens charged up his attack before he fired his lasor at the Kentrosaurus struggling to get back on her feet. The Stegosaurid couldn't react quick enough and was struck by the Apatosaurus' attack. The Kentrosaurus roared in pain before she collapsed on the ground and returned to her card.

"We've got her!" Louisa said, picking up the Cards.

"Now it's time to go home!" Rod said, as they got back on their Hybro Scooters, and recalled Brontikens, Gigas, Maximus, Empress and Madeline back to their cards.

"Looks like Rod, Laura and Louisa got the Dinosaur." Cursula said, as she and her colleagues quickly took off on the quads. "Now's the time we get out of here!"

Louisa, Rod and Laura exited the gorge and Rhysa could see the Kentrosaurus Card and Move Cards in her hands. "No! They've got her!" Rhysa cried, and then got out her Dino Holder. "Max! Rex! Zoe! The Hybro Gang's got the Kentrosaurus!"

"What?" The three gasped. They were only more sure when suddenly all the Hybrids were called back to their cards and the Hybro Craft flew over them.

"They're gonna get away!" Tank cried.

"Jettly! Tornado! Flyer! Stop them!" Paris cried. "Quickly!"

"We're on it-" Jettly never finished his sentence when he was suddenly struck in his right wing by Slander's gun making him shriek in pain. Tornado and Flyer were soon shot in their right wings too and the Pteranodon trio crashed to the ground.

"We've gotta stop them!" Chomp shouted, charging up a Move Card. "Lightning Strike!" Chomp fired Lightning Strike at the sky hoping to hit the aircraft, but at the last second the aircraft went into hyperspeed back to Zeta Point.

"NNNNOOOOOOO!" The D-Team's Dinosaurs cried.

Paris quickly used Nature's Blessing on the Pteranodons healing their injured wings, before they were all recalled back to their cards and the D-Team's Dinosaurs were returned to chibi-form.

"They got Kentrosaurus!" Max said, in frustration.

"How could we let that happen?" Chomp asked.

Before anyone could answer him, they all turned to see Rhysa on her knees crying like she was back in Oklahoma.

"Rhysa?" Rex asked.

"Are you alright?" Zoe asked.

"NO!" Rhysa yelled. "We should've seen their plan! If one of us got to the gorge we could've saved her! We failed her and now she's gonna be tortured until she dies!" Rhysa then yelled out in sadness her voice could be heard across the whole park. "KENTROSAURUS!"

Once they returned to Zeta Point, Rod, Laura and Louisa showed the Cards to Seth and Dr.Wu.

"You've done very well." Seth said. "Both the Kentrosaurus as well as the Crystal Crusher and Gigarock Hammer Move Cards."

"If you three keep this up, we'll soon find the rest of the cards and then get the rest back from the D-Team." Dr.Wu said.

"You should've seen the look on Dr.N's face when I told him, Cursula, Slander and Tred had succeeded in capturing the Kentrosaurus." Louisa said. "He was beaming with joy."

"Yes and Louisa, take this." Dr.Wu said, handing his daughter a Move Card. "It's something that can help on your next mission."

Louisa took the card and saw it had another Hybrid biting into the leg of a Sauropod Dinosaur ejecting venom into it.

"This is perfect Dad. And we won't let you down!"

Sadly the mood at the D-Lab was not as joyful as the mood at Zeta Point. When the kids returned they told everyone what had happened.

"Sounds to me like you guys got a close up look at a Kentrosaurus." Dora said.

"Yeah, but unfortunately the Hybro Gang got away with her Card and Move Cards." Spiny said.

"Who knows what that evil doctor will do to the poor thing." Paris shuddered.

"Don't worry Paris, we'll have a chance to get that card back." Reese said.

"By the way, where's Rhysa?" Alicia asked.

"She said she was going to go for a walk by the lake." Tracker said.

"We asked if we could come, but she said she wanted to be alone." Dread said.

"I think she's taking these recent losses pretty badly." Max said. "She was completely sad when the Hybro Gang got both Saurophaganax and Kentrosaurus."

"Oh dear, that's not good to hear." Diego said. "I hope she gets over it soon."

Meanwhile Rhysa was in the park standing in the same spot she was in the morning before she was called. She was looking at her reflection in the water, but she was crying as she was now very sad. She had not only seen one but two innocent Dinosaurs getting captured by the Hybro Gang and now she was blaming herself.

"Why am I so stupid?" Rhysa cried. "First I didn't see through that showdown in Oklahoma and now I didn't figure out their plan before it was too late!" She then kicked a rock into the lake before she took out her Dino Holder and looked at the stone. "Why did it have to choose me? Maybe I'm the reason we're losing Dinosaurs to them. Maybe I should quit the D-Team."

"This is not looking good for the good guys."

"First they've lost the Saurophaganax and now they've lost the Kentrosaurus!"

"Not to mention she's taking these losses very badly."

"Perhaps now we should enter the fray?"

"No! We can't enter the fray yet."

"But-"

"I know we're all angry at our siblings for what they're doing, but right now we must remain incognito for the time being."

"Yes sir."

"Seth! You think you can use my grandkids for your own purposes, well when we enter the fray, you're gonna pay for what you've done to us!"

Rhysa arrived at the D-Lab once the others left, then pulled out her camera and started recording the Herd, as the Kentrosaurus appeared on the screen with the Herd in the background. As the Card flipped to the side, the Herd came into full focus.

"So the Hybro Gang made off with the Kentrosaurus this time. But our Herd still consists of 84 different Dinosaurs, and there's still a lot more rescues to go. I just hope I don't mess up the next mission."

A/N: Sadly the villains have gotten away with the Kentrosaurus, but don't worry the D-Team'll get her back.

The Animals attacking Tartarus is something that came to me while writing the chapter. The Giraffaes, Hippos and Elephants doing those attacks on Tartarus are from the first episonde from Season 2 of Dinosaur King while in the Cretacous Period and fighting Terry an Ampelosaurus, Styracosaurus and Pachycephalosaurus helped Chomp to wear him down. Which is where I came up with the idea for the Animals to attack Tartarus.
