"So you're being strangely cryptic as you wrap your magic hair around my injured hand." Rin said.
"Sorry." Cairstiana said.
"Just don't...don't freak out." Cairstiana said, as the golden light glowed from her hair.
His hand was healed.
"Ahhh!" Rin said.
"Don't freak out." Cairstiana said.
"Ahhh. I'm not freaking out, are you freaking out? Oh that's very interesting hair. In the back of me, why is it possessed? It's..how long has it been doing that?" Rin said.
"Forever, I guess. Father said when I was a baby people tried to cut it. They wanted to take it for themselves. But, once it's cut. It turns brown, and looses it's power. A gift like that, it has to be protected. That's why Father never let me...That's why I...I never left the...You never left that tower." Cairstiana said.
"And you're still gonna go back?" Rin said.
"No...yes." Cairstiana said. "It's complicated. So, what about you, huh?"
"Ah yeah, well. I'll spare you the sob story. But Satan's MY dad. My mom was a witch. Gehenna was our home, and I loved my mom. But he ditched her for the flower. For you."
"Was he a demon too?" Cairstiana asked.
"Yeah. He's the biggest demon in Gehenna. And he's my Dad, so I know what he's like. You shouldn't go back. He's using you.."
"Ahh, you wouldn't want that." Cairstiana said. "Cuz you don't want him to be happy."
Rin sighed. "I don't think he's capable of feeling anything but greed and pride."
"What about the other seven deadly sins then?" Cairstiana said sarcastically.
"He's got all of em." Rin laughed. "He's manipulative too. I'm much better so…stay with me."
Carstiana gasped. "I…I have to think about it. He is my dad after all."
"Mine too." Rin laughed. "And you…you're no demon."
"My hair kills." Cairstiana said. "He makes me use the magic to rejuvenate him and it requires a sacrifice. That crown you gave me saves them…"
"That settles it." Rin kissed her cheek. "You're never going back to that tower. I forbid it."
In contrast to when her father said those words, this made her feel warm and loved. The feeling she had always wanted from her father, but from this man…it was so much better, filling her with an exciting passion she couldn't describe!
"Yes Rin!"
Flush with happiness, she kissed him!
