Back at the hospital for treatment day 3 tests

She has been sleeping Belle said. Ok I will be back in an hour to start the tests Jenny said. Ok Belle said. Hello Adam said. Hey dad Ben said. How is she Adam asked. She says she's ok Ben said. Ben what do you think Adam asked. Well I know she don't want us to worry but I worry about her all of the time Ben said. And you have a right to worry Adam said. They talked for an hour. Hello Jenny said. Hi Mal said. I will tell you all of the tests and how they are performed Jenny said. Ok Mal said. The first test is a blood test Jenny said. Ok I know how that that one is performed Mal said. Ok the next test is a ct sacn Jenny said. Ok Mal said. For the ct you will lay on a bed that slowly moves through the gantry while the x-ray tube rotates around the you, shooting narrow beams of x-rays through the body Jenny said. Ok how long will it take Mal asked. 30 minutes Jenny said. Ok Mal said. 30 minutes later. The next test is a Lumbar puncture for this one I will give you a sedative Jenny said. Ok Mal said. You will lie on your side with your knees drawn up to your chest.Then a needle is inserted into your spinal canal in your lower back to collect cerebrospinal fluid for testing you won't fell anything after you wake up you might have some back pain Jenny said. Ok Mal said getting closer to be she was terrified. It's ok I will be right here Ben said. Ok Mal said as the sedative put her to sleep. Ok so this test will take about 30 minutes to an hour Jenny said. Ok we will go get something to eat Adam said. I can't leave I told her I would be right here Ben said. I will go get it what do you all want Adam asked. Anything is fine Evie and Ben said. Ok Belle What do you want Adam asked. How about that sandwich shop down the road they have soups you could get Mal a soup Belle said. Ok I will be back Adam said. Ok see you later Belle said. 30 minutes later. So I got the sandwiches and went and got drinks Adam said. What did you get Belle asked. I got you a club sandwich with sweet tea, I got Ben a ham sandwich with a sweet tea, I got Evie a BLT and a sweet tea and I got Mal some potato soup and sweet tea I got her a water to Adam said. Mal should start to wake up soon I put a rush on the test results so I should have them back by the end of the day or tomorrow Jenny said. Ok can she eat when she wakes up Belle asked. She has always had be aware she learned how to not sleep intel she really felt like she needed it and even then we would have to take her to our hide out and make get sleep she has gotten better being here where she has the love she has always needed Evie said. She never has to worry about us hurting her Belle said. She knows you guys won't hurt her it hard for her to open up and let someone in if she dose then she loves and trusts you Evie said. If her Blood counts look good and she don't sit in big group of people I don't see why not and if she up for on Monday if her blood counts look good she can go back to school I would start with half days Jenny said. Yeah the chemo is working and if her blood counts look good she can go back to school on Monday half days and she can go to your game Belle said. She will be happy Ben said.
