Dunsparce519: Without Heather, Eva didn't get her electronic device stolen. Scott targeting Anne Maria was for the sake of the plot.

Deadpoollover77: Me too.

WarriorTwin: Thank you.

acosta perez jose ramiro: We're tapping into Eva's potential this season.

Killer Bass: Damien, Eva, Geoff, Jasmine, Katie, Priya, Rodney, Sadie, Sam, Scott

Screaming Gophers: Brick, Chase, Gwen, Izzy, Justin, Millie, MK, Ripper, Sky, Trent

Episode 4: Dodgebrawl

"Last time, on Total Drama Island! The Killer Bass kicked butt in the Awake-a-Thon when Gwen took a snooze and the Screaming Gophers took their first loss. Harsh."

"Rodney developed a crush on Eva, but soon changed his attractions to someone else, and Scott pocketed Anne Maria's hairspray and sat back to watch the fireworks. Nicely played, Scott."

"Even though Anne Maria is tough and someone not to be messed with, in the end, it was her anger issues and attachment to her items that got her kicked off. She became the second camper to rock the Boat of Losers."

"Who will break the rules of the game? Will Scott be able to stay awake until the end of the episode? And who will take the next humiliating walk down the Dock of Shame? Stay tuned for the most dramatic campfire ceremony yet, on, Total! Drama! Island!"

(Theme Song)

The episode opened to the Mess Hall where the teenagers were eating breakfast. The Screaming Gophers were all well-rested and happy, though Gwen was not present. As for the Killer Bass, they were feeling the same way as the Gophers, with the exception of a sleep deprived Eva.

"Eva!!" the voice of Chris said, causing her to get her head off the table and face him. "You look like crap, dude!"

"Shut up!" Eva mumbled to the host and plopped her head down.

"Eva stayed up for a lot of hours," Katie said. "Of course she'll still be sleepy."

"Wow. Four nights with no sleep? How much are you hurting?" Chris teased.

"Do you want to find out?!" Eva threatened.

"No no! It's cool. It's cool," Chris said calmly as he saw Eva's teammates either watching in fear or hiding under the table.

Confessional: Eva

"I could've handled that better, but Chris was purposefully ticking me off," Eva claimed. "He's lucky I'm extremely tired right now, or I would've had the energy to give him an uppercut to the chin."

Confessional Ends

"Hey everyone, it's Gwen!" Chris announced the goth sulking tiredly, causing the Gophers to cheer and clap.

"I'd throw a celebration for her, but clapping is okay," Brick told Justin.

Gwen made her way to her seat, and after she sat down, she fell asleep on her face, much to the concern of her team.

Confessional: Brick

"Voting off Anne Maria was a reasonable option considering how she messed up our cabin," Brick told the audience, "but in doing so, we lost a bit of muscle that the team has right now."

Confessional: MK

MK was moving the camera until she noticed it filming. "Oh! Sorry! Hi!" She chortled for a second. "Not here to confess, even though I did so before." She got close up to the camera while saying that part. "Just want to see how the confession camera…" she yanked out the USB cord, "works!"

"Here's how it's gonna go down!" The techno revealed a phone. "I'm gonna use one of my phones I smuggled here to download and watch everyone else's confessionals!" She plugged the cord onto the phone and it started to download. Afterwards, she unplugged the cord. "Oh, just to be clear, I only want to hear what everyone else is saying." She put the cord back to where it was. "I'm gonna flash forward through them actually using the bathroom!" She got closer to the camera. "I'm not a weirdo."

Confessionals End

"Okay, campers, listen up!" Chris said to both teams. "Your next challenge begins in ten minutes! And be prepared to bring it!"

The footage cut to the campers, Chris, and Chef Hatchet inside a large glass box on the beach.

Eva was the last person to enter. She placed her body on the lower bench, causing everyone to notice. "Let one of you wake me up. It will be ugly," she told everyone before napping.

"I can't believe how brutal the Awake-a-Thon was for her," Geoff sighed.

A whistle blew, and Chef Hatchet, who was wearing a referee's uniform, walked across the court and looked at the contestants with disgust until he stopped next to Chris and a pile of red balls.

"Today's challenge is the classic game of dodgeball," Chris explained as he held up one of the balls. "The first rule of dodgeball is?"

"Don't talk about dodgeball?" MK quipped, causing Ripper to laugh silently.

"As I was saying, if you get hit with the ball," Chris spun the ball in his hands and shot it at Damien, causing him to moan, "you're out."

"I wasn't ready!" Damien ranted and tossed the ball back to the host.

Chris caught the ball. "If you catch the ball, the thrower gets sent out and the catcher gets to bring in another team member out on the court."

"Throwing balls," MK muttered. "That won't be hard at all."

"Okay, now Geoff, try to hit me!" Chris threw the ball at Geoff and he caught it. "If you're holding a ball, you can use it to deflect a ball, but, if it knocks the ball out of your hands, you're out."

"How many rounds does everyone have to play?" Sam raised his hand.

"The maximum is two out of five, but you can choose to do three, four, or all the rounds if you'd like," Chris informed. "You have one minute until game time! Both teams will have to pick five people to sit out at the start."

The scene cut to the Screaming Gophers. "We have to keep our heads up," Sky instructed. "The Killer Bass will be trying hard to beat us today."

"Exactly," Chase agreed and saw Gwen still looking tired. "Since Gwen's still tired, she should sit the first round out. Who else wants to sit out with her?"

"I'll do it," MK volunteered and got out of their way. "I'm working something out and I want my brain to be fresh on the court."

Confessional: MK

"I'm not a big fan of sports. Technology is more suitable for me," MK said. "Who wants to break their foot kicking a soccer ball or fracture their hand spiking a volleyball?"

Confessional: Chase

"I gotta say, Gwen is super amazing," Chase confessed. "She was able to stay up for several days! The most I stayed awake was 48 hours, and I was going for the world record of not sleeping for a week. Anyway, Gwen has guts, and that's something I admire in a girl."

Confessionals End

The first players were revealed: Jasmine, Katie, Priya, Rodney, and Sam for the Bass, and Brick, Chase, Millie, Ripper, and Sky for the Gophers. The rest of the campers are seated on the benches.

"You Gophers are going down!" Katie shot at them. "My team has an experienced dodgeball player on their side."

"I'd like to see how your dodgeball expertise can match up against my athletic training," Chase countered.

"Both teams ready!?" Chris announced. "Best of five games wins! Now, let's dooooodge some ball!"

Chef blew his whistle to start the first match, and the benched campers cheered.

Brick, Millie, and Ripper picked up balls for the Gophers, staring at their opposites Katie, Rodney, and Sam. Rodney made the first throw; it shot towards Ripper but he dodged and sent a fierce dagger at the country boy. Ripper picked up a ball and threw it at Rodney, but he dodged as well.

"You did good, but they have nice dodging skills," Millie talked to Ripper. During this, Katie charged and threw her ball at Ripper, causing him to fall to the ground and the camera cut to Chef blowing his whistle and signaling for Ripper to leave the field. The score was 4-5 in favor of the Killer Bass. The Bass on the benches began to cheer again while Ripper went to sit on the bench. Chef blew his whistle again.

"Playing 'Dodge Master 1' has taught me how to throw a ball with perfect accuracy!" Sam declared with a ball in his hands.

"Alright then," Millie walked closer to the line. "Let's see your skills."

Sam spun the ball in his hands and threw it, but it landed on the ground. The ball rolled over to Millie's feet, and she picked it up. Sam ran away from her with a scream, but the ball collided with him and sent him crashing into the wall.

Chef blew the whistle again, and both teams were at 4. "That was so fun!" Millie said as she high-fived Chase.

Katie picked up her ball next as Brick walked up to throw one of his own. "Allow me! I know who my target will be," he said before getting hit in the stomach by Katie's ball.

The Bass celebrated being a point ahead of the Gophers, and a bruised Brick went to sit on the bench.

Confessional: Brick

Brick was holding his stomach. "I think I'm going to need to go to the infirmary after how that dodgeball collided with my stomach," he groaned.

Confessional Ends

Priya picked up a ball and hurled it at Sky, but Chase came to her rescue by catching it, causing Priya to be taken off the court as the score read 3-3.

Chef brought Gwen into the game, and after yawning and scratching her back, she stood up and got on the court. Sky threw a ball at Jasmine, causing her to avoid it and chuck a ball of her own at her… only to hit Gwen square in the face and knock her down.

Jasmine winced at the misfortune. "Sorry!" she shouted out.

Gwen got helped up by Millie, and Chef signaled for Gwen to take a seat.

The footage flashed and at this point, it was now Katie and Rodney for the Bass facing Chase and Sky for the Gophers. Chef blew his whistle and the game started.

Chase threw two balls at Rodney. The country boy dodged the first one but got struck in the belly with the second one. He got off the court, leaving Katie as the sole Bass left against the two Gophers.

Sky and Chase were smirking at Katie, causing her to tremble as Brick told the Gophers, "She's an easy out. Don't miss her."

Katie looked at her ball, and after tossing it up, she shot it at Sky's belly, causing her to bend over in pain.

"She really is a dodgeball girl," Chris told the camera.

Chase grabbed two balls and aimed them at Katie's direction one by one. This prompted Katie to catch the balls and throw them back. The first one nailed Chase's head and the second was aimed towards his crotch, making the daredevil fall to his knees.

Chef signaled the match's end, the scoreboard reading 1-0 as the Killer Bass cheered. Katie received a high-five from Sam as she rejoined her team.

The footage cut to the Gophers having a team discussion on their bench. "I know we can beat the Bass," Brick told the team. "We just need to work harder."

"They have Katie on their side," MK said. "Of course we're going to try hard."

"I have an idea for the next game," Chase said.

Confessional: Chase

"Back home, I'm part of the dodgeball team," Chase admitted. "Throwing and dodging balls is tough, but I've learned how to take out my opponents with just one ball."

Confessional Ends

The camera cut to the Bass. "Alright, benchwarmers, it's your turn," Jasmine said to them.

"Cool. I can't wait to dodge and throw some balls," Geoff cheered.

"Everyone needs to do their part," Jasmine said. Sadie raised her hand to play, causing the Outback girl to nod.

The next players were revealed. The Gophers had Brick, Izzy, MK, Ripper, and Trent out on the court as Brick held their balls. On the other side, the Bass had Geoff, Jasmine, Katie, Sadie, and Scott.

The whistle was blown, and with brute force, Brick threw all the balls up and punched them one-by-one. The four Bass members dodged the balls, but Jasmine was too late and was shot in the head, giving her a bruise.

"My apologies!" Brick apologized and went over to her.

The shot went to Brick looking blurry in Jasmine's vision. "Brick? Is that you?" The cadet helped her up. "How does my face look?"

Brick's expression was filled with uneasiness. "I'm going to be honest with you," he said before the camera revealed Jasmine's bruises on her cheeks. "Your face contains multiple bruises."

Jasmine felt her bruises. "That's not good."

"It wasn't my intention to injure you. I only wanted to take you out of the game," Brick stated and Scott took the opportunity to throw his ball at Brick's stomach, causing the scores of both teams to be even.

"Since we're not playing anymore, we should go to the infirmary and get our bruises checked out," Jasmine said.

"Got it," Brick said and they walked together.

"Don't be gone for too long!" Sam told the two as they passed him.

"Are we gonna stand here like statues or what?" MK insulted her team and grabbed a ball. "Let's play!" She hurled her ball and took out Sadie and Katie. Ripper took out Scott and Izzy took out Rodney.

"Wow," Chris chuckled as the country boy hit the ground. "That one's worth an instant replay." The clip of Rodney being struck in the face was shown again, moving according to the host's commands. "Forward...okay, rewind...forward...rewind...forward...rewind...forward...rewind...and pause! That's gonna leave a mark."

The shot cut to the four members of the Killer Bass still on the floor. The whistle was blown, and the score was 4-0. "Let's see those Bass try and beat us now!" MK said.

"MK, what you said wasn't sportsmanlike," Millie said to the techno.

"Spend more time on supporting the team rather than putting down others," Sky scolded.

"Whatever," MK rolled her eyes.

Confessional: MK

"They lost this round, and given that one of their strongest players is in the infirmary, I see the Bass as today's losers," MK stated in her confessional."

Confessional Ends

(Commercial Break)

The camera cut to the Bass on the bench. "I know we should stay positive, but I also know we're beat," Sam sighed. "One more game, and we could lose the challenge."

"We need someone big and strong and won't forget a single mark," Damien said, causing the team to look at a sleeping Eva.

"Eva?" Sam said. "But doesn't she need her sleep?"

"And she might damage us if we wake her up," Geoff added.

"Yeah, but she's one of our strongest players, and she wants to win as well," Damien stated.

"You've got a point there," Geoff said.

"How are we going to get her up?" Katie asked. "We don't have an alarm clock."

"We'll just need to find a long stick," Damien said.

The shot cut to Eva before panning over to her butt. The Bass were using a stick and poked her in the butt. "We have to go higher!" Sam said to them.

They poked Eva in the nose, and this made her wake up, grab the stick, and snap it in half. "What's going on?" Eva grumbled.

Sam got to her. "We are currently tied in the game. If we lose the next two rounds, we'll be up for elimination."

"No way! We'd be closer to winning if I was awake!" Eva said.

"You can catch up on your sleep later. Right now, we need you," Damien begged. "We'll even let you call the shots in the next round."

"Obviously," Eva agreed. "Alright, Bass! Here's what we're going to do! Take out their best member first!"

Confessional: Damien

"Eva isn't the nicest person around, but she's still pretty deadly," Damien confessed. "That can be useful for us."

Confessional Ends

The third match was presented. Chase, Izzy, Justin, Millie, and Sky for the Screaming Gophers to the Killer Bass' team of Damien, Eva, Geoff, Katie, and Rodney.

After the whistle was blown, Sky and Justin were the first to throw, however, Eva and Damien dodged those balls. Katie caught the balls and gave them to Damien and Eva, leading them to strike Chase first. As the Gophers checked up on Chase, the whistle was blown, and the Bass celebrated their point.

The whistle was blown and the next part of Eva's plan started to play out. They grabbed their balls and threw them all at once. Millie, Izzy, Sky, and Justin got ambushed by the balls.

"How about some more effort out there?" MK apathetically shouted and got scowled at by Izzy and Sky.

The Killer Bass celebrated their win as the benched players came out to congratulate them. "We should keep doing Eva's idea," Damien said. "Sam, you can still sit out."

"I sat the previous two out," Sam protested.

"You're a terrible thrower," Damien brought up. "It won't help us win."

The shot cut to the Gophers. "They beat us this round, so what MK said about us easily winning the challenge is wrong," Chase told the team.

Confessional: MK

"It's not like I'm Oscar the Grouch," MK said as she looked over her phone. "So far, the confessionals haven't been interesting."

Confessional Ends

"How long is it taking Brick to get recovered in the infirmary?" Sky wondered. "I'll go check up on him."

The scene flashed to the infirmary tent where Jasmine and Brick were holding ice packs against their bruises and sitting on chairs. During this time, they managed to have a conversation with each other.

"Crikey!" Jasmine reacted with surprise to something Brick said. "Did that really happen?"

"Positive," Brick nodded. "I spent an hour in the bathroom washing off every single speck of dirt on me."

It was then that Sky opened the curtains and entered. "If your bruises are healed, then why are you two still here?" she asked them.

"We were sharing stories with each other and we lost track of time," Brick admitted.

"Which round are we on anyway?" Jasmine asked.

"We're in the fourth round, and we'd really need your help, Brick," Sky pulled Brick's arm and took him out of the infirmary.

"I better get back to my team as well," Jasmine said before leaving the tent.

The footage skipped ahead to Sky and Brick coming back. "You can play in the next round if you want to," the former made the latter sit down.

"I won't let you down, ma'am!" Brick promised.

"How are we doing?" Sky watched the game and saw Ripper pelted by the balls.

"If you can't tell, we're not doing superb," MK said.

"I'd highly discourage you from being rude to us," Brick grumbled.

Katie was the last member of the Bass to get taken out along with Damien, Geoff, Priya, and Scott. Chef blew his whistle, and the scene zoomed out to show that the Screaming Gophers won the fourth round with Izzy and Justin standing and Millie, Ripper, and Trent on the ground.

The shot cut to Jasmine returning and Eva was quick to notice.

"Why took you so long in the infirmary?" Eva wondered.

"My bruises were taking too long to go away," Jasmine responded.

"There weren't any ice packs there?" Eva asked.

"No. I just had to place a cold fish on my bruises instead," Jasmine answered.

"Okay, this is it!" Chris announced to both teams. "The final tie-breaking game!"

"Go, team, go!" MK insincerely supported her team.

The Bass were all together in a team huddle. "Okay, who's going to go in?" Eva asked first.

"I can go in," Jasmine said. "I did miss out on a few rounds."

"I'd go too," Sam added, "but I'd just be rejected."

"Bass, Gophers! Let's send this sample to the lab, and see what you're made of!" Chris announced. Chef blew his whistle, and the final match began.

Gwen was the first to run towards the balls. She picked one up and tossed it over to Sky, who tossed it to Brick, who tossed it to MK. MK then hurled the ball at Damien, who leapt out of the way.

MK dodged the ball heading her way, and after Brick and Chase threw their balls, Jasmine chucked one at MK, and Priya got hit by a ball afterwards.

MK walked over to the bench and Ripper switched places with the techno. A quick montage of the Gophers switching out teammates played.

"Knock 'em out! You can do it!" MK sarcastically encouraged her team, causing a dodgeball to be thrown at her and knocking her out.

"You know, I can see why you hate sports," Chase looked down at her.

Sadie got off her seat and replaced Rodney. As soon as she was on the court, she got hit in the face. She went back to sit down as people began switching in and out.

Sam was in the middle of being benched until Geoff gave him a ball to participate. He got on the court, but placed himself in the back.

Eva hurled a ball at Chase, and the daredevil held his hands out in order to cover his face. The ball landed on his hands, and Eva was forced to take a seat. "My face was almost damaged!" Chase said in bewilderment.

Geoff, Leshawna, and Scott were all hit. A ball was thrown at Gwen, and Ripper dived in front of her, getting him hit in the groin as he fell out of sight. Damien and Gwen chucked their balls at each other, and they both got benched.

Eventually, it came down to Chase vs. Sam. Chase spun a ball on his finger, and Sam began forming himself into a karate stance. The Gophers were rooting for Chase, and the Bass were doing the same for Sam.

"Sorry I have to hit you," Chase said, "but it'll be a good wipeout."

"Just give it your best shot," Sam smirked.

Chase began running as he held two balls. He hurled them, along with two more balls, and Sam avoided them by ducking and moving to the opposite side.

Chase swung his arm and chucked his last ball at Sam, leading to the gamer moving his body back and watching the ball fly over him and hit the wall.

"Whoa!" MK looked in surprise along with her team.

Jasmine stood next to where Chef was sitting. "Permission to pause the game? We need a time out!" Chef blew his whistle to allow it.

"You've got nice dodging skills!" Damien told Sam, who was wrapped in a towel and drinking from a bottle of water. "Where'd you learn to do that?!"

"I watched some fitness games and the moves came in handy," Sam said.

"Sam, that was awesome, but dodging isn't enough," Geoff teached.

"He's right," Eva agreed. "To win this, you either have to throw him out, which we know you can't do, or catch the ball. Can you do it?"

"Definitely," Sam was on board.

"Now go out there and make us proud!" Jasmine demanded with support.

The camera cut to Chase holding a ball with his team cheering in the background and Sam walked back to the court empty handed. They were both staring at each other and prepared to compete.

"Sam. Sam. Sam. Sam. Sam," the Killer Bass shouted Sam's name.

"This is gonna be extreme!" Chase grinned before throwing the last ball at Sam. Feeling prepared, Sam held his right arm out and caught the ball tightly.

Chef blew his whistle one last time, and the Bass cheered. "The Killer Bass win!" Chris announced.

"Wha-wha-what?!" Chase sputtered in disbelief.

Sam was picked up by his teammates and carried out. "I scored us our second win! Level completed!"

The camera cut to the losing team. "Gophers, what happened?" Chris questioned them.

"We all sucked. Some of us more than others," MK answered, earning nine infuriated frowns from her team.

"Enough already!" Sky shouted and left the field.

"I'm no longer in the mood to take any more of your attitude," Brick said as most of the team started to depart and leave.

"Can they be any more moody?" MK wondered out loud when even Chase got off the court and looked angrily at her. "What's your problem?"

Confessional: MK

"I'm going to vote for Chase when we get to the ceremony," MK revealed her vote. "He's the reason we lost."

Confessional: Sam

"I never once played any of the fitness workout games on my Swii," Sam said, "but since they helped me win today's challenge, I'm going to purchase some of them online."

Confessionals End

The footage cut to the elimination ceremony. "Campers!" Chris said. "You've already placed your votes and made your decision. One of you will be going home. And you can't come back. Ev-er. When you hear me call out your name, come pick up a marshmallow. Ripper."

Ripper smiled and walked up, and the host continued to call out names.

"Millie."

"Brick."

"Trent."

Trent high-fived Justin before claiming his marshmallow.

"Sky."

"Gwen."

"Justin."

"Izzy."

Only Chase and MK were left. "The final marshmallow goes to..."

"Chase."

Chase let out a sigh of relief, and got up to claim his prize.

"Are you joking right now!!" MK sputtered and got up. "Good luck trying to win when the only genius around this team is gone!" She was pelted with marshmallows courtesy of the Screaming Gophers.

"Learn to be more respectful next time!" Sky called her out, earning laughs from the team.

"On the plus side, at least I didn't make any friends with these people," MK started to make her way to the boat.

The scene flashed to Chris by himself. "Alright, so it wasn't the most dramatic campfire ceremony ever. But I still get paid. Bonus!"

Author's Note: Okay this is one of the few times I actually am upset to eliminate a character so soon. Topher and Anne Maria were good characters that were unfortunate to eliminate but MK is in my Top 10, but sadly, this wasn't her season.
