Chapter 8 Darkscream on patrol
Darkscream decided to go on patrol and at the same time look for other energon mines nearby. This time she was in the area where she last picked up the signal and saw the incident that took place between the Autobots and humans. That was strange because until now she had been convinced that humans were just ordinary vermin that could be easily squashed, but it was apparent that this kind was different.
Eight days ago (reference to the episode 'Convoy')
The Autobots were helping Agent Fowler transport the Dynamic Nuclear Generation System,(or the 'Dingus') to the rendezvous point, because his plane had been shot down earlier. Everyone was convinced that Starscream was behind it given how powerful the device was and how serious the damage could be. Transporting it over the Groundbridge was absolutely out of the question so it was decided on an emergency idea to have the device placed in Optimus' trailer, Bumblebee and Bulkhead will make sure that the cargo would be secured in the back while Arcee would be tucked inside for safety if the trailer was opened in the back.
During the drive through the curving road near the cliff, no one knew that the convoy was being watched from above by a helicopter. Agent Fowler spotted and recognized the same one who shot down his plane. The green cars in the back also joined in. Ratchet at the base looking at the monitor didn't detect any Decepticons there, but later it turns out that they are not Decepticons but people, and mainly members of an organization called MECH, who intended to steal Dingus for their own purposes.
On the Decepticons' ship, Soundwave intercepted a communication with Ratchet's recorded voice informing Optimus that five miles south there was a meeting place. Interestingly, their ship wasn't so far away that they could not reach there in flight mode. On the bridge, in addition to Soundwave, Starscream and Darkscream, there were also several Eradicons ready at Starscream's command.
''Find them and crush them,'' - Starscream ordered, turning toward the soldiers.
'' YES, LORD STARSCREAM,''- they all said bowing slightly
Starscream was pleased to finally hear what he was waiting for. He thought for a moment as the Eradicons began to move away and turned to his sister leaning against the wall beside them.
''Darkscream !''
''What's the matter?''- she asked looking at him
''Fly with them and find out about this secret Autobots mission. Also, maybe by the way we can finally find their base''
''As you wish. I was actually about to take a flight anyway ... (catch) …Huh? '' She was stopped by Soundwave's hand at the moment when she wanted to quite past them without stopping . Darkscream didn't expect this and looked questioningly at Soundwave. Starscream also wondered until he finally understood what he meant.
''Apparently, he informed you not to get into a fight but just look around and go back without drawing attention to yourself, '' said Starscream putting one hand over the other.
''Is that what you mean, Soundwave?'' - asked Darkscream, to which Soundwave confirmed, nodding and letting go.
''Yeah, sure. I will stick in the air. Besides, if it satisfies you, I can write everything down later in the report.''
Starscream looked curiously at Soundwave after Darkscream left the bridge.
''Do you have something to her?'' - he asked but Soundwave only walked past and without answering simply stood by the side monitors to go about his business.
''Ehhh... Sometimes, I don't understand him,'' - Starscream muttered to himself, turning back to the huge window overlooking a sky covered with white clouds and those with dark shades.
He believed that Darkscream would be able to cope in the field because, after all, there was no situation yet that the Autobots suspected something. They share information with each other about places where they have recently encountered autobots, and thanks to this they don't have to worry that they will say something at certain moments that will cause the truth to come to light.
Darkscream as a jet flew much faster. Her internal radar perfectly showed signals of not only the Eradicons but also the Autobots. Also interestingly, she picked up some other signals as well. The one flashing green indicated where the energon mine might have been, the blue ones were the Autobots, the red ones were the Decepticons and the white ones were probably other life forms.
She noticed a helicopter flying in front below her so she slowed down the flight and continued, hiding in the clouds. Both the helicopter and the vehicles following and chasing the Autobots were foreign to Darkscream. She was sure that they weren't the Decepticons because there was no one in their ranks who turned into a helicopter and the colors were dark green, not purple. Unfortunately, she couldn't hear anything from downstairs even if some conversations were taking place. She continued to watch everything that was going on although that should be more of a task for Soundwave than for her.
Autobots were just passing through the tunnel. No one knew that the cargo had been transferred to a moving train, and Bulkhead had previously fired at the tunnel entrance to prevent entry. Darkscream flew all the while being on top. She saw the Eradicons flying in a formation resembling the letter "V". They didn't notice her, but Darkscream didn't call them anyway because she wanted to see how they would fare in battle. The soldiers fired rockets at the Autobots, causing Optimus to have to maneuver hard, which resulted in detaching his trailer. Darkscream transformed herself on a high rock shelf. The rocks perfectly masked her and from below no one could see her. However, the same couldn't be said of the helicopter. The Seeker had to quickly come up with something before this will notice her and then she saw that a few meters away from her so almost close to the edge was a tilted rock. She quickly ran up there keeping her wings low and squeezed under the rock. She was fortunate that the boulders were a little bigger then at least she was fully covered. Lying on stomach she watched everything from above.
She turned on her communicator '' Starscream, I'm on the spot '' - she said in a whisper.
'' And what do you see? There are the Autobots too?'' - he asked immediately.
'' Yeah, of course. They had previously transported something in Prime's trailer. Except I don't know what it was exactly, but it was probably nothing explosive.''
'' Can you say something more and by the way a little louder? ''
'' I'm in hiding, Starscream, and I prefer that no one notices me especially that helicopter that flies around all the time.''
'' Wait, what helicopter ?'' - he asked a little startled
''It is less important now. Our soldiers are starting to fight Prime's team. It seems that except for the medic, everyone else is in place.''
'' Perfectly. Watch everything at all times ''
'' And who I am !? Soundwave '' - she asked indignantly
'' You know he can hear everything''.
'' Ahh... Sorry about that... Don't be angry, Soundwave,'' she apologized quickly holding her hand over her face. '''And so probably ... Oh, scrap''
Darkscream quickly silenced when a helicopter flew close to her hiding place.
'' Darskcream , what's going on there ?''
'' Shhhh, wait. I have a little company ''
Darkscream left her communicator on and Starscream could hear every sound that was being made where she was. After a while the sound of the helicopter couldn't be heard so Starscream spoke up.
'' Hey Darkscream, can you talk ? ''
'' Yeah, now I can. '' - Darkscream responded
'' Tell me, what's going on there now? ''
Darkscream began to describe in detail what was happening on the place. Earlier, Starscream asked Soundwave to check the list of Decepticons that have helicopter mode. As it turned out, no one among them had such a mode, and even if there was one, it has certainly been dead for a long time. Starsccream suddenly heard Darkscream laughing and he for a moment thought he said something out loud.
'' Hehehe , this is something I wil never forget (suppressed laughter)...'' - Darkscream put the servo on her lips to refrain from laughing out loud, which would cause her to be detected.
''What are you laughing at there ?''
'' You know Starscream , it's a shame you're not here because one of ours just knocked Prime in the face with a log ''
Starscream upon hearing this, almost kicked one of the control panels and instead walked restlessly and talked his own talk. ''Don't talk... uhhh, I'll regret not going there...'' Starscream chattered like this incessantly until Darkscream finally silenced him
'' Okay but to the point. Should I still be here or can I go back?''
'' For now stay, just don't try to fight. Then we will gather the remains of ours are killed.''
'' Understood ''
The helicopter had long since departed so Darkscream could finally get out from under the rocks. It wasn't a very comfortable position, but she didn't want to draw attention to herself even if it was only people. She recognized this from the conversation that took place between the person in the helicopter and Agent Fowler. Her cloaking device perfectly masked her signal so the Autobots didn't even know that she was there too. The fight was still going on while Optimus was unconscious. Eradicons were much better at shooting than the ground form, but they still lacked good training in hand-to-hand combat.
After 10 minutes Optimus finally woke up but didn't join the fight but set off in pursuit of the train that passed by to stop MECH from taking over the weapons. Earlier, Jack and Miko got inside the train car through by the Groundbridge to direct Raf while he was changing tracks. However this didn't last long, because Raf's laptop was damaged by MECH's trick, thus preventing him from accessing the train's route data. Jack and Miko found themselves in grave danger when the track was blown up less than a mile away. Ratchet couldn't get them out of there without accurate data, so the kids had no way to escape.
Darkscream watched everything that was happening. Now the train was too far away but it was clear that Optimus had managed to stop the train in time before the accident occurred. Now standing on the rocks( the ones she was hiding under before) with her arms clasped crosswise, she didn't realize that at one point Arcee noticed her shadow on the ground .
"Starscream!"
Arcee's shout drew the attention of Darkscream, who immediately moved away as she started shooting at her. The other two, including Agent Fowler, also noticed her. Darkscream had a explicitorder not to engage in combat, so she tried to avoid shots for now and she will transform at the right moment. She jumped off the rock shelf and transformed into a jet looking down on the Autobots from above.
'' Get down here and fight us, coward,'' said Bulkhead hitting his servos as a sign that he was ready to fight again.
" You'll see, Autobot, who will be the first to call who a coward the next time we meet." - she replied in as much a growling voice as Starscream.
After these words, she took off into the air at high speed. Fowler informed Optimus that the Seeker was on the place and had seen everything, and Optimus accepted this information but more in his processor were questions about the MECH. Now it wasn't just the Decepticons who were their enemies but also these people. They had to learn as much as possible about this group as well as their intentions because now they know that there were alien life forms on the Earth that can transform themselves into vehicles.
Five days later (reference to the episode "Deus Ex Machine")
Miko had to stay behind after school to write a history paper which she didn't feel like doing earlier. Bored she couldn't take the drudgery anymore so she just slipped away when the teacher wasn't looking and got into the Bulkhead, who had earlier stopped in front of the school. He reluctantly took her out of there when the teacher came outside, and as they drove toward the base, Bulkhead tried to lecture Miko that such escapes are bad and that if she doesn't pass school, she won't get into college.
Meanwhile, on Nemesis, Starscream stood on the bridge waiting for the arrival of their chief medic Knockout along with his assistant. Starscream wasn't happy with Knockout's late appearance, especially since he had previously sent him a message to come to the ship giving his coordinates. Starscream knew that Knockout was probably having fun racing as usual, or just taking his time, enjoying a good ride. The Seeker despised Knockout's vehicle mode and thought it would be better if he was in airplane mode like himself or Darkscream instead of car mode. However, Knockout believed that his livery looked more beautiful with the rims than if he had replaced them for example long wings.
On the way to the medical bay, Starscream explained Megatron's condition to Knockout and when he opened the door it turned out that Darkscream was inside too . Knockout looked more at the lying Megatron than at her.
'' Woaah?'' - Knockout was surprised . He didn't expect to see Megatron in such a state.
'' I see that our medic has finally found his way. Have you been stuck in traffic jams? '' - Darkscream spoke up with her arms crossed and a serious expression on her face.
'' Ahh yeah, do you still remember my sister ?''
'' It's hard not to forget her since you are as similar as two drops of energon ''
'' That's actually true ''
''Where is Breakdown anyway?'' - asked Darkscream – ''We called you both here.''
''On the way we came across fresh deposits of energon. Breakdown stayed to check it out and then will show up when he finished there. '' - informed Knockout
'' Then we'll wait for him to respond. In the meantime, watch Megatron and see if he can be repaired. Darkscream, come with me ''
''As you command, Commander Starscream," - Knockout said,
'' For you now, Lord Starscream '' - Starscream corrected him
'' Mhm ... so you have already been promoted ? You should wait until we know if...
'' Don't cling to details Knockout only address me as such , understood !
'' Sure ... Commander''. He turned around saying the latter with a laugh
Starscream was shaking with nervousness and wanted to yell at him but Darkscream let him know to leave Knockout to take care of his job. They were walking to the command bridge, and during this Bulkhead along with Miko were in Greece that she could gather information for her work ( she was obviously unhappy ) while Bulkhead was looking for energon.
Breakdown was also there. Seeing Bulkhead and his little companion, they briefly fought each other until Breakdown threw Bulkhead into a painting depicting of a Greek god holding a golden ball, which was actually an Energon Harvester from Cybertron. Breakdown asked for the Groundbridge to be sent to him when he left place and found himself in a room next to a console operated by the Vehicon. He first went to the medical bay where he found Knockout and then they both went to the command bridge. Breakdown relayed what he learned and, in the process, said about the Energon Harvester. While searching the Internet, Soundwave came across a photo showing a statue of a god holding a golden ball. And the best part was that the museum that houses the relic was in Jasper.
Knockout and Breakdown volunteered for the mission, while Soundwave will provide air support. Darkscream wasn't present because she was busy checking energon stocks in warehouses. The mines where energon was last mined were completely stripped of energon and could be marked as vacant. Darkscream had a lot of work to do not only on the floor where she was but also on several others and the warehouses were about ten and they were really big . Interestingly, two of them were exclusively for Megaton (very possibly for dark energon storage) and no one knew the access code to them except him. Soundwave didn't know them either, even if the Seekers guessed he did. Energon was going down fast due to the fact that the soldiers also needed fuel to live.
One warehouse could hold up to five hundred cubes or even more if they are arranged correctly. Darkscream checked three so far and everything was fine however after exiting the elevator after going down two floors to check two more she heard metal hitting metal .
'' What is going on here ?'' - asked Darkscream seeing three worker Vehicons inside.
Those immediately turned around when they saw who was standing in the doorway '' We were just setting up the energon cubes at your command, Lord Starscream''.
Darkscream saw the mess and gasped while holding her head with one servo for a moment . "Alright, first of all, I'm not a Lord, I'm a Commander," she said, showing her scarred right hand. '' And secondly, how did you arrange the cubes that they all fell like that? Do you have any idea that if any cube were higher up, it would explode not only this warehouse, but the whole ship! '' Darkscream started shouting at them and they stepped back and lowered their heads. '' How many times can the same thing be explained to you so that you all finally remember not to build high towers of cubes, but start from the bottom and secure them!''
'' FORGIVE US COMMANDER DARKSCREAM. WE PROMISE TO IMPROVE .'' - said all three.
'' I hope so. Okay, take one cube each from here and go to your place. I can't look at you anymore.
''Yes, Commander Darkscream''
All three left and Darkscream stayed to sort out the scattered cubes. She was furious because again they had to be arranged from scratch just like on the other side. It took long time to embrace this magazine and the last four, which had little or no energon.
It was night
The Energon Harvester takeover plan succeeded without complications for the Decepticons. The Autobots failed to stop them from escaping and the guard caught Miko when she, along with Jack and Rafael tried to confiscate the relic. Now that they had a device in their hands that could absorb energon from any source, the Decepticons didn't have to worry about supplies, especially if the Autobots get in their way.
In the place where Breakdown last met Bulkhead and Miko was dark. Knockout's assistant showed this place to Starscream, and there he was checking the operation of the device he kept in the servo. He had to admit that the ancient Autobots had created a truly remarkable invention. The operation of the device was quite simple and even he had no problem with it.
Bulkhead forgot to tell the rest that besides the painting , there were also deposits of energon in Greece, so he had to be sent there alone while the rest will join later . This will unfortunately take some time due to the fact that everyone was sent to different places on the Earth, and Ratchet was also busy creating a replica of the same golden ball to help Miko break out of the museum. It was also still not possible to count on the help of Agent Fowler because he had some personal business and would not be back until tomorrow .
Bulkhead without waiting long, wanted to sneak up quietly enough first but his attention was drawn to a porcelain vase, which he trampled . The sound caused Knockout and Breakdown to turn around while Starscream continued to suck energon from the dusty crystals. Bulkhead overpowered Knockout and Breakdown, but failed to avoid Starscream's shot with Energon Harvester, causing him to start losing energon. Bulkhead was larger and had a lot more energon than the recumbent Vehicon on which Starscream had previously tested the device, scaring Knockout and Breakdown when he aimed at them. Bulkhead didn't want to let Starscream turn it off so easily therefore with his last strength he rose up and snatched the relic from his hand additionally hitting him in the face. The relic was still working so Bulkhead crushed it and quickly threw it into the sky before it exploded sending energon everywhere in the sky , which then disappeared. The Autobot fell exhausted on its back after that.
When Knockout and Breakdown came to their senses, the GroundBridge portal appeared through which the Autobots came out and started shooting at the Decepticons. Starscream tried to shoot at the Autobots when those drove away but there was too much shots for him to aim. He had no choice but to retreat . He transformed after a slight leap and slammed into the air at high speed . He was upset that the relic had been destroyed.
Darkscream was in the quarters waiting for her brother to return. She had long done her duties and decided to rest. She didn't know what was going on but something felt Starscream would come back angry rather than happy with the mission. Her intuition didn't disappoint her when the door opened. Starscream rushed into the quarters slamming the door and falling forward on his berth.
'' I take it the plan didn't work out again?'' - Darkscream asked, turning her head towards him.
''Don't even tell me ! ... That big fragger destroyed the Energon Harvester before I could use it. I lost the only relic capable of destroying those wicked autobots. – he said frustrated
'' Don't lose faith, Starscream. We will still be able to get back at them in our own way ''
'' What do you mean ?'' - asked Starscream turning his head towards her.
''Think about it. If there was a hidden relic created centuries ago by the Autobots in this facility, there are also relics created by the Decepticons that could have ended up on the Earth.''
Starscream turned on his side ( facing the wall) and thought ''Maybe Darkscream is right. After all, this was a relic belonging to the autobots. The relic created by Decepticon scientists would certainly have more firepower and would certainly defeat the Autobots, especially Optimus Prime.''
'' Hey Darksc...'' Starscream turned to her after a few minutes and quieted down when he saw that she had her optics closed. He was a little surprised that she had fallen asleep so quickly but that was probably due to today's duties .
He smiled and went over to her to cover her with a blanket . Their blankets she made and they were exceptionally warm as their berths which were so comfortable that no extra pillows had to be given to keep their wings from hurting.
Starscream looking at her like this he remembered how she used to wear her scarf which she got from a close friend . He knew that Darkscream didn't wear it so that the Autobots wouldn't find out the truth about her existence , however it was a mystery to him that she didn't wear it outside of the mission or now that Megatron was in stasis . However, he decided to ask her about it another time. He returned to his berth after a while and dimmed the light a little.
The ship stood still hovering in a given part above the ground perfectly camouflaged . Thus giving others time to rest peacefully.
Three days later . Current time
Darkscream didn't have very nice weather when she approached the designated area . All the time it was just raining and thundering, but neither Starscream nor Darkscream was bothered by the rain, but when it comes to lightning, it's a different matter. According to her radar, there were only a few miles left.
'' (Thunder)… (Crackle of lightning ) ..Whoahh , that was close . Oh scrap how I don't like ... ( CRACK!)..Ouch?! ..Ehhh... Lightning bolts!? ''
At one point, one of the lightning bolts unexpectedly hit her on the side, causing a momentary displacement of energy. This was because Darkscream was wet from the rain and the water can conducts current. It wasn't a very strong charge but Darkscream clearly felt it. Her engines didn't stop working but instead her cloaking device was starting to fail and Darkscream didn't know that it went off for a while.
After less than ten minutes, she transformed on the ground and observed her surroundings. Her internal system showed that nothing had been damaged by the lightning strike. There was only a slight burn visible on the side, but it was easily removed. It was wet everywhere and she didn't know where exactly the entrance was because of the rocky mountains surrounding her, which didn't help and actually made it difficult to find the entrance.
She decided to use one of her hidden abilities , which she calls 'Energon Vision' or otherwise 'Optical Scanner'. She could activate it by touching the left side of her head where there was a barely visible small gap ( others would have to get very close to notice ). Just touching is not enough, because Darkscream still has to close the optics and only after touching can she open. No one knew about it except Starscream, and he swore he wouldn't utter a word because, after all, it was a very rare and unusual ability.
Even none of the scanners (we're talking about medical examinations) found anything foreign or strange in her head, which could mean that it was somehow connected to her brain and optics and could not be removed. Just as Darkscream thought.
Although it was mysterious , Darkscream really enjoyed using this skill. With this, she could spot hidden energon without even using a scanner or see the flow of energon on someone and check the amount. The only drawback was that she can't use it in the sunlight, much less in strong light. Contact with light while using this makes her optics hurt and she has trouble seeing and gets headaches too.
After turning it on, her optics began to glow more red. She noticed that the surroundings darkened slightly (she could still see colors, but much paler ) and noticed that the mountain to her left seemed to have shapes like energon inside. Now she knew which part the energon was in, and she just had to find the entrance. She walked forward a bit more checking if there was something on the side. It turned out that almost behind this mountain (when you go straight and look to the left) was an entrance obscured by a huge rock that had probably slid down. It was much larger than Darkscream and did not block the entrance at all. The rain stopped a few minutes ago and the sun began to come out. The Seeker quickly covered her optics and didn't look towards the sun.
The entrance was wide enough that even Optimus could enter by bending slightly. After walking a few steps, the cave widened and inside there were many boulders to hide behind. Darkscream looked around and was very pleased. From the outside she could only see part of the energon but inside there was much more. The cave stretched even farther into the corridor, and light broke through small holes in the walls above making some of the crystals sparkle. After a few minutes, Darkscream restored her normal optics visibility after walking the entire corridor from beginning to end and could now see how many protruding energon crystals there were. There's no denying how pleased she was with the success of the mission and she wanted to inform Starscream right away, but on the one hand she didn't know if he was alone or if Soundwave stayed next to him.
After five minutes of thought, she decided to make a note of the exact location of this cave and to take one of the crystals as evidence. Once outside, the clouds disappeared, showing a blue sky. Darkscream while looking at the sky also looked at the energon crystal held in her left servo, whose color was very similar to the sky. The crystal was the size of her hand and she even saw her reflection in this when she held it in front of her. For a moment she smiled until she noticed a green glow. She was very startled especially since it wasn't the Decepticons' Groundbridge portal.
Thirty minutes earlier
It was quiet at the Autobot base. Kids spent time doing their homework. Miko bragged for a long time that her teacher gave her a B grade on her essay, even though she was supposed to give her grade with minus as a punishment for her last escape. This time, however, she didn't say a word about it after reading the entire written paper and admitted that even though Miko received poor grades, the essay was written in detail, although with errors in some sentences.
After a few minutes, Ratchet noticed that something flashed on the monitor. For a moment a moving energon signal could be seen but then it disappeared again. The map remained on the screen showing the area where the signal was visible.
'' Optimus !'' - Ratchet called him
'' What's going on, Ratchet? Did you find the energon signal ? - asked Optimus approaching him
'' In a way, yes... Except that it disappeared.''
'' Wait ... how disappeared ?" - asked a surprised Arcee.
'' Probably the computer is breaking down again ''
'' Is this the Decepticon? – Bumblebee squealed
'' Possibly . The signal appeared in this place,'' Ratchet pointed to the point where he noticed the signal.
'' So, are we going to kick someone's metal ass? '' - Bulkhead asked, banging his fists together
'' Not yet, Bulkhead . We need to determine …'' Optimus began when he was interrupted.
The computer beeped again, showing the same point, only a few miles away. The Autobots now knew exactly what this area was. Strangely enough, they didn't know why exactly at the place where they last passed , there was a visible signal? They wondered like that for a few minutes until the Groundbridge was charged and ready to be activated. Optimus decided that they should check it out if it turned out to be a Decepticon signal. He and Bumblebee set out on the mission. By the fact that there was only one signal (in addition, on the move) , there was no point in taking everyone. They both crossed the bridge and immediately what caught Bumblebee's optic was someone running toward a hole in the rock. By the wings they could immediately guess it was Starscream though they had to make sure.
Meanwhile, Darkscream ran back in , seeking shelter behind the rocks. She hid the energon crystal in the cockpit and watched who entered the cave. She didn't actually see which of the Autobots exited through the portal although she heard voices at the entrance which she managed to deduce was scout and Optimus. On the one hand it was a relief to Darkscream that only these two were here while the rest were at the base but she still didn't understand how they found her if she had ... And then it dawned on her.
"Oh, scrap," - she said to herself in her mind, being hidden on the top rock, "Probably the cloaking device turned off when I was struck by lightning."
'' Starscream ! '' - Optimus' voice snapped her out of her musings '' I know you're here. Come out and surrender.'' - he said while holding an active blaster.
'' (Heheh) Why should I surrender to you, Prime ?'' - she spoke up in the tone of Starscream behind the boulder ''Don't make me laugh.''
All the time she was watching the steps of Optimus and tried to move on as quietly as possible . Optimus looked at the lower boulders and Darkscream wanted to take the opportunity to move further but suddenly ...
'' Huh ?! Whaaaaahhhh !? (Crash!)''
Darkscream didn't notice that she was standing close to the edge, as a result of which she fell, hitting the floor so that dust began to rise around her.
'' (Cough, cough )... Oh Scrap ... There must always be something ...'' - Darkscream rose to a sitting position leaning on the servos when...
'' (Sound of a loaded blaster !)''
Darkscream watched horrified when Optimus aimed his blaster at her head. She had to think of something quickly or it will be bad. With a servo close to her leg, she secretly touched the floor and felt a thin dust on it. A good idea came to her mind, but she had to be careful that Optimus didn't notice. She decided to pretend not to hear him because of the fall and after a few minutes he was fooled , seeing that she wasn't looking at him, but tapping the receptors. Optimus change his blaster back to servo and just as he was about to grab her shoulder, Darkscream pushed him away and threw a collected handful of dust in his face. Optimus shielded his optics in time, but Darkscream started running out of the cave anyway.
The Seeker was so focused on Optimus that she completely forgot about Bumblebee , who was hiding near the exit . This one was prepared and as soon as Darkscream came out , he jumped on her falling over with her . Darkscream had a device on all the time that masked her femme features as well as her scar, but they were most invisible when she kept her distance. Now she feared that the scout would easily recognize that she wasn't Starscream , so she tried to push him off her.
'' Ehh...Get off me !'' – she shouted at him
'' Try to stop me '' - he squealed
They struggled like this until Optimus came out. Bumblebee managed to hit Darkscream in the face at one point, presumably to stun her, but she pushed him away with her legs and quickly took a few steps back from him. Despite the quick action, Darkscream managed to aim the rocket perfectly over the entrance and thus make the passage collapsed. Darkscream without waiting, transformed and flew away from there, and Optimus and Bumblebee tried to shoot at her but attempts were futile. They had to come to terms with the fact that not only did they let Starscream (Darkscream) escape, but they also lost deposits of energon, which they could have used. What's more, Bumblebee had the impression that the Seeker changed for a moment when he hit him, but that could also have been the fault of the sunlight shining on them.
