Chapter 3:Terrible news
Inside the apartment complex right now roaming the halls was weiss with a few others. They were being lead by her to this music room that she found yesterday. She thinks it might help cheer everyone up right now with some music since it helps her when shes down.
Everytime her father would yell at her or her brothers along with the beating. She would try to change the atmosphere playing on her piano or signing a small tune. It was fun being taught by her mother.
"So weiss where are you leading us. Because you said you found a room containing a bunch of instruments"eria asked impaitnly
"She right because seriously we haven't even explore this place yet. Theirs so much to one simply little apartment complex"perun added amazed still about this place. Along with them was mercury, adam, ren, onxyia and velvet as well.
Onxyia chuckled"well i mean it has its perk. But come on i'm just happy to finally have a break right now. It feels great"she admitted as her tail kept wagging in joy.
"We can tell dog girl. Though sucks sunshine wanted to see her baby cousin more than see me play the piano"merucyr said disappointed as they still didn't believe he could paly.
"Which we still don't buy you can play. Grimmy can play the guitar probably better than eria boyfriend here i bet"velvet said making eria shot her a glance
"Is that a challenge or a threat?"eria asked with a cold tone
The rabbit slightly smiled at her humming"Both. I mean it'll be fun having some music in this place which might do wonder. Though…if he wakes up"velvet sadly replied as this worried her girlfriend. Because all shes done is be upset about him being in another coma.
Though soon enough someone taped her on the head as she winced rubbing it. That someone was nezumi who stared at her as the women was in some csaully attire. Along with by her side was vance,xander and yumi.
"Seriously chill out their rabbit ears. You've been saying that every day since we all came back from the hospital. "Yumi said
Xander nodded"she right and mom says that its normal for this. I mean he just woke up after well uh…"he paused gesturing to ren who ehxaled looking at his empty sleeve shaking his head
"If you think this will bring me down it won't. "Ren reassured which it slightly did.
After some time they soon got to a door as weiss stepped forward. The heiress then gripped the doorhandle twisting it as she threw it open to their shock what was inside the place right now.
As lining the walls of the room where posters and glass cases that contained music albums. Along with that their was a small lounge in the center that had some chairs and loung couches made of leather. Their was also even a small bar area with a variety of mixed drinks and ingredients to make a perfect beverage.
But in the far off wall of the room their was a stage their that already had a grand piano set up to play. Their was an adjacent room their that was open as xander peeked inside with perun. The two noticed dozens of different in their ranging from guitars, drums, trumpets, violins and even some techno pieces.
"Whoa! I take it back this place does have everything we need…i'm in heaven"perun said smiling
"Of course you'd find this to be heaven. What you gonna pass out from excitement a little too early their kid"nezumi joked making some snicker to his amusement.
Vance walked over to a couch jumping over laying down sighing in relief placing his hands behind his head as he got comfy
"Man this is heaven right now. Seriously i'm for one happy to see my sibling still though…"he paused on adam
As the faunus was a little nervous being here it seems. He could read his mind to figure out why but he could already tell. He was mainly nervous being here with his ex and her family that took him in. along with that the guys ex best friend. As he could tell onxyia was still shooting him daggers every once and while.
But he was only allowed to stay here as they made up a small lie to the council here. When they came to thank them for their efforts they immeidlaty had guards ready to take him and his cousin away. But thankfully qrow and his tribe status helped.
They convinced them to have him under their watch for now saying he was their prisoner. Along with paddy saying he'll keep him under watch himself though the man just spends his times guarding his cousin room. But he was also planning that beidou womens funeral too.
"Sooo still in shock my big sister is dating you. I mean…what do you even see in my sister?"vance asked making the attention drawn to adam
"Right that….uhhhh you didn't see him suck face with her on their first date together"weiss joked making them snicker at him for a moment as he went slightly flush
Adam cleared his throat"are you all this childish? I mean i understand where all suppose to relax but some of you seem pretty relaxed with me here"he said which made the wolf shoot him with a glare
"I'm not…because well i don't trust you still"onxyia admitted as he understood
Nezumi shrugged her shoulder"hey i'm only trusting you because of what that trifa and yuma guy told me. They said they found it weird how you left also i kinda figured something out."She said making them stare at her
"What would that be exactly?"yumi aksed as the spider faunus tapped her chin
"I mean you probably had doubts for a long time until you went through with leaving. Which means he was still holding you back before he revealed to you on that order he gave to kill any faunus who left"nezumi said as the bull faunus flinched for a moment
He thought about those words for a moment as he sighed dipping his head nodding. Because she was right in a way ollie did sway him with his words since he always could trust him when they were kids. Now that isn't the case because hes worried what hes doing out their now.
"Your not wrong….still i am sorry for the pain i caused blake and her family. Though you two must be alot more hurt with…weaver"adam said his name with venom clenching his fist
Xander rubbed his head"yeah i don't like the guy anymore. First he killed my best firned, second shot my sister and stabbed her. Third….yeah hes insane"he said the last part with sarcasm makignt hem laugh.
Weiss then clapped her hands togheter"okay enough of this. We aren't going to talk all dark right now and ruin the mood. I'm going to play us a small tune then we'll see if mercury can top it."she said in complete cofndicne
"Of your on ice queen"merucyr said
Then the heiress walked over to the piano on the stage as she pulled the seat out sitting down. Weiss then reached for a music sheet book as she flipped through it for a bit before finding one to help set the mood.
She then placed it infront of her as she cleared her throat to prepare for her small performance. Then she began to press on the keys at a slow pace filling the room around them with a sweet sound and very relaxing environment right now. As she kept doing this for a bit they started to enjoy it
The heiress kept playing her piece as they enjoyed it though that was when perun had an idea come to his mind. Immediately he got up placing a hand behind his back offering a hand to eria
"Uhhh what are you doing right now?"eria questioned
"I mean during the vytal dance you got to dance with neptune back at the vytal dance. Because well i think i owe you one"perun said in confidence right now.
This made her blush at the thought for a moment before thinking about it she really did want to dance him when that dance hapepned. Eria sighed before taking his hand right now as the two of them began to dance with each other. Perun carefully placed an her left arm around eria and placed it on her back gently. Eria followed suit as she took his right hand as the two began to danc with each other.
Onxyia noticed what her partner was doing laughing before reaching over pulling velvet to her feet doing the same thing with her.
"Might as well join them so they don't feel left out"she sweetly said making the rabbit let out a small smile as the two of them held each other. They began to dance like they did back during the vytal dance as yumi stared at them laughing even. Though she quickly looked at vance for a moment seeing him relaxing as she grinned.
Then she leaned over whsiepring to him"hey lynx boy maybe you should ask spidey to dance. "She teased making him blush at the thought of that
"No way i can't do that she'll find me weird"vance whispered back
But she then stared back over at the spider faunus just sitting their enjoying herself. The panda decided to give him the shove he needed right now since he wasn't going to do it. And his sisters are beating him
Yumi whsilted to her"yo nez! Why don't you and fish eater here dance with each other to make it even. Having these lovebirds makes it boring"she called out which made vance go flush with embarrassment as nezumi jumped up flushing a little in the face
"I..i…um you know what sure. I mean pretty sure i can do better than the rest of you"nezumi said in confidence
"What?! But i….uh aren't you like dating anyone if i recall"Vance said heavily embarrassed and flustered
The spider walked over offering him a hand"what you chicken to dance with a women?"she said making a chicken noise as they laughed at that.
The lynx narrowed his gaze before taking the itnaitivie grabbing her by the hand dragging her onto their makeshift dance floor.
"You know what…fine! But if feathers was here i'd make her dance with tarrus which would be hilarious"vance stated in complete confidence making adam roll his eyes at him.
In nezumi mind this made her start to loose her macho military look a little. But she felt a little safe around him like she can just be herself at time. Weiss was still busy playing the piano right now with compelte ease. But she noticed the two smiling slightly then started to do it alot slower than usually setting the mood. She kept pressing down on different keys on the piano every so often
Soon enough the two took each others in their ams. Feeling a little more relaxed with the lynx they eventually gave it to it. Vance knew little about dnaicng but knew some moves from his dad. Carefully he placed his left hand around her and placed it on her back gently. Nezumi followed suit as the two of them began to dance with each other right now.
After some time the others just watched appreciating the very small moment their having right now. Although as the song kept playing soon enough weiss finished her tune then faced her small crowd. All of them started to give her appulse right now.
"Brave oh weiss. Just like last time you played a beautiful piece"velvet complimented
"Yeah seriously you can't top that i'm sure merc"yumi said with a grin
Eria giggled with a large smile because she enjoyed herself having this small little dance right now after everything that happened.
"He might be able to though that was a nice gesture lighting boy. Now i need to figure out how to make it up to you"she replied

Nezumi nerovusly laughed"man you kids are a ritot. Though no problem making you not feel left out kid"she said before the creaking of a door could be heard mixed with the sound of someone laughing right now. The women turned around going flush
As in the doorway right now was her best friend and academy partner celetse. But wore something different that being a pair of blue jeans with some holes ripped at the knees. Though she wore some simple black legging underneath them. She also traded her military shirt for a black croptop that had a bright yellow star in the middle. Along with wearing some knee high brown boots to match with it.
She still sprouted her signature witches hat atop her head right now.
Although their was faba who changed his attire from his military gear. The man was wearing a pair of light black jeans with a pair of tan combat boots that were clean. Along with that he sported a muscle shirt that was grey with a brown leather jacket over it.
The man snickered at her"Well seems the second in command of our little outfit is having her fun"he teased
Celeste whistles at her teasingly"And i just got all of it on camera right here"she said presneitng her scroll as the spider went bright red
"No! Give that back you little witch! I swear to god if you show the company that i'll string you up by my webs!"nezumi shouted firing a web at her but she missed as celeste giggled ducking in the hallway running away from her. The spider gave chase in a full sprint after her
The others stood their stunned for a moment as faba stared at them for a moment
"You kids wanna follow those two to see what happens?"he asked as the thought for a moment
"Sure. i bet she doesn't catch her and everyone has to see fish eater dancing with her"yumi said chasing after them as vance went flush
"No! I gotta help her before my aunt or sister see it or i'll be teased to death!"he cried chaisng after them as the others laughed following them right now to see what might happen to them.
Meanwhile back outside nearing the front entrance of the apartment was ruby who was humming smiling right now. Because after the session with diamona she went to a local bakery to get some baked goods for her aunt that woke up. The polar bear was also with them since she closed today.
Qrow was carrying a paper bag that contained some muffin in them along with summer carrying a small tote bag. diamona just carried some groceries she went to get for the group to celebrate raven waking up.
Ruby kept humming which summer noticed"i assume your happy that your sister mother is awake"She asked making the girl flinch slightly
"Oh uh yeah i mean its weird. But i'm happy for her and uncle though uh are you…mom"Ruby said making summer freeze slightly. For the last two days all she done is comfort and care for her daughter right now.
Something she never done in the last ten years in her life. She though she be mad at her she still does. But it actually makes her happy that she came out of hiding a month ago to finally see her little girl again as she fought a wide smile forming.
"I..i am because i'm sure your friends are. Along with that maybe if were lucky your other two friends are awake"summer said making her smile at that
"Eh maybe though lookie here the news crews are gone thank god"qrow pointed out with the news crews being gone. Probably gave up their goal of getting some details on havan or security removed them.
Although diamona eyes layed upon something or someone. As the group from the docks where now returning as a bald shiny head gleaned in the sun. she smiled walking over as she decided to call out to the group.
"Colt! You bald headed softie get over here and say hi to me!"diamona called out as the man noticed her smiling walking over as the two embraced each other
"Ghastyl! Man your a sight for sore eyes right now i haven't seen you in a year"colt replied laughing
"You mean how you came to my husband for getting some ink on you. Thought you'd get a discount from him for being friend"she said as he laughed shaking his head

Then walking up was aruna holding her babby brother swaddle in a blanket sleeping soundly. diamona let out a small gasp as to their shock she gently took the baby in her arms. Then she began to gently rock him back and forth gushing over him
"Awww aren't you just an adorable little faunus….yes you are…yes you are"she said in a baby voice
"Whoa weird seeing her gush over a baby because of well you know"loki said
"You mean hows she very tall don't judge a book by a cover man. Because your a complete clown like your cousin"Sun reminded as he stared at him.
Mari chuckled walking forward before glancing at summer for a moment with a surprise look in her eyes. She saw how close she was to ruby as the women seqeuled seeing her right now.
"Aww your the most adorable little huntresses i've every seen"mari sqelad shoving ruby into her bust as the hooded girl gasped for air from her squeezing
"Can't….breath….need air….bear…hugging me…to death"ruby gasped for air as mari quickly released her nerovusly laughing right now because she found cute and small things to be her weakness.

"Cousin"luna cutely said as rogue thought she meant her but it was eria. The cold copy of her laughed walking over taking her baby cousin to her sister shock
"Hello luna…its nice to see you again after we all split up"eria replied as the tot faunus hugged her cousin as the tinker felt betrayed right now as she whined falling to her knees
"I though i'd be her favorite cousin not my emotionless sister whos a stickler for the rules"rogue whined as mercury walked over patting her gently atop her head sighing smiling.

"Question why are you guys running all over the place. Second why do those two not want us to see anything"jazmine asked as neo saw a video on the scroll. Alot of them crowed around it before seeing what was happening in the music room
They all stayed silent for a complete minute until they bursted into complete laughter. Because it showed those two dancing with each other as neo kept giggling pointing at her brother. With jazmine holding her stomach as cardin held it in for a second but bursted into laughter gasping for air occasionally
"Oh..oh i can't believe it she kisses you then give you a number. Now does this….this is so funny!"cardin said laughing as colt laughed covering his mouth sighing

"The little kid turned into a cat…what the heck"nolan said as immediately jazmine and velvet were starry eyed. Velvet picked her up gently nuzzing her soft fur.
"Ohh this is the cutest thing i've every seen. She looks like a little kitty"velvet said as the little girl let out a puring noise making them shocked.

But in the room right now nadia was in the middle of conseling someone right now. That being bastet who was still in the middle of ugly crying right now after the loss of her parents right now. Along with what her father did heartbroken he was used by the people who started the fall. Sienna was with her along with meg, lilith along with katherine. As eden was keeping an eye on her baby sister who was playing with a stuffed animal right now.
"It'll be okay bas….i know it hurts you lost your parents. But i'm here for you"lilith softly said
Bastet lifted her face up with tears running down her face as her eyes were very red. As she seemed to be crying for hours.
"How? Because both my parents are gone and….and i have to break it to my baby girl. I have to tell her she lost both her parents."bastet cried with a very horessed voice
Sienna sighed recalling a very similar someone in this room doing this same thing. She reached over taking her handle gently squeezing it as she returned it.
"Dear everything will be alright. Your husband will help you and i'm sure he'll be here soon enough okay. But you have people to help you through this"sienna softly said
Nadia nodded"yeah bas. Don't worry i know whats it like to lose your parents lost them when i was younger back at beacon. God i was crying for weeks after that"she said as katherine sighed
"I remember that though amber helped you through it. Even my husband helping you which i find adorable how much a sofie he can be at times"katherine said before reaching over wrapping his arms around her was her said husband who laughed slihglty kissing her on the forehead

Katherine chuckled herself"i totally forgot about that i mean it'll be quite a shocker. Because still surprised my daughter has two more partners"she cooed

Though at that moment the door would be heard knocking which confused them. As declan walked over opening it before he smiled seeing colt on the other side laughing hugging the man.
"Well i'll be lawson! Your a sight for sore eyes right now because you missed quite a brawl"declan cheered as his tail wagged with the boxer laughing.
"Come on dec. i had to keep an eye on the orphanage though before you ask tia and james got it covered with some help their. "Colt reassured making his friend sigh in relief walking over hugging him in relief
"I'm happy to hear that though….piper someone is here for you"nadia said as the uras looked up to see her aunt walking in. then she stood up rushing over wrapping her little arms around her legs smiling at her.
"Auntie"piper cutely cheered as mari smiled but then it turned into a stern glare. Then she bent down pinching her niece on the cheeks tugging and pulling at them.
"Hello my little niece….guess what since i'm here your going to be grounded. You first sneak onto a ship then you put yourself in danger. Because right now i'm anger with you"she said in a clam voice as piper whined because she got in trouble
Eden sighed"sorry auntie she wanted to say hi to the girl who saved my best friend arm. Nice to see you'she said hugging her but then swapped stares with her girlfriends keeping her composure. Then lloyd stepped inside sighing in relief walking over hugging his wife
"Oh lil…i'm glad your okay my love. Thought our son got you put in a hospital bed"lyyod said as loki rolled his eyes

Though bastet stared at her daughter as she forced a sob back but cracked crying queitly hugging her daughter close not wanting to ever let go.
Fenix stepped inside the room as him and declan shared a look. Before the man knew it the wolf pulled him into an embrace as the lion leaned into it trying to hide his tears but they were visible as he let him go to comfort his wife. The man joined the embrace with his wife and daughter holding them close.
"It'll be okay dear…we can get through this…i'll be here for you"fenix whispered into her ear as she sobbed burying her face into his shoulder sniffing and shaking for who she lost. Lavi was confused right now but hugged her mother to comfort her the best she could.
Then soon enough diamona walked in gushing over sorrel right now as he reached for a baby rattle in her hands. Sienna noticed her already holding him rolling her eyes
"Diam let me see my son please i haven't seen him in over a week"Sienna demanded as the women pulled him back shielding him
"Nuh uh i wanna gush over him. Hes far cuter than you and walker other kids because they got old and ugly"diamona said as next to her was aruna. The girl then took her brother out of the women grasp then handed him to her mother.
Immediately sorrel cooed reaching for his mother as sienna gently hugged him smiling that he was safe and sound right now sighing in relief.
"Thank you for watching him for me dear. I'm happy your safe because we also made it that faunus may be treated differently. Maybe you won't be bullied for being a faunus when you get older"she cooed nuzzling her nose against him as he giggle as they found that adorable.
But as summer stepped into the room piper noticed her as the two shared a look. Then the girl dashed hiding behind her sister with a scare look in her eyes looking down.

"What did you do to her? Because you promised me you woudln't harm her along with that after catching you holding a knife thinking she had one of those parasites inside her"mari growled which caught them offguard hearing she did that as eden growled galring at her
"You held a knife over my sister while she was asleep!"eden shouted in rage as she shoved summer back into a wall as she didn't even fight back dropping the bag to the ground as some baked goods spilled out

"Walker i…i…what happened…the news said that you all saved havan not really going into details yet. But…is…he.."he was stopped
"In another coma yes. I had to perform emergency surgery at the hopsital their but the doctor their refused to even assist me. I had some of nezumi soldier help me thankfully. But he suffered aura exhaustion along with snapping his leg that needs to heal. Along with breaking three more ribs, stab wounds on his shoulder, posioned by king tajtu venom and lastly…all his other injuries hes gotten in the last two month"katherine explained
Lloyd looked stunned to see the face of his nephew right now he hasn't seen since he was only two year old. But was caught offguard seeing him with medical equipment hooked up to him.
"God i…guess your sister didn't lose her son dear"lyyod said as nadia chuckled sighing
"Well my son is a fighter in my opinion. He'll pull through i'm sure just heartbroken still what he did that night. That he….he…"her lips stopped as she just hugged herself tight on what happened. Colt studied her for a moment glancing at declan who sighed rubbing his face

"Actually no…hes heading to vacuo weather you like it or not. Because he needs to head back with his real family not you. "Lilith codly announced stunning them as the tiger looked up glaring at her rigth now.

"You heard me. Because for starters if hes even around any of you now he has a target on his back. And the gift he was given in our family is far more important than staying here putting a target on his back. He'll head back with his real family thanks for keeping an eye on him. But we'll take care of him now"lilith said though this made them just hate how she changed her attitude right now

"Oh i am because i aways knew he was a ladies man"she teased with a toothy grin as the four girls groaned in embarrassment this was happening right now. Though they hoped things would be better for the time being
Though days later in the lower level of mistral in a forested area of mistral that had a small shore close by. Along with it being close to the underground cave of the spring maiden vault. Though floating in the water where several ice chunks that surrounded a women body.
But a close up of the women face left her motionless though she occasionally tiwtched suggesting she was alive. Until suddenly a close of her had her right eye shoot open. Taking in her current usrroudning bubble cme from her mouth as she struggled to swim upwards to breach the surface
Once she breached the surface she gasped for air coughing up water as suddenly on her right eye a bright orange flame appeared. Then using her powers she shot herself out of the pool of water as she landed hard on the ground coughing and gasping fro air.
Then she slowly picked herself up trying to concentrate a flame in her hands but flame went out immediately. Growling in frustration she slammed her hand down on the ground unknwoignly an exit appeared on the cave wall. Light poured in from the crack as she heard the sound of howling winds.
pickin g herself up she noticed where she was the vault under havan academy as she recalled a fight with a certain spring maiden. She reeled her fist back to reveal a grimm like apendgaed as she smashed the crack int he wall on the first punch
The wall opened up as she stagger out of the cave into the pouring rain as she lost footing in her legs. As she collapsed to the ground dragging herself through the mud someone called out
"Excuse me…are you okay ma'am?"a mistrlain women asked. She held a basket as she bent down with concern. But then she offered a hand as the women revealed her grimm arm as she gasped dropping the basket
The women looked up to reveal bonnie thanatos alive and well as she smiled evily at her because she'll do just fine.
Well Seems That Bonnie is alive and well but a month after her defeat in havan. Along with that with vance and nezumi slowly becoming a thing. Thanks for reading
