"SKYYYYYYYYY," The Hut shook from Wren's shout.

And for the second time Today, he found himself pinned to the floor with a dragon forcibly removing all air from his body,

"HEY!" "YOU'RE NEW!" the dragon danced excitedly on top of him, repeatedly crushing all air from his lungs.

Can't breathe…

"What clothes are those? " WHY DOES YOUR FACE LOOK TASTY'' WH-" "HEY"

The dragon was cut off by Wren shoving him off. Evan lay on the ground gaping like a fish out of water, desperately trying to breathe. Walking over Wren pulled him to his feet pounding on his back.

He coughed violently, air returning to his bruised lungs.

" Sorry about him "She turned back to Sky scowling. " Sky we talked about this, you can't go jumping on every person you meet like they are a pile of peaches." "But I like peaches…." said Sky " THAT'S NOT THE POINT!" She shouted.

So this is Peril's brother Sky. He thought I wonder if they know yet?

( they didn't :)

Sky was pretty small for a dragon. only coming up to Glory's shoulder in height. His Wings were the size of an average seawings. Maybe a bit smaller. ( which was very large, the Skywings have very large wings and can fly farther and faster than all the other dragon tribes hence the name.)

He also noticed that the bouncing dragonet looked like someone had taken the average orangish-red color of a skywing, and bleached the color out of them. Giving the Dragonet a Pale Creamy color. Like peaches, He thought smiling. The darkest color he could find on the dragon was a pale maroon color around the edges of his head, wings, eyebrows, and legs.

The two continued to banter back and forth, now arguing about... snails? He continued to study the two intently. Since they came from the same egg I'm guessing that Peril took most if not all the fire that Sky would've gotten, Making her the fire scales she is today. But how did he not get burned up by her in the egg? Was it the fluid that surrounded them? The embryo or whatever. He had so many questions, He felt the Skywing's energy rubbing off on him as he watched the pair.

He turned his attention to Wren. Wren seemed a lot more like a mixture of Sky's sister Peril with her outgoing nature mixed with her inclination toward violence as the first answer. Mixed with level-headed thinking of Glory.

"calculated violence" he observed,

"Snails are NOWHERE NEAR as cute as sloths. " Wren argued, refusing to back down.

She's definitely as stubborn as a dragon… Although we all can be pretty stubborn at times. he conceded thinking of when he refused to give back a book from the library because he hadn't finished it, he then lost it causing the fines to rack up horribly. He smiled. The look on his dad's face when he realized what the penalty was from, was almost worth it.

"Well it's not my fault that I like peaches'' Sky argued.

"I DIDN'T SAY THAT! I SAID-" Wren lowered her arms." Forget it we'll talk later when I can chew you out properly."

" ok :) " Sky replied, returning to his jittery self.

He either has more energy than a toddler that drowned in Red Bull. Evan noticed, walking to Wren. or he has the same energy level as Kinkajou. He wasn't sure which was worse.

Wait, what am I doing? He shook his head, removing thoughts about the bubbly dragonet. I need to get home, he reminded himself. I know where I am. but not when. That's the first thing I should ask. He turned back to Glory.

"Glory I know this situation is weird, even for you, but can you catch me up on current events?" The last thing I remember about Phyria is the Pantala lost content disaster. When was that?" he asked ( SPOILERS AHEAD)

Both Wren and Glory flinched, bits of lime even creeping into Glory's scales. "That…Particular incident only finished about a year ago." She stated flatly.

Wren's shoulders drooped. "The Other Mind…Cottonmouth… Luna told us about what happened down there, and what Freedom did."

Glory nodded sadly "We built a statue in the village to help remember her."

Surprising Him. Glory was always the smart, tough member of the dragonets, and he knew that she preferred to hide her feelings, by putting up shields. Although he understood what that was like. He shuddered. Being attached to your kidnapper and worst enemy for 5,000 years… The same person that caused the scorching and nearly doomed the Human race, he ground his teeth angrily "Of course it was humans who caused the scorching. Kidnapping Dragon eggs for war, what Game of Thrones bull* is that. She never even got to see the outside world for millennia. and her kidnapper as her only company. maybe we deserved to be wiped out.

"If anyone deserves a statue it's her,'' He agreed. biting back his stewing anger.

"Have the Pantalla tribes finally got heads out of their rear-end, and chosen a Hivewing Queen yet?" he asked. Still thinking about Freedom.

" Yes," Glory replied, shifting back to her formal attitude "We decided that Queen Jewel would be the next ruler of the hive wings along with Queen Sequoia and Queen Luna."

he nodded…. "WAIT" he jumped to his feet. "LUNA IS A QUEEN NOW!." he shouted.

Yes, "Wren replied grinning." Who Else?

He smiled the news freezing over his anger. "Luna will do a great job" If anyone deserves to be a queen it's her, he thought.

"After we beat the snot out of the othermind and Wasp," Wren explained. " We agreed to a truce meeting, at Dragonfly Bay near Jewel hive. '' Wren continued. " That includes Lady Scarab, Jewel, Sequoia, Belladonna, Blue, Luna, Swordtail, Sundew, Willow, Cricket, and Tsunami." She finished " Me, and Sky were also there to make sure they behaved-"

"Who are the Queens now? " he interrupted.

" Keep your head on," Wren scowled.

"Sorry "he sat down on the floor.

"Choosing the Silkwing Queen was the easiest, Especially because Luna was one of the only Silkwings with any Spine, and because she had some experience in leading groups." ( small as it is).

" What about the Leafwing Queen?" he asked

" I was getting to that," Wren said, giving him another glare.

"Belladonna and Sequoia were at each other's throats."

He rolled his eyes. as usual

She sighed " In the end, we chose Sequoia, Mostly because Sequoia wouldn't try to kill or imprison all the Hivewings. "No matter how much they deserve it," she muttered darkly.

" What?" Evan asked. Pretending not to hear.

" Nevermind." " For The Hive Wings, We chose Jewel because she is actually nice, and not as… wrinkly as the other options."

Sky turned his head confused " Dragons don't wrinkle." he said. "They just get more grumpy,"

Evan laughed. That is true, he thought.' Most of the older dragons that I can think of like Morrowseer, Scarab, and Battlewinner are a lot grumpier than the "Younger Generation.

Glory smirked "I can think of one or two dragons that apply to."

He grinned "Yeah a lot fewer wars if you Queens weren't so darn old and cranky, Huh"

Wren laughed" No matter how true,

" Glory shot her a look "

or untrue that is, we're getting off-topic," "After Announcing who we chose as queen we spent a few more days establishing some reeeealy boring deals. " Such as," Evan asked.

"Not right now," she said.

Here are the treaties if you want to know them

( "The Growth of The Forest." Making sure that the few remaining trees that survived Wasp's rampage would continue to grow, along with the Hivewings being the ones to mainly help regrow these trees considering it was them who destroyed most of the Trees")

( " The Hive Mind Treaty" " Making sure that the last remaining devil's breath was destroyed along with surveillance over Queen wasp and The Hive Wings making sure they don't get any Bright Ideas" )

I don't know how I feel about Hivewings, Evan Thought On one hand they were forced into doing those things by Wasp… but on the other, they never tried to change or help. Not to mention the stuff they did all on their own to the leafwings and Silkwings without Wasp. ( Dragon Racism )

'' helloooo" Wren clapped in his face" Ya in their''

Yeah sorry " Please continue." Wren rolled her eyes.

" After establishing a few more treaties, Me, Tsunami, and the rest headed back to Phyria."

"After Wren and Sky came back with the news, we settled down for a while." Glory explained. " Sending messages and negotiations when we needed to maintain contact."

Being the queen of two tribes, Helping with another continent, and dealing with the annual world-ending events as a 9-year-old is quite incredible. He thought. Also exhausting.

"The only problem is we don't have any good way to send messages from one continent to another." Glory explained ."

"Which makes my job ten times harder figuring out with the other queens who to send, with what messages, at what times, and at what places. It gets annoying reeeeally quickly.''

Not to mention the Danger of crossing an ocean with only a map and some spread-out islands as landmarks. if you get lost, even as a seawing,... it's a death sentence. Evan thought. "Have you lost anyone yet?" He asked

"Unfortunately one of the Seawings we sent wasn't the smartest banana in the bunch, and we lost him for several months before we found him washed up near the old Nightwing volcano." Glory growled.

" losing the map in the process." Wren added, "The least the bimbo could've done was hold on to the map." We only have a few copies.

" Although Cricket and Moon are trying to make and send out more. " Glory said.

"Good" he said...

"Now that we are caught up…"Glory smiled.

He blinked and was rapidly slammed to the ground, as Glory shot across the room, her claws gouging into the wood next to his head.

"How did you get here?" she roared. Red, black, and Orange spread darkly through her scales. He fangs dripping venom. hissing as they made contact with the wood.

A living Predator ( movie) he thought terrified.

Her voice grew deadly calm. "You're not from here, You act like you know me personally, You talk about events and people like you were there, Which is. not. possible." She emphasized each word by pressing harder on his chest. His already bruised ribs screaming in pain.

" Orrrr" she said icily. "You can use animus magic which is impossible since it is, "broken," Glory said angrily. She got off his chest, staring down at him.

How do I answer this? I can't think, I'm so screwed. he thought." I-I did come here through magic, but I'm not an animus." He stated carefully "Animi?", this is going to sound bizarre but-"

Oh 'We have dealt with bizarre " Glory growled "WE'VE DEALT WITH TOO MUCH "BIZARRE'' IN THE LAST 3 YEARS''

His heart was going a million miles an hour. I got to calm down, He took a deep breath, letting his heart calm down. Either she will believe me or she won't. There is nothing else I can do. "I'm from a different dimension'' He blurted.

Glory raised an eyebrow, her scales calming slightly. " Sure, and I'm an animus," She answered.

"No," he sighed. "Listen, I Came here through a door at my school and ended up in the desert. Near the animus tunnel. Once there I traveled through it searching for the few dragons I knew could help me"

"And Who would those be? "Wren and Glory said simultaneously.

" You," He replied, fidgeting under their combined gaze. It's like middle school all over again...

"And how can we help you?" said Sky excitedly bouncing on his talons. taking him off guard.

Huh, so he's not suspicious of me? He thought, surprised. I can't tell if that's careless or just him being friendly.

"Hopefully you can help me get back to my world,'' he replied. He felt a lot better with Sky backing him up. I wish I met people like this in my world. He chuckled. A voice seemed to whisper from the back of his head. Do you really want to go back? he thought doubtfully. After all, this is what you've been waiting to happen since you picked up the first book. An adventure that transports you to save the world with friends, defeating evil and all that. On top of that a chance to meet and be with the characters you enjoy and know better than yourself…" the voice slithered, his head spinning like the ring on his finger, thinking…

" Oh good, That perfectly explains, how you know details of our lives that we've never told anyone about, '' Glory said sarcastically. Breaking Evan's Train of Thought.

I want to tell them but… how do I tell them so they don't go into an existential crisis…"I-I know about you because in my world your…"

I'm what?" Wren asked

" Scroll characters…" he blurted.

"Glory's scales darkened, " You're a worse lier than Starflight"

"No Listen." he explained "In these books," I was each of The Dragonets of Destiny, First Clay then Tsunami, You," Evan said pointing at Glory, Then Starflight, and Sunny, as you each went to stop the war."

" Glory snorted, disbelievingly.

"Each scroll was like a glimpse at your life and adventures with each book changing characters." he continued.

"That's…. Disturbing" Glory said pensively scales still roiling with red and orange.

"I was then in The Jade winglet's heads for Darkstalker, and The Pantalan Dragons for the next 5, Which is how I Know about Darkstalker and Blue," he finished

"And what are these "books' ' called," Wren asked, Crossing her arms.

``Wings of Fire' ' he replied.

Glory's scales flashed white, before returning to normal, she looked like she'd been hit by lightning " Wings of fire…" She said thoughtfully," Like in the first fake prophecy that the brain-dead, two-tongued cactus of a dragon Morrowseer made up?" Glory asked

colorful insults, he thought "Yeah sorta," he said nervously…

"Hmmm," Glory hummed thoughtfully, scales fading in intensity.

"You Don't actually believe him do you?" said Wren

" What did our guardians try to do to me?" Glory questioned.

He replied instantly, he knew the Wings of Fire Story by heart. "Kill you for being a Rainwing and not a Skywing in the Prophecy."

"How did we escape?" She shot back

"Clay swam through a river and got hurt. While Starflight and Sunny worked together to free Tsunami's chains, she followed after Clay. They Ran into Scarlett but escaped."

"Good now-" she tried to stop.

"Then you sent smoke signals through the keyhole," he continued, shooting past her "which helped them find you but also got you captured by Scarlett who followed them."

'' Who is the Nightwing Queen?" Glory asked unfazed" You, although before you it was Battlewinner who had to be bathed in lava because an Icewing shot Ice Breath down her throat. And she died trying to kill you. " Evan finished. Too easy

Glory paced for a while. Considering him shrewdly. She sighed" I believe him," she said, her scales finally returning to normal.

"WHAT WHY" Wren shouted.

"Simple" Glory stated. "The events that Evan described would have been impossible to know unless he had been there. We never told the exact circumstances or description of anything that happened, we rarely talked about it. Even with each other. Therefore the only way he would know about this is through magic, or what he said with the books, which matches his story."

"I Believed him from the start," Sky said, slowly creeping up on a butterfly on the windowsill. " That's because you trust everyone, Sky, " Wren said softly, smiling as he dove for the butterfly... he missed

"DANGNABBIT" he cursed. (censored what he actually said)

"SKY, NO CURSING" Wren scolded.

Sky's ears drooped. "sorry" he apologized.

" You and I are going to have a nice long chat about language mister," Wren muttered. Sky seemed to melt under her gaze growing smaller.

Glory sighed again, looking over to him. he finally noticed tired circles under her eyes. " Listen, I can't deal with magic voodoo scavengers. Especially ones that have been inside me, and my friends' heads, And be Queen of the Nightwings and Rainwings at the same time." Glory stated tiredly.

"But-" he tried to argue. he wasn't that bad right?

"On top of that," she continued holding up a hand "I've dealt with enough animus magic messes to last a lifetime."

Now it was his turn for his shoulders to slump disappointed. "fair enough"

Glory smirked slightly. " That doesn't mean I won't help you, I'm going to send you with Wren and Sky to meet with Tsunami, and the others at Jade Mountain. They could probably deal with you." she finished walking toward her cluttered desk. " I'll Dream Visit Sunny and let them know you're coming," She said. Searching through the drawers.

" Great, Perfect," landed me with the Universe Idiot. Wren muttered. Grabbing her pack that was lying against the wall. she tossed it easily onto Sky's back.

"YEEEEEEEEEAY" Sky shouted," A New Adventure!" bouncing over to pick Him and Wren up

'Wow, he shot back up fast. He thought of allowing Sky to grab him.

Lifting him onto his back. Sky then reached down to grab Wren.

she slapped the grouping talon lightly. "Uh-uh, No touchy the human sky."

ok…" Sky sniveled, wings drooping again. maybe the scolding had broken through. he noted

Wren's eyes softened. " Listen, next time we stop, I'll help you find some snails."

"YESSS" Sky said happily." Returning to his happy optimism. AGAIN. HOWWWW he thought dumbfounded.

Wren bounced up onto Sky's back. landing in front of him. She looked back at Glory "Please tell Tsunami not to immediately try to kill Evan when he gets there. " She said. Waving." You know how Tsunami feels about anything prophecy or Animus related."

Sure" she said distractedly.

He gulped remembering the Stormy Princess. Tsunami isn't exactly the friendliest dragon in phyria .he thought nervously, thinking of Glory's Sister. Tsunami the Fierce Warrior of The Dragonets of Destiny and the Missing Princess Of Queen Coral of The Seawings ( A.K.A The overprotective psycho mom), And one of the best fighters in Phyria. On Top of that, Tsunami was the Headmistress of Jade Mountain Academy.

Gulping down his nervousness he waved at Glory " Thank you" he said. throat tightening.

"Don't mention it" Glory dismissed, finally finding the dreamvister from under a stack of scrolls.

This could be my last chance to see her again. He realized. He felt… sad he finally met one of his favorite characters and already had to say goodbye. Would it be so bad to stay? His mind turned the thought over, flipping it like a coin. I'll think about it later. turning his attention back to Wren." Ok so how does this flying thii-woAAAAAAAA-" he shrieked as Sky rapidly climbed into the Evening Sky.

Wren cackled madly "Such a wuss" He was too busy holding on for life to care. Wings flapping hard Sky let out a shrill cry of joy as they broke through the clouds, droplets of water catching onto his eyelashes and hair. His grip loosened.

"Wow," he gripped the spine in front of him, glancing down at the world below him. It's so…. beautiful. The canvas of green below him seemed endless.

"First Time?" Wren asked.

He nodded. "It's incredible. " He'd never felt so… free.

He smiled enjoying the wind. Jade Mountain," he thought. here we come ...
