The Sovereign Of The Sunrise Kingdom

Chapter 13: Within My Dreams

Meanwhile, elsewhere in the desolate Sunrise Kingdom at one of the locations which is the dry and barren savannah of the Serengeti Plains, Zahara, Ushindi, Sarabi, Wepesi, Jabari, Nala, Tojo, Chumvi, Kula, Malka, and Tama, Nala and the others' parents, and the rest of male lions and lionesses of the Sunrise Pride has gathered at the savannah where they are now planning to find some help from outside of the Sunrise Kingdom to deal with Scar and his tyranny as well as he severe drought which made the water supply to dry up from the lack of rain within months and the severe famine which made the food supply to become skimpy.

The reason why all of the male lions and all of the lionesses of the Sunrise Pride has decided to find some help with the whole situation elsewhere is all because of Scar's laziness and selfishness since he's so unwilling to help them with the drought and famine even though it would lead to even more deaths of the members of the pride as well as other inhabitants of the kingdom who hasn't left due to the situation and are suffering from hunger and thirst as much as they are.

Also, they chose it was the perfect time to find help without being noticed by Scar and his hyena minions since Scar and some of his hyena minions have left the kingdom to meet up with one of his close followers Zira as well as Tufani, Moshi, and Hewa at another kingdom which is the Valor Kingdom since Zira is carrying out another diplomatic mission which is helping out the Valor Kingdom with recovery from another bush fire that occurred in one of the savannahs of the kingdom to inform her about having one of her children as his chosen heir to the throne of the Royal Kopje Of The Shining Sun since he doesn't have any children even though they have no relation to the royal family of the Sunrise Kingdom and its against the rules to have any non-member of the royal family to rule the kingdom.

While the pride plans of finding some help from outside of the Sunrise Kingdom without Scar and his henchmen noticing, they mourn the loss of the members of the pride who has died from starvation and thirst due to the drought and famine which has been Scar's poor reign over the kingdom and allowing his hyena minions to hunt whenever they want to throughout the kingdom, and they also notice some skeletons of various inhabitants who have died from the drought and famine, much to their dismay. So, the proceed to find some help in order to deal with the whole situation before it could have the chance to become even worse than before which would lead to more deaths of many of the inhabitants of the kingdoms, but they already know that all of them can't find help together and either one or two of them must find some help.

"What should we do now?" asked Ushindi.

"Well, since I was unable to convince Scar who was being so selfish and inconsiderate, we have no choice but to find some help ourselves," said Zahara.

"That's right, and it's gonna be out from the Sunrise Kingdom since there's nobody else to turn to in the kingdom to help us out with all of this." said Sarabi.

"We wish there still could be somebody to help us, but nobody barely even lives here any longer all because of the drought and famine which got worse day after day." said Jabari.

"Also, many of them have died from hunger and thirst just like weeks ago, and it's very depressing to see their own skeletons lie on the grounds like that," said Wepesi.

"Everybody, something really must be done all about this somehow, and we just can't stand by and just wait for it to happen." said Nala.

"We gotta do something right now and it can't wait any longer, and if we do, then the situation is just gonna escalate much further. We have to do it right away already." said Tojo.

"This is the perfect time to find help 'cause my brother Scar and some of his hyenas have left the kingdom to head to the Valor Kingdom to meet up with one of his best friends," said Zahara.

"Yes, and it's Zira as well as the others who are Tufani, Moshi, and Hewa. We already know they've always been loyal to Scar ever since childhood and during Uru's reign and Mohatu's reign." said Ushindi.

"Also, besides Zira, Tufani, Moshi, and Hewa who have been so loyal to Scar for so many years, there are more male lions and lionesses who are being so loyal to him as well." said Wepesi.

"Since those lions are loyal to Scar, they support his reign even though he isn't such a great sovereign and carrying out his responsibilities like he's supposed to." said Jabari.

"They must've lost their minds to support Scar's reign, and I wonder what makes them so loyal to Scar in the first place just like the hyenas are. Even after all these years." said Tojo.

"I guess that they care about power and doing whatever they want to rather than respecting the Circle Of Life and following it just like most animals would in order to keep it in balance." said Sarabi.

"Oh, and besides Scar having followers from the Sunrise Pride who are 100 percent loyal to him besides he hyenas, he's planning to have an heir to the throne who isn't even his cub." said Nala.

"Everybody, there is no way that a cub can be the heir to the throne, and that's 'cause he isn't a member of the royal family," said Malka.

"Just 'cause Scar has decided to have a chosen heir who isn't his kid doesn't mean he should become the sovereign one of these days." said Kula.

"The Sunrise Kingdom has always been ruled by royal-blooded lions, and that cub Scar chose to be his successor to the throne isn't royalty at all." said Tama.

"No non-member of the Sunrise Kingdom royal family can ever rule the kingdom, and that's totally against the rules as well." said Chumvi.

"We really gotta find some help already so we could deal with Scar's reign over the kingdom as well as having an heir to the throne who isn't royalty can't happen either." said Tojo.

"We are gonna get started with the whole plan, but first, we need to figure something out," said Sarabi.

"Well, what is it that we need to do first before we can get started on the plan?" asked Zahara.

"Not all of us can't go find help, so either one or two of us has to find help elsewhere." said Sarabi.

"You're right. So, which one of you or two of you would like to carry out the task?" asked Zahara.

The members of the Sunrise Pride began figuring out that either one or two of them should leave the Sunrise Kingdom to search of some help in order to deal with Scar and his tyranny over the kingdom as well as deal with the severe drought and famine that has occurred in the kingdom due to Scar allowing the hyenas to overhunt whenever they want to which is destroying the ecosystem of the kingdom and putting the Circle Of Life out of balance in the process, and then both Nala and Tojo decided that they should be the ones who should find some help.

"Tojo and I will do it." said Nala.

"Wait a minute. You two are gonna do it, Nala?" asked Tama.

"Yeah, we should be the ones who can find help for everybody." said Tojo.

"Are you sure that you two can do this for us?" asked Malka.

Nala nodded her head yes. "Something really has to be done about Scar and his tyranny sooner or later, and we've just decided that we should find the help that we need."

"So, Nala and I are gonna leave the Sunrise Kingdom and search for anything that can help us with the situation, and this situation can't go on forever." said Tojo.

"Great idea, you two, and you two can be the ones who are gonna do it." said Chumvi.

"We all strongly support your decision to do this and we hope you'll be able to do so," said Kula.

"Lions of the Sunrise Pride, Nala and Tojo are gonna leave the kingdom and find us all some help." said Sarabi.

"We must have hope that these two will be able to find the help that we all need so much before the situation could escalate much further," said Zahara.

"And we all wish them good luck that they'll be able to do so in order to deal with Zahara's brother's Scar's terrible reign," said Ushindi.

"Goodbye, everybody, and we promise we shall return to the kingdom with some help," said Nala.

"We hope that all of you will be alright while we are finding some help for the pride," said Tojo.

"We will, and bye, you two." said Sarabi.

"Bye, Nala." said Kula and Tama.

"Bye, Tojo." said Chumvi and Malka.

Nala warmly nuzzled her mother Sarafina goodbye while she also warmly embraced Kula and Tama goodbye and Tojo warmly nuzzled his father Ipyana goodbye white he also warmly embraced Chumvi and Tama goodbye as well, and both Nala and Tojo waved bye to their parents, their best friends, Zahara, Ushindi, Wepesi, Jabari, and the rest of the male lions and lionesses of the Sunrise Kingdom and they both leave the Sunrise Kingdom in order to find some help to deal with Scar and his terrible reign over the kingdom so they kingdom could be saved and many lives could be saved as well while everybody else wished them good luck on their mission to find them the help that they need and hope that they'll be alright.

Also, during travel out of the Sunrise Kingdom in order to find some help and save the kingdom from Scar's tyranny, Nala and Tojo still misses Simba and Amani very much and they already know that their other best friends Kula, Chumvi, Tama, and Malka misses them as much as they do. Nala and Tojo really enjoyed best friends with Simba and Amani along with the other best friends and has always valued their friendship with them along with their other best friends so much just as they both mourned over their supposed deaths while they are still unaware of

Just as Nala and Tojo mourn over Simba and Amani, they begin remembering one of the times they shared with Simba and Amani during their childhood. Nala remembered the time when she and Simba were at the savannah of the Serengeti Plains together and attempted to pin each other which Nala sometimes win at and Simba sometimes win at, Tojo remembered the time when he and Amani were at the Tarangire Grove together and played in a big mud pile where they got each other muddy in the process as well as hit each other with mud, and both Nala and Tojo remembered the time when they, Simba, Amani, Chumvi, Kula, Malka, and Tama spent time together at the Arusha Hills were they played the game of hide and seek together. They both then stopped remembering the good times they had with Simba and Amani just as they continued to mourn their supposed deaths and continue to proceed with their mission to find some help for the Sunrise Pride.

Meanwhile, back in the Hakuna Matata Jungle during the sunset, the twins Simba and Amani and their best friends Timon, Pumbaa, Lulu, and Safi were swinging on some vines together through the really tall trees in order to race each other throughout the jungle. Soon, the group of friends get finished with their race and Simba manages to win the race just as they all landed back on the ground safely together, and Amani, Timon, Pumbaa, Lulu, and Safi cheered for Simba managing to win the vine race across the Hakuna Matata Jungle and congratulated him while they already knew that Simba has won many of their vine races so far.

"So, Simba, it looks like you're the winner of the vine race," said Timon.

"You've won the race again, Brother, and that was ten in a row." said Amani.

"You know, you've been lucky to win so many of our vine races together," said Safi.

"And you've managed to win ten of them while we've managed to win some of them sometimes," said Pumbaa.

"What a world record, Simba, and that's so awesome and congratulations." said Lulu.

"So far I've only won five races," said Pumbaa.

"I've only won seven races." said Safi.

"I won five too." said Lulu.

"I won seven too," said Timon.

"Actually, I won ten, and that is as many as my brother." said Amani.

"I guess my sister and I are both lucky to win ten vine swinging races in a row, and we do praise you guys for winning the races together as well, guys." said Simba.

"That's right, Timon, Pumbaa, Lulu, and Safi, you did very well as much as we did." said Amani.

"Thank you." said Timon and Pumbaa.

"Thanks." said Lulu and Safi.

"Hey, let's have another race, guys." said Simba.

"How about we can do another race some other time," said Amani.

"Alright. If you say so." said Simba.

Simba, Amani, Timon, Pumbaa, Lulu, and Safi began traveling throughout the Hakuna Matata Jungle together after they have finished their latest vine swinging race on the trees which Simba has managed to win again for the tenth time so far, and they began heading to one of the nearest pools of water so they could take a bath together. While they do so, they warmly greeted the other inhabitants of the Hakuna Matata Jungle such as some giraffes eating from some of the trees, some baboons who jump across some of the the trees, some elephants who drank from some of the rivers, some hippos who swam across some of the rivers, some lovebirds who flew across the jungle, some ostriches who took care of their nests, some zebras who frolicked across the jungle, and some red colobuses who groomed each other.

Soon, the twins and their best friends arrive at one of the pools of water that has a glorious waterfall within the Hakuna Matata Jungle where they begin taking a bath together and take care of their personal hygiene together. While they did so, they playfully splashed each other, squirted each other, and made some dives within the pool of water. Also, even Pumbaa accidentally passed gas within the pool of water, much to his embarrassment, however, Simba, Amani, Timon, Lulu, and Safi doesn't mind it at all since they already understand Pumbaa suffers from severe flatulence, and they begin joining in farting along with him the poo of water just for fun which causes various bubbles to bubble up in the air from the water.

Simba, Amani, Timon, Pumbaa, Lulu, and Safi get finished with bathing each other as well as playing with each other in the pool of water, and then they continue to travel throughout the Hakuna Matata Jungle together just as they witness the many other inhabitants of the jungle live together in peace and harmony. Soon, it is now nighttime, and the twins and their best friends arrive in the midst of the jungle where they prepare to go to sleep together once they all begin to feel very drowsy, and they say goodnight to each other and then they fell asleep together in the middle of the Hakuna Matata Jungle.

However, Simba is unable to sleep due to still very guilty for causing Mufasa's death just as he stared at the shining stars in the night sky, and Amani quickly noticed Simba couldn't sleep due to being so guilty for Mufasa's death just as she still refused to believe that his death was entirely their fault and began staring at the stars in the night sky as well. Amani attempts to comfort Simba and attempt

"Simba, what's the matter?" asked Amani.

"I just can't sleep," said Simba.

"Let me guess. It's because of what happened to our father years go." said Amani

"Yes, and we're both responsible for his death, Amani." said Simba.

"But that can't be true," said Amani.

"Sorry, but it has to be the truth," said Simba.

"I won't believe it for one minute, and we would never do anything like that. Not ever." said Amani.

"But I think so, even though we are such good people, Sis." said Simba. "Also, most of all, every time when I look at those stars, it reminded me of what our father told us when we used to be little cubs and I love that story so much."

"It reminded me of that story our father has told us during our childhood too and I love that kind of story so much too." said Amani. "Simba, you may think that our father isn't watchting us from the stars along with the Great Sovereigns Of The Past, but he is and I just know he is."

Simba sighed sadly just as he began shedding tears. "Maybe he isn't watching over us…and it's cause of what we've done to him."

"He is watching over us and what he did to him can't actually be the truth," said Amani.

"I've always loved our father so much and I miss him so much." said Simba.

"I love him so much and I miss him so much too." said Amani just as she sadly sighed and began shedding tears as well.

"Good night, Amani." said Simba.

"Good night, Simba," said Amani.

Simba and Amani both stared at each other just as Simba continued to believe that Mufasa's death was his and Amani's fault and Amani continued to refuse to believe the fact that Mufasa's death was her and Simba's fault, and then they both stared at the shining stars together just as they both wondered if their deceased father was actually watching over them along with their many ancestors of the royal family The Great Sovereigns Of The Past while their loving sibling relationship has become very strained due to Simba thinking that they have been responsible for his death and Amani refusing to believe they have been responsible for it. Soon, the twins get finished with staring at the stars together and fall asleep along with Timon, Pumbaa, Lulu, and Safi who are still asleep during their whole conversation.

While her twin brother Simba as well as Timon, Pumbaa, Lulu, and Safi were sleeping, Amani mysteriously began having a dream within her mind where she's at the vast glorious savannah of the Serengeti Plains that is located in the glorious kingdom of the Sunrise Kingdom, and she witnessed many of the inhabitants of the kingdoms do what they would usually do around the kingdom such as antelopes leaping throughout the savannah, hippos taking good care of each other, flamingos dancing together in a pool of water, zebras eating some of the grass, squirrels carrying their nuts to some of the trees, cheetahs racing each other throughout the savannah, black-and-white colobuses sharing some fruit with each other, giraffes necking each other, eagles flying throughout the savannah, and elephants swimming across the rivers together.

Just as she witnessed the many inhabitants of the Sunrise Kingdom live together, Amani was greatly amazed just as she wondered if she had returned back to Sunrise Kingdom and if she did, she wondered where her older twin brother Simba is located. Suddenly, she is greeted by a mysterious lioness who turns out to be one of the Great Sovereigns Of The Past Queen Nyota who was the very first sovereign and founder of the Sunrise Kingdom King Jua's daughter and the first queen regnant of the kingdom thousands of years ago.

At first, Amani didn't recognize Queen Nyota until she informed her of who she really is, and she became very surprised upon seeing the very first queen of the kingdom within her own dreams. Also, the past queen regnant of the Sunrise Kingdom proceeds with her plan to convince Amani and Simba return back to the Sunrise Kingdom so Simba could take his rightful place as the sovereign and Amani must help him become the rightful sovereign as well as help him with running the kingdom since she's his younger twin sister by using the dream version of the Serengeti Plains within the Sunrise Kingdom that she is in right now.

"Where am I? Is this the Sunrise Kingdom? And who are you supposed to be anyway?" asked Amani.

"I am known as Queen Nyota." said Nyota.

"Wait a minute. You are Queen Nyota?" asked Amani.

Nyota nodded her head yes. "The daughter of King Jua and Queen Mwezi, the first queen regnant of the Sunrise Kingdom, and the one who has led the Sunrise Pride to battle the Wrathful Pride thousands of years ago during the ancient times."

"Wow! It's an honor to meet the legendary Queen Nyota, daughter of King Jua and the one who has defeated the Wrathful Pride thousands of years ago." said Amani. "Also, where am I?"

"You're in the Sunrise Kingdom in the Serengeti Plains, Amani, and this is actually in your own dreams." said Nyota.

"This is actually all a dream? But why am I in a whole dream version of the Sunrise Kingdom anyway?" asked Amani.

"So, you could learn about what's been going on in the Sunrise Kingdom for the past years after you and your twin brother Simba have left," said Nyota.

"What's going on?" asked Amani.

"Something terrible," said Nyota.

Amani gasped in surprise. "But what are you talking about? Everything in the Sunrise Kingdom looks alright." She stared at the many inhabitants of the Sunrise Kingdom living in harmony.

"Yes, but that was until all of this happened throughout the years, Amani," said Nyota.

Suddenly, the Serengeti Plains within the Sunrise Kingdom turn into a dry and barren wasteland where all of the water in the many pools of water such as the lakes and rivers has completely dried up and all of the plants, grass, trees, and flowers wither away and the many inhabitants of the kingdom quickly turn into dead skeletons of themselves due to the lack of food and water in the kingdom which is to explain of how the Sunrise Kingdom began suffering from a severe drought and famine ever since Scar became the new sovereign and allowed his hyena minions to overhunt the herds.

Upon seeing the devastated Sunrise Kingdom, Amani became greatly horrified by how it turned out throughout the years, and Nyota explains everything to her about how Scar has been ruling the kingdom as a tyrant and how Simba and Amani must return to the Sunrise Kingdom in order to save it from Scar's tyranny and have Simba take his rightful place as sovereign and Amani help him become the sovereign and help him with running the kingdom no matter what.

"Oh, my goodness! What happened to the Sunrise Kingdom?" asked Amani.

"The entire kingdom has turned into nothing but a wasteland, and that's exactly what happened throughout these years during your and Simba's absence," said Nyota.

"It isn't glorious any longer, and all the plants are dead, the water has dried up, and many animals have died from lack of food and water. Who would do such a thing?" asked Amani.

"You're uncle Scar did this kind of thing and it has been happening ever since he became sovereign." said Nyota.

"But why would he do it?" asked Amani.

"Because he doesn't truly care about the great Circle Of Life, and it has been going out of balance during his reign," said Nyota. "He only cares about power and doing whatever he wants whenever he wants without even carrying out his responsibilities as ruler, and he even allowed the hyenas to overrun the kingdom and hunt so recklessly which is one of the main causes of all of this."

"I can't believe Scar has been ruling the kingdom like this which is causing the Circle Of Life to be out of balance," said Amani. "Honestly, something must be done about all this, and if it doesn't sooner or later, then everybody will eventually perish from hunger and thirst. Including the Sunrise Pride."

"You're right, something must be done about this, and I know how the kingdom can be saved from your uncle Scar and his reign over the kingdom." said Nyota.

"How is it possible?" asked Nyota.

"You and your brother Simba." explained Nyota. "You two are able to save the kingdom because you two are the true heirs to the throne since King Mufasa is your father. Simba is the rightful sovereign and you're the one who must help him with ruling the kingdom when he ascends the throne."

"What you just said to me is absolutely true, and Simba and I must come back to the Sunrise Kingdom so we can save it from Scar, the hyenas, and his tyranny." said Amani. "He is the rightful sovereign and I'm still the princess, and Scar isn't the true sovereign anyway and he doesn't deserve the throne."

"Yes and he isn't such a great ruler either." said Nyota. "So, you and Simba must return to the Sunrise Kingdom, save it from Scar and the hyenas, and Simba must take his place as the rightful sovereign as well as take his place in the great Circle Of Life and you must help your brother do so and you must take your place in the Circle Of Life as well."

"Don't worry, Nyota, I will and Simba will too. We shall save the Sunrise Kingdom from our uncle and continue the great Circle of Life." said Amani. "Also, it isn't gonna be that easy either."

"You're right, and you'll think of something sooner or later. Goodbye, Princess Amani, daughter of King Mufasa." said Nyota.

"Goodbye, Queen Nyota, daughter of Jua, and thank you very much for telling me everything about how everything has turned out." said Amani.

Suddenly, Queen Nyota's spirit then leaves Amani's dream world, and Amani then wakes up from her dream world and comes back to the real world where she was very surprised upon meeting one of her and Simba's ancestors of the Sunrise Kingdom royal family Queen Nyota who is the daughter of the very first sovereign King Jua and the one who has led the Sunrise Pride into war with the Wrathful Pride many years ago, and she was also very surprised to learn how everything has turned out in the Sunrise Kingdom which has turned into a dry and barren wasteland suffering from a drought and famine due to Scar ruling it as a tyranny and not carrying out his responsibilities as a sovereign like he's supposed to as well as allowing the hyenas to hunt whenever they want to which caused the great Circle Of Life to be thrown out of balance.

After meeting Queen Nyota within her dreams and learning that the Sunrise Kingdom and everybody who lives in the kingdom is now in complete danger due to Scar's tyranny and allowing the hyenas to do whatever they want in the kingdom which is also putting the Circle Of Life in danger as well, Amani realizes that she and Simba must return to the kingdom in order to save it and have Simba take his rightful place as king since as well as help him rule the kingdom and continue being a princess since they're both King Mufasa's son and daughter and the true heirs to the throne . Also, she already knows that it won't be so easy at all due to Simba feeling so guilty for Mufasa's death and her disbelief over causing his death which causes their relationship to become very strained, so must figure out how to convince him somehow.

The next day in the Hakuna Matata Jungle, Simba and Amani are both taking a walk together throughout the jungle, and while they do so, they both witness many beautiful butterflies flutter across the jungle, much to their amazement. Also, during their walk throughout the jungle together, Amani proceed to inform Simba about the dream she had last night which is one of their ancestors Queen Nyota informing her about everything has turned out in the Sunrise Kingdom during their exile and how Scar has been ruling the kingdom in a tyrannical way as well as allow the hyenas to take over the kingdom and allow them to have whatever they want in the kingdom, and that they must return to the Sunrise Kingdom to save it from Scar and his tyranny so he could ascend the throne as the rightful sovereign and continue being a princess since they're both the rightful heirs to the throne of the Royal Kopje Of The Shining Sun.

"Isn't it a beautiful day in the jungle, Sis?" asked Simba.

"Absolutely, Brother, and it always has been so beautiful in the jungle," said Amani.

"That's right, and look at the butterflies. Each of them look so beautiful too." said Simba.

Amani nodded her head. "True, and I guess they see it's the perfect time to fly together on a day just like this one."

"I can see that already and we would sometimes see butterflies flutter together throughout the jungle on such beautiful days," said Simba.

"Hey, Simba, may I tell you something and you really need to hear this." said Amani.

"Yeah, what is it, Amani?" asked Simba.

"Last night, I had a dream," said Amani.

"You had a dream? What was it about?" asked Simba.

"However, it wasn't just an ordinary dream, it was kind of a warning dream." said Amani.

"A warning dream? What are you talking about?" asked Simba.

"I saw the Sunrise Kingdom being such a glorious kingdom as usual…but…but it turned into nothing but a dry and barren wasteland." said Amani.

"What?" asked Simba in surprise and shock.

"All of the water has dried up and all of the plants have been dying, and it caused a drought and famine to hit the kingdom," said Amani. "Also, our uncle Scar has been ruling the kingdom as a tyrant and let the hyenas live in the kingdom and let them hunt whenever they want to which is one of the main reasons of the drought and famine, and because of that, the great Circle Of Life is now out of balance and Scar isn't even ruling under the concept of the Circle Of Life either since he would rather rule for power rather than he's supposed to."

"But how do you know all of that can be happening in the Sunrise Kingdom right now?" asked Simba.

"Because one of our ancestors, Queen Nyota, told me all about it in my dreams," said Amani.

"You met Queen Nyota, the daughter of the founder of the Sunrise Kingdom King Jua and the one who defeated the Wrathful Pride thousands of years ago?" said Simba. "Are you serious about that?"

"Yes. Simba, I'm telling the truth and I really did see her in my dreams. She told me everything has turned out ever since we left the kingdom and when Scar became king." said Amani. "Look, Simba, we…we…we gotta go back."

"Go back? Go back to the Sunrise Kingdom?" asked Simba.

"We're gonna have to and it's to save the Sunrise Kingdom and everybody who lives there, including the male lions and lionesses of the Sunrise Pride." said Amani. "The future of the Sunrise Pride and everybody else in the Sunrise Kingdom are now at stake all because of Scar being such a tyrant

Simba stared at Amani in complete surprise and shock for a moment just as he couldn't believe that he has met one of the Great Sovereigns Of The Past Queen Nyota who is the very first reigning queen of the Sunrise Kingdom within her own dreams and informed her about Scar has been ruling the kingdom tyrannically and allowed the hyenas to take over it which put the whole kingdom from a drought and famine and put the Circle Of Life out of balance in the process, and he began deciding that if he and she should return to the Sunrise Kingdom in order to save it from Scar and his tyrannical reign as well as the hyenas or shouldn't do so at all.

Simba thinks it over if he and Amani should go back to the Sunrise Kingdom and save it from Scar and the hyenas as well as if he should take his rightful place as the sovereign of the Sunrise Kingdom and Amani to help him with becoming the rightful sovereign while she would help him run the kingdom and continue being a princess for a moment, but he is unable to do so due to being very guilty for Mufasa's death and already knows that what happened in the past can't be changed no matter what, and he and Amani must let go of the past and move on forward to the future, so he refused to go back to the Sunrise Kingdom due to his own guilt.

Amani suddenly became very shocked by Simba's choice not to return to the Sunrise Kingdom in order to rescue the kingdom from Scar and the hyenas and in order to take his rightful place as the sovereign while she would help him with ruling the kingdom and continue being a princess since they're both the rightful heirs to the throne, and she couldn't believe he made that kind of choice while she attempts to convince him to save the kingdom since it's now at stake but he continues to refuse to do so since he's still consumed by guilt of Mufasa's death which made their relationship became even more strained them ever.

"Amani, we can't go back to the Sunrise Kingdom. We can never go back." said Simba.

"What? Simba, how could you say such a thing?" asked Amani.

"Don't you remember? We can't go back because of what happened to our father so many years ago and it's all our fault." said Simba.

"But we have to go back and rescue the kingdom from Scar and the hyenas, and we weren't actually responsible for our father's death," said Amani.

"Let somebody else save the kingdom from Scar and the hyena. We can't do it all, and being responsible for our father's death is true." said Simba.

"But it just can't be the truth and we really need to go back. And besides, who's gonna do it rather than us? Nobody will 'cause there's nobody left to do so." said Amani. "So, we gotta do it, and you're still the sovereign. You're the true heir to the throne and I am the true heir to the throne too. We both are, and we gotta take back the throne so we can save the kingdom from Scar and his tyranny."

"I was gonna be the king, but I am no longer gonna be the king because of our father's death and I guess I can't be worthy of ascending the throne after what just happened years ago." said Simba. "Amani, you're just gonna have to face the fact that his death is all our fault, and we can never return to the kingdom either 'cause we're both responsible."

"Simba, please just listen to me. I know what we've been through is very tragic, but you're still the rightful sovereign and I'm still a princess." said Amani. "We gotta go back to the Sunrise Kingdom and save it from Scar and the hyenas, and everybody is now in danger. Just listen to me, and we gotta do something about the whole situation, and if we won't do something, then everybody we care about so much will eventually die from the drought and famine. So we must go back."

"Look, Amani, like we just said to ourselves from when we first met Timon, Pumbaa, Lulu, and Safi, we just gotta put the past behind us and move on forward," said Simba. "What we've been through is now all in the past, and we can't just cling onto the past or even dwell into the past to make things better. In order to make things better, we just gotta let go of the past and embrace the future, and what happened in the past can't be changed."

"You're absolutely right, what happened in the past can't be changed, but I've discovered that we gotta face the past no matter what after I met Queen Nyota's spirit who told me everything in my dreams last night." said Amani. "It's very true that you gotta let go of the past and move forward since it doesn't bring happiness, but you must face it. Simba, please, you need to understand that we have to go back and save the Sunrise Kingdom from Scar and the hyenas before it's too late. Please."

"I'm…I'm…I'm so sorry but I just can't, even after what happened to our own father which is both all our own fault, and you can't change the past." said Simba.

"But, Simba, it can't be true, and we gotta go back no matter what while we must face the past." said Amani. "We can't change the past, but we gotta face it so we could do the right thing for everybody in the Sunrise Kingdom, and we can't just sit by and let Scar and the hyenas destroy everything in the kingdom and let everybody be sentenced to death from the lack of food and water supply."

"I wish something could be done, but just let somebody else do it and it's not actually our problem to deal with." said Simba. "Oh, and by the way, ever since our father has died from the stampede in the Olduvai Gorge when we used to be cubs, which is all our fault…I…I…I honestly don't know who I am anymore, Sis."

Amani gasped in surprise and shock. "But your name is Simba, the son of Mufasa and the crown prince of the Sunrise Kingdom."

"And you're Amani, the daughter of Mufasa and the princess of the Sunrise Kingdom." said Simba. "But I'm no longer the crown prince since our father's death is all our fault."

"But, Simba, please just listen…" said Amani just as she tried to explain, but Simba interrupted her.

"I'm so sorry, but I'm no longer who I was way back then. Especially after what happened." said Simba. "I'll see ya later, Amani. Bye."

Simba then leaves Amani and continues to travel throughout the Hakuna Matata Jungle all by himself just as he continue to feel very guilty about causing Mufasa's death many years ago in the wildebeest stampede in the Olduvai Gorge, and he has refused to return to the Sunrise Kingdom in order to save it from Scar's tyranny and take his place as the rightful sovereign due to being consumed by complete guilt even though the severe drought and famine in the kingdom would put everybody who lives in the kingdom, especially the Sunrise Pride, in complete danger all because of Scar and his terrible reign just as he began shedding tears.

Also, after Simba left her by herself, Amani began shedding tears as well just as she became deeply heartbroken by Simba's refusal to return to the Sunrise Kingdom in order to save it from Scar and the hyenas as well as his tyranny and take his place as the rightful sovereign while she would help him run the kingdom and continue being a princess since they're both the true royal heirs to the throne of the Royal Kopje Of The Shining Sun, and she wishes that Simba would just understand that they must go back and save the Sunrise Kingdom no matter what while they must face the past which couldn't be changed.
