Saiyan Anti-Hero
"So… she's not your daughter through normal means, but rather she's a clone of you, but something went wrong in the cloning process, and she's a girl? Did I understand you right?" Bulma questioned.
"Basically. She was made to destroy me, because the creators of Cadmus considered me evil." Goku said.
"Hmph, such cowardly acts of evil are unforgivable." Vegeta said.
"Says the guy who willingly let Babidi take control of him, to reawaken the evil in his heart." Bulma said.
"How many times are you gonna keep reminding me of that woman?" Vegeta questioned.
"As many times as I need to." Bulma said.
"Anyways, the reason why I brought her here, was because I thought she'd do well with some training from Vegeta, to show her a difference in skills. I even got some Senzu Beans from Korin, so you can go all out, without killing her of course." Goku said.
"Why can't she just fight against you?" Bulma asked.
"I tried offering her that, but she refused. She said she was afraid what Cadmus was brainwashing her to do, might happen." Goku said.
"I see, so you're wanting me to train that fear out of her, correct?" Vegeta asked.
"Yeah, if you don't mind." Goku said.
"Hmph, very well Kakarot, but you owe me for this one." Vegeta said. "Now if only we could get Trunks to stop pleading with her to spar with him. I can sense that she's stronger than him by a great deal."
Over away from their conversation, Kali was trying to walk away from the purple haired boy, but he wouldn't leave her alone long enough to let that happen.
"So are you really as strong as Goku says? Please fight me, I'm really wanting to fight someone other than Goten. He's your brother by the way, and he's very strong, but I can sense your power level is higher than his." Trunks kept blabbing on.
"I am never, having kids." Kali groaned, before she began to run, with Trunks following closely behind.
"Hey where you going, come back." Trunks said.
"Trunks." Bulma called out. "I think it's time you left the poor girl alone. Why don't you come with me to give Chichi a call? I'm gonna ask her to come over, so Goku can talk with her."
"Oh, I already called Goten and told him about his sister." Trunks said.
"You what?" Goku, Bulma, and Vegeta questioned in panic.
"Yeah, I told him about how Goku had a secret child that he brought here, and then he said he'd tell his mom after the call ended." Trunks said.
"When was this young man?" Bulma questioned.
"About when Goku started talking to you. They should be here any minute now." Trunks said.
"Kakarot." Vegeta said. "You wanna hide in the Gravity Chamber Room?" He inquired.
"Yes please." Goku said, sounding scared out of his mind.
"GOKU." An angry woman's voice echoed through the air.
"Thanks Vegeta." Goku said, running off in a cloud of dust.
"Um, who's coming?" Kali asked, walking up to Bulma.
"Goku's wife, and kids, Chichi, Gohan, Goten, and probably Gohan's wife Videl." Bulma said. "Chichi can be real scary when she wants to be. You should stand behind Vegeta just to be safe."
"Why use me as a meat shield?" Vegeta questioned as Kali ran behind him.
"Because I can't go Super Saiyan, and Chichi is most likely pissed." Bulma said.
"Goku, where the hell are you, ya cheating bastard?" Chichi called out dropping to the ground.
"Mom, don't just force yourself out of my arms like that." A young man, wearing glasses with a sweater vest, and brown pants, said coming down with a black haired woman in red, and a younger, smaller looking version of Goku.
"Can it Gohan. I'm gonna beat some answers out of your father if it's the last thing I do." Chichi said looking around.
"Well I don't know about dad, but I'm sensing a strong power level coming from behind Vegeta." Goten exclaimed.
"Chichi hi. So I know you're here because of what Trunks told Goten but let me explain…"
"Can it Bulma. Where is my husband? I'm wanting to give him a piece of my mind about loyalty to one's wife." Chichi exclaimed.
"Would you pipe down and listen already?" Bulma asked.
"So, who are you?" Gohan asked as he, Goten, and Videl, went to actually talk with Kali.
"I'm Kali." She said, walking out from behind Vegeta. "It's nice to meet you all, including the loud lady."
"That's my mom. She's wanting answers, and so am I. Are you really my sister?" Gohan inquired.
"Well… technically yes, but…"
"Whoa, so cool, I have a big sister." Goten smiled. "Hey, why do you have Superman's symbol on your big boobies?"
"Rude." Kali said, turning away with a blush, while crossing her arms over her chest.
"Now hold up there Goten." Vegeta exclaimed. "Let her talk."
"That wasn't very nice Goten." Gohan said. "But I am curious as to why you have his symbol to."
"I'm… I'm an artificially created person." Kali sighed, those words causing Chichi to stop arguing with Bulma.
"Hold up, what did you just say? Are you an android or something?" Chichi inquired.
"No, she's not an android. She's a clone, made from Goku's DNA. Though something went wrong in the cloning process her creators used, and Kali came out as a woman instead of a man. Technically, she's only four months old."
"Really?" Videl asked.
"Y-yes." Kali said, shyly. "I was force grown to be sixteen, one year per week, so I'm still technically new to the world."
"Trunks had gone and called Goten without me knowing, and told Goten incomplete information." Bulma said.
"So, Goku didn't cheat on me with some hussy from that other earth?" Chichi inquired.
"Nope."
"Oh thank goodness, I don't know what I would have done if I had chosen to get a divorce." Chichi sighed before walking up to Kali. "So, you really are Goku's daughter huh?"
"Well, in a way, he is my dad so…" Kali said, before Chichi pulled her into a hug.
"Well, just consider me your mom then." Chichi exclaimed. "Now tell me, are you a scholar, or a fighter?"
"She was bred to fight and destroy Kakarot. So it's safe to assume she's a martial artist." Vegeta exclaimed.
"All the brain programming of wanting to destroy Goku, was most likely removed by a telepath who helped her escape the labs that she was created in." Bulma said. "So there shouldn't be any reason to worry about her going after him. But she seems afraid to train with Goku in case there's still some remaining. He's hoping that experiencing the difference between power levels, between her and Vegeta, can scare that fear out of her, and make her comfortable with sparring against him."
"How about I fight her?" Gohan suggested, removing his sweater vest. "I mean, what's a little sparring match between siblings?"
"Question girly." Vegeta said. "Can you go Super Saiyan?"
"N-no. Even though that was my designated project name, I'm unable to go Super Saiyan." Kali exclaimed.
"Hmph, once this is done, I should teach you how to go Super Saiyan. But a little tidbit is, extreme anger can be a good trigger for unlocking your Super Saiyan potential." Vegeta said.
"Alright, that's enough of that Mr. Gloomy Gus. Let's just watch the two siblings duke it out for a while." Bulma said. "Trunks, go get Goku from the Gravity Chamber."
"Got it mom." Trunks said, running off.
"So that's where he's been huh? Hiding while training?" Chichi asked.
"Just hiding. There's no way Vegeta would allow Goku to use the Gravity Chamber for training." Bulma laughed.
"Okay, you ready to begin?" Gohan asked, taking a fighting stance.
Kali stood across from him, and took her own fighting stance, ready to fight Gohan when it came to it.
"Begin." Vegeta called out.
~Mount Justice July 8th~
"Hey so, when do you think Kali's gonna be back from that training trip with her dad? It's been like, a few days since she left right?" Kid Flash questioned, talking with Robin.
"I'm sure she's fine. She'll be back in no time. Can't let Ms. M, do all the cooking around here, can she?" Robin asked.
"It's fine I don't mind the cooking." Megan said. "But it would be nice if I wasn't the only girl on the team with a bunch or hormonal boys in the cave."
"I'm sure you'll be fine. None of us here would do anything inappropriate, I assure you." Aqualad said. "Maybe Kid Flash, but…"
"Hey, not cool dude." Kid Flash said, causing Robin and Aqualad to laugh. "Okay ha-ha, very funny."
"But seriously. None of us would do anything that would make you, feel unwelcomed here." Robin said. "I think Kali would kick our asses if we were to do anything like that."
"Damn straight I would."
The group turned around to see Kali with the sleeves of her solar suit, torn off. In total, she looked a little worse for wear.
"Whoa, what happened to you?" Robin asked.
"Let's just say, my big brother Gohan can really pack a punch." Kali chuckled. "I sparred with him for six hours straight, and then my dad decided to teach me the Instant Transmission technique so I wouldn't keep bugging him for a ride between worlds, after that Vegeta began training me, very painfully but still managed to teach me a few new moves. An' then when it was time for me to return here, Chichi, Goku's wife, packed me enough supplies to last a whole month's camping trip."
"I take it, Chichi took the news of you rather well then?" Aqualad asked.
"Not at first, but after she was told about how I was created, she took it better than expected, even convinced me to start calling her mom." Kali said.
"Makes sense, I mean she is Goku's wife." Kid Flash said. "So, when's the next time you'll be going back?"
"In a couple weeks. Vegeta's wife Bulma invited me to her birthday on a cruise liner, she told me I could bring a Plus 1, if I wanted. I just gotta let her know in advance." Kali said.
"Oh really, so who you gonna bring?" Kid Flash asked in a flirtatious manner.
"Not you, lady killer." Kali groaned. "I'll be taking Superboy with me."
"Really? That stick in the mud?" Kid Flash questioned.
"Kid… it's Kali's choice on who she brings as her Plus 1, we should respect that." Aqualad said.
"Yeah don't be jealous man." Robin said. "But I am curious as to why Superboy."
"He and I are basically brother and sister, we grew up in pods but, we were right beside one another." Kali said.
"I get it." Robin smiled.
Sniff. Sniff-sniff.
"Are those peanut butter cookies I'm smelling?" Kali asked.
"Yeah, I'm making a new batch since the last ones I made, didn't end up so great." Megan said. "You can call me Megan by the way."
"What happened to the burnt batch?" Kali asked.
"Wally ate them." Robin said, pointing to Kid Flash.
"I have a serious metabolism." Kid Flash said.
"So do I. But I'm not gonna eat a whole bag of charcoal briquettes." Kali said. "Why don't I give you a hand Megan?"
"You can cook?" The Martian girl asked.
"Not in reality, but the G-Gnomes force fed me cooking skills that would even leave Gordon Ramsey gobsmacked and speechless." Kali said.
"Then by all means, start cooking." Megan said.
"Hey, I saw a weird space ship in the docking bay on my way in. Is that yours Megan?" Kali asked.
"Yep. That's my Bioship. I have her in sleep mode right now." Megan said.
"Tell you what? Why don't you take the others out for a flight while I do some cooking?" Kali suggested.
"You sure?" Megan asked.
"Oh yeah. I've had enough excitement to last until Bulma's party, and I've got the bruised to prove it." Kali said.
"We'll be sure to keep in contact with you if we need you." Robin said as they left.
Kali cracked some eggs into a bowl, but spotted Superboy sitting on the couch, blankly starring at the television.
"Aren't you gonna go with them?" Kali asked.
"I… I overreacted when Megan used her telepathic powers and…"
"You don't feel you deserve to have some fun with her bioship." Kali finished. "I get it. But go anyways, I'm sure she'd love to have you join the tour."
Superboy looked to Kali, seeing her smiling face as she began beating the eggs.
"Alright fine, I'll go." Superboy sighed, getting up and going after the others.
Reaching them as they boarded the ship, Superboy saw Megan was surprised to see him, but smiled, showing him she was happy he came to join their journey.
"Strap in for launch." Megan said, as they reached the cockpit of the ship. "Red Tornado, please open the bay doors."
The bioship began to lift off into the air, as the bay doors opened, giving them a clear path to the open air as they soared through the skies to Happy Harbor.
"Incredible." Robin said.
"Huh, she sure is." Kid Flash said. "T-the ship I mean, because all ships are a she."
"Fast with his feet, not so much with his mouth." Robin chuckled.
"Dude." Wally said.
Up in the two front seats, Aqualad could tell something was on Superboy's mind.
"I may not have psychic powers, but I can guess what you're thinking." He said. "You overreacted, and you don't know how to apologize. Just say sorry."
Megan was looking at Superboy, like she wanted to apologize for doing something wrong, and offending him.
"He'll come around." Robin said, noticing Megan's look.
"He doesn't seem to like me much." Megan said.
"You guys remember, he has super hearing, right?" Kid Flash said.
This caused the duo to look at Superboy.
"Hey, how about showing us a bit of Martian Shapeshifting?" Robin suggested.
Megan smiled, and stood up, before shapeshifting into a female Robin, then Kid Flash.
"Is it wrong that I think I'm hot?" Kid Flash questioned.
"Maybe a little self-absorbed, and narcissistic, but otherwise, no." Kali's voice came over the intercom.
"You heard that?"
"Intercom is on dummy." Kali said.
"Impressive." Robin said clapping his hands. "But, you know you're not exactly gonna fool anyone with those."
"Mimicking boys, is a lot harder." Megan said.
"An' your clothes." Aqualad said.
"They're organic like the ship." Megan said.
"Lucky, you." Kali chuckled. "I'd kill for a set of clothes that could shapeshift into anything I wanted."
"They respond to my mental commands." Megan said.
"As long as they're the only ones." Superboy said.
"Be nice Superboy. Or no cookies for you when you get back." Kali said.
"Fine." Superboy grumbled.
"Can you do that ghosting through walls thing that Manhunter does?" Kid Flash asked.
"It's called Density Shifting, genius." Kali said.
"No, it's a very advanced technique." Megan said.
"Flash can vibrate his molecules right through a wall. When KF tries it, bloody nose." Robin laughed.
"That is funny." Kali said, her laughter being heard over the intercom.
"Dude." Kid Flash said, panicking.
"Here's something I can do." Megan said. "Martian cloaking. Otherwise known as camouflage mode."
"Red Tornado to Ms. Martian. An emergency alert has been triggered at the Happy Harbor Power Plant. I suggest you investigate. Covertly. I'm sending you coordinates." Red Tornado said.
"Coordinates received." Megan said. "Adjusting course."
"Tornado's keeping us busy again." Robin said.
"Well, as simple fire lead you to Superboy and me." Kali said. "You should find out what caused the alert, I'll be there once I'm sure I won't burn down the cave leaving the oven on."
"Just come when you can. You'll probably be too late for any real action." Robin said.
"Just be careful. Not everything is as it seems when it comes to a situation." Kali said. "I learned that fighting Vegeta."
"Got it." Megan said.
"I think I know the cause of the alert." Superboy said, spotting a tornado coming straight for them.
Immediately, Megan began moving the bioship to evade the tornado, but they still wound up getting caught in it. After they were sucked into the vortex, Megan kicked the bioship into high gear, and forced their way out of the tunneling vortex.
When the bioship landed, they all got out to see all the workers panicking and running for their lives.
"Robin, are tornado's common to New England?" Aqualad questioned looking to see his teammate was gone. "Robin?"
"He ghosted didn't he?" Kali questioned.
"H-he was just here." Megan said.
"You'll get used to it." Kid Flash said before the windows to the power plant began bursting from air pressure being released from the inside.
Inside the power plant, Robin was thrown into a pillar before falling to the ground as Superboy and the others joined in on the fun, finding a giant robot with a scarf around his neck, causing the chaos.
"Who's your new friend?" Superboy asked.
"Didn't catch his name, but he plays kinda rough." Robin said.
"My apologies. You may address me as Mister Twister." The robot said, before creating tornados and using them to send Superboy flying back into a wall, with a loud crack, stopping the boy of steel from advancing any closer to him.
"Should we call for Kali?" Megan asked.
"We might need her." Superboy said picking himself back up.
"An' disturb her as she's making delectable pastries? No way. I'm not gonna miss out on those." Kid Flash said.
"We'll call her if the situation is needed. She and Superboy are our heaviest hitters, so we need to keep at least one of them on standby for the time being." Aqualad said, before they charged at Mister Twister.
Kid Flash went running at him, and flipped over, thrusting his feet at the robot for a double kick, before Mister Twister used his wind power to redirect Kid Flash's momentum and send him flying out the open bay door of the power plant.
Turning back to the other sidekicks, Mister Twister knocked Megan and Aqualad back with his power, leaving Robin as the only fighter left.
"I was prepared to be challenged by a superhero. I was not however, expecting children." Mister Twister said.
"We're not children." Robin said, throwing a bomb, then one of his explosive throwing discs at Mister Twister, who deflected the smoke bomb, but was hit by the blade.
"Objectively you are." Mister Twister said, flicking the disc out of his chest, before it exploded. "Have you no adult supervision? I find your presence here, quite disturbing."
"Well we hate to see you disturbed, let's see if you're turbed, once we kick your can." Robin said, before Megan used her telekinetic powers, to cause a distraction, giving Superboy an opening to leap and strike at Mister Twister, but his attack was cut short as the robot sent his own counter attack at him, sending the boy of steel flying into a high beam, then slamming down into Megan.
With Aqualad and Robin charging at him, Mister Twister created two mini-twisters that picked up the two teammates, and slammed them into each other.
"Indeed. That was quite turbing. Thank you." Mister Twister said, before he took to the outdoors.
"Ugh, Kali… we could use your help right about now." Robin said, picking himself up and speaking into the intercom, but all he got was silence. "Kali?"
Flying outside, Mister Twister was about to cause more havoc before Kid Flash came running and stopped him.
"What have you done to my team?" Kid Flash questioned.
"Embarrassed them mostly." Mister Twister said, before creating a tornado and using it to grab Kid Flash, and send him into the building, but didn't suffer any impact as he stopped.
"I got you Wally." Megan said, as the rest of the team came out.
"Whoa, thanks." Wally said dropping back to the ground.
"I would have thought you'd all learned your limitations by now." Mister Twister said.
"Hey guys, sorry for the silence, I just had to give Bulma my RSVP." Kali's voice echoed through the intercom.
"Could have used you five minutes ago Kali." Robin said.
"What do you want?" Aqualad asked, shouting at Mister Twister.
"Isn't it obvious? I'm waiting for a real hero." Mister Twister said.
"Read his mind. Find a weakness." Aqualad said.
"I thought I wasn't supposed to do that?" Megan questioned.
"It's okay, with the bad guys." Robin said.
Megan looked from Robin, to Mister Twister, and began reaching out her psychic powers to try and read the mind of the one operating the suit, but she couldn't find anything.
"Nothing, I'm getting nothing." Megan said. "Hello Megan." She exclaimed bopping herself on the head. "Mister Twister is Red Tornado in disguise. He's inorganic, an android. How many androids do you know who can generate tornados?"
"Red Tornado sent us here." Aqualad said.
"Um Megan, there's just one big hole in your theory." Kali said. "Red Tornado is standing right in front of me, giving me a hand with mixing cake batter, by using his power in smaller percentages."
"Wait, he's what?" Robin asked.
"If he's with you… then that means…" Kid Flash said.
"You're up against an android with similar powers to Tornado's." Kali said. "Hang tight I'm on my way." With that the intercom went dead, before Kali appeared beside Superboy. "Man I wish I knew that trick a lot sooner. Would have saved us some headache escaping Cadmus."
"Where did you come from?" Kid Flash asked a bit spooked.
"I used Instant Transmission. It's instant." Kali said, before turning to where Mister Twister was flying in the air. "I'm gonna assume, that's Mister Twister?"
"Yep." Robin said.
"He's really strong huh?"
"Definitely." Aqualad said.
"Stand back, and let me handle this." Kali said with a smile, cracking her knuckles as she stepped up to him.
"Oh what's this? Another child for me to embarrass?" Mister Twister questioned.
Before any of them could blink, Kali disappeared from sight, taking everyone aback, including Mister Twister, before his sensors picked up on something above him. Twisting around and looking up, Mister Twister saw Kali's leg coming down and hit him in the head, sending the tin can to the ground, with an echoing boom.
"Whoa, I do not remember her being that strong." Kid Flash said looking in awe, as Mister Twister picked himself up, a dent in the shape of Kali's heel, on his head.
"Zenkai boost." Robin said. "I remember Goku telling Batman about them, whenever he agreed for Batman to do research on him during one of his previous visits."
"So what does a Zenkai boost do?" Superboy questioned.
"It gives an additional, permanent boost to a Saiyan's natural power, whenever they are injured, or close to death. Even coming back from the dead can give a Saiyan a major Zenkai boost." Robin explained, going over the data on his phone. "But for Kali to be this strong, she must have been close to death several times over during her training with Goku, Vegeta, and her brother."
"How, how is a child, this strong?" Mister Twister said, as Kali dropped to the ground, creating a cloud of dust.
"Simple. I eat my spinach." Kali said, dispersing the dust cloud with a swing of her arm, before she went straight for Mister Twister, slamming her fist into his robotic gut, and causing him to bend over, before pulling his head down into her fast approaching knee, and destroying one of his eyes.
"You destroyed one of my optic sensors." Mister Twister said, before Kali slammed her fists into his stomach with a barrage of attacks. "I underestimated this girl."
"You made one crucial mistake today when you chose to pick a fight." Kali said, destroying his legs, and sending him to the ground on his back, before she flew up into the air.
"An' that was picking a fight with a Saiyan, correct? How typically prideful you are, you monkey." Mister Twister said.
"No, your mistake wasn't picking a fight with a Saiyan." Kali said, holding her left hand up, and pressing the back of her right hand into the palm with her right leg up, as a purple energy started to form and emit from her hands. "Your mistake, was harming my friends." Kali declared. "I haven't tested this new move of mine in battle yet, but I'm just dying to know what you think of it." She said, as the energy build up reached the level she wanted. "Galick Gun." She cried out, thrusting both of her hands forward, and releasing the purple stream of energy.
Moments before the attack hit Mister Twister, the front of his chest popped open, and out jumped a man, in a janitor's suit, with disheveled brown hair, getting out of the way of the attack in time to avoid getting hit with Kali's blast.
Floating down to the ground, Kali held her hand out, building up a Ki energy blast in the palm of her hand, ten feet away from the man.
"Wait, please don't. Please spare me I'll do anything I'll…" The man said.
"Kali wait, don't…" Robin called out.
But Robin was too late as Kali sent her Ki blast at the man, hitting him in the chest and causing him to explode into pieces.
"I don't know how things are done on Planet Vegeta, or on the earth Goku lives on, but here, we don't kill people." Robin said.
"Would you relax and take a closer look boy wonder? I wasn't sensing any energy coming from him at all, and the only explanation for that would be, he's a robot, an android siting within a mecha suit and controlling it." Kali said.
"She's right, look." Kid Flash said, picking up a perfectly intact robotic eyeball. "Souvenir."
"Okay, no blood on your hands." Robin sighed. "So what was that I heard about Red Tornado making a cake with you?"
"I thought you were making cookies?" Megan asked with a smile.
"Well I was, but then I got a little excited about my first time cooking, and when I heard… Oh just get in the bioship and head back to the base, it'll be better if you see for yourselves." Kali said. "Oh, Black Canary just showed up, nice." She smiled, before using Instant Transmission.
After piling back into the bioship, the team headed back for the base, when they got there, they were delighted with the smell of cake, as the bioship's doors opened, allowing for that smell to hit their nostrils. When they got to the kitchen and dining area, they saw Kali there, putting the last touches on a large cake with the words, congrats on a successful job, written in frosting sitting on the table.
"Ta-da." Kali said. "Welcome back. Help yourselves."
"Wow, this looks good." Kid Flash smiled.
"How did you get this done so fast?" Robin asked.
"Trade secret." Kali smiled. "An' you don't tell them either Black Canary, or you Red Tornado."
"My lips are sealed." Black Canary smiled.
"I shall not, reveal to them your secret method of baking." Red Tornado said.
"Whatever it is, this is delicious." Kid Flash said. "It's even green on the inside."
"I'm glad you like it. This is actually a recipe I've been wanting to try out, since I figured out how to make it. I made recipes that turn all the foods you normally don't like to eat, into foods that you actually do like to eat. This cake, is actually made of broccoli, spinach, and green beans, with the white frosting made of chestnuts, celeriac, and mooli." Kali explained.
"No way. You've gotta be kidding me." Robin smiled.
"You are a culinary genius." Kid Flash said.
"Is it that good?" Black Canary asked.
"Try some and find out." Kali smiled, handing her a plate.
Black Canary took the plate, and had a bite of the cake, her eyes widening in shock.
"Oh my, this is good. It tastes like actual cake, I can't even tell there are vegetables in this." Black Canary said. "If you were to tell me this is ordinary cake, I'd believe you."
"Glad you like it. I'm actually gonna be making it for Bulma for her birthday in a couple weeks." Kali said.
"I had no idea you were capable of this. Those G-Gnomes really did feed you culinary creativity." Superboy said.
"Actually, this was all my doing, I got the idea one night when I was still on my dad's Earth." Kali said. "When staying at Bulma's place, I couldn't help but notice how Trunks refused to eat his vegetables every time they were served. So that got me thinking on how I could make eating vegetables, fun for him and other children to."
"Well, mission accomplished, I hate eating my vegetables, but I could eat this, all day." Robin said.
"Glad you think so Dick." Kali chuckled, amused at how he stopped mid bite when she said his name.
"How did you find out my secret identity?" Robin asked.
"It was easy. I just looked up your profile in the JLA Database." Kali smiled. "I'm quite resourceful myself you know."
"Enough about that. Tell us about your family on Goku's Earth, what's your brother like?" Superboy asked.
"Which one? I have my brother Gohan, and my brother Goten." Kali said.
"Tell us about Gohan." Aqualad exclaimed.
"Well, he's smart. He's a martial artist like my dad, but he's also a scholar. An' he wears this ridiculous costume and has a stupid hero name, Saiyaman." Kali said. "He took the word Saiyan, removed the n, and replaced it with man. Though mom can be a bit overbearing. She forces Gohan and Goten to do nothing but studying, and even tried to get me to do studying instead of fighting."
"What'd you do when she did that?" Kid Flash questioned.
"I completed all ten books in half an hour and went back to my training." Kali said. "I think she's wanting either Gohan or Goten to become famous scholars so they can treat her to an easy care free life without worry. She's basically a tiger mom, who decided what her sons were gonna be, instead of letting them choose for themselves, and wants to live off the benefits."
"That sounds about right." Robin said. "Hey, where'd all the cake go?"
"Wally." Megan said. "Kali didn't even get a piece, and she worked hard on that cake with Tornado."
"Sorry, it was just so good." Kid Flash said.
"Well you can make up for it, by doing the dishes, without using your powers." Black Canary said, pointing to the kitchen to where it was a big mess.
"Yes ma'am." Kid Flash sighed.
"The rest of you. To the training hall." Black Canary said.
