Saiyan Anti-Hero

~July 23rd~

"Seriously, that Wally is getting on my last nerve." Kali grumbled packing her bag.

Knock-knock…

"Come in." Kali called out.

"I hope I'm not interrupting something." A man's voice said as her bedroom door opened.

Recognizing that voice, Kali turned around to see Superman standing in her doorway, and he looked a little beat up.

"Oh, Superman. I'm sorry I didn't realize it was you. If I'd known you were coming, I'd have cleaned up a bit more." Kali said.

"It's fine, it was a last minute thing." Superman said flicking the speed bag in her room. "Wow, you really do have Kid Flash's face painted on your speed bag."

"Actually, it was a custom print I ordered." Kali said, as she continued to pack her bag.

"I see."

"So what can I do for you?"

"I wanted to ask you about Superboy." The man of steel said. "You and him, were both created at Project Cadmus, but you're so different. Goku and I are your typical friendship rivalry, but you and Superboy are complete opposites, you're both such good friends."

"Let me guess, there's a part of you, deep down that wants to accept Superboy as a son?" Kali asked.

"More like a brother, but is it that obvious?" Superman chuckled.

"Why else would you come to his sister for advice about him?" Kali smiled, sitting on her bed. "Have a seat."

Superman was hesitant, after all she was a teenaged girl with a figure more mature than it should be, but he eventually gave in when Kali pat part of her bed beside her.

"So what advice are you looking for, specifically?" Kali inquired.

"Well, I'm wanting to know what makes him so… special to you, and how you're able to look past the fact, he was designed to kill and replace me." Superman said.

"Easy, because I knew that in his heart, he'd never go through with it." Kali smiled. "Even if the Genomorphs tried to force him, he'd fight back and resist, because even though he'd never met you once before our escape, he saw you as his family, instead of just source material for a clone."

"Guess that answers my second question." Superman said. "You know him best, what do you think would make he and I bond more?"

"You really wanna know?"

"That's why I asked."

"Well for starters, take him to see your parents Clark. I'm sure they're be thrilled to meet their second son." Kali smiled, getting to her feet and grabbing her bag, enjoying the look of shock on Superman's face. "Oh don't give me that look. You might have everyone else on the planet fooled with your glasses Mr. Kent, but I'm smarter then that. I'm a Saiyan, a smart one, unlike my dad. All I did was imagine your picture in the Daily Planet without glasses, and I figured it out, since I've had an up close look at your face several times now."

"Guess I shouldn't be surprised." Superman sighed.

"Don't worry, you're secret is safe with me." Kali smiled, before using Instant Transmission to leave.

"I guess I can trust her." Superman smiled, getting up, before Kali's door opened again.

"Superman? What are you doing in Kali's room?" Wally questioned.

"I just had a chat with her, needed some advice. Which begs the question, why are you here?" Superman asked.

"I'm just looking for Kali, to give her a piece of my mind." Wally said. "The way she reacted to what I said, was no way for her to treat a handsome man like myself."

"An' how exactly did you plan on, relaying this piece of your mind to her?" Superman questioned.

"Uh… I, uh… Gotta run." Wally said, making a mad dash, only to realize he's running in place as Superman grabbed the back of his shirt.

"I think you and I need to have a little chat." Superman said.

It was then Wally knew, he fucked up.

~Earth Omega~

"So this is the mountain cabin mom, dad, and Goten live at? I've only ever seen where Gohan and Vegeta live." Kali said, walking to her dad's house.

"That was delicious mom, thanks. I'm going to Trunks house now, okay?" Goten's voice echoed from the house, before the door opened and he ran out, bumping into her. "Oh? Kali." He smiled hugging her. "Mom, Dad, Kali's here to visit."

"Oh, welcome home sweetie." Chichi said, smiling upon seeing Kali.

"Hey mom." Kali smiled, as Goten let go of the hug.

"I'm off to Trunk's house now, bye." Goten smiled, flying off.

"Come in, we just had lunch. I made plenty, so there's more than enough for you as well." Chichi smiled.

"Thanks mom." Kali smiled following Chichi through the house.

"Hey, there's my little warrior." Goku smiled. "What brings you by, more training?"

"Just a social visit this time dad." Kali said, as Chichi brought her some food.

"So, what's new? Anything interesting happen lately?" Chichi asked.

"Well… this grew back." Kali said, using her tail to pick up her glass of water.

"Wow, your tail is back? Guess it's a good thing we don't have a moon anymore." Goku said.

"Even if you did, it wouldn't cause a problem. I'm in control when I transform into a Great Ape." Kali said.

"So how'd you get your tail back?" Goku asked.

"Dad are you familiar with one of Batman's enemies, Bane?"

"I've fought him a couple times, he's super easy to take down even when…" Goku paused in eating and talking when he realized what she was getting at. "He didn't…"

"Did what?" Chichi asked. "Who's Bane?"

"Bane is a monstrous villain on Earth Alpha. He's a drug dealer, with a highly illegal and addictive steroid substance, called Venom." Goku said. "Kali, what happened?"

"During the mission last night to the Venom factory, we were to figure out why all shipments had suddenly stopped. We found out why, but I ended up being Bane's hostage." Kali said.

"A human was able to take a Saiyan hostage?" Chichi inquired.

"Well, more or less." Kali said, pulling some hair back to reveal the right side of her neck, where the venom had been injected at. "The team couldn't really do anything, without Bane injecting me with a full dose, of over fermented Venom. When I elbowed him to escape, I messed up, and got injected with it."

"I knew it." Goku sighed. "So you being on Earth Omega, is more than just a social call I take it?"

"The Venom already wore off but… I'm already wanting more of it." Kali said.

"That's why you're here, to get away from the source of the substance." Chichi said getting up and pulling Kali in for a hug. "Oh, poor baby girl. You came straight to your family because you needed help."

"Chichi, I'm taking Kali to Bulma's. Maybe she can help somehow." Goku said.

"Right." Chichi said.

"Come on Kali, let's go." Goku said, not even finishing his lunch.

"R-right." Kali said, scarfing down the rest of her food and following. "Lunch was delicious, thanks mom."

~Satan Square~

"Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to this extraordinary event. Whether you traveled here to Satan Square, or you're tuning in from around the world, you all experienced the mysterious phenomenon that literally shook the globe. Now the truth about that mystery is about to be revealed!" The Hostess of the news broadcast said, before the sound of a car honking was heard as a limo pulled up. "He's here, folks! Our fearless hero, the world champion himself, Mr. Satan, has arrived!"

The doors to the car opened and out stepped Mr. Satan, with pride and wearing a new red cape, making the crowd cheer at his arrival. Passing through the crowd, Satan and his entourage, made their way to the stage with the statue of his fearless expression, behind it.

~Deep Space~

"Earth arrival in 13 minutes, sir." One of the space crafts operators said.

"An' you're sure about your intelligence gathering? The Arch-Enemy isn't there?" The captain said.

"Affirmative." The pilot said, as an image of a poodle popped up. "The, Cursed Ones, They-who-will-not-be-named, the Nemeses whose brainpower rivals our own, have not been seen."

"Perfect." The captain said, rolling the r, a bit in his statement.

~Earth Omega~

"Mr. Satan! Mr. Satan!" The crowd gathered, continued to cheer as their 'champion' made his way on the stage with all lights on him.

"Yeah." He cheered, causing the crowd to go wild. "Thank you."

"Welcome Mr. Satan. Thank you for coming, even though you must be exhausted after your last huge battle." The hostess said coming up to him with the mic. "Why don't we jump right to the point and talk about the strange phenomenon that shook the world. I'm told you were in the thick of it!"

"It was the work, of the Great Destroyer!" Mr. Satan said, grabbing the mic.

"What? The Great Destroyer?"

"An' what does that mean?" One of the men in the crowd asked.

"So what is that exactly, like a weapon or a ship, or a criminal mastermind?" The hostess questioned.

"No, it was way worse then that." Satan said. "I'm talking about a diabolical deity coming down from the blackness of space; a god feared throughout the cosmos."

Off in the distance behind the crowd, Kali was standing next to Goku, with an ice cream he'd gotten her.

"Dad, why is the bozo taking all the credit again?" Kali asked, licking her ice cream.

"I know it might not seem fair, but it's for the best. We don't want people to know that there are aliens living among them that could destroy the earth on a whim, so he's the face of all the victories against the villains like Cell, Kid Buu, and even Lord Beerus." Goku explained.

"I would at least like to get acknowledged for my efforts on it. Otherwise I might as well still be labeled a weapon." Kali said.

Goku looked to Kali, before back up at the stage, and made up his mind about something.

"Wait right here okay?" Goku asked.

Before Kali could respond, Goku went to the side of the stage, and tapped his secretary's back, getting her attention.

"Oh it's you, the farm guy. Why are you dressed in a Gi?"

"I'm a martial artist." Goku said. "Sorry, but I need a tiny talk with Mr. Satan real quick."

"He's a bit busy right now."

"Please? It's about my daughter, she helped in the recent big battle." Goku said.

"Alright, I'll give you a couple minutes." She said, getting up from her seat, and heading to Mr. Satan.

"Devastator of countless planets, the Destroyer God known as…"

"Excuse me Mr. Satan." The secretary said. "That farmer wants to talk to you for a minute."

"Hmm?" Satan looked behind her and saw Goku. "Oh, that's my son-in-laws old man. Give me a sec everyone." He said, before heading to the side of the stage, and hopping down to talk with Goku. "Uh, what's up Goku?"

"Listen, I hate to rain on your parade, but do you think you could share some of the credit with Kali? She's in the crowd and she's feeling like she's nothing but a weapon, because you got all the glory."

"Oh really? I am so sorry about that Goku, I'd never want anyone to feel that way, especially her, let me make it up to her." Satan said.

"Thanks pal, but try to keep quiet about her being a Saiyan, or a natural born deity." Goku smiled.

"Mums the word." Satan smiled, before hopping back up on stage. "Sorry about that Ladies and Gentlemen, but I cannot hide this any longer."

"Dad, what's he doing now?" Kali questioned as Goku came back to her side.

"He's putting on a show, and making it look like you were the one who wanted to keep your involvement a secret." Goku smiled.

"She wanted me to keep her involvement in the fight a secret, but I cannot accept all the praise myself. It would not be right, to not give this warrior, what she is owed." Satan said. "An' she is here in the crowd today. Please help me welcome, the one who fought the hardest in the battle, second to me of course, Kali."

Pointing directly at her, Kali was stunned silent as the people turned to look at her.

"Uh… hi everyone." Kali said.

"Come on down Kali, and get on up here." Satan said.

"Dad, I don't think this is what Bulma meant when she said to spend some time bonding with me." Kali whispered to her.

"You'll be fine, just relax and get up there." Goku said, patting her back.

"Well, don't be shy."

Kali just sighed as she went up to the stage, the crowd parting for her as she walked through them, and hopped up to stand next to Satan.

"Now, why don't you tell them what happened in the fight?" Satan said, handing her the mic.

'Handing it off for me to fill in the details huh? No matter, I have a story in mind.' Kali thought "Well… Mr. Satan and I ran into each other, as we were both tracking down the same crime syndicate, trafficking illegal drugs. But what we weren't prepared for, was the Destroyer God himself, Lord Bane, to be there in person, personally handling everything on their cruise ship, in the south sea. We tried to keep our cover, and disguised ourselves as part of his evil crew, but we were found out. Mr. Satan went to break up the Crime Ring, while I fought off the Destroyer God. But in the middle of the battle, Bane cursed me, and got away."

"He won't be coming back though, because he knows earth is defended by the Mighty Hercule Satan, and Kali." Satan said as Kali looked up into the sky.

"Uh, we might wanna clear the area." Kali said, pointing upwards. "An alien craft is coming down towards us."

The crowd began to clear, and gathered behind the stage, as the ship came flying down towards them, before it landed on the ground in front of the stage. The bottom part of the ship opened up, before it descended with a pillar of light connected to it, before the silhouette of its pilot became visible.

"It's an alien. An alien has just beamed down." The Hostess cried out.

"A real live alien?"

"Did it come here for revenge?"

"It can't be." Satan said.

"I can handle this. Their power feels kinda weak, so if they want to fight, then it shouldn't be too much of a problem, unless they're hiding their real strength." Kali said, before the alien came out, revealing his cat like appearance, shocking everyone there. "Is he from the same species as Beerus?"

"We are ready to receive you now, Ambassador!" The alien pilot said as another alien came out, and he looked much more ferocious than the alien before him, causing those remaining on the stage, to hide behind Satan and Kali.

"Oh thanks you guys." Satan said sarcastically.

"After you." The first alien said.

"Thank you." He said stepping forward, while everyone else stepped back. "Huh?"

"Sorry about that sir." Kali said, stepping up to the edge of the stage, and towards the ambassador. "These people aren't actually used to seeing aliens or their space crafts."

"Ah, that's quite understandable." The Ambassador said.

"Earth people, there is no need to fear us." The first alien said. "This Gentleman is an ambassador from our fare Planet Snack. We've learned there's a hero here, who's battled Lord Beerus to exhaustion, and we have come to pay our respects for this astounding feat, no mere mortal could accomplish."

"Uh… the people of Earth know him as Lord Bane." Kali whispered to him. "He really likes the food on this planet, so I made up a name they won't identify him with whenever he comes back."

"Ah, got ya." The Ambassador said.

"But if you're looking for that hero, you're looking right at her." Kali said holding out her hand. "Son Kali, it's nice to meet you."

"The pleasure it all mine Madame Hero." The Ambassador smiled shaking her hand. "The story of you saving your world from the feared destroyer, is spreading quickly across the universe."

"It was nothing, but there was more at stake then just the planet." Kali said. "Both the solar systems of Earth Alpha and Earth Omega were at stake. I just so happen to be from Earth Alpha, my dad resides here on Earth Omega and I'm just stopping by for a visit right now."

"I've brought you something." The Ambassador said, pulling out a box and opening it, revealing the medal inside. "In honor of your inspirational victory, my planet hereby presents you our most distinguished medal."

"Thank you, I am honored." Kali smiled, taking the box in hand.

"This is an incredible experience folks. The temporary partner of our Mighty Warrior, Mr. Satan, is hero of the entire universe, working in tandem with the Hero of Earth. What an incredible honor for us to witness this medal being bestowed upon her at this very…"

"Not so fast." A new voice said, stopping the hostess new woman.

Kali looked up towards the ship, and saw a much larger, and scarier looking Snackian dressed in a warriors armor.

"Who's this?" Kali questioned, not sounding impressed.

"Something wrong Galbee?" The first alien asked.

"In the custom of our warriors, I can't acknowledge her as a hero until we meet in the ring." Galbee said. "If this woman really bested the Destroyer, it should be easy for her to prove her strength."

"Uh…" Kali was speechless. 'At least he's not being an ego driven misogynist.'

"I must apologize, but it is our tradition." The Ambassador said.

"It's fine. I get it, tradition is tradition. No need to apologize." Kali waved it off.

"Galbee is the official hero of Planet Snack, so it would be a great honor if you would join him in combat." The Ambassador said. "Forgive me for asking, but it would mean a lot."

"I'm fine with it."

"Hold on."

The Snackians looked to who had spoken, and saw Goku stepping up to the plate.

"Dad, why are butting in now?" Kali questioned.

"You know this gentleman?" The Ambassador inquired.

"Yep, this here is my father, Son Goku."

"I just wanna make sure you understand what you're getting into Kali. You can't go using your full strength all willy nilly on this guy, he won't be able to handle it." Goku said.

"I know that dad." Kali said. "He just wants me to prove my strength, that's all."

"Alright, if you're sure. I'll referee this fight." Goku said. "An' even though my daughter is in this fight, I'm gonna be non-biased about it."

"Uh, hold on young miss, how old are you?" The Ambassador asked.

"I'm… sixteen." Kali said nervously.

"Well…" Galbee was stunned, but he couldn't back out now. "I already issued the challenge, so there's no backing out now."

"Great, would right here do? I don't wanna damage Mr. Satan's stage." Kali said.

"Sure, right here on the cobblestone is fine." Galbee said. "But to make this a fair fight…" He looked to the two other Snackians, and they nodded, before the smaller one went back to the ship.

With the smaller one gone, Galbee went to the stage, and moved it out of the way, before the ship began to fly high, and over the area, before the Snackian pilot began using the ship to build a battle ring. In almost no time at all, the ring was built and Kali was impressed with the craftsmanship.

"Is the battle arena up to your standards?" The Ambassador inquired.

"It wasn't needed, but it seems perfect." Kali smiled hopping up to stand on one side.

"Excellent, battle as hard as you like, don't even worry about damaging the ring." The Ambassador said.

"Alright, are both fighters ready?" Goku asked, as the two other Snackians stepped back, with Galbee taking a battle stance, and Kali doing some dynamic stretching. "Begin."

In an instant Galbee charged at Kali, as she was still stretching. As his approach neared, he pulled back his fist, and swung it at her, but missed as she bent backwards, and pivoted to the side, evading the strike.

"That was easy." Kali said. "To be honest I'm fine with a sparring match, but I'd rather not use violence to solve something unless absolutely needed. Guess that sorta makes me a pacifist huh?"

"Somewhat." Galbee smirked before he swung at her again. "But there's no way out of this match."

"Yeah I guess that's true." Kali smiled as his fist stopped short of her face, and the reason being, because of her tail grabbing his wrist. "But this is only a sparring match."

"A Saiyan?" The Ambassador questioned.

"Yep, she's a Saiyan, that's my girl." Goku cheered.

"I thought you were supposed to be impartial to this match?"

"I am, so far he's fairly tried to attack her twice, but was stopped short both times. I'm just proud of my little girl using what I taught her." Goku smiled.

"Time to dance." Kali said, jumping in the air, and as she pulled Galbee towards her with her tail, she thrust her legs out, hitting him in the chest, sending him flying back and over the edge of the ring. "Dance time is over."

"She took Galbee down in a single hit." The Ambassador said.

"Hey, you doing okay down there?" Kali asked, looking over the edge of the ring, to Galbee who was on his back, looking terrified as a dog stood over him. "Oh, looks like you've made a little friend."

"I hate dogs." Galbee cried out, hopping up and running to the ship.

After hearing what they said, the Ambassador and his compatriot ran to the ship, giving off a weird salute, before they hopped right into their ship and took off.

"Oh come on, Bee's harmless." Satan said scratching his dog's head.

"Mr. Satan, they're a feline species, so I guess it's only natural they'd be terrified." Kali said. "At least I still got the medal." She shrugged, holding up the box with the medal inside.

"So, now that we've stopped by for this, wanna get some ice cream again?" Goku asked.

"Actually dad, I need to head back to the team." Kali said.

"What? But you just got here."

"I know, but I realized something. I left because I was scared I'd fall into temptation for Venom, but I'm also scared because I was voted to being Team Leader, and I needed to clear my head about it." Kali explained. "But seeing how honored the Snackians felt when I stepped up as the hero who beat Lord Beerus, it struck something in my mind. So as soon as I go back, I'm gonna accept the position of Leader."

"I'm glad to hear you've made up your mind about this. But at least stay for a couple more days, it's been kinda boring without you here." Goku smiled.

"Well… I guess a few days wouldn't hurt." Kali smiled. "Why don't we go for bubble tea instead of ice cream. I could go for a strawberry banana smoothie with green apple jellies."

"You got it." Goku smiled.

"Get as many as you like on me." Satan said, handing them a few bills. "Consider it a thank you for being the one to take that fight instead of me." He whispered that part.

"We'll take you up on that." Kali chuckled.

~A/N~

Just wanna clear some stuff up in the last chapter.

If anyone has seen Young Justice, which I'm guessing is all of you, then you know Wally doesn't act very, respectful towards women in the first season, like he's all high and mighty, while trying to flirt with them.

So I just played that to my advantage, and used it how I saw fit. An' I know he's not an actual sexist, but I figured he'd need to learn more respect for women somehow, than in between episodes and seasons.
