Hey everyone! Got another filler here for you guys today. I decided to shorten the length of time to bring out the fillers so you guys can get what you really want! I am surprised no one mentioned Grandpa Gohan and Goku's reunion in the previous chapter, even if it was only a short segment of it. I wanted to say the response to this story has been pretty good, albeit infrequent. That's ok! Those who get to see this story unfold will be a private handful, and that's ok (thumbs up!) Anyway, favorites, follows and reviews are always welcome. Constructive criticism is welcome as well. I don't want to be the guy that just completely writes what he wants to write and not have any input of any kind at all. Thanks to a review or two, the story has already had minor changes made to it. So don't think I don't read your reviews. Everyone is read and processed :-).

Everyone is pushing themselves to heights that were thought unreachable! However, an incredibly fierce battle, well overdue, is about to happen. What will happen when a young mother confronts her son's supposed kidnapper? Find out on Dragon Ball: BtG

Review(s):

Drunken Hamster:I probably should have placed Chi Chi a bit higher, but you also have to remember that she started her training late, and with the hiccup of the newly constructed KKGR1, she's been training under a different way, which means practice practice practice. But don't worry! She is catching up quickly, and will be a viable fighter when Vegeta and Nappa get here. I have seen the MasakoX series with Raditz. And I did enjoy it. Certain parts of it anyway ;). Now, rather or not I have Launch as his quintessential bride to be, remains to be seen. I don't even know if I'm going to keep Raditz on Earth lol. I may make him become what a saiyan was always meant to be: planet hopping to find great opponents to test his limits, buuuuut we'll see. I didn't like the combative edge that Vegeta had in that au with MasakoX. I want Vegeta to grow, mentally as well as spiritually. So I'm going to do my best to curb that hate out of Vegeta. So it probably won't turn quite out like MasakoX did, but I am shooting for better. There's also another question I want to ask you. How would you feel about another character being brought into the story, who's already in the story, but will be utilized in a far different way? Be on the lookout my friend! Thanks for your review :-)!

"TIMES 6!" Two roars were heard, the two combatants each striking with lightning fast punches and kicks. A wide kick across the side of one of them sent them wildly away.

"YAHHHHH!" Charging back, the two locked up again. The bigger man twisted the other guy sideways, sending a knee into his exposed gut.

"That looked like it hurt." Yamcha said, on the ground observing the fight above.

"Yeah but don't count Shep out yet. I can't wait to fight next." Goku was fidgety, waiting to fight the winner of Shepard and Raditz. The two had gotten over many of their problems on Earth, settling into a rivalry. Their power levels had increased drastically. Even Yamcha was approaching the strength Goku had when he left King Kai's world in the show. Their extended time here had granted all 4 warriors mastery over 10x gravity. Their weighted clothing still held some of their strength away.

King Kai looked on at his students. He could see that Goku was definitely ready for his ultimate technique. The young man had mastered using Kaioken X7, being able to hold it for more then 5 minutes at a time, the strain on his body steadily going away with each attempt.

"Hey Goku, I may have something you can try. My ultimate technique!"

"Y-you mean it King Kai? That sounds awesome! What is it?" Goku sped over to King Kai, barely hearing the clashes from above anymore. The deity couldn't help but laugh at Goku's enthusiasm. After his Grandpa Gohan had came and sparred with them all and left, Goku had taken to his training with a rarely seen vigor. His grandfather had lit a fire under Goku, making the young saiyan strive to get stronger then ever before. Shepard, Yamcha and Raditz had also taken to their training, even more motivated as well for various reasons.

Seeing a human become that strong was a sight to behold for Yamcha. It made him hungrier then ever to get stronger. A few years ago, he could have never imagined having this kind of drive to grow in power. But since his run in with the older version of the guy he now considered a rival, it made Yamcha redouble his efforts. The gravity training had did wonders for the young man, pushing him to heights he had before scarcely dreamed of, but he wasn't done yet.

Raditz had felt humiliated for losing to the human who had raised his little brother. The knowledge of there being stronger warriors then him from weaker known species was madness! But he had seen he still had much room to grow after that encounter, and had taken to his Kaioken training with intensity.

Shepard had started really letting go and going all out in his training after his fight with Grandpa Gohan. He had brought up the idea of using a certain technique to King Kai, who was hesitant at first. But after a few weeks of back and forth, the two finally agreed that it was worth trying.

"Alright Goku, this technique I have to teach you is my ultimate technique. I believe you and Shepard will be very capable of pulling this off. You're going to have to increase your Ki sensing abilities first, but I believe you have enough time to properly learn it."

"Sounds good King Kai. Where do we begin?" Goku asked. King Kai pointed on the ground, which the Desert Bandit had been sitting down at for the better part of 12 hours, deep in meditation.

"Now Goku, I want you to meditate. Feel the people on this planet, but dig deeper. Feel every blade of grass, every leaf. Every branch in this very tree over here."

Sitting down, Goku closed his eyes, reaching out with his Ki. He could sense the fight above him, but the intensity of it didn't mess with his serenity. He could feel his friend, only feet from him, a maelstrom of energy waiting to be uncorked. It didn't deter him as he continued to reach further, feeling for the finite energy of the land around him.

"Anything that requires energy to live, requires energy to use. Every blade of grass requires the sunlight, the energy from that sunlight to grow. Trees need water and sunlight, turning them into energy sources. Feel for that very thing. Connect with them. Become in tune with the very nature that surrounds you." King Kai watched in fascination as his student's aura evened out, the calmness of the saiyan slightly surprising him.

'His dad sure couldn't pull this off hm hm hm hm hm.' King Kai walked over to the Desert Bandit, who had been having a few problems breaking past Kaioken Times 6 as of late. His aura had a red tint to it, his face slightly strained as he continued to increase his power, moving into a Kaioken Times 2. The strain became slightly more evident, but Yamcha was managing, if only slightly. His posture was beginning to sag towards the ground, his body beginning to cave under the pressure of the gravity, his weighted clothing, and the incredible strain he was putting on his body through meditation.

"Remember.. Each heartbeat... Breathe Yamcha. Nice and easy. You're doing a great job." King Kai whispered in the man's ear. The Bandit heard the voice, deepening his breath and letting it out slower. A crash from behind them made King Kai snap his head in the direction.

"SHEPAAAAAAAAAARD!"

"Yah! Haaaaaaaa!" A backhand slit through wind, cutting it amidst the 5x gravity that the woman was training under.

Chi Chi had been pushing herself hard the last month since getting a good feel of the gravity room she was training in. The material was incredibly dense! She had let loose a stray ki blast a few different times, hitting the walls of the room, which felt solid and didn't so much as crack.

"KAMEHAMEHAAAAA!" Firing the famous Turtle wave, it circled around the inside of the structure. Quickly putting up one hand, Chi Chi held her hand knife like, cutting through the blast horizontally. The gravity caught it from behind the woman, the explosion being contained within the Room expertly.

"Whew, that should do it." The mother said to herself, grabbing the purple dress, the undershirt provided to her by Bulma drenched through with sweat. She walked to the entrance, the door automatically opening and shutting off the extra gravity left behind.

At the end of the tunnel she walked through, a heavily pregnant Tights was waiting for her in a hover chair, waving at her with smiles.

"Hey there! How did it go?" Tights asked, throwing a towel at Chi Chi, which she caught gratefully.

"I think I've finally got 5x gravity down. And it feels damn good. I'm ready to go out there and get my baby." Chi Chi was still resolute in giving Piccolo his comeuppance. Her anger had slowly became steel determination, pushing herself beyond what she believed was even possible.

"Make sure to give Piccolo a good ass kicking from us." The door had opened, Bulma walking through with a pair of signature goggles on. She had finally started getting the right heat with the Ki Torch's down, able to start to carve out more effectively used pieces to properly structure the Kachi Katchin Gravity Room. She still considered it a prototype, but it was very much a solid prototype that she was proud to stamp her name on.

"Oh I plan on it Bulma. Thanks for helping me girls. I'm...I'm sorry about how standoffish I was with you in the beginning. You're not so bad." Chi Chi said, struggling to admit that she had enjoyed being around the Brief Sisters.

"Don't worry about that Chi Chi."

"Yeah you were a great help in getting that Gravity Room right."

"What Bulma is trying to say is that she enjoyed your company."

"Hey I meant that too."

"Suuure"

"Shut up Tights."

The argument between the sisters sparked a rare smile from the Ox Princess.

"Well I better get out there before it starts getting dark girls. I hope what I've told you about my pregnancy helps with yours Tights. I can't wait to see the new baby. You never did tell me by the way. Boy or Girl?" Chi Chi was snarky, packing her provisions, a few new, technically advanced books that were beyond what her son would read now, but would be great to have in the future. Bulma had no problem gifting them to the mother, knowing that Gohan seemed incredibly smart for his young age.

"Oh I don't know. With Shepard not here, I kind of wanted to not know without him. He or she sure is strong though! Some of these kicks have been a little painful. But I've been doing a lot of what you've suggested. I'm a walking whale now! So I know it's probably gonna be a big baby!" Tights laughed, rubbing her swollen stomach. She was due any day. Chi Chi wanted to stay, but her need to see Gohan was overriding the need to see the birth of her friend's baby.

"It makes me not feel so bad about finding love these days. Hell Tights you're in your 40's now."

"No shit Bulma. Thanks for pointing that out. Like I was granted all the beautiful Brief genes." Tights playfully punched her sister in the shoulder as they watched Chi Chi float into the sky, taking off in a white aura and disappearing fast.

"What do ya say we start getting that room ready for the boys? They should be done with their training soon." Tights pointed out.

"Sure thing sis. Let's go!"

'The grass, the trees, the animals all over. This meditation thing is so cool. I want to create a move like Daddy. That dragon head thing was amazing.'

Gohan was floating 2 inches off of the ground, his meditation making for a serene state that most 5 year old boys couldn't stomach. But the boy had adapted, had gotten used to it. His teacher had been more then accommodating as far as his studies went, and he had made incredible strides with his training. He could more then handle his Uncle now, and with Piccolo in his corner, he couldn't fail!

"Keep your focus boy. Too much outwardly attention can break your concentration. Once you have this form of meditation down, you won't need to worry about distractions." The namekian stood behind the small, floating boy, keeping close watch of Gohan's form. Together, the two had become incredibly strong. There was no doubt in his mind that they could take the potentially weaker saiyan coming to Earth. The stronger one was the one that still irked the Namekian. He had been receiving small hints, possible scenarios where he could very well die in the coming conflict. Some in the form of dreams, others carried a premonitory feeling. He and Kami had both discussed the likely possibility that it was going to be their time coming soon. They had no way of helping to fix the dragon balls should something happen. It was a big gamble, one that Piccolo didn't want to go in as the underdog for. They needed to even the odds somehow. Leaving behind some sort of legacy in his rivals son was the best that he could manage.

He had been looking out at the late afternoon sky, his pupil still in meditation, which Piccolo knew was coming to an end shortly. He could sense a growing power heading towards them. He was concerned, but not for the reasons one would think. He knew he was in for a fight with the mother months ago, feeling her growing power in the distant west. Looking back, he saw his pupil float down to the ground, eyes snapping open.

"Mommy? M-mister Piccolo-"

"Yes, it's her. I want you to listen very closely to me Gohan. Your mother wants what is best for you. I won't deny that, and it's likely she will be taking you from our training that we've gone through. I want you to know, no matter what, I am proud of what we accomplished here. You still have a long way to go, but you're more then capable of defending yourself. Now, whatever happens between your mother and myself, do not interfere."

"But Mister-"

"I mean it Gohan. Your mother has trained extremely hard to get where she is. And I've made it a point to keep you on your studies. Do. Not. Interfere. I will do what I can not to hurt her, for your sake. You have my word."

The boy didn't want to see his mother and teacher fight. At least not seriously, but the way the namekian was talking, it was likely to happen.

"Ok Mister Piccolo, I'll stay out of the way." Gohan said, wishing he didn't say anything.

"Good. I have enjoyed our time together. You've been the only person to ever see me as more then a giant, green...thing. To see me as a friend. I appreciate that kid."

Their conversation was interrupted when Chi Chi made it to their battleground/campsite, landing gracefully.

"GOHAN!"

"MOMMY!" The boy ran to his mother, who in turn was running to her son, holding her arms out. She had been waiting for this!

Gohan pounced on Chi Chi. She caught the boy, swinging him around and giving him a huge hug, kissing him constantly on his cheeks.

"I've missed you so so much Gohan. I'm so glad I found you."

"I missed you too Mommy. Mister Piccolo has been taking care of me."

"Has he now?" Chi Chi said, hiding her anger behind forced calm.

Piccolo looked on with feigned disinterest, listening to the boy tout his name as if he was a good being. He could careless what either of them thought!

"So. You showed up. Guess you did have a spine after all." Piccolo goaded, smirking as he looked on at the reunion.

"Gohan, please move to the side, and stay out of this." Chi Chi said, releasing her son and standing to her full height. Compared to the giant namekian that stood across from her, her height was minimal. But she had trained incredibly hard for this moment. To take back her son, by force if she had to.

"M-Mo-Mommy wait-"

"You heard your mother kid. Move it."

"DON'T you talk to my son that way."

"O-Ok Mister Piccolo." The boy shied away reluctantly. There was clearly some very tense feelings in both of their energies.

"Wh-what? What the hell have you done to him Piccolo?" Chi Chi said, her calm starting fade away into a chilled anger.

"Put him out in the wilderness for 3 months, gave him a sword, some apples. Whipped him into proper shape for a couple months. Taught him how to meditate, to use his energy in different ways. Made him study his books every morning. Taught him discipline. Unlike you, who would rather cram him into his tiny little room and make him eat text books for breakfast."

As Piccolo listed off the many things that he had taught the boy, Chi Chi's face took on a very hateful look.

"I...am...his...MOTHER! I let you and Goku train him to...to learn how to use his energy properly. He is 5 years old, that is no-"

"Yeah? Well I'm 9! Do you see me complaining about my damn fate? Those saiyans will be here in 3 months, or less! And yet, you're here to argue with me over what? Training your son to help save your pathetic species?"

"HE'S 5! THAT DOESN'T GIVE YOU THE RIGHT!" Chi Chi screamed, her aura exploding from under her, throwing dirt and stone away. Piccolo was a bit surprised. If this was her full power, then he may actually have to skip the warm up!

"No. I TOOK it. What are you gonna do about it, woman?" Piccolo smirked, getting into his demon stance.

The way Piccolo had said woman to Chi Chi had left her reeling in her anger. She dropped into stance, her aura bristling with energy.

She made the first move, flying in low and fast. She threw a right knife edged hand, which Piccolo dodged backwards from. She followed voraciously, not giving the namekian room to maneuver. Before she could back him completely into an impossible situation, Piccolo jumped high, Chi Chi giving chase once again.

Gohan watched in awe of his mother. He had never seen her this strong, this fast. She was pushing his teacher, relentless in trying to put him down. The punches that were exchanged were block numbing for both, Piccolo surprised that the woman had attacked straight forward, where as Chi Chi redoubled her efforts.

"AHHHHH!" She slammed her fists hammer like into Piccolo's head, making first contact. He landed back on the ground, the blow hurting minimally. Chi Chi landed in front of him, breathing a little hard but still ready to go.

"Not bad Chi Chi. If you were this strong a year ago, Raditz would've been in a little trouble maybe." Piccolo said, smirking and getting under the woman's skin.

She rushed forward, sending her hand forward, which Piccolo caught this time, squeezing her hand a little and causing her to grimace, but before he could do anymore, the woman pulled herself forward, kneeing the namekian in the face and forcing him to let go. Turning and throwing a vicious kick, it connected with Piccolo's jaw, sending him away to the side, where he flipped over, slammed his feet into the ground and came back roaring. They were fighting across the mountain range, Piccolo putting Chi Chi on the extreme defensive. She ducked under a hard backhand, the force of it cratering through the boulder she was backed into. Back flipping away, Chi Chi put her hands together after sighting the namekian, who had only just now pulled his hand out of the boulder and got away from it.

"OX BEAM!" A rushing, white wave of energy blasted forward. It was something she had worked really hard in as she trained under heavier gravity. In much respect to her father, she named it after him. Piccolo saw the blast coming, smirking as he held his hands out. Catching the blast, it pushed him back a couple of inches, before he pushed it away to the side, an explosion not to far away not deterring him from looking the woman down with curiosity.

"So...you created a technique of your own much like that damn Hermit?"

Breathing a little heavy, Chi Chi was surprised that Piccolo had managed to hurl the blast away so effortlessly. "In respect to the Ox Kingdom, yes. I love where I came from, and I will fight for what is MINE!" Rushing Piccolo, she threw a wide kick, which he dodged backwards from, followed by a knife jab, pushing her hand forward in trying to catch the namekian. Piccolo moved away again, causing Chi Chi to try to chase him down. Jumping up onto a boulder, Piccolo was quickly followed, where Chi Chi tried to backhand him off of it. He grabbed her hand and threw her off forcefully. She sprung backwards, landing on her hand and pushing away. Piccolo came down, axe kicking and cratering the ground where the woman's body was a moment ago, her speed surprising the namekian slightly. He heard her before he seen her, but it was enough for him to put his hand up as he caught the kick that Chi Chi had thrown when she phased in front of him. Holding her there, Piccolo started laughing at her, watching her struggle to release herself. Throwing her other foot forward, Piccolo was forced to release her foot while dodging the other.

Piccolo snarled as he threw his hand up, blocking another attempted knife chop from the young mother. Chi Chi was using her footwork well, off balancing the namekian. She threw a feint chop and baited him, pushing both hands in his body and hitting him with a kiai, making Piccolo fly away uncontrollably for several seconds. He righted himself in the air, putting up a hand to block as the woman had followed him. Her fist collided with his palm, the clap from it echoing throughout the land.

"Will you stop this? This fight is getting us no where!" Piccolo said. He held the woman's soft, but strong and struggling hand with force, but Chi Chi didn't grimace.

"I w-will take my son back!" Chi Chi threw her other hand out, a yellow ball of energy in it, but Piccolo saw that coming, grabbing the energy ball from the woman as she threw it in his face. Throwing the ball away, he looked back at the woman in a new light.

"Cunning...you would've made a great practitioner of the demon style."

"Never!" Pulling her hand away from the grip finally, Chi Chi phased backwards. She was breathing quite a bit now. But she was also frustrated.

"Why aren't you fighting back?"

The question made Piccolo pause. Why wasn't he fighting back? He was not known for letting openings go so easily. He hadn't really pushed Chi Chi too hard! The occasional attack to probe her defenses, a flash of anger and a temptation to crush the woman beneath his foot crossed his mind. But he knew he couldn't. Chi Chi had proven her resolve was true. She had proven she would train to fight for her son. He had felt her growing power steadily over the months, wondering when, or even if she would make her move. Considering he had only watched her fight against Goku in the World Martial Arts Tournament and not since, he was very curious to see what she what capable of.

"You're not as strong as your son, let alone me. I have no reason to attack you with everything I have. I could, but then you know how the boy would react. I may have beaten the crybaby out of him, but he's still a crybaby for his Mommy."

"YAHHHHHHH!" Chi Chi screamed, enraged, her aura begin to take on a reddish tint.

"W-WHAT?" Piccolo yelled in questionable shock. Taking a quick look at Gohan, who was also in shock at seeing the familiar power spike from his mother.

"S-so this is where the boy gets it from!?"

He wasn't prepared for the punch to the face, the woman's scream not catching up to her speed in time for him to hear it...

Gohan was watching the fight from the sidelines. He had promised both his mother and teacher he wouldn't interfere. But once Chi Chi had ignited that red aura, the fight had changed immediately. Piccolo had to start fighting back harder, keeping the woman from damaging him to bad. It was the most he had seen his teacher work. His Mommy was amazing! For nearly an hour, the two had been fighting a back and forth battle, Gohan keeping up with it with his ki having been trained efficiently for months now. He didn't know who to root for. His mother had pushed Piccolo hard, nearly swiping his head off a numerous amount of times. The namekian had to forgo his promise to the boy, if only to stay ahead in the fight. Tonight however, the fight would take a drastic change...

"HAAAAH!" Backhanding Chi Chi away, Piccolo threw his hand out.

"EXPLOSIVE DEMON WAVE!" The yellow beam surged forth, exploding a short distance away. Piccolo kept his guard up, listening for the woman. She had pushed the namekian to his limit. He couldn't believe that this human woman was able to get this strong! He was tired. He knew she was as well. But he couldn't dwell any longer.

"Kamehamehaaaaaaa!" Piccolo saw the beam blow through the smoke, barely dodging in time. He dropped down to the ground, where Chi Chi was still in firing position, one eye closed, blood running down her lip. Her dress was in tatters in many places, her hair long since out of its bun. It flowed with the wind, down near her waist as she looked on in stunned silence. She was wobbly, and fell to a knee. Losing her stance, she felt her body giving up. Something had overcame her earlier when Piccolo had taunted her. She had grown beyond enraged and attacked him ferociously. The namekian had certainly not walked away without feeling her wrath, his uniform in tatters as well, the blood coming from his nose having regenerated earlier, the cuts on his arm from a previous vicious jabbing barrage.

Night had fallen over the duo as they had fought the battle of attrition. Piccolo however had just proven too strong. "You f-fought well Chi Chi, but I-it's over. You c-can have your son back. You proven that you-you're willing to get s-stronger to fight for him."

The woman breathed heavily, the fight all but nearly drained out of her. She stood, wobbly on her feet, but stood tall.

"I...I kn-know what you were tr-trying to do Piccolo. I-"

Before the woman could say anything further, both her and Piccolo looked over at Gohan, who was caught in a trance, his eyes taking on a red glint...

The fight looked to be over, from where the little boy could see. He was awed from watching the incredible battle. His Mother had made Piccolo fight harder then Gohan could! He knew he still had a long way to go, now inspired by his Mom's desire to fight for him. His teacher however had also fought just as hard, being pushed to use the limits of his power to keep ahead of the fight, if only slightly. As Gohan watched the Namekian descend from the sky, his eyes caught the moon, full and bright. He can't remember a time where he had seen it this full! Piccolo on those nights had instructed the boy to sleep inside the homemade shelter that he had built to protect himself. Even before, when his father was alive, he would usually be in bed pretty early on those nights. But tonight was different, tonight he had witnessed 2 incredible things, his Mommy fighting for him to come home, and the now beautiful Full Moon.

"I-it's so pretty." Was the last conscious thought he had...

"SHIT!"

"W-what's going on Piccolo?" Chi Chi said, in shock at her son's massive increase in power.

"D-d-damn it! I-if I still had energy!" Piccolo said, retreating quickly.

"HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!"

Chi Chi eyes widened, retreating back alongside Piccolo.

"Go...Go..Han? GOHAAAAAAAA-"

"Stop shouting! It's too late."

The boy had grown massively in the span of 30 seconds, brown fur ripping through his small uniform, a snout formed, elongating away from his face, where incredibly sharp canine teeth fully formed in his now massive mouth. His eyes fully red, the Oozaru beat his chest, picking up a massive boulder and hurling it away.

"HAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!"

The roaring continued, making Chi Chi terrified as they both looked on as the boy, now monster, continued to throw rocks easily bigger then his body.

"W-what is going on with my b-baby Piccolo?" Chi Chi was frantic, looking on as the boy smashed his hand through another boulder.

"It's his...it's his tail.. Dammit how could I let this happen?" Piccolo was mad at himself more then anything. He had done good in predicting when full moon's would occur, but he was so sidetracked this evening with sparring with Chi Chi that he simply lost track.

"AHHHHHHHHHHH!" the Oozaru smashed both his fists into another boulder, as he did so, he caught sight of 2 potentially yummy morsels.

"HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

"W-we need to go!" Piccolo all but dragged Chi Chi through the air, struggling as she tried to pull back towards her son.

"DAMMIT CHI CHI WE DON'T-!"

Piccolo couldn't say more, as he felt a massive amount of energy coalesce around Gohan's mouth.

"SHIIIIIT!"

"GoHAAAAAAAN!" Piccolo forcefully yanked the woman away as the mouth beam left the monster's mouth, missing the pair by mere feet. Whatever issues the two had with each other were put on immediate hold.

Evading a swipe from the Oozaru's paw, Piccolo let go of Chi Chi, who flew out of the way as the monster had his sights set on the namekian.

"GOHAAAAAN STOP!" Chi Chi flew up in her son's way, screaming for her son to cease, but the Oozaru looked at her, energy lighting his mouth. The distraction that Chi Chi caused enabled Piccolo to turn back, flying high and slamming the bottom of his feet into the top of Gohan's maw, slamming his mouth shut. The explosion was deafening, the Oozaru's head covered in a cloud of heated smoke. It must not have hurt Gohan much, because he brought his hand up, slamming it against where Piccolo was just at moments ago, knocking himself woozy as he hit himself in his own mouth.

It gave enough time for Piccolo to catch up to Chi Chi, who was shaken to her core. Her son had just tried to unknowingly kill her, and would have succeeded if not for the quick actions of the alien she had despised up until moments ago. She was forcefully grabbed by her hand once again, brought down to the ground behind a massive boulder, hidden for a moment away from the mad Great Ape.

"Piccolo let m-me go! I need to-"

"You need to shut up and listen!" Piccolo caught his breath for a moment, listening for any sign of trouble.

"Listen, Chi Chi, we can't reason with him as he is. He's far too powerful and...and frankly we can't beat him like he is now."

"Bu-but we have to do something."

"RAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWRRR!"

He was extremely close. The Great Ape's roar was only a few hundred feet away at most. Piccolo quickly reacted, pushing Chi Chi against the wall and clamping his hand over her mouth before she could scream out.

"Chi Chi? CHI CHI! Do not scream! I am speaking to you telepathically. Listen we only have one shot at getting out of this alive. Nod your head if you can hear me."

The woman's eyes had widened drastically, the clawed hand over her mouth enough to rip her head off if the alien so wanted to. But if this was in the interest of ending this now before it could continue, then she would do what was necessary, for Gohan. She slowly nodded her head...

"RAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWR!" another mouth beam was fired, obliterating the mountains in the distance. The monster was bulldozing his way through the clearing he was steadily creating. He had stopped looking for the 2 insects that dared to get in his way, not considering them a threat in the slightest. Backhanding another boulder out of his way, he roared again, beating his chest. Jumping on top of the cliff side of the nearest range, he fired another mouth beam into the sky.

"RAWWWWWWWWWWWWWR."

Seeing the moon, bright and full, he balanced himself on the top of the mountain cliff, beating his chest constantly.

"RAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWR."

As he finished roaring once again, a small being flew into the moon light...

"If this fails Piccolo, remind me to haunt you until you are a withering slug."

Chi Chi did not like this. But if there was any way to distract Gohan long enough for Piccolo to enact his plan, then they needed to both play their parts.

"Just follow the plan. It should work. He doesn't need a scared little woman trying to talk to him. He needs his Mother, and last time I checked, that's you. So let's get this over with. If it somehow fails, we go to plan B." Piccolo answered back in her mind. Chi Chi could swear she heard the snarl in the namekian's voice.

They came out from behind the boulder, seeing the Great Ape several hundred feet away, climbing the rock face to reach the height of the mountain top. She snuck to the front of it, seeing the full moon.

"I can't believe something so beautiful can create something so monstrous. Oh Gohan." Chi Chi was speaking to no one in particular. Another mouth beam soared in the sky, seeing it dissipate as it reached the atmosphere.

"RAWWWWWWWWWWWWWR!"

"Now or never Chi Chi. For Gohan." she swallowed her fear, dried her tears and quickly rustled her hair together in a makeshift bun. She took a deep breath, blowing it out as she heard her son roaring, and slowly floated up to the top of the mountain, where she saw the Great Ape beating on his chest.

"RAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWR."

"GOHAN!"

The Great Ape paused at the voice. It was small to the monster, but he could hear it. It sounded... vaguely familiar.

"STOP THIS NOW, OR SO HELP ME I WILL MAKE YOU STUDY FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE!" Chi Chi shouted, all fear in her voice gone. The Great Ape looked at her confusingly for several moments, his head moving towards the floating woman slightly.

"RAAAAAAAAAAWR!"

The Great Ape roared only feet away from her face, but she dared not show any fear.

"DON'T YOU ROAR AT ME MISTER! YOU STOP THIS AT ONCE. NOOOOOOOOOW!" She screamed at the Great Ape, pointing her finger at him, pouring as much of her motherly instinct into her words as she could, hoping to elicit something more than rage out of the Oozaru.

The Great Ape beat on his chest again, eyes not leaving the woman. He beat on his chest a few more times before opening his mouth wide.

Another mouth blast came out, the big pink blast flew over Chi Chi's head, missing her by quite a few feet, but nonetheless it made the hairs on the back of her neck stand up. But she stood strong, floating straight and looking at her son, ignoring the distant explosion behind her and hoping that it didn't hurt anybody.

"IF I HAVE TO COME UP THERE AND HIT YOU WITH THIS I WILL. STOP IT GOHAN!" Chi Chi pulled out her frying pan, which mysteriously appeared in her hand and she was waving it at the Oozaru, who turned his head sideways, looking at his mother again.

For several seconds, they stared at each other. Chi Chi had not put her pan away yet, holding it up as the Great Ape looked at her confusingly.

"MO..."

Chi Chi looked longingly at her son, hoping that he was finally coming around.

"MOM...MOM...MY?"

"YES! Yes Gohan it's your Mommy. You need to calm down. It's ok Baby. It'll be ok."

Before she could say more, the Great Ape snarled, all sense of Gohan breaking through gone just as quickly as it appeared.

"RAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWR!"

Reaching out, the Oozaru tried to grab the woman, who floated backwards fast enough to make him miss. Swiping at air, Gohan lost his balance, the monstrous body falling off the cliff side down to the ground. He landed on his feet however, energy gathering in his mouth.

"NOOOOOO! GOHAAAAN STOP!" Chi Chi yelled from the air.

"MASEEEEEENNNNKOOOOOOO!" a roar from several hundred feet away was heard, followed by a massive yellow blast flying quickly through the sky. Piccolo had gathered enough energy for the blast, but it was all he had. He watched as it flew through the atmosphere into space, colliding with the moon, which brightened considerably before it was blown into millions of pieces.

The explosion was immense, even from the ground of the Earth. It got the Great Ape's attention as he watched the very thing that made 'him' possible be taken out. The energy around his mouth dissipated, and the Great Ape began to shrink rapidly.

Chi Chi was momentarily flushed, realizing just how close she was to being hit with that mouth beam. She watched as the monster's hair soon disappeared, the elongated snout receded, becoming humanoid once again.

"Go...Gohan." Chi Chi got over her close brush with death, seeing her little boy once again. She flew down quickly, landing down next to her naked son, who was out cold, his skin hot to the touch. Holding her son's head in her hands, she cradled Gohan's as tears began to fall down her face.

"Oh Gohan..."

Piccolo had recovered enough of his energy to walk over, seeing the display. Externally he showed no emotion. Internally was a different story. He was relieved he was able to pull that off. The fight with Chi Chi had gone unexpectedly, and he was far from prepared to exert so much energy.

"We need to talk about this. That tail of his is too dangerous!" Piccolo pointed out. Chi Chi looked back slowly, tear streaked and on edge.

"Can it wait...just a few minutes Piccolo. It's HIS tail. And I will not have you pull it off just because you are scared of the implications." She turned back before he could reply, causing the Namekian to turn in a scoff.

"Piccolo? Are you alright?" It was rare that Kami would check in personally. As they were connected, he could already see through his counterpart's eyes, should he choose too.

"Yep. Nothing I couldn't deal with. Goodbye old man."

Piccolo cut the connection immediately. He didn't want to hear Kami criticize him about destroying the moon. Choosing to wait it out, Piccolo had his eyes closed, feeling the cooler breeze of the night. Reflecting on the day's event's, the namekian was proud of himself. He felt like he would come out of this much stronger, combined with his previous knowledge of what Gohan could become. He could meditate, utilize image training now that he had adequate fighting experience against a being significantly stronger then himself. He had surpassed Raditz a long time ago and the image training he had used had become obsolete. So as much as he was internally concerned for Gohan, Piccolo's warrior mentality couldn't ignore the possibilities.

Chi Chi had taken out her capsule, popping it and pulling out a blanket to wrap her son in. It wasn't particularly cold out, but when the wind would hit, it was a bit frigid. Picking him up, she carried her bundled up little boy to the makeshift campsite. She laid him down, making sure that he was in a comfortable position. Rubbing his now much longer hair, she smiled, looking down at her now peaceful son. She picked up a piece of the length of her dress, wiping off a little grime on Gohan's face.

Standing up after doing this for a few more minutes, Chi Chi stood up and stepped back, turning away from her son and walking to the stoic namekian meditating a short distance away. As she approached, Piccolo stood up, turning and looking at her, sternly.

"Have you had your Mommy time with the boy?"

"Shut it Piccolo. Now what did you want to talk about?" Chi Chi was in no mood for Piccolo's taunts.

"Are we going to tell Gohan what happened here or not?" Piccolo got straight to the point. He would go with whatever decision the woman wanted, even if he didn't like it. Chi Chi looked thoughtful for a few moments, before looking up at the namekian.

"There's something you're not telling me." Chi Chi was suspicious. And she had every right to be.

"So you're not just pushing all those books on the boy? Interesting... But yes. A month after I gathered the boy for our training. It happened. I escaped the battle alive for a few different reasons. 1. I still hadn't pushed his training so hard just yet, so he had no way of flexing his power that much. 2. I had done nothing BUT train for the whole time. So our power was much closer then it was tonight. And 3. It was very late when it happened. The moon was only up for the better part of 20 minutes before it was gone. Destroying the moon was the best bet we had tonight for survival."

Chi Chi absorbed the information. She was slightly peeved that she couldn't sense when her son had transformed. But it was quite far away and she had only a basic idea of where to go. Her Ki sensing still needed improvement.

"What happened after?" She asked, trying to gain as much information as possible.

"He shrunk, much like he did a few minutes ago. He was out for quite a few hours, but he woke later on, wondering how he got in his shelter." The namekian answered impatiently, wondering where the woman was going with this.

"Ok. So we have time then to talk about what to do."

"Now we're getting somewhere. We either tell him the full truth when he wakes up, or...we tell him nothing. But there's a problem woman. I've been getting this feeling that these saiyans that are coming are going to be far more craftier then we might think. We got lucky with Gohan tonight. What if these saiyans can somehow...I dunno... find a way to create another moon somehow? Or can find a way to transform into that monkey form without the moon? What if they have control over that form? Gohan is a child with no training whatsoever in that transformation. What if these saiyans do have control? I'm pretty sure we can handle the weaker saiyan. But from what I've heard through Kami's infinite wisdom, it's the other saiyan I'm worried about. That transformation made Gohan at least 10 times stronger then normal. What if that saiyan transforms into that? We need to find a way to get stronger. As soon as possible."

That was the most Chi Chi had ever heard the namekian speak. Even when training Gohan or sparring with Goku, he never said much. He would often eat his fish, drink his water, and then would leave, only to come back a few weeks later and do it all over again.

"Well. I just so happen to have a way to do that Piccolo. Bulma thinks the other guys are going to be done with their training on the Lookout soon. Maybe when we sense them leaving, we gather them up and all go to Capsule Corp. I wouldn't have gotten this strong without Bulma and Tights help." Chi Chi explained, piquing the namekian's interest.

"Sooo... the blue headed buffoon actually came through with her little gravity chamber thing after all. Fine. I'll agree to this. But you still haven't answered my question. What are we going to tell the boy when he wakes?"

Chi Chi did think about this. She didn't want to traumatize her son. She did survive tonight. Terrified, but she did. She knew she would be stronger for it in the long run. But she also knew that she didn't want her son to always ask her questions about tonight. She wanted to tell him. But she was conflicted. A few moments later, after thinking really hard, she looked at Piccolo, ready to give her answer...

"TIMES 6!" the roar catapulted the figure forward, slamming into the other's stomach, making him crater the otherworldly ground.

"Grrrrrr... TIMES 4!" The other screamed, flying upwards into a serious clash.

Yamcha and Raditz had been fighting for the better part of an hour. After Shepard had crashed into King Kai's car, the master forced the saiyan into hard calisthenics, making Shepard walk with Katchin weights on every limb, for nearly 3 days straight.

"C-C-COME ON KING KAI! I PROMISED I WOULD FIX IT!" The saiyan screamed from a distance away, having covered his 100th lap around the planet.

"Yeah well my car is in pieces right now. You still have 2 more days. YOU'RE NOT DONE YET!" King Kai screamed out. Shepard grimaced, deciding that continuing this long trek was better then facing his teacher's wrath.

King Kai was done dealing with Shepard for now. Satisfied that the spar between Yamcha and Raditz was remaining civil enough, he walked over to his last pupil. Goku had his hands in the air, eyes closed, feeling out the energy around him. King Kai himself had never seen his technique put to full practice, so seeing the minuscule balls of energy floating towards Goku was a sight to see. He watched for a few more moments, noticing the balls of energy connecting with each other.

"That's it. Keep going." King Kai said to himself. Summoning a small block of Katchin, King Kai couldn't help but smirk.

"Alright Goku, are ya ready?" King Kai asked the still motionless saiyan.

"Al-almost...there." Goku was concentrating extremely hard on every small piece of energy he had collected, noticing the beautiful shining blue color of the life energy ball.

"Here goes!" King Kai threw the block with his mind high in the sky. Goku concentrated on the now fully formed Spirit Bomb, no bigger then a softball. Pulling his concentration, he noticed the Katchin block high in the air.

"NOW!" Goku hurled the bomb away, watching it soar through the sky towards his target. Everyone stopped what they were doing, watching the shining ball of energy sail away. Unfortunately, the ball missed its target by only mere inches. The block fell back to the ground unharmed, but the explosion that followed when the Spirit Bomb detonated was massive, turning the pink sky a beautiful azure for several moments.

"D-Darn it! Not good enough!" Goku snapped his fingers, putting his hand on his chin and wondering what went wrong, a thoughtful but frustrated look on his face.

"That's not bad for a first attempt Goku. You have to understand you won't always have time to gather the necessary energy to use that technique. It is why it should only be used as a last resort. The best way to learn this technique is under pressure." King Kai explained. Goku's frustration went away. He realized he had the technique down, it was just a timing problem now.

"Think I can try again King Kai?" Goku had never used a technique like it before, and was interested in trying again as soon as possible.

"I recommend waiting a day or two. If you had your living body, you would have taxed it already. Rest your body for a short while and we will begin again."

"Right. Thanks King Kai." Goku went to rest, sitting in the grass and taking deep, well deserved breaths.

THUNK

A loud sounding metallic bang echoed across the small planet, causing King Kai to turn his head in that direction.

"Shepard, you're not done yet!"

"SUE ME OKAY! I need a couple minutes." Sitting down and denting the planet as he did, Shepard was drenched in sweat. 102 laps. He was done for a short while. The loud bangs in the distance indicating Yamcha's and Raditz's clash, Shepard looked up, watching the two battle. Yamcha was using a higher form of Kaioken, and it was giving him a slight advantage over the Saiyan. Raditz sailed through the sky, claw marks on his arnor.

"Grrrr. Enough of this! Double Sunday!" Raditz fired the twin beams of energy, watching as his human adversary turned his body, dodging both beams as he did. They sailed past the Bandit, who blitzed forward, kneeing Raditz in the face and stunning him. Pulling him back by his leg, Yamcha began to swing the saiyan, his long hair flailing out behind him. At a pinnacle of speed that was ideal, Yamcha let Raditz go, watching as he plummeted into the ground, spider web cracking the area around his fall.

"Blasted...human!" Raditz pulled himself out of the crater, watching as Yamcha held up a hand a charged a yellow ball of energy.

"SPIRIT BALL!" Yamcha threw it down, making the saiyan hit it away initially before realizing it was going to come back. Raditz moved his head back, only a moment before the yellow ball whizzed by. He charged his own energy blast, firing and destroying the spirit ball.

"You're going to have to do better then that human." Raditz smirked, looking at Yamcha, who smirked in return.

"Try batting this one away Hedgie." Yamcha held his hand out, creating another Spirit Ball, but instead of the normal effortless process, he gritted his teeth, concentrating hard. The yellow ball seemed to lose it's shine. Raditz was curious. He was expecting another fruitless effort from the now heaving human in the sky, but he was standing still, not bothering to move. His confidence in his power had increased exponentially since beginning this training.

"Ugggghhhhhh...Ahhhhh...AHHHHHHH! CATCH!" The ball moved slower then the normal spirit ball, making Raditz grunt in disapproval. Holding his hand out, the Saiyan attempted to catch it.

"AHHH!" Yamcha pushed both his hands forward, making the energy ball push Raditz back, his boots leaving skid marks behind as he couldn't gain his footing.

"AGH! WHAT IS THIS?" Yamcha then threw both hands up, forcing the ball to instantly come up, carrying Raditz with it. Blitzing forward, crimson aura bearing down on the human, the Bandit went to slam both hands into Raditz's back, but the saiyan turned just in the knick of time, getting himself off of the Super Spirit Ball just in time, watching as it flew back into Yamcha's now outreached hand. The Bandit, having adjusted the grip on his energy ball, threw it yet again at Raditz, who flew down to the surface quickly. As soon as he touched the ground, Raditz blitzed away, just before the Super Spirit Ball collided with the ground and kept going through, coming out of the other side of the planet. Raditz sensed the ball was still active.

"Damn that blasted technique." Holding his hand high, he formed a big pink energy blast.

"SATURDAY CRUSH!" Firing his signature technique at the Super Spirit Ball, Raditz had just enough time to watch the blasts collide, throwing his hands up to guard himself as a massive explosion of yellowish pink erupted. Putting his guard down slightly, he saw a figure falling through the haze. Yamcha was spent, having combined his concentration of using the Kaioken at a X6 along with creating his more powerful version of the Spirit Ball, the Kaioken forcefully left him. He landed on the ground, knees giving out on him. Breathing heavily, Yamcha opened his eyes at the sound of Raditz touching down.

"You humans...are crafty. Are there others like you on that damn planet?" Raditz asked. Yamcha sat down on his butt, arms splayed out as he continued breathing deeply, strain still rushing through his body.

"Whoo...whooo...yeah a couple others...I'm sure... I'm sure they're training for those saiyans you said were coming." Yamcha answered.

CLANK CLANK CLANK CLANK CLANK CLANK CLANK CLANK CLANK CLANK CLANK CLANK CLANK

They both heard the heavy sounding footsteps. Shepard ran across at a rapid pace, barely able to lift his feet as he did.

"That was a good fight g-!" THUNK

Yamcha and Raditz shared a look, before the saiyan bursted out laughing, the human following up moments later.

"Owww!!" Shepard held his face, clearly pissed that even after so many laps with these blocks on his feet, they were still heavier then they should've been. Unless...

"KING KAIIIIIIIIIIII!" Shepard yelled in the direction of their teacher, who was tending to his garden. King Kai continued to water his plants, whistling as he did so.

CLANK CLANK CLANK CLANK CLANK CLANK

Shepard had gotten up as quick as he could, clunking his way to the teacher.

"King Kai."

...

"KING KAI!"

"AGH! WHAT? DON'T SCARE ME LIKE THAT!" King Kai yelled up at the taller saiyan, easily reaching near 7 feet tall with the Katchin blocks on his feet.

"How could you not hear me yelling behind you? Did you increase my weights?"

"Maybe I did. Hmph. And I was speaking with Westy."

"West Kai? The one who trained Pikkon?" Shepard was sure he was correct.

"Indeed. The very one. Pikkon has been unstoppable the last couple of hundred years. But my trump cards should be good and ready for this one." King Kai, being ever greedy, rubbed his hands together, as if plotting an insane plan of sorts.

"Well, sir I really need you to let me out of these please."

"Hmph."

"I'll start telling jokes." Shepard really needed to talk to the master.

"Hmmmmm well this better be good. You still owe me 2 days of laps."

"I'll help you fix the car. Come on."

...

"My friends bakery burnt down yesterday. Now his business is toast."

"Hm hm...Hmph."

"Hmmmm...When a deaf person sees someone yawn do they think it's a scream?"

"Hm hm hm hm hm hm hm hm hm."

"Today a man knocked on my door and asked for a small donation towards the local swimming pool, so I gave him a glass of water."

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Ok ok." With a wave of his hand, the Katchin blocks disappeared with a POP, easing the stresses on Shepard's body greatly. He let out a big stretch, hearing a bone or two pop.

"Woooooooooow... that feels so much better. Thanks King Kai. Look there was a couple things I wanted to talk about with you."

"If you're referring to the saiyans, you still got around 3 months left."

"Yeah yeah about that. I need you to let me know when they're about 3 days out. And I need to start working on that." Shepard was vague, but it got the point across. King Kai put a hand on his chin, a small smirk on his face as he looked the young Rogue up an down.

"Then I guess it's time to get started."

SLING

SLING SLING

"Grrr.AHHHHHHH!" Using his sword, Gohan attacked his teacher, putting Piccolo on the heavy defensive. Backing away and lifting his sword, it begin to emit a yellow aura, before Gohan slashed out with it, sending an incredibly sharp blade of Ki towards the namekian. Twisting away, Piccolo grimaced as he lost another part of his cape. Gohan swung twice more, sending 2 more Ki blades towards Piccolo. It made him make a choice. Turning and facing down, the 1st passed him narrowly, but the 2nd found its mark, nicking Piccolo's side, causing blood to seep out.

"AUCK!" Spitting out a bit of blood, Piccolo watched as Gohan sliced again, another sharp blade of Ki heading towards him. The namekian dodged to the side. "HAAAAHHH!" Gohan had used his speed, getting behind Piccolo and swinging his sword. The namekian was saved by his hearing, having dodged just enough to get away, albeit losing another piece of his cape.

Extending his hand, he punched the sword out of Gohan's hand, before speeding in and slamming a fist into Gohan's face, causing the boy to be sent spiraling away and colliding into a small boulder. The boy recovered quickly, getting up and speeding back towards the namekian. They were phasing in and out between the mountain ranges, punches and kicks exchanged by the many dozens before Piccolo caught his pupil with a kick to the stomach, sending Gohan back through the air but not to far. Gohan rushed back in, trying to hammer Piccolo down, but he moved to the side, backhanding Gohan away.

"You need to strategize! Stop coming in straight forward. Use your brain." Piccolo chided.

Watching only a short distance away, Chi Chi admired her son's tenacity.

'He is so much like his father when he wants to be.' The woman couldn't help but think.

Piccolo and Chi Chi had decided not to tell Gohan about what had happened. When he was older. More mature? Perhaps. It was frightening for both, and the mutual survival of that night had erased much of the woman's anger towards the namekian. She decided for the time being that it would be best to keep Gohan to his normal routine. He had gotten through nearly a year's worth of material throughout the time he was away from home. For that, Chi Chi was begrudgingly thankful for Piccolo's duty and keeping his word. They had also made another pivotal decision. In keeping the boy's tail, which Chi Chi argued with Piccolo for nearly an hour about, the namekian was forced to agree. He had to look at the battle aspects of having a potential Great Ape on their side. And without the moon around, Gohan wouldn't forcibly transform, so it was just better to not fight the woman over it any longer. She winced when Piccolo backhanded Gohan away once again. It was still hard to see her boy like this, but she was slowly accepting that the boy was much like his father in many ways, but he still had much intellect, and was already reading and writing at a high school level. As she continued to watch, Gohan was able to retrieve his sword and put Piccolo on the defensive again. Another ki slash and more white cloak falling away, she giggled at Piccolo as he cursed, finally just throwing the thing away.

ZZZZZZ

"Huh?" Looking into her bag next to her, she retrieved the phone she had been gifted for by Bulma.

"Hello?"

"CHI CHI? I've been trying to get ahold of you for the last 45 minutes! Tight's water broke not too long ago! If you wanna see the new baby soon, you gotta get here as soon as possible!"

"Uh...OH. Dammit! Alright I will try to get there soon!" Chi Chi hung up the phone immediately. Flying up, she flew in between the two combatants, who both stopped at her sudden intrusion.

"We need to get to Capsule Corp now!"

"Why all of a sudden do-"

"TIGHTS IS GONNA HAVE A BABY!"

"Uhhh..." The 5 year old was clueless at the moment. "Wa-wait Mommy. You mean-?"

"Yup. Tights Brief, Bulma's older sister is having a baby. And get this-"

"It's that idiot Shepard's isn't it?"

"Well...so..what...if he or she is?" Chi Chi asked, holding up hands up in mild confusion and annoyance.

"Whatever, fine. Gohan this spar is over. Grab your stuff up. Use that capsule thing or whatever and let's get going. But don't think I don't want to have a try in that Gravity Room thing you've been toying with."

"Agreed. Fine. Let's go!" Chi Chi took off, white aura soaring across the sky in a blaze...

Location: Wukong Hospital

The warrior trio arrived at the hospital only a few hours later. Walking into the clean facility, it was rushed with emergencies every which way. The noises were really getting to Piccolo with his sensitive hearing. And for Gohan. Being isolated or with only one or two people for months since his father died, the situation was jarring. His eyes darted back and forth every which way, taking it all in. Chi Chi walked up to the front desk, putting her hand on the table.

"Hello. We're hear for the Brief Family."

"Only family and close acquaintances may visit the Brief Family at this time. Please-"

"CHI CHI!" A screech from across the hospital near the elevator.

"Bulma! They won't let us go back there." Chi Chi exclaimed, frustrated at the lack of care from the nurse at the table.

"Nonsense! Nina!" Bulma called out the woman at the front desk.

"I'm sorry Ma'am. I wasn't aware you knew these people." Nina said, looking at Piccolo a bit worriedly.

"Yes I do. They're my friends and if you want to still have your job tomorrow morning, YOU'LL ALLOW THEM BACK THERE!" Bulma's head had grown to the comical size of a beach ball, causing the temptation to run the other way to rise in Piccolo, who grimaced at her yelling.

"S-sure. Please take these tags. Fill your name out, put them on your chest and please follow Miss Brief." The 3 did as they were told, before following the bluenette heiress towards the stairs.

"I figure with whatever equipment you guys may have on, it would be best to take the stairs and not have a weight issue on the elevator." Bulma smiled at her quick wit. Once up the stairs, they walked through the NICU, heading for a set of double doors.

"Tights is in the labor room right now. Don't know exactly how long she'll be going through it, but hopefully soon we can get her into the delivery room. This is going to be a big baby! She's already dilated 3 centimeters!" Bulma was mostly talking to Chi Chi, but Piccolo and Gohan had caught snippets of the conversation. Piccolo was disgusted already by being here, but listening to the woman talk about newborn infants made him want to puke. Gohan's innocence was being tested, and he was still wide eyed, head moving everywhere and taking everything in.

"Alright guys, Tights is in room 419. Have a seat, make yourselves comfortable. If you need any refreshments or snacks, let me know and I'll take care of it." Bulma said before rushing back through the door...

19 hours later...

Chi Chi was sitting in the chair across from the delivery room. Wincing at times when she heard Tights screaming from the other side of the doors.

"I'M GONNA KILL SHEPARD WHEN HE COMES BACK!" Was heard quite a few times throughout the process.

"Remind me to never go to a hospital for any more of these crybabies!" Piccolo said, grimacing while floating off of the ground in heavy meditation. Him and Chi Chi had gotten out books for Gohan to read through, who was sitting on the floor in front of his mother. ALL 3 looked up at the same time. Moments later, a loud cry echoed through the doors.

"Did you feel that kid?" Piccolo had sensed the power before the cry had came. 'I can already feel a swell of power in that room. That baby is going to be a force in the future.'

"Y-y-yeah. I didn't think a little baby could be that strong!" Gohan was shocked!

"W-wow. That is sooome power." Chi Chi eyes had gleamed. Helping Tights throughout her pregnancy had gifted the Princess some insight. Remembering how Tights was eating, this was sure to be a healthy, strong kid!

Nearly an hour later, after the 3 had settled down, Bulma walked through the doors, coming towards them. She looked exhausted. Her hair was matted down and sticking up in a few places.

"Whew... 9 pounds 8 ounces! Wanna come meet the new member of the family guys?"

"Do I?" Gohan jumped up, excited at meeting the new baby. Chi Chi smiled at her son's enthusiasm.

"Piccolo you may want to wait outside. Don't need you scaring the baby with that face of yours!" Bulma said, causing the namekian to blush, before snarling.

"What is that supposed to mean you blue headed-!"

"It'll be alright Bulma, I'll make sure he behaves. RIGHT, Piccolo?" Chi Chi sweetly asked, looking up and smiling brightly at the namekian, who was not fooled.

"Whatever, I just want to feel the power up close, that's all." Piccolo said, crossing his arms.

"Don't worry Miss Bulma, Piccolo is really nice and won't hurt the baby."

"Shut your mouth boy!"

"DON'T you talk to him like that!" Chi Chi said, all acts of sweetness gone as she marched up to Piccolo, cranking her head up and looking at the giant.

"Grrr...hmph. Whatever.."

Bulma secretly chuckled at their argument. They heard another loud cry as they went in. Tights looked absolutely exhausted. She was laying back on the pillows, holding a light blue colored bundle in her arms.

"Ohhhh it's ok Baby. It's ok." Smiling down at the bundle, she continued to coo the newborn until she looked up, smiling weakly at her visitors. "Hey guys! Chi Chi! I see you brought some extras." Tights smiled down at Gohan after. "Wanna come up and see the Baby young man?"

"Mommy? C-can I?"

"Of course son. Get up there." The boy did as he was told. Floating up so as not to disturb the baby.

"Hi Miss Tights. I'm Gohan. It's nice to meet you."

"Awww. You're so well mannered. Here ya go. Take a looksy." Opening up the bundle, Gohan took a look, smiling wide. A small mass of spiky hair puffed out of the bundle, with cautious but happy black eyes.

"Hi! I'm Gohan. We're going to be great friends someday. Just you watch." The baby looked at Gohan for a few moments, before laughing, a big toothless grin spreading wide. Gohan laughed in return, before waving bye and moving away.

"Awwwww what a cute little baby you are. Yes you are. Ohhhhh yes yes yes." Chi Chi tickled the baby's stomach, making him laugh. "So what are you gonna name him Tights?" The question caused Tights to tilt her head one way, looking slightly distant for a few moments.

"Something tough. Something that Shepard will like when he comes back. Hmmmm... I can't name him after underwear. That's for you Bulma when you settle down." Bulma blushed at the remark, scrunching up her face and shutting her own mouth before she yelled and woke the baby, so she walked out of the double doors. "But anyway... something tough. Tough. Tough...How about...Axel? Yeah...Axel! Shepard and I were working on one of my bikes a couple weeks before... well...well more like I was working and he was lifting it, and one of the axle's came lose and bonked him right in the head! He said if we ever had a son, he would want him to be named Axel or Reese. Don't know where he got the Reese name, but I'm going with Axel. Baby Ax! Whaddya think little baby oh yes yes yes." The baby laughed at his mother's antics.

"I remember when we were going to name Gohan. Kami my dad just wouldn't let up with the Ox names! We had gone to visit Goku's grandfather Gohan, who was slowly, but surely dying. Goku looked at his grandfather and then his son and just said "how bout Gohan?" You laughed so much Gohan. It was like it was meant to be." Chi Chi's eyes were glassy, looking at nothing in particular, perhaps stuck in the past.

Gohan had never heard the story before, so he could only look in awe.

Piccolo came up close, peering over the hospital bed and looking down at baby Axel, who in turn looked up at him. The snarl on Piccolo's face wouldn't go away, but it didn't stop Axel from reaching his hand out, attempting to pull on Piccolo's chin. It forced Piccolo to stand tall again. Using his senses, he could feel the baby's power.

"Before you even think about it Piccolo, no you cannot use Axel for the fight against those saiyans." Tights words caused Piccolo to sputter.

"W-what? I never said that! Is that what I think it is?" Piccolo caught sight of something brown and furry wrapped around Tights wrist.

"It is. And I'm keeping it." There was no room for argument. The tail had not let go since the baby was placed in her arms.

"Oooooo he has a tail? Awww look at that Gohan." Chi Chi said. Gohan floated back up, seeing the furry appendage, before letting his wiggle behind him.

"What does it mean Mommy?"

"Well...it means that Goku and Shepard's genetics translated over to you and Axel. Goku never really gave your tail much thought, but I was nervous about you keeping it. It's a part of you, a part of you that you yourself will have to decide if you wish to keep one day. Your father chose not to, but you can make a different choice."

"The baby's power is tremendous." Up close, Piccolo could feel the raw potential in the baby. It rivaled Gohan's for sure. 'Is this how all saiyan hybrid children are? I'm going to have to investigate this matter more.'

Chi Chi and Gohan continued to entertain the baby, much to Piccolo's chagrin. All he could do was stand in the corner of the room, eyes closed in meditation and patiently wait. Finally after what felt like an eternity, Bulma came back into the room.

"So whatcha think guys? Cute baby isn't he?"

"He sure is Miss Bulma. His name is Axel now." Gohan cheerily said.

"Axel Brief... hmmmm. Sounds interesting Tights. I'll name my kids after underwear, you'll name yours after motorcycle parts." Tights giggled at that, tickling the baby's stomach once again and causing the baby to toothlessly laugh.

"Haven't we been here long enough?" Piccolo impatiently pointed out.

"Alright alright. Geez Piccolo you sure know how to ruin good entertainment. Bulma is it ok if the three of us go to Capsule Corp? I'm going to get these guys into the new Gravity Room." Chi Chi asked.

Bulma thought for a moment, before pulling out a card and handing it to the woman. "Sure. I don't see why not. Just be careful. I still haven't updated the room to go beyond 5 times, so that will have to do for now."

"Great. Thank you Bulma! Let's go guys." Chi Chi said, waving to Tights and Axel, followed by the student and teacher...

Location: The Lookout

"You three have made me extremely proud to call you my students. Each of you has made incredible improvements upon your strength, and your focus." Kami praised the 3 warriors who had now completed their training with the deity. Krillin, Tien and Chiaotzu were smiling, feeling more confident then they had been months prior.

"My reward for each of you will be these. If you will Mr. Popo." Moments later, the genie handed each warrior a replica of their signature outfits.

"They are indeed your very outfits that you choose to fight in. However I have also transcribed my Kanji on each, signifying the completion of your training under me. Along with Piccolo, Chi Chi and Gohan, you 6 are the very fighters we will all be counting on, at least until Goku, Shepard and Yamcha arrive." Giving a faint smile, he peered at each student, who bowed in deep respect.

"We will take everything you have taught us and use it well."

"Thank you Kami. I promise to continue my training, and I won't give up!" Krillin said, more determined then ever to get stronger.

"We won't let you down Kami."

The three leapt off of the Lookout, letting gravity take them down before using their ki to right themselves.

"So Krillin, what's your plan?" Tien asked.

"Well, we still have quite a few of these Sensu Beans left. I was gonna go to Capsule Corp, maybe see if that Gravity Room that Bulma brought up before is available."

They had left the pieces of equipment at the Lookout, in case anyone should ever need them again. It helped their strength greatly, but they knew they needed more.

"Sounds like a good plan. What do you say Chaoitzu?" The mime nodded his head, indicating agreement. The 3 warriors were off to their next series of training, preparing themselves for the fight of their lives!...

Another filler chapter done guys! We're definitely getting closer to the saiyan saga's end. I promise it will be explosive, and different from the norm that most of you have read. One thing I want to point out is that Axel is in fact going to be several years older then the rest of the kids that come, with the exception of Gohan. There's a reason for this. At some point, this will effect Shepard in a way that may...push him more towards his saiyan tendencies! Ho Ho hooo that is all I will say. Now. Power levels. Last note: I tried putting a mark to indicate that Nappa's power level would be 6,000 plus but it didn't go through. Don't want you guys thinking that 6,000 was all he had.
