Now I am almost the strongest person in Kuoh Town right now since my aura of concealment makes everybody who can sense magic in Kuoh believe that I stopped getting stronger for the last few days.

Learning more new magic spells is good and all, but I need to learn some close-range combat skills in case I have to fight up close. I already have a pyromancer for a long-range fight, so I choose fighter.

The school was over, but after returning home and going to my room I noticed something... my egg was shaking and glowing. I'm sure that my egg will hatch very soon, so I decide to stay and watch my egg until my Digimon hatch out of their egg as I don't want them to wander off somewhere.
The shaking sped up a little bit, but I still spend almost two hours watching the egg, while I was waiting I have begin to level up my alchemist by making some potions.
As I'm killing time I notice a crack appear on the egg, causing me to jump up and rush back to it, as I watch more and more cracks appear, before the egg bursts into a bright light.
After the light fade away, I saw a small yellow round ball creature with tiny four legs, a pair of sharp pointy fox ears, and a fluffy white-tipped tail.

Feeling my body warp like it always does when I use ID Create, my surroundings change from my room to the zombie dungeon.
Vixen was surprised by the sudden change of location, but quickly calm down.
I hear several zombies moving toward our location. They are just small fry, but today I need to get Vixen stronger by using the weakest dungeon first before using the stronger ones.
We walk to a corner of a ruins building and spotted a small group of zombies wandering around the street as they have not noticed us yet.
Keith: "Okay, Vixen do your thing and attack them!
Vixen: "Right..."
She approached the zombies as they have not noticed her yet, so she use this opportunity to attack.
Vixen: "Killing Stone"
She turned herself into a stone releasing a deadly toxic that kill the nearing zombie, but the rest of the zombies noticed her and charge at her.
Vixen: "Catch me if you can!"
She started running from the horde of zombies, they tried to grab her, but she is too small and too quick for them to catch her. Vixen turned a corner in the street and transforms into a stone again, the zombie walks past her as she did the same thing over and over again as the zombie is not smart enough to know that the stone is really her.
She was fine for a few minutes doing her hit, run, and hide tactics until suddenly a large horde of zombies was in front of her blocking her path as the second horde of zombies came behind her blocking her escape.
I was going to save her until I got a notification that Vixen has maxed out her level in her current form!

I press 'Yes' on the screen as Vixen started to glow as she is evolving into her next form.
Vixen: "Viximon Digivolve to..."
She shouts as she transforms herself into a brand new Digimon. She turns into a tall bipedal fox with most of its body is covered in yellow fur, save for the tips of its tail and ears, underbelly, hands and legs from the knees down, and the purple Cancers symbols on its thighs. It also has wing-like tufts of yellow fur on its shoulders and a large, mane-like tuft of white fur on its chest. Its wears purple sleeves that cover its forearms with yin-yang symbols on the back of the hands. It has three clawed fingers on its hands and three clawed toes on its feet. It has black eyes with indigo pupils.
Vixen: "Renamon!"
She says after digivolving as she jumped up in the air over the group of zombies and the fox Digimon started her attack on the group of Zombies.
Vixen: "Diamond Storm!"
She fires a barrage of glowing sharpened leaves at the zombies and kills all of the zombies instantly. After killing the group zombie, I use obverse on Renamon.

It's true that the Digimon level had reset after digivolving and also it seems that is harder to level up despite that she killed a large group of zombies.

About two hours later, Vixen reached level 9 after killing the last zombie in the area, she is very close to evolving into her next stage, then a zombie legion appears a few moments after the last zombie dies.

This one is stronger than the last one I met but it is still perfectly fine because Vixen can easily handle it without my help. It waste no time to charge at her, but she dodged with her speed.
The legion crash into a tree as it tries to turn around, Vixen uses the chance to strike it in the back.
Vixen: "Power Paw"
She delivers a powerful ghostly flaming kick onto its back and knocks the legion to the ground.
Legion: "Raaaaaaaawr!"
The zombie legion scream in pain as it turn back around swings its huge arm at her, but Vixen dodged it with ease.
Vixen: *chuckles* Too slow!
She jumped up into the air to unleash her attack.
Vixen: "Diamond Storm!"
She fires a barrage of glowing sharpened leaves at the zombie legion, it tried to get away from the attack, but it was too late as it finally died from too much damage!
Finally, she had reached the maxed level to evolve into champion form.

During lunchtime, I was hanging out with my friend, Koneko. We are sitting at our usual spot under the tree, I and she become close friends, as well as her affection, has increased during the few days that I have gained a new perk from her.

Keith: "I see! You know is very dangerous to show up here what if anyone saw you, Vixen?"
Vixen: "Don't worry, I'm way too stealthy to be noticed by anyone."
Keith: "I know but I just worry if anyone tries to take you away from me!"

As school was over and walking home, I heard the barking... no, yipping dogs coming from an alleyway.
Keith: "Okay, what is making these dogs yip their throats out?"
I grumbled walking into the alley.
Sure enough, I saw three medium-sized dogs barking at a small cardboard box on the edge of the alleyway.
Keith: "Okay, what are these dogs barking at in the box?"
I mumbled walking up behind the dogs and pushing them aside with my foot, which caused the dog that I touched first to jump and tumble over my foot.
Keith: "Shoo mutts."
I snapped at the dogs trying to make them to go away.
Instead, they stood and barked at me, so in turn I picked up two trashcan lids and slammed them together, causing them to jump and scatter.
Keith: "So... what were they barking at?"
I asked aloud turning back to the cardboard box and getting onto my knees to look into the box.
And was met by a clawed swat to the face.
Keith: "Ow."
I said blinking at the sudden attack on my face.
I was apparently attacked by a little black cat with hazel gold eyes that was hiding in the box, naturally, I observed her.

I thought looking at Kuroka's stats.
Keith: 'Also what up with tier stats that's new, she is the strongest person that I have met so far.'
I look back at the black cat while still sitting in the box.
Keith: "Well... aren't you a feisty little one."
I said softly and held out my hand to the Nekoshou that was disguised as a kitten.
Slowly but surely I managed to pet the disguised devil with a single finger as she was purring at my touch.
Keith: 'I always did consider myself good with cats.'
I thought as I think about taking her home with me.
Keith: "Come on little one, you're safe. Are you hungry?"
Slowly but surely the small cat stepped out of the box and I picked her up and held her in my arms.
Keith: "Well, this was easier than thought."
I said mostly to myself.
Kuroka: "Mreow?"
She meowed.
Keith: "Don't you worry about it little kitten."
I said smiling at her.
Keith: "Let's just get you to my place, I'm pretty sure I've got something you'd like there and if I don't I will go to a pet store if needed."
Good thing, Sakuya went groceries shopping, yesterday. We arrived at my mansion and were greeted by Sakuya.

She bowed and noticed I have a black kitten in my arms.

Keith: "Yeah, I found her in an alleyway being attacked by some dogs!"

Keith: "She might be hungry so can you feed her with some fish"

She went into the kitchen, started cutting off some fish for the kitten, and served it to her on a small plate as she started eating. I sat on the couch and flicked on the T.V. to the news channel while I drifted into my thoughts.
Keith: 'So... I've found Kuroka before canon even starts, but the question is whether or not she's with Vali at the moment or not.'
I thought maybe it was a bad idea to bring her to my home then again she might follow me anyway after meeting her and also I may have prevented her from joining Vali's team and having her for myself. Who doesn't want a beautiful sexy cat girl for themself?
I looked back to Kuroka, who was still digging her face into the chopped-up fish, I was thinking about using the slave collar on her, but I turned against that idea because the problem is she will notice that something is wrong, and she will try to get away from me. I want her to take a liking to me and not dislike me and also if Kuroka is with Vali's team then she might bring her teammates to attack me. I need to know if she tried to go somewhere while I'm not looking.
After a few minutes of thinking I have come up with an idea in my mind.
Keith: 'I know I will buy a cat collar from a pet shop and put the tracking chip inside of the collar. Plus the chip is technology not magic means that she will not notice it and I will know if she is up to something!'
I barely held back my chuckle at my plan as I stand up and walked over to Kuroka and pet her head, causing her to look at me in surprise.
Keith: "I'mma head out for a while, I don't know how long I going to be gone, so Sakuya will be watching over you while I'm gone, okay?"

She replied before returning to eating her fish as I walk out of my home. Walking down the street, I was thinking about the tier stats it was brand new to me, so I going to ask Isis about it.

No, only non-gamer get tier, but gamers get ranks instead.

Keith: 'Damn that suck means that any of my future human companions will be harder to get stronger, but I will deal with that in the future.'
I arrived at the pet shop and buys a cat collar with a tracking chip on it as well as a few something too. I left the store since I have a lot of time before I go back home I could level up Vixen to finish the quest and also level my saber class. I walk to a dark alley and call out for my Digimon partner.
Keith: "Hey, Vixen are you here?"
She appeared in front of me and kneeled down like a ninja bowing to their master.
Vixen: "I'm here!"
Keith: "Ready to get stronger, my partner."
Vixen: "Of course."
Keith: "Alright! [ID Create: Goblins]!"
We arrived in the middle of the forest in the dungeon,
Keith: "Let's get some more training!"
Vixen: "Right!"
She nods as we spotted a group of goblins near us. I drew my sword from my inventory I am going to level up the saber class and Vixen got ready to fight too. I have noticed that a few of them are riding wolves.

They rush at us, one of the riders tries to jump on me but I thrust my sword through both the goblin and wolf. The rest of them tried to attack Vixen, but she is not going down so easily.

She shoots nine blue fireballs from her tails and kills all of the goblins with one shot.
Vixen: "Ha! Too easy!"
Suddenly, a few dozen more goblins came out of the woods and attacked us. We started killing goblins with me using my sword and Vixen using her fox tail inferno.

After a few hours, I and Vixen have slain hundreds of goblins in the forest. Vixen has leveled up almost halfway to her max level cap in her champion form.

Now I can take some more hits than before now. Suddenly I noticed something coming right at Vixen while she not looking.

Suddenly from the shadow of the woods, a very tall goblin called a hobgoblin have appear in front of us. It wielding a huge battle axe in his hand as might be one who threw that axe at Vixen.

I was about to attack that hobgoblin for almost killing my Digimon partner, but Vixen blocked my path by jumping in front of me.
Vixen: "Keith, let me handle this guy!"
Keith: "But..."
Vixen: "Please let me do this! I was careless for letting my guard down, and almost got myself hurt if you haven't told me!"
I sighed.
Keith: "Fine, go ahead!"
Vixen: "Thank you!"
She approached the hobgoblin as they stared each other in the eyes to see who will make the first move.
After a few seconds of staring, the hobgoblin decided to make the first move as he swings his axe at Vixen, she dodged it instantly, but he smacked her with his other arm and she was knocked down into the ground.
Vixen: "Ahhh!"
She gasped in pain, but she recover very quickly as the hobgoblin got ready to attack again.
Vixen: "Fox Tail Inferno!"
She launched nine blue fireballs at him, the hobgoblin uses his axe to block four of the fireballs as the rest hit him hard!
Hobgoblin: "Ahhhhhhhh!"
The hobgoblin screams in pain as his body is covered in blue flames, Vixen took this opportunity to finish him off.
Vixen: "Dragon Wheel!"
She unleashed a huge flame in the shape of a dragon and rushes at the hobgoblin as he was encased with more burning flames, he tried to put out the flames, but it was too late. The hobgoblin finally dies and his burning body drops to the ground.
Vixen has gained 2 levels!

After finishing the first objective, a red and blue digivice suddenly appear in my hand and use to observe on it.

A Fusion Loader is another type of Digivice that allows fusing your Digimon for a better chance at winning your battles.
Functions:
Return - The command plus Digimon's name to return partied Digimon within the Fusion Loader.
Reload - The command plus the Digimon's name to release partied Digimon from the Fusion Loader.
Digitize -The command to scan digital items and fractal code.
Digivolution - The command to digivolve a partied Digimon into the next stage.
De-Digivolve- The command to un-digivolve a partied Digimon back to the previous stage.
Digifuse - The command to fuse partied Digimon to fuse.

I use de-digivolve to turn Vixen back into her rookie form and turned out she keep her max level in her rookie form, good to know.
Keith: "Return, Vixen!"
I sent her into her fusion loader as I leave the dungeon returning to the world as I started walking back home.
Keith: 'Well I did get back pretty late so it's no real surprise that Kuroka's asleep.'
I thought walking in the door and looking at the sleeping cat on my couch. I walk past her to talk to Sakuya.
Keith: "She did try to leave the house or do anything?"
Sakuya: "No master, she been eating and wandering around the mansion."
Keith: "Good!"
I went to my bedroom and activated the tracking chip in the cat collar, I will give it to her in the morning. Time to sleep.
