Remember how last entry I said waking up to a blowjob was so much better than waking up to an alarm? I stand by that statement. Alarms suck.

Levy and I are woken up at approximately ass o'clock in the morning by my phone going off, right on schedule(unfortunately). To be more specific, for record keeping purposes, it was 2am that we woke up at. It's noon right now, so we'll be going to bed in about… two hours. I don't see that happening considering how fucking bright it is and the fact that we've done nothing all day, but we'll see.

The plan is to wake up at 10pm tonight, two hours before the portal opens, and make our last minute preparations, such as taking a bath, getting dressed, and packing whatever we might need. Not that we have much.

It was pleasantly cool outside when we woke up though, and the stars here are absolutely beautiful, so we decided to have our planning strategy outside. We may have gotten distracted having sex before we got started, but can you blame us? Sex beneath the stars like that was an amazing experience and super romantic.

So after that, while we soaked in the tub, was when we started our planning. We'd already made a pretty good mundane shopping list, so this time we talked about the Catalog stuff, and our general strategies for portal openings.

"We have… three goals to accomplish, roughly," I started, summarizing things as usual. "First is to do some shopping. This is dependent on it being a modern-ish world. The less developed the tech is, the less we'll be able to get. Still, there are some things we should be able to get no matter what."

Levy nodded. "Even young civilizations should have food and basic construction materials."

"And we can survive without those things if we have to, so it's not the end of the world if we can't acquire any," I added. "The second thing we need are Credits, which means Stamping people. Which sorta leads into the third thing, which is people. We can't support more than three additional people, but there are people we'll need to recruit to make some progress."

"Let's go over that first," Levy says, leaning back against me. "The shopping has to wait until we see what world we end up in, and the Catalog purchases have to wait until a few days after the portal closes. So we should discuss stamping and recruitment strategies."

"Stamping strategies…" I repeated out loud, mulling it over. "That's also pretty world dependent. There are ways to trick people into accepting a Stamp, but a lot of them require setup that I don't think we'll have time to do. Like hosting events that we'll draw certain characters to, or coming up with some other organized thing where everyone gets stamped and it's normal. A concert, a sale, a security checkpoint, something along those lines."

I sighed. "Or if we had someone young in our group, we could just give them the Stamp and tell them to test it out on people. A lot of people would be willing to let a kid stamp them with their 'toy stamp'. It makes the kid happy and costs them very little."

"We can get started on making a kid but that would take a while," Levy replied, her tone only half-joking.

I rolled my eyes and continued. "There's also just… asking." I said. "I can even tell them the truth, or part of it. I can tell them that I need to Stamp people and I get a special currency for every person that I do. And that it won't affect them at all. In fact, it might even benefit them. They'll reach their full potential faster, and if I get defenses or talent sharing, they'll get them too."

"And the downsides you won't mention?" Levy asked.

"Falling in love with me, though I think that without me being there they'll just pine for me. They won't even do that if I set them to Familiar status, which I probably should. I could also theoretically sell them. Or Power Swap them. But I wouldn't do either of those unless they were dicks."

"So, no downsides, so long as you don't change your mind," she summarized.

"Exactly. So we just don't tell them about it. Paying them a hundred bucks to let me stamp them is also viable. We can just tell them it's part of a contest or something, take a selfie with them as 'proof' and call it a day."

"Maybe," Levy agreed. "Like you said, it depends on the world we end up in. What about recruiting then?"

"Recruiting is even worse, in terms of it depending on the world and the character," I replied. "When it comes to recruiting, I'd really rather not trick anyone or force them to come back with us. But the number of characters that I can think of that would be willing to abandon their life and live in this kind of situation is pretty small."

"So we'll have to play that by ear as well then," Levy said. "How about we focus on what kind of roles we need to fill? We can look for people that meet those roles and focus on them."

"Hmm," I mused. "I think the most important thing we need is a consistent source of food. We have the blapples, but we want more variety than that, if only for our sanity. And we also want to be able to produce non-food crops, such as cotton and hemp, or maybe even something like bamboo and wood. So we need a gardener, preferably one that can grow plants supernaturally quickly."

"There are kinds of magic in my world that can do that," Levy said. "But my world is probably dangerous enough that we won't be going there anytime soon."

"Well, maybe. Some conditions or time periods can bring down the danger rating of a world. Let me check yours." I grabbed my phone, which was sitting next to the bath on the ground just for this purpose, and opened the Catalog app.

"Hmm. Nope, guess all the wizards running around causing trouble makes it dangerous no matter when you go," I said. "The earliest we could end up there is… the ninth time the portal opens. And I'd really like to get started before that."

"Do you have any other candidates in mind? I don't know all these different worlds like you do."

"Two come to mind," I said after a few moments of thought. I quickly pulled up their details in the Catalog to confirm their information and ratings. "The first is Mukae Emukae from Medaka Box. She has an ability to rot things that she touches. She can't fully control it at first and is unable to turn it completely off, but by the end of things she has perfect control over it. She can use it to rot soil, which, somehow, produces something that causes plants to grow massively in seconds. She can even control what grows, if I remember correctly. She's also very cute and earnest."

"Recruit or purchase?" Levy asked.

"The world she's from has a danger rating of four, so it would be the fifth portal minimum before she'd appear. But honestly, recruiting probably isn't feasible. She could be convinced early on. She's what is called a 'Minus' in her world, which means her ability is considered a negative one, and there's a deep connection between trauma, shitty environments, and a bad mentality and the abilities of a Minus. In short, early on, she's a loner with few attachments. Of course, these problems can be overcome, especially with the Stamp. But until she grew into her future self's framework, her ability could do more harm than help here."

"What about her future self? If we arrived later, after she learned to control it?"

"Then her mentality has improved and she has a crush on the male lead, Zenkichi. She'd be near impossible to recruit. On the bright side, she's only Tier 5, which means she's only twenty credits to purchase, and she'd be her fully powered self."

"Hmm. What about the second girl?"

"Kusano, from Sekirei," I said. "She's also a powerful healer, which puts her at Tier 6. But she'd be much easier to recruit. Well, maybe. Sekirei is rated at two or three, depending on where you are, which means the portal can definitely open there as early as tomorrow. There are a lot of possible recruits there, actually. Sekirei are aliens that bond with humans. I don't have the psychic potential or the right genes to do that the normal way, but the Stamp should serve the right purpose. And there's a small window of time where Kusano is available and un-bonded."

I paused then. "I should also mention that she's a child, and we don't have Universal Calibration to change that. We might have to start wearing clothes again and stop having sex at the drop of the hat if we recruit her."

Realistically, not exposing her to sex at some point was… well, it was impossible. I was building a harem after all, and space was at a premium. Anyone brought to the island was going to get exposed to sex and nudity, especially a curious child with little to no entertainment.

But I really didn't enjoy the thought of just blatantly having sex in front of someone that young, who wouldn't really understand what it was. So limits would have to be placed, which I really didn't like.

I sighed. "She's too useful to pass up if we get the chance, but I'd rather our recruits and purchases be teens at the very least."

"Agreed," Levy said, likely having followed the same thought process as me.

"Other than that, I can't really think of any good gardeners. Any decent biokinetic could do something along those lines at least, but most of those are in more dangerous worlds, or have restrictions that they'd have to train past."

"We'll keep an eye out when the portal opens," Levy said. "Afterwards we can see what our credit budget is like. Any others we need?"

"That depends. How good are you at cooking?" I asked.

"I… know how," she admitted. "But that's all I can say."

"I'm pretty much the same. I think we'll want someone who can actually make the food we get taste good though. I could just get the Faerie feast perk, but our budget is a little too tight for that. Thankfully, good cooks are pretty common, or pretty cheap if we want to purchase one."

"Agreed, a good cook is important," Levy said.

"Other than that… we also need a healer. A doctor or a magical healer, or both. I can think of dozens off the top of my head, they're somewhat common thankfully."

"How about Wendy, from my world? She's pretty cute."

"She's also fifty credits," I noted. "Still, I'm also thinking that we want to prioritize recruiting a healer rather than purchasing them. The cheapest a healer can be is ten credits, but we can get Body Tune-Up for just five. And each of the two levels of Body Defense are also only five credits. That will be enough for emergency injuries, saving us money from having to buy a healer."

"That's a good point. Okay, recruit but don't buy a healer. Anything else?"

"A fighter," I said. "Or, preferably, someone who can train me to become a fighter. Some of the worlds are going to be pretty dangerous for me, even just with a Danger Rating of three. You'll be able to handle most issues, I know how good you can be in a fight. But if we get separated or in an unfavorable situation, I'll need to be able to hold my own."

"You're really that confident in me, huh?" Levy asked, sounding pleased.

"You may not have been the main fighter, but you fought alongside the other Fairy Tail members against some pretty scary foes. You were also put up for promotion to S-Rank at one point. I'm sure you're more than capable of handling non-magical men in armor."

I stopped as I scrolled through the DR3 worlds. "Or dinosaurs, apparently. I really hope we don't go to Jurassic Park." I shook my head. "But I'm thinking long term. Even with Talents, the potential danger of the worlds is going to increase faster than my combat skills possibly could. So I'd like to get started learning as early as possible."

"Do you have anyone in mind? Or styles?"

"Actually, I kind of do," I admitted. "In fact, the trainer I want the most is the runner up for the free companion I wanted to bring with me, the one after you."

"Oh?" Levy sounded curious, and not annoyed at all. I know that Stamp effects mean I don't have to worry about stuff like jealousy, but it's going to take some time for that to sink in. And seeing it in action, I guess.

"Biscuit Krueger is a T5 and is one of the best Nen teachers in her setting," I explained. "Nen is a fascinating and amazing power, capable of almost everything, though any individual will probably only be able to do a few things well at most. The more you specialize, the greater heights you can reach. And I figured we'd have a lot of downtime here, waiting between portals, which would be perfect for training."

"Why'd you choose me over her?" Again, there was no jealousy or anything like that in her voice, only curiosity.

"Well, it came down to two things I guess. First, I decided that your power was more useful early on than spending a week meditating to maybe be able to unlock my Nen. I think I'm going to want to get a Talent or two before I can start training properly. And second… well, I thought you were a lot more attractive than she was."

Levy made a humming noise I couldn't really parse. "Is she not cute?"

"She is but…" I trailed off. "She's what you'd call a legal loli I guess? She's an adult woman, but she doesn't like her normal form, so she spends pretty much all of her time transformed to look younger. Her normal form is like a bodybuilder, and while it's impressive it's not what I would call 'cute'. And her younger form is just a little young for my tastes. She is an adult, so I wouldn't have a problem getting intimate with her, but I wasn't as enthusiastic about the idea as I was with doing it with you."

"And you still made me wait so long," Levy teased. "But if she can transform, can't she control her apparent age?"

"I couldn't say for certain," I explained. "Maybe? But Nen responds to desires, so it might not be as easy as consciously wanting to appear to be fifteen instead of ten. But if I had to guess… I'd say yes, but there's a good chance that it's something she has to work at to shift her subconscious desires."

"I see. Anyone else?"

"Not in particular, not that we could reasonably afford at least. While I'd like to get Biscuit sooner or later, because Nen can stack on top of other styles and powers pretty easily, this might be another one to just keep an eye out for. Any skilled combatants with teaching experience, or even decent teaching potential, that would be willing to come join us."

"So far we're keeping an eye out for gardeners, cooks, healers, and fighters. That's more people than we can support."

"I doubt we'll find all of those in the first world, and a gardener will increase the number of mouths we can feed. And if we make that many recruits, we should be able to afford more blocks, and each one should come with a blapple tree."

"I need to come up with a better name for those fruit," Levy grumbled.

"I think it's too late for that, it'll forever be 'blapple' in my mind."

Levy sighed, but moved on. "Okay, so in the right situation, if we're successful enough, we can feed more than five. But I'm pretty sure we can only fit one more in the tent."

"We can sleep in shifts if it comes down to it. Not ideal, but it'll serve long enough to get a larger house built."

"We should also add a crafter to the recruit list then," Levy suggested. "We've been doing okay so far, and once we get some reference books I'll be able to make more things, but we're going to reach our limit sooner or later."

"Hmm," I hummed as I thought about our options. "That one is tricky. Most of the ones that come to mind require some kind of infrastructure they can rely on for materials and tools. Some of them might be able to work from little to no support, building up to their normal tech level, but it's not something that comes up often, so it's hard to say for sure. Only two people come to mind, and one of them is a dude."

"But they don't have to be, right?" Levy said. "You can purchase female versions of them. Or Power Swap their skills onto someone else. Maybe even yourself?"

"That's true," I agreed. "The dude I'm thinking of is Senku, from a world where all of humanity was petrified for over a thousand years. He wakes up, figures out how to wake up others, and has the goal of rebuilding civilization. He has all the knowledge needed to start from nothing and turn it into modern tech. Combined with your magic we could make a lot of progress."

"Isn't all of that information we can get through mundane means though?" Levy pointed out.

"Well… yeah, now that you mention it. It's slightly less convenient, but more budget friendly. Alright, forget Senku then. The only other person I can think of that I know can make things from nothing actually has a power similar to yours, kinda.

"Momo Yaoyozuru transforms her fat cells into things. Like you, she has to understand what she's making, but that's the extent of the similarities between you. What she makes isn't restricted in shape, so she can make just about anything. But she's pretty heavily restricted in mass. She's converting her actual fat cells, so she can only produce as much mass as she has those. And of course, she needs to eat enough to build up that fat."

"I see. By herself that's pretty useful, but if we were to combine our skills we'd be able to cover a lot of situations."

"Exactly. I think we should purchase her sooner or later. Recruiting her will be hard, as she's pretty attached to her home."

"We'll have to prioritize purchasing you some Lures," Levy commented. "Recruiting would go a lot easier if you could just make them fall for you first."

"Maybe," I replied. "We'll see how recruiting goes before making that call. Any other role we need filled?"

"Hmm. A musician?" she suggested. "It's so quiet here. Someone playing an instrument would make it a lot nicer."

"That would be nice, but not exactly a high priority."

She shrugged, shoulders brushing against my chest. "No, but that's all I can think of. I think we've covered the important bases."

I sighed. "Let's summarize then. A gardener, a healer, a cook, a crafter, a fighter, and a musician. Those are the people we're hoping to recruit. We also have a shopping list. Thankfully the Company paycheck starts on day one, so we have ten thousand USD. Which uhh. I don't know how much that is money you're familiar with. A novel is about ten to twenty dollars though, if that puts it into scale."

"That does, actually. And that's quite a bit of money. So we have that, a shopping list, a recruitment list, and we want to get as many Credits as we can. Are we going to try a Mission?"

"We'll take a look at what they offer but I don't want to commit to anything." I let out another sigh. "There's just too much that depends on what world we end up in, and when. We'll have to adapt on the fly."

"We can still do some preparation," Levy said. "We're not doing anything else today, so let's go over the worlds you know that might show up and come up with plans for each one."

"Sure, but let's get out of this bath first, the water is starting to get cold," I agreed.

And that's what we've been doing for the past eight or so hours, even as we ate and watched the sunrise a couple hours after we got out of the bath. I scrolled through the list of worlds with a Danger Rating of three or lower, stopped at the ones I knew, explained them to Levy, and we hashed out plans.

Honestly, it was mentally exhausting, which is why we stopped after just a couple dozen. Thinking of scenarios for every world and time period was just too much for a single day of work. We've decided that, going forward, we're going to spread it out. Once a day, when we stop to eat lunch, we'll pick one world and make plans for it, taking notes on the phone so that we can reference it later.

But for the couple hours remaining today… I'm looking over at Levy, who is laying down next to me in the tent, completely naked. It's a sight I've been seeing a lot of these past couple days, and the excitement hasn't gone away yet. She might be my ideal girl, perfectly curvy without being too big or too small.

Fuck it, I'm horny again, and some exercise will help me fall asleep I think. I'm ending this entry here.

AN: Not much to say except that this chapter was perhaps a bit overly exposition dump-y, but I wanted to express where his thoughts and preparations were for. Especially if I end up rolling a world where none of it applies, or they're caught off guard by some factor. It's all about making the whole thing feel organic and dynamic.
