Here we have another chapter! Gotta love the closet pervert Kakashi Hatake. Oh, and his fanboy Takai.

The next day, Konoha Shinobi Academy

Takai and Naruto were currently sitting in class waiting on Iruka to arrive and assign them their Jonin instructors. To the surprise of everyone, he and Naruto were reading a book together, pointing and muttering. Almost all eyes were on Naruto though. 'Is he...reading? And is Takai letting him read over his shoulder?' Was the unanimous thought of everyone there. From the moment Takai had entered the Academy he had acted indifferent towards everyone apart from Naruto.

The others were staring at the pair, including Shikamaru Nara, the class's lazy genius. It was certainly perplexing to him. The classmate who acted cold and distant to almost everyone constantly was best friends with the most annoying and knuckle headed kid in the class. An interesting situation that he would like to know more about but, 'That takes more investigation than I care to perform, in other words: its too troublesome.'

Eventually the class shrugged it off, after all, this wasn't the first time. Heck, they had even seen Takai get Naruto to listen to Iruka-sensei lecturing. That was an incredible feat on its own. Shikamaru thought back to when they were training their kunai and shuriken throwing last week.

FLASHBACK: Konoha Shinobi Academy's Training Field

The class was lined up into rows in front of targets, they were given a bag of the slightly dulled Academy kunai and shuriken. "Alright class, get at least five of each tool to hit the target and you pass this session."

Shikamaru of course put in minimal effort, sticking five of each anywhere on the target and moved away to let the next person go. He watched the rest of the class lazily, not paying much attention until Takai stuck four kunai all at one, and the last one from his other hand easily. He did the same thing the shurikens. The most interesting part was his perfect accuracy, so much so that the tools had all managed to fit into the relatively small center of the target. The boy behind him growled as he moved up to do his best to beat the blue masked boy only to stick one kunai and two shurikens into the target, all being on the fourth ring.

Shikamaru watched Takai stand next to him, silently watching Naruto throwing each one at a time and getting acceptable marks on the assignment. He promptly ran over to Takai and began talking about his next prank loudly to the boy who agreed to assist him. It was quite the interesting bit for the class.

End flashback

Shikamaru watched as Takai took out a notepad and began writing on it, he wished he could see what it said, but Shikamaru was up in the back of the class while the duo were in the front. He watched intently and Takai seemingly itched his nose through his mask. 'That's another thing, what's with the constant mask?' Shikamaru mused. Not even two weeks ago he had thrown somebody attempting to yank his mask down over his shoulder.

He didn't even put effort into it, just as if it were something completely casual. He shrugged, not worth investigating to him, fun to theorize about. He was doing just that until Choji got his attention and the two began conversing about the rotund boy's favorite brand of chips.

Takai couldn't shake the feeling that he was being watched. It was like a light pressure on the back of his head. He turned slightly to his right, seeing Shikamaru only then turn around to talk to Choji. That was when the feeling went away.

'Probably trying to figure me out.' He thought. He shook his head as he explanation for finding a taijutsu style out of the Shinobi Archive next to the Hokage Tower and working on it.

"I like it! We can work on it after we get assigned our sensei!" He said cheerfully. Takai gave him an eye smile in reply. That quickly stopped when the class heard a sound like stampeding animals down the hall. They all looked at the door, except Takai who was currently writing ideas for him and Naruto's taijutsu project. All the sudden the door burst open with Sakura and Ino both panting, obviously having raced there.

"FIRST!" They both shouted at the same time, they looked at each other, "NUH UH!" They both shouted.

"No way Forehead! I had an entire hair in first!" Ino yelled at Sakura who in reply stepped further in, "And I had my entire pinky toe in first, Ino-pig!" Ino frowned while Sakura cheered.

She rushed over to Sasuke while Ino dejectedly sat in the empty desk behind him. "Hi Sasuke-kun, can I sit here?" Sakura asked cheerfully. The boy in question looked up at her and grumbled, clearly annoyed.

"Hi Sak-" Naruto began happily before Sakura yelled at him, "Shut it roach! I'm not going to go on a date with you!" Naruto had a proverbial rain cloud over his head.

"So, can I sit here?" Sakura asked Sasuke brightly when she turned back to him. He grumbled once again.

"Ya' know, the guy clearly isn't interested in either of you, right?" Takai said. Sakura looked at him as if he had insulted her dead grandparents while Ino looked ready to blow a fuse.

"AND WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT SASUKE-KUN YOU MASK WEARING FREAK?" They both screamed simultaneously.

Takai chuckled at getting such a rise from them, "That all he does when you ask him stuff like that is that he grumbles and turns away. If he wanted you to sit near him he would say yes or something." He then did a silly high pitched voice, "Hi Sasuke-kun, may I sit next to you and kiss your feet and worship the ground you walk on?" He then did a voice only a bit lower in pitch that sounded like a little girl, "Yes! I am your god! Now kiss me!" He made various mock kissing sounds while extending his head forwards, eye closed.

Takai chuckled mischievously as the two girls looked ready to try and kick his ass. "Hey! Don't blame the messenger, if you two knew anything about the guy its that he isn't interested in any sort of love right now. And hell, I know more about the guy if I have to explain that to you two, so if anyone should be sitting next to Sasuke'-kun', it should be me. Besides, he clearly respects strength, which, let's be frank here, neither of you have much of that, if any." He did air-quotations at the honorific on Sasuke's name. Each point made the two girls feel like weights were being dropped on their hope of dating Sasuke. Takai laughed at their expressions.

It was then Sasuke chose to speak up, "He'd be less annoying than you two." He said as he faced back to the front, returning to his brooding. The two girls looked crushed, but Sakura sat next to Sasuke regardless, much to his displeasure. It was then Iruka chose to show his face. "Good morning class, as you know, today we'll be assigning Jonin instructors. I'll make this quick, we have a lot of you, and one more than we originally predicted, so instead of the three man teams, one team shall have an extra person." He said as he began to list off names and their Jonin instructor down to the last four. Takai inwardly groaned at the realization that he'd be on a team with a fan girl as the list reached the last four names.

'C'mon, put me on a team with Sakura- please please please!' Naruto thought, not having realized that there were only four left.

'Please! Put me with Sasuke! No Naruto!' Sakura thought, also not having realized the situation with the names.

"Team 7: Sakura Haruno, Naruto Uzumaki..." Naruto cheered out loud, "Yes!" while Sakura practically melted out of sheer disappointment, "Sasuke Uchiha, and Takai Tekkan." Iruka listed off. This time was Sakura's turn to cheer while Naruto did the disappointment-melt. Takai rolled his eye, he was not excited to be with a fan girl. "Your Jonin is Kakashi Hatake." Takai jumped up, "You're serious?!" He almost yelled at Iruka. The whole class sans Naruto looked shocked at such a big reaction from the boy.

He nodded as he went to leave, "Your Jonin instructors will be here eventually to pick you guys up and take you away, behave until then." He said as he left.

Two and a half hours later

"AAAAH! HE'S LATE!" Sakura screamed while pointing at the door. Sasuke rolled his eyes at her antics before returning to his brooding. Sakura, Sasuke, Naruto, and Takai were the only ones that haven't been collected by their instructor.

Takai laughed. Naruto glanced at him as if to say, "You're leaving me out?" Takai waved his hand in response. "You'll figure it out eventually." He said.

Naruto nodded simply as the pair returned to their planning and thinking on their new taijutsu style. It was completely bare bones at the moment, but they had ideas. Unbeknownst to all in the room, Kakashi was waiting outside the door, reading and delaying having to deal with the kids. After another ten minutes Naruto finally stood up and walked over to the blackboard, picking up a chalk covered eraser and opened the door slightly and reached to put the eraser between the door and wall, but found he was incapable of reaching.

Takai smiled as he saw what he was trying to do. He stood up from his musings and walked over to Naruto. He spread his legs out a bit to brace himself and squatted down, holding his hands close to the ground. "Step on my hands and I'll boost you up."

"Yeah, sure thing! This will get him! Believe it!" Naruto said happily as he did so. Takai stood up and lifted Naruto as he did so with no difficulty. Naruto placed the eraser against the ceiling and closed the door solidly on it, locking it into place so long as the door was closed. Kakashi watched half the eraser stick out and noted their words, 'Well, so long as it was accomplished with teamwork, I suppose I could indulge them.' Kakashi thought as he pocketed his book and turned towards the door. He stuck his head through and opened the door just barely enough to let the eraser lose and for it to fall on his head.

"Hey-" Kakashi said as the eraser fell onto his head, a plume of chalk flying out of the eraser. Sasuke deadpanned, Naruto broke down laughing, Sakura looked mortified, and Takai was studying the Jonin with a careful eye. 'Is this guy really a Jonin?' Sasuke thought incredulously. Sakura shook her head and waved her hands as if denying something, "I'm so so sorry Sensei! I tried to get them to stop but they wouldn't listen! It was all Naruto and Takai." 'She tries to make excuses to protect herself, throwing her teammates under the wagon. Sasuke appears to not have participated.' Kakashi thought, 'Only teamwork between the two, but its a start.'

Takai remained silent, but he was obviously enjoying having gotten the Jonin if the crinkle around his eye was an indicator.

"Well then, I'm your Jonin instructor. Meet me on the roof." The man said before he vanished in a puff of smoke. Takai walked back over to his desk to pocket his notepad and pen. He at last moved from the room to follow his new teammates.

Roof of Konoha Shinobi Academy

"Alright, you all are here," The man said, leaning against the guard rail, "introduce yourselves, your name, likes, dislikes, dreams for the future, hobbies, that kind of thing." He said casually.

They all looked at each other, "Well, you go first just to make sure we know how its done." Takai said.

'Getting information out of me, alright.' Kakashi thought. "I'm Kakashi Hatake. My likes...my dislikes...my dreams for the future...never really thought about it. As for my hobbies...I have lots of hobbies." He said aloofly.

"That wasn't very descriptive, all we really got was his name. What do you think Sasuke-kun?" Sakura said. Naruto nodded while Takai made eye contact with the man who looked quite bored. When no one went Kakashi made the decision for them, "Alright. You, on the far left, introduce yourself."

Sakura looked surprised for a second, "My name is Sakura Haruno, I like..." She looked at Sasuke and giggled, eliciting an eye-roll from Takai, "I dislike Naruto-baka," Naruto looked crushed, "My dreams for the future," She looked at Sasuke again and giggled, "and my hobbies are..." cue giggle. Kakashi looked at Sasuke who was completely unaffected.

"My name is Sasuke Uchiha, I hate a lot of things and like very few things. My dream for the future is to kill a certain man. My hobby is training." Sasuke said before returning to his brooding. Sakura looked hyped up to hear about the boy.

Naruto went next, "My name is Naruto Uzumaki! I like Sakura, ramen, and training! I dislike Sasuke, the wait for the water to boil for ramen, and not pranking people. My dream for the future is to be the Hokage and my hobby is pranking people." He said excitedly.

Kakashi swung his gaze to Takai finally, "My name is Takai Tekkan. I like training. I dislike Sakura and Ino," He coughed comically, "I mean- fangirls, my dream for the future is to support Naruto and to help him become Hokage. My hobby is improving myself anyway possible." Sakura got up and reared her hand back to slap him before Kakashi spoke, glancing at her, causing her to stop mid-swing, "Well, that will be all for today. Show up to Training Ground 7 tomorrow for your test." Kakashi turned around and hopped onto the railing, preparing to leap away, "Oh, and don't have breakfast tomorrow, you'll vomit if you do." He said before jumping away

Takai spoke up immediately, "I'm calling it, he's baiting us so we go hungry and don't function as well." He said.

"But he's our sensei, why would he lie?" Sakura questioned to which Takai scoffed, "A ninja must see through deception. Think about it, even if he did show us something horrific like a gutted animal or even a genjutsu, we are going to see a lot worse on a daily basis. It would be better to leave it as a surprise." He explained. Naruto nodded along, a thoughtful expression on his face.

"So, you're telling me we should go out for ramen tomorrow morning?" Naruto asked hopefully to which Takai nodded.

"Well either way, I'm not eating because I'll get fat!" Sakura declared. Takai held his hand up and made a motion mimicking her while Sasuke just got up and left. Sakura got up to slap Takkai but he and Naruto just jumped from the roof. Takai turned in the air to give her a mocking two finger salute before disappearing over the edge. Sakura sighed in defeat.

Konoha Public Library

"C'mon Naruto. If you want to be Jonin you have to be proficient in at least two elements. If we start now, we can get two down and hopefully more." Takai said as they both walked into the library. They walked over to the shinobi section, tapping their headbands in front of the Chunin guarding the area before moving on.

Naruto put his hands together in the clone hand sign, "Kage Bunshin no Jutsu!" He declared as he created ten Naruto clones. "Alright! Find anything on..." He turned sheepishly to Takai, "What was it?"

Takai rolled his eye playfully, "Elemental manipulation, and ways to find our affinities. OH! And how to train those affinities, and if you can, some basic jutsus, D-ranks." The clones nodded and sprinted off through the section. Takai made one clone from the technique.

"Find whatever you can on fuinjutsu," He ordered his one shadow clone. He then remembered something the Hokage said, "Oh, and anything mentioning Jinchuriki." The shadow clone nodded.

After a few minutes sounds of bickering from Naruto's clones could be heard, "Shut up! I found it first!" One said while the other whined and attempted to grab a scroll from the clone. It went on for a few minutes before the whiny clone was forcibly dispelled by Naruto.

"Woah." Naruto said.

"Huh?"

"I just realized something."

"Oh! You have a brain? Oh my gosh! Let's see here, oh! Two brain cells, guess they knocked together that time." Takai said mockingly.

"Haha," Naruto said sarcastically, "But seriously, you know how when our clones get dispelled, we get their memories?"

Takai nodded.

"What if we us that to read a lot of books all at once?" He questioned, adopting a thinking pose.

"Well, I would be able to read one book at a time, and since the clones can use jutsu according to the Scroll of Seals and have their own chakra network, it should regenerate, we could have our clones make clones one at a time and thus read through ten books in two hours or practice fūinjutsu for two hours with eight clones and thus receive sixteen hours worth of experience." He looked at Naruto, "Or you can create one hundred clones and have them all read a book each." Takai totally wasn't jealous. Not. One. Bit.

"Good point! I don't even have to do any reading, its all these suckers!" He cackled.

Takai shook his head, "I thought you meant accelerating our training, not avoiding it by pushing it off onto a clone." He said mirthlessly.

"It can be used for both!" Naruto declared, finger to the sky.

That was when the clones returned, passing a stack of books that was depressingly small to Naruto and exactly one relatively thick book to Takai. He nodded as he dispelled his clone, Naruto doing the same to his but in bursts of three to avoid a headache.

"Alright well, let's head to my place and set up our clones so we can get this done. We can go do our physical training at the park." Takai said while Naruto struggled with the pile of books.

Takai's Apartment

Takai set the book on fuinjutsu aside for now as he did not have paper, ink, or a pen for using ink that way. He formed the clone hand sign and summoned a shadow clone," Go through and read a book on basic elemental manipulation." Takai ordered the clone while Naruto summoned ten and had them all read books on the same subject. Takai's eye twitched in jealousy.

"Alright...I suppose we can get some studying in as well." Takai said while Naruto groaned.

Takai grinned when he looked back to Naruto, "Or alternatively, we could race to the park to start creating our taijutsu style."

Naruto nodded brightly.

"Alright, you ready?" Takai asked, immediately taking off and leaving Naruto in the dust before he could answer. His clones jeered at him while the original Naruto sprinted after him. The mass of clones was still grumbling as they complained about the reading. The clone Takai sat there awkwardly.

Takai skipped across roof tops, slid under appliances like air conditioners, and over all just parkoured his way to the park. He vaguely heard Naruto sprinting behind him.

"GET BACK HERE YOU BASTARD!" Naruto screamed. Takai laughed as he made his way to the park. That was until he leapt off a roof top to street level and landed right in front of two people in green spandex.

'Oh no-' Takai thought as Maito Gai grabbed him and shook him while crying.

"SUCH YOUTH-!" He began before Naruto crashed into the pair. His mini-me was cheering and doing some sort of pose next to Gai, also yelling about youth.

He looked at Naruto.

"YOUR FIRES OF YOUTH ARE BURNING AS HOT AS THE SUN! I MUST DEMAND YOU JOIN ME AND MY APPRENTICE IN TRAINING!" Gai yelled "youthfully".

Takai began shaking his head vigorously until Naruto made one. Fatal. Mistake.

"Sure!" He said cheerfully with a thumb up.

'Naruto you dumb bastard, you doomed us.' Takai thought as Gai grabbed them both. They were in for one hell of a training session.

The next day, Training Ground 7

"My everything hurts." Naruto groaned as Takai nodded quietly, he too was experiencing intense exhaustion. But hey! They ate that morning, so they wouldn't be hungry at least. Takai knew Kakashi would be extra late today to make sure they would be even hungrier. Well, Sakura would be positively starving, they didn't know about Sasuke.

About two hours after 10 A.M, Kakashi finally showed. "YOU'RE LATE!" Sakura screeched at the man.

"Sorry about that guys, I saw a little old lady and I had to-" Kakashi started.

"Quit lying!" Sakura exclaimed, her stomach growling aggressively. She rubbed her belly as did Sasuke.

'Could Takai have been right?' Sasuke mused.

"Alright, I'm going to skip to the point. This is a test," He held up his hand, stopping Sakura from questioning him, "the test at the Academy merely judged who had potential, did you really think three jutsu would let you survive?" He shook his head. He reached towards his belt line and pulled out two bells, "Whoever gets these bells, passes and gets lunch, the other two, well..." He looked at them carefully, "...those two fail!" He said dramatically.

'No way am I going back to the Academy!' Sasuke and Sakura both thought at the same time.

Naruto looked at Takai worriedly only for him to wave it off, showing he had a plan. Naruto nodded confidently. Kakashi's eyes dwelled on Takai for a moment before he walked into the training field.

"You all have one hour starting now." Kakashi said, reaching into an off beige sack and pulled out one of his Icha Icha books and began to read.

Sakura and Sasuke immediately jumped off while Takai and Naruto charged Kakashi.

'I suppose its to be expected. At least these two show some teamwork.' Kakashi thought to himself as Takai went for spinning kick at his head and Naruto went to punch his gut. Kakashi ducked under Takai, standing up and body checking him away, then simply stepped around Naruto's punch, positioning behind Naruto, "Konohagakure Hidden Secret Taijutsu Jutsu: One Thousand Years of Death." Kakashi said seriously while forming his hands into a position resembling the tiger seal and thrusted forwards, intending on harming Naruto's backside. Naruto, cringing in expectation, was narrowly pushed out of the way while Takai got poked in the side by Kakashi.

'Putting himself on the line for his comrade, I like it.' Kakashi thought as he watched the two boys recover.

Takai and Naruto sprinted into the forest, "This is impossible to perform, there's some sort of trick here." Takai said as they tree hopped, mulling over Kakashi's words.

"He just said fail, not go back to the Academy." Takai said.

"So what would he be testing then, nitwit?!" Naruto exclaimed as they came to a stop on a branch together.

Takai looked down in thought before it hit him, "Teamwork." He said. Naruto's eyes widened.

"Damn! We're cooked then! There's no way we're going to get Sasuke and Sakura to work with us. Sasuke thinks I'm a dobe and Sakura will just go with him." Naruto complained.

Takai nodded along, "Well, Sakura is most likely going to go along with whatever her Sasuke'-kun' decides, so if we can convince him, we should be able to get something done." Takai planned.

Naruto shook his head, "Better than what I got. But we got this! Believe it!"

Takai nodded as the pair began searching for their other teammates.

Ten minutes later, somewhere in Training Ground 7

Naruto and Takai found Sasuke and Sakura together. Actually, more like Sakura desperately following the brooding boy. Sasuke was laying in a bush and staring so hard at Kakashi Takai was surprised there wasn't a fire in his hair. The duo silently settled on the branch above the Uchiha and the pink haired girl.

"Yo, Sasuke." Takai said.

The boy in question grunted in response.

"Me and Naruto figured out the purpose of the test." Takai said while Naruto nodded along, "He's trying to get us to work together."

Sasuke paused for a moment, then looked up at the duo. Sakura stared at Takai like he grew a second head.

"Yeah, yeah. Seems stupid, but isn't that the biggest thing stressed in the Academy? Teamwork?" Takai reasoned.

He watched a few different emotions flicker across Sasuke's face; Doubt, intrigue, and then realization. He then looked at Naruto. Takai could tell he was having an internal debate. "Fine. I'll work with you two." Sakura's mouth fell open.

Takai dropped down from his branch so he could be on eye level with the other two and began planning.

"So, what I got so far is..." He detailed out what he thought up on the way over. It wasn't much, but it should guarantee at least a shot at passing.

The group of four turned towards the lone Jonin in the clearing and started getting into position.

Once everyone was in position

Takai glanced around the clearing. He spotted the other three relatively easily. They stared at him, waiting for him to start the attack. He closed his eye and breathed in deeply before he readied his body to leap from the treeline. He sailed through the air, whipping out four kunai at Kakashi. The Jonin easily parried them with his bare hand.

Takai flew right over him and landed on the other side. He leaned down to the ground and dashed to be across from Naruto and nodded to him. Naruto burst from the bushes and they both threw off their coats and tore off their weighted vests. They held them in front of their bodies and began to charge at Kakashi. Sasuke ran from the treeline right then, cutting off another avenue of movement. Sakura was last as she had to go around. Naruto and Takai spun and threw their vests as hard as they could. They were millimeters from hitting the Jonin when he simply...wasn't.

The vests slammed together with a resounding clash of heavy metals and even gave a small burst of wind that someone would be able to feel if they were right next to the vests. All four Genin dashed to the vests and turned inwards, guarding each other's backs and looking around for Kakashi. Sasuke and Sakura both had kunai in hand while Naruto and Takai were unarmed.

Takai gasped when he felt hands grip his ankles so hard it hurt and dragged him into the soil. He cried out "Gah!" He looked to his teammates who had backed away a few paces. They all watched as Kakashi climbed out of the ground, leaving naught but a slightly off-colored patch of dirt from moist soil being dragged up.

He looked around to the three Genin and congratulated their efforts, "That was a good strategy, if I were another rank-and-file Chunin, that tactic would have worked nicely," The Genin sensed a but, "but I'm not just another Chunin." The man appeared in front of Sasuke, who attempted to perform the hand signs for his fireball jutsu, but had his hands grabbed by Kakashi who picked him up and spun him like a top above him, using him to hit Sakura in the face who had charged Kakashi from behind.

Takai's eyes widened as he observed such a casual defeat of two of their members. Kakashi then threw Sasuke into a tree head first, knocking him out soundly all before Naruto could even approach. The boy in question jumped at Kakashi with his fist raised, only to have it caught and thrown to the ground. Takai looked at him with a look of warning only to receive a sly wink in return.

Instantly, Takai felt his nerves settle. As Naruto got up he reached for a kunai and as he pulled it out, Takai noticed a little slip of paper bound to the ring on the end. He nearly gasped and gave away Naruto's plan. He practiced fuinjutsu on his own and managed to learn how to make explosive tags! He had likely being working at it for a long time.

Naruto channeled some chakra into the kunai, a bead of sweat forming on his forehead in concentration to ensure it wasn't noticeable. He waited as long as he could until he chucked the kunai at Kakashi who hadn't noticed the trick. He reached out to yank the kunai out of the air and throw it back at Naruto until he noticed the tag. His one eye widened fractionally as it blew up in his face. The tag was loaded with a massive amount of chakra. It threw dust easily thirty feet into the air and rocked the area...and made the air suspiciously sparkly.

Naruto dashed over to Sakura and began to help her and ensure she could keep fighting until he felt a hand grip his collar.

He looked behind him and saw a soot covered Kakashi...who also had rainbow colored glitter all over his body. Naruto chuckled nervously, "Okay, so-" until Kakashi chopped him in his neck, causing him to go limp. Sakura began to attempt to get up, but was snatched up as well, being carried like a sack of potatoes. Sasuke was still unconscious. Sakura kicked and screamed but it didn't affect Kakashi at all.

Ten minutes later

Sasuke awoke to the sight of Kakashi looking at him closely. He jerked away when he fully came to. He looked to his left and right, noticing the others also tied up, as well as Takai, who was covered in dirt. Sasuke looked back to the Jonin and saw that he was covered in soot and extremely shiny glitter. He barely kept himself from snickering and the Jonin's misfortune, which no doubt was Naruto's fault.

The others had downcast looks which Sasuke soon adopted as he remembered the situation, which took him a moment since he had likely been concussed: they had failed.

Kakashi took a step back and centered himself before the Genin failures. He inhaled audibly and clasped his hands together, "You pass." All four Genin looked up at the Jonin who had turned around and began walking off, "Show up outside this training ground again tomorrow." It was Sakura who realized something, "Hey! Whose going to untie us?!" She yelled at the Jonin. He held a hand up in goodbye and disappeared from sight. Naruto and Takai glanced at each other.

Takai flicked his wrist and felt a small hidden blade fall into his palm. He bent his wrist and cut the rope. He then moved over to Naruto and sliced his rope. The pair cut Sasuke and Sakura's ropes after Naruto drew a kunai before they put their blades away. Without a word, the pair walked over to their vests which they had thrown at Kakashi in their pincer movement.

They each picked up a vest and put it on. Then looked at each other.

Both kept a straight face for about thirty seconds. Naruto broke first and laughed high-fiving Takai as the two began to leave the training ground, talking about the test. Sakura stared while Sasuke took her lack of attention to slip away unnoticed. By the time she turned to talk to Sasuke, he was already gone with the wind. She once again sighed in defeat and began trekking home.

Takai's Apartment

The pair walked in on the sight of their clones bumming around Takai's apartment. His own clone was hard at work researching what the Hokage mentioned. It was still a bit off putting to see another him walking around.

Takai approached his clone, grabbing him by the shoulder and spinning him around, lashing out with a punch, breaking the clone's jaw and dispelling it. He felt the knowledge gained over the study session enter his mind. The book was actually extremely useful. It was a in-depth breakdown on some of the more simple seals such as storage seals and explosive seals. Unfortunately, Takai hadn't practiced either yet. He did at least have a decent understanding of them though.

He paused as he processed all of the information...the book briefly mentioned Jinchuuriki. It meant "The Power of Human Sacrifice". An interesting name. It was the status of whether or not someone had a Bijuu sealed inside of them- one of the great tailed-beasts. They wielded great power and were used as deterrent for aggressive actions since they were used as army killers.

Takai glanced at Naruto, who was currently arguing with his clones as they had consumed much of the ramen he had stockpiled in Takai's apartment. It quickly devolved into a fist fight amongst the Narutos. Takai looked back at the book on the table.

Surely Naruto was made unaware for a reason...right?
