In the middle of a random forest outside of civilization there was a three-story house made out of oak with a porch and a few windows. In a room, there was two figures sleeping on the bed. A young couple with the male sleeping soundly as the female hugged his head to her chest resting peacefully.

Suddenly the rays of the sun shined into the room causing the female to groan as the sunlight hit her slightly blinding her vision, and causing her to wake up. Grumbling, she let go of her right arm, stretched out and instinctively pulled the veils of the bed into her line of sight, blocking the rays of the sun and smiled at the contempt.

Suddenly, the alarm went off and she groaned once more but with anger, just as she was about to stop when something flew past her and hit the clock off the shelf, sent it crashing onto the floor and destroying it in the process. After that, she heard a grumble below her, come from her chest.

"Stupid clock." The male mumbled as the female shuddered and lightly moaned at the vibrations going through her chest.

"Hmhm, morning Bryce." Irina greeted, kissing his forehead while caressing his face.

"Irina, it's 5:45. Let me sleep." He mumbled from her chest as she giggled and started petting him.

"I know but if the alarm clock went off then that means we're having a visitor today." She said as he lifted his head from her bosom and glared at her.

"Who the hell would come visit us, two killers that have earned the ire of all factions?" He asked as she rolled her eyes.

"Well, Mr. Lady killer~" She joked while pinching his cheeks. "If you forgot, it's her that's visiting us."

"No thanks." He denied and went back into her chest, only to be lifted up again. "Irina, I'm not going to play nice with her."

"Now now, don't be such a stick in the mud. I know you two don't get along due to your well first encounter but that doesn't mean you shouldn't cooperate with each other if necessary." Irina stated.

"Tell that to the Ice Queen." He grumbled before he sat up fully and rolled over to the side of the bed as Irina did the same thing. "I just hope today's mission or contract or whatever she wants us to do isn't too long, the less time I spend with her the better."

"That's the best I'm going to get out of you, isn't it?" She thought as he just nodded his head in agreement.

"Yep."

"Come on, let's freshen up and then get breakfast." She said as she got up and pulled the covers off her body and they both went into the bathroom. Coming face to face in a mirror they both revealed themselves.

Irina is beautiful young woman with a curvy body, long chestnut hair that was currently sprawled behind her back and violet eyes. She was currently in her black bra and matching panties, on the left side of her neck there was a scar and she gently trace her finger over it.

Bryce was a young man average skinny man but well-built, he had scars all over his body. Scratch marks and cuts along his forearms and legs from torture, stabbings all over his torso and the huge scar that ran across his back from his right shoulder to his left hip. He stared at his body saying nothing until he felt a smooth hand trace his scar causing him to flinch at the sudden touch before turning and glared at his assailant.

"Dammit, Irina. I've told you that I'm still sensitive there." He growled at the playful chestnut.

"Sorry, sweetie." She apologized with a bashful gaze, only to grab his hand and placed it on her neck. "If you want, you can do the same to me… maybe a little more~" She finished in a seductive tone as she moved his hand to her right breast. The said boy let out a small growl wanting to take her but controlled himself and moved his hand out of her hold.

"You and your freaking, lust." He whispered while looking away as she giggled at him. After both teens freshen themselves, they were now in the living room. Irina was in the kitchen making breakfast while Bryce was sitting at a glass coffee table watching the news on the tv. Other than the local weather report, nothing really new to report as the media didn't have anything exciting. However, he knew better that was just the normal everyday life that goes on, and he wasn't really surprised that they didn't mention off the killings that he and Irina had committed the other night with those three men. Then again, it's not the first time that they've done something like that they've been doing it for months but none of it ever made the news, which was better for them but at the same time very boring since they can't watch panic and concern flash across numerous faces as they were waiting for when it would be safe to roam the streets.

However, they always forget to mention that the people they killed are corrupt beings of man, those that like to see society as a den full of useless sheep waiting to be devoured by coyotes. While the two teens are chaotic and like to cause anarchy, they still have morals. Somewhat.

"Doesn't look like they'll mention anything about the killings…. Again." He said in exasperation.

"Of course they won't." Irina agreed. "The police would try and keep things like that as quiet as they can and that's if they can keep it away from the media, who are literally cockroaches that don't know when to quit." She said while spraying some black pepper.

"Well, the reporters are more annoyances than the police. They only interact to come up with a story and get fame the easy way with sweet lies and fabricated truths all to get some drama, whether it's to start rumors or not, they always find a way to ruin someone's social life for their own benefit." Bryce stated as he crossed his arms and leaned his head back into the couch.

"Truth." Irina agreed as she turned off the stove and went into the fridge. "Hey, do you want coffee or orange juice?"

"Coffee is fine." He mumbled while flipping through channels. He then heard a sound come from the window, looking over to his right, where there was a door that led to the patio, he saw a black cat staring at him with amber eyes as it pawed at the glass door, indicating that it want to come in. He walked up to the glass door grabbed the curtain and immediately closed it.

"Who was that?"

"No one important." He dismissed while heading back to the couch and then heard scraping along the glass door causing him to frown but he ignored it. Irina then came in with their plates full of food setting it on the table before sitting next to him.

"Breakfast is served." She announced as she gave him his plate.

"So, we got biscuits with sausage n gravy, scrambled eggs and coffee while you have waffles with topped whipped cream, strawberries and fruit bowl with orange juice. Not a bad choice." Bryce commented as he took the coffee and instantly drank it down, not even flinching at the sensation of a having a burned throat.

"How do you always do that?"

"Do what?"

"Not getting your tongue or mouth burned?" She questioned.

"I've been tortured on my entire body for 6 years straight before meeting you, not to mention I had pain asymbolia so I can't really feel anything." He stated while eating his food.

"I forgot about that. Still, you must be able to feel some form of pain."

"I did, I couldn't really touch or taste anything for a while, until one day I just collapsed. I was out for maybe a day or so and then suddenly when I woke up, all of my senses were heightened and that was when I realized that I got these powers." He explained as his hand shifted from normal into a long-arm blade before going back to normal.

"Ah, no wonder you're so sensitive." Irina nodded in understanding while tracing a hand on his neck but slowly this time and then moved to inside his shorts and touch his crotch causing him to flinch a bit before glaring at her.

"Really, aren't you supposed to be an angel?" He asked as she rolled her eyes.

"I haven't been one since my supposed falling and if I recall I'm between the two." Irina stated.

"I'll say." He agreed before placing his hand on her breast and gave it a squeeze causing her to moan loudly while her cheeks flushed. "You're quite the screamer."

"You do that again, and I swear I'll fuck your brains out right now." She threatened as he rolled his eyes.

"Yeah, yeah, same old same old." He dismissed with his hand while she stuck her tongue out at him playfully before going back to her food. Suddenly both of them were caught off guard when a black cat had emerged out of nowhere and made its way to the top of the tv.

"Why, is there a cat on the TV?" Irina wondered as Bryce eyes narrowed as he walked over to the curtain where he opened it and saw a circle cut in the glass.

"Goddamit! Kuroka!" Bryce growled at the cat who let out a human laugh and spoke.

"Aw, is someone mad that I broke into their house again~" The cat teased before it glowed and transformed into a human woman wearing a kimono that showed off her cleavage.

"I would like it you if stop breaking and entering." He grumbled while fixing the glass door.

"Kuroka, what are you doing here so early?" Irina asked.

"Oh, well I'm here to fuck your husband~" She teased before moving her head away as a light spear was thrown at her and crash into the tv.

"Bitch, answer the question before I fucking rip you apart!" Irina threatened as Bryce sighed into the background at the tv destroyed.

"There goes another one." He commented.

"Oh relax, I'm not that horny… unlike you I can control my urges." Kuroka said earning a growl from Irina who summoned another light weapon this time in the form of a ballista with multiple arrows aimed at the feline.

"Five seconds."

"Please don't destroy the house." Bryce said.

"Alright, I'm here because Lady Yasaka is asking for help." Kuroka said her face turning serious.

"Lady Yasaka?" Irina called out in confusion as she put away her weapons.

"This better not be another job where I have to babysit Kunou… again." Bryce said.

"No, it's more like a search and destroy mission." Kuroka clarified. "There's been bodies of humans turning up over the course of two weeks all over in Kuoh. Most of them being males and a few women."

"Shouldn't this be a job for the so-called devils, since they're the ones that have the most contact with humans in that area?" Bryce asked while trying to fix the tv.

"Well, Lady Yasaka doesn't exactly trust them and neither do I not after the fallout due to well… the actions of my former king."

"Yeah, who was a complete power-hungry shit stain of a human being that got what he deserved." Bryce insulted as Irina agree.

"Now he's down in hell singing with the demons where he's forever bound to the eternal torture for his sins~" Irina sung.

'Though his death resulted in the hunt for every nekomata.' Kuroka thought in anger before taking a breath and calmed down.

"That may be true but thanks to his death, it made the old fossils upset that someone like a nekomata would willing betray their king and immediately ordered the execution of every nekomata for no fucking reason and instead of just asking on why I did it or at least search for any evidence on what he was doing, they just went ahead and took action." Kuroka stated before looking at the two teens across from her with a small smile.

'However, thanks to you two, my kind was saved and sent to a location only those of the youkai trustworthy enough to know.' She thought about the other nekomata and how they were living at the moment until the heat died down, mostly until her innocence is proven. That includes her sister, but she knows that the latter is doing well… at well as she can be, she still didn't know the truth about her sister or their king since she was still too young to understand, and she hated her sister for leaving her. Still, it was better than having her hunted or dead and Kuroka would gladly endure it. Not wanting to get back in memory land, she cleared her throat.

"Anyway, most of the humans in Kuoh that wound of dead seem to be random, gender or age doesn't matter." She said trying to get back on topic. "Adults, teens, elder, children, you name it."

"Normally I wouldn't care for this shit, but since we need door and tv…" He trailed off glaring at both girls Irina playfully bonking herself on the head and sticking her tongue out while Kuroka giggled at his irritation. "…. Might as well take it." He said while picking up the tv opening the window and tossed out to outside where it would hit the ground and explode.

"So…" He motioned for Kuroka to continue.

"Right, well she wants us to go ahead and start searching in Kuoh." Kuroka said as she went ahead and started explaining the details of what Yasaka while Irina and Bryce listened and at the same time had a plan of their own. As long as they got to cause some form of chaos then that's all that matters. Looks like they'll also have to tell their visitor that they'll have to cancel or make another appointment.

In another place, at the prestigious school known as Kuoh Academy in a room labeled student council, there was an adolescent girl sitting at a desk filled with papers all revolving around people being killed in Kuoh, both day and night.

At first, she thought it was a demon or devil that may have went rogue against their masters or fallen angels or angels that may have moved into territory but this was different, the way each person was killed told her that this wasn't ordinary.

Sona Sitri leaned back as she pinched her upper brow in frustration. It's been two weeks since the killings happened and she hasn't gotten a single clue on who was being targeted. All of these victims were literally random at chance and it didn't matter what time of day it was… they were just being killed out of nowhere and it was frustrating her. She was in charge of the day shifts while her companion was in charge of the night shifts but neither of them seem to be getting close.

She was supposed to be smart and setting up an example for the next generation of devils since she wanted to make a school around all devil classes, high mid and low, even those with no demonic power at all but were born into a devil family… but how can she become that if she can't handle protecting people in territory.

'Well shared territory… since Rias owns the other half thanks to her brother but let's not get into that.' Sona thought as she needed to take a breather as this case was making her lose it. She took a small breathing exercise that she didn't realize that someone was beside her and gently gave her a tap on the shoulder.

"Sona." The said girl looked up and saw her best friend Tsubaki Shinra, queen to her peerage and second in command when she's not around.

"Yes, Tsubaki is there something you need?" Sona asked.

"It's not what I need…" She trailed off as she picked up the papers and photos from the desk and placed them back in the folder. "… it's what you need."

"Hm?" Sona tilted her head in confusion.

"Sona, you need a break."

"Tsubaki, I—"

"An actual break." Tsubaki clarified while looking at her king with a firm gaze. "You've been skipping out on meals and avoiding sleep, while you have been keeping up appearances your welfare is important." She stated.

"Tsubaki, I will take a break once we get this devil or whoever is responsible for all of these killings. It was one thing if it was a devil but this, this isn't normal. All of these victims were killed by something that I'm not even sure is what you can call a person, if anything they are far from it." Sona said her voice calm but laced with venom in the end. Tsubaki then walked over and placed a hand on Sona's shoulder causing the latter to look up at her and was met with worried eyes.

"Sona... I know you want to stop this killer, but you can't do that with a distracted mindset. You're being too hard on yourself thinking that you have to do this, but this is our responsibility as well, Rias, Akeno, our peerage and mine. We're all responsible for what happened to those people, it's not your burden to carry alone." Tsubaki said in a sincere tone.

Hearing those words made Sona take a moment to think and then looked down as she realized that her queen was right. Now that she thought about it, she has been a little more uptight than usual around her peerage and childhood friends, and she hasn't been exactly eating much only what was necessary for her to get through the day, focus on schoolwork and then head straight back to this matter. Maybe her queen was right, maybe she needed to take a step back.

"You… you might be right, Tsubaki." Sona answered as she took off her glasses. "Forgive me, I've haven't been myself lately. This case with the stray or whoever this is has been on my mind so much that it's effecting my head, and now my behavior towards you." She said before standing up and gave her a bow. "I apologize for what I've been doing to everyone, and I want to make up for it."

Tsubaki instead shook her head and gave her king a soft smile.

"There's no need Sona. You put too much pressure on yourself, and we all see how stressed you are when you get frustrated. So for the rest of day, I want you go home and rest, and tomorrow as well since it is the weekend."

"Tsubaki, I don't think…" Sona started in an unsure tone but was stopped when her queen gave her a blank stare.

"You've already finished your homework for all classes today and then went straight to this, I think you deserve a break. Don't make me use force or call your sister." Tsubaki threatened causing the latter to let out a small shudder.

"Please don't, she's the last person in the world that I want to worry and we both know how protective of me she is." Sona sighed before looking at her queen. "Okay, I'm heading straight home. I trust you'll be able to take care of things while I'm out?"

"Of course, things will still be here when you return." Tsubaki answered.

"Hai, have a good day Tsubaki." Sona said as a circle appeared underneath her and she teleported out of the SC room to her home, once she was gone Tsubaki let out a sigh of relief.

"Finally, she's taking a break."

"Is she gone?" A redhead asked with her head peered in the door as Tsubaki nodded her head.

"Yes, I was finally able to get her to go home and rest."

"That's good, I was really worried about her." The redhead said as she came into the room with a relieved smile on her face with another girl alongside her. "Sona hasn't been herself these days, and the way she was going, I was ready to come and take her home myself."

"Oh, is our Rias in love with our fellow student council president Sona? Do I see a romance in the air~?" The girl next to Rias teased as the redhead gave her a glare and a small chop to the head.

"Shut it, Akeno. I'm only concerned that's all." Rias denied while not noticing the small breath of relief that Tsubaki released.

"Aw, you're no fun." Akeno said still smiling like nothing happened. "That being said, this stray problem has been taking its toll on her I think a two-day break from this is what she exactly needs."

"Right, though I'm pretty sure she's determined to go back to this as soon as she comes back, however I don't want her to start avoiding her health again to do so."

"That's what her peerage is here for." Tsubaki said. "I'm sending Reya and Tomoe to watch over her for the night until I get there, so I'm finishing up our duties for the day then heading over." She stated.

"That's good. Make sure to help her relax and keep her mind off anything work related."

"I will." Tsubaki nodded her head.

"Now that's taken care of, we need to get going as well since a certain someone wants to go shopping in the morning for anime." Akeno teased as Rias gain a small blush.

"There's some new merchandise coming out and it's limited edition, so I want to be the first one there when they open." Rias admitted as Akeno giggled.

"You're so adorable when you blush Rias, it makes me want to eat you up~" Akeno teased.

"Shut up, Akeno~" Rias shouted while turning around and headed straight for the door. "See on you later, Tsubaki."

Akeno winked at her fellow queen before following her king out the door leaving Tsubaki alone who giggled at the interaction between the two. She then looked down at the folder in her arms and thought back to the problem.

'Whoever this person is, I want to make them pay for putting Sona through so much stress. We will find whoever they are and stop them.' Tsubaki thought as she opened up a cabinet and put the folder inside before closing it.

'But for some reason… I get the feeling that I might not be the only one who feels that way.' She finished and resumed to doing her tasks for the day to finish up, unaware that she was being watched. Up on top of the ORC building watching her through the window was a cloaked hooded figure with tatters around the edge and glowing red eyes.

They stared at her for a few more seconds before sitting up on the tip of the needle and then vanish into a cloud of smoke, disappearing into thin air.
