Chapter 55

Well I've been running from something. Down a road that's leading me nowhere.

Could I kiss you and make you a queen?

Or something in between.

I was exactly 22 weeks pregnant. On the day before our wedding.

Truthfully i couldn't sleep. Lucas made it a point to get everything we needed for the wedding done and i've been able to focus in on my pregnancy and bonding with Sawyer.

I never thought or saw life turning this way. The twist and turns i truly believed maybe it was too much to get through and move forward from. But clearly life had other plans.

And i am ready to become Mrs. Scott. A mother to Sawyer and the baby growing inside me from the love Lucas and I share.

Ted and Victoria always made me believe happy endings were not possible. Yet i was. Getting what i had dreamed of.

After a big breakfast. The three started to get ready for the wedding. Neither Brooke or Lucas believed in not seeing each other before the wedding.

The three eventually left together. On the way to where the wedding was taking place.

Sky Retreat. Enjoy the views of the Blue Ridge Mountains under the open sky.

The wedding was going to be private and personal.

Lucas made his way down the aisle. By his side. Was Nathan. Mouth. Skills. On Brooke's side was Rachel. Haley.

When the doors opened. Brooke began to walk down the aisle with Sawyer by her side.

Once they got to the end. Sawyer joined. Rachel and Haley.

While Brooke and Lucas were beside each other.

"We are gathered here today to witness the union of Lucas Eugene Scott and Brooke Penelope Davis." The minister started to say.

With emotion thick in his voice. Lucas said his vows.

Slipping the ring on Brooke's finger.

With tears falling from her eyes. She said her vows.

"Remember these words. The promises you are making. The love."

"By the power vested in me and the state of North Carolina."

"I now pronounce you husband and wife." He proclaimed.

Brooke smiled into the kiss. Lucas kissed her softly then kissed her again.

As Mr. and Mrs. Scott made their way down the aisle together.
