Timeline: The week after Past and Present

Synopsis: After moving to the Atlantis outpost, now resembling the ship to his favorite tv show, Daniel Jackson embarks upon a mission to ensure the safety and stability. To protect Earth, after finding the device meant to bring alter ego of the Ancients. And to the Milky Way Galaxy, only now a new threat has emerged in the form of the SG's 1 and 3 desperation to protect themselves from the Kingdom of Queen Shyla.

As they and the NID have become a severe threat, to him, his new team and command, and most of all. To his new family, as the medical department prepare assign him to the SGA, and second him. And on a mission of trade with the Goa'uld, one that will ultimately decide the fate of Earth. And as he greets his own destiny, and in the form of the Ancients, as he becomes the leader of the Earth side of the Fifth Race.

Warnings: This story is going to continue to match the dialog, in the flashback memories, of chapter 4, of the past meets the present series. As it also follows the complete mental breakdowns, of the human half of the team. And Robert Makepeace and Adam Johnson, so the story is going to follow the dialog to the letter. Along with some new dialog that was not in the fast forwarded portion in the flashbacks.

With this chapter it's going with the U.N.'s announcement to the rest of the planet, that Daniel has found the device, and collected a bounty worth close to undecillion now, in gold, silver and jewels, as the texts from the collection, are passed to scholars that read Latin, as everyone can educate themselves in Ancient language. As Daniel prepares for him mission to return to Shyla's planet, as he waits for the delivery.

Basing this in real time, rather then the show, of 25 years ago, Antarctica was a neutral zone for research so military research was not allowed out there. And with it, as the chair is considered military technology, it was meant to be last resort. In case of another orbital attack, so the outpost is now trade and exploration here. Also with this chapter Daniel is telling the public, the SGA has reactivated now, and with it.

That he's working trade to bring in more improvement for the planet at large now, so a military attack to bring him back to the states, is attempted, is an international. In incidents and enough to get them convicted for kidnapping now, with his clearance. So from here, is he's dropping in on Ry'ac and Drey'auc and before the press conference. And just before his first stop in planets is to Gaea, home of the Nox.

As the mission was sanctioned, and he was transferred to Landry and the Atlantis team at the time. As Rodney McKay, Cam Mitchell, Vala Mal Doran, Hank Landry, Frank Simmons, Steven Caldwell, John Shepard. And Elizabeth Weir enter the picture here, the story will have Daniel and Teal'C joining their team. As the SGA is founded 5 years early, and moved into the outpost on earth….

Chapter 1: The Mission Begins, The Nox And The Tok'ra

The U.N.:

Getting on the international press com, the British Ambassador Ivor Roberts made his announcement then. "Just hearing back from the Enterprise expedition team, Colonel Jackson reported success. That he has found the device meant to unlock the door, between our galaxy and the Ori, and with it. The treasure trove discovered is 985 Decillion in gold, silver and jewels, so monetary amounts are solved and for the expedition team, where his discoveries lead us."

"Only time will tell, all we can do it pray and hope for the best, that the system lords take our offer, because if they don't and the NID and the SGC CIA keep provoking them…" he said and they nodded as Major General George Hammond nodded in stern agreement. "And that's the end of this game, you guys need to leave well enough alone." he said sternly and Lieutenant General, Drs. Darrel Matheson, Dillon Warren and Adam Parker nodded sternly in agreement.

The SGA/The Enterprise-Daniel POV:

After a mission of success, the enthusiasm was flying high for the outpost, as they settled into their lives together, after only a week together. The ship crew had become family, and they were like the crew themselves after a only 2 weeks in now. The command was now officially activated and on its feet, and the missions had activated. As the missions were no more then a week long, one or two teams at a time, as they now all saw Landry as a great commander.

That it was like they been together 18 months, the base was like family now, as Lieutenant Colonel, Dr. Daniel Jackson prepared to head for La Rochelle then, as he packed his work clothes. And the level amount of vitamins necessary that Warner wanted him to take right then as he recovered. "You got everything right now, because the mission starts today Dan." Colonel Andrew 'Andy' Dixon said to him then and he nodded smiling then.

"Yeah I'm ready right now, I'll be fine." he said and Dixon smiled and patted his shoulder. "Alright Cam with me, the three of us are doing this together." Daniel said and they nodded, as they, Major Cameron Mitchell and Dr. Jennifer Keller went through the gate, and they arrived on Gaea as they walked to the Nox village and they smiled. "Hello Lya, been a long time." he said and she smiled gently, knowing her student decided to drop in now finally.

"Indeed, what's going on, if you came to visit exactly, and where are Captain Carter and Colonel O'neill?" she asked him then gently then and he sighed and shook his head, as he said it gently as he sat down then. "It's about your technology actually right now, not retrieval, but rather theft now, but you been getting robberies, from any soldiers?" he asked and they nodded. "We spotted several soldiers, a woman and 5 men dressed in grey, they stole several items.l

"That we carry." Anteaus said and he nodded sternly then. 'There we got, they were here, alright where you idiots exactly, were you waiting for me to arrive, so you can arrest me right now.' he thought to that news then. "Neumann and his unit, yeah about that, I quit the SGC and exposed the Military mindset of the program. Neumann's using you for bait, Lya, I don't know who the others are, well Makepeace and O'neill went NID, they, in truth."

"Harbor that belief, that if you're not going to share, they take, regardless of interplanetary diplomacy here, but in exchange for us getting your stuff back. And arresting these guys, we wish for blue prints instead, stuff breaks down. That once we create it to Earthling standards, it's now in the hands of the SGA, I finally cracked it. it's you, the Nox and I just cracked the third, the Ancients." he said and they nodded.

"We can accept that, for getting it back and arresting them, we offer the anti grav servos, and our stealth technology, in blueprints now Dr. Jackson." she said and he nodded smiling. "Make that Colonel Jackson actually, my father, if he was alive would be like the General, a two star. But I'm working for the SGA and Teal'C defected departments now with me, these are our new team mates." he said and they nodded.

"Very well, I assume you need the coordinates to Tollana, so you can speak to Omac?" she asked and he nodded. "Indeed I do, I never changed a bit, still me, your favorite student, my Master." he said and she smiled in affection."Indeed my apprentice, you learned much in a short time, I'm very proud of you right now. Alright, with knowing you're searching out our thieves location now, we can insure if O'neill is involved."

"But remember, if the offer is too good to be true, take serious caution, if they want military technology, from you, is your 5 questions. As you never get involved in the affairs of other planetary problems, as you knew better. That if has to do with the elements, then ask questions, if their enemy is like you diversitized. And all you seen so far is your skin color's type's, ask questions, and then immediately abort now."

"You can find a new spot, and get progress done without destroying yourselves spiritually to do so, always remember this now." he said and Daniel nodded smiling "Yes Master, well we're staying for the night, but could you help find the new Tok'ra home base. As we're making a visit to see General Carter next, before he leaves on his mission, if he has one." he said and she nodded with a smile of affection then, as they spent the night there as after a restful night.

They got up and prepared to leave then. "Yeah now this is what I call camping, like being in a KOA, but if they prefer pretending to be in a warzone. This appeals to our tastes right now, rather then whatever Jack saw as fun right now." Keller said and he nodded with a chuckle. "I know, missions to our perspective, we get a break from being in constant warzones now, and really bring in the goods." Dixon said smiling as he stuck close to them.

"You sleep well, Daniel?" Lieutenant Colonel Teal'C Thomas Martell asked and he nodded smiling as they stretched and got up, as they had breakfast with them, before heading back for the gate, and Lya smiled. "I found them, they're on Vorash, Colonel, here are the coordinates."she said, as she wrote down the coordinates for him, and he smiled. "Thank you Lya, we appreciate the help now, see you soon now." he said and she nodded as she hugged him, as Teal'C dialed there next.

"Indeed see you soon Lya, Anteaus, we thank you for your help." He said and they nodded smiling, as they went through and went in the direction, they would expect an ambush. As 5 Tok'ra appeared and he smiled. "Nice way in the trap door spider act, Martouf, Lena, Darred, Alec, just waiting for Teal'C and me to drop in, are we guys." he said smiling and the Tok'ra smiled, as the team chuckled, and the leader smiled, at the playful tone gently then.

"Dr. Jackson, Teal'C, been a while, what can we do for you." he asked and he smiled at him then gently. "Yeah I missed you too man, it's great to see you again." he said, shaking his hand and he smiled in affection. "You too my dear friend, Teal'C, so I assume something happened finally here?" he asked and they nodded. "Machello's legacy, and Colonel O'neill finally crossed the line, he's been committed, Shyla saved Daniel once again." Teal'C said and Martouf nodded.

"At ease Cameron, they're the Tok'ra members we made friends with, their leader is called Yosuf." he said and Cam relaxed immediately. "Lena, Darred, Alec, good to see you, and you old friend thanks again, for letting us drop in." Daniel said and Martouf nodded smiling as he shook his hand."Good to see you Doctor, and you as well Teal'C, let me guess, the Nox traced our signatures here?" he asked and Daniel nodded gently to him.

"Is Jacob here, we need to talk to him, Yosuf and your leader." he said and they nodded. "You just made it actually, General Carter is preparing to leave." a female Tok'ra said smiling gently and he nodded to her in relief."Where's he going exactly?" he asked and they heard Major General Jacob Carter call that out to him. "I'm on a mission to Netu right now son, hey Teal'C, it's good to see you guys again." he said and Daniel smiled as he hugged him then gently.

And he tightened his arms. "Lord you look like hell baby, what the hell is going on at home exactly?" Major General Jacob Carter asked and he sighed. "The job just took a turn for the worst Sir, I transferred sectors, and Teal'C came with right now. Sam's been committed for psychiatric evaluation right now, pending attempted murder charges." he said and he nodded in shock. "Dare I ask why?" he asked him and he explained that remark then.

"Remember Linda's schizo effective, she was desperate to get out of the hospital to save Eddie now, before she got some added help, with Arnold's double coming into the picture?" he asked and Jacob nodded. "You're the kid, she became Linda after drinking the elixir, she's crazy jealous to the point of stalker now huh, well now, alright Colonel. Then tell whoever has her as his patient, until she starts thinking straight, she's staying put." he said and Dixon nodded sternly.

"This involves the sarcophagus, she's convinced that her version of the events last year, my remark to Yosuf and Martouf is the only one that matters. And this past 6 months, they first tried to use Machello to have me committed, followed by. Now, trying to set me up for attempted suicide, only that too backfired now. Thanks to the medical care given to me, by Pyrus's apothecary, all created with a sarcophagus."

"But the SGC put me on suicide watch, but Shyla's medical care concoctions, just reversed that to attempted murder. Jack got caught, his key and his switchblade, were found at my apartment, and with him being arrested for psyche evaluations. Was Makepeace and Johnson, they're all hung up on Hathor." he said and he nodded. "George and Jerry reassigned you, to Alex huh, son." he said in understanding and Daniel nodded.

"Yeah they did, the team just fell apart, remember the phone call, I made to you, not you specifically, but to you, Selmak, over the sarcophagus. Well she's still convinced my change of personality was exposure to it now." he said and his eyes flashed. "I see right now, alright I can delay my mission for a month, and we can talk. As you're my father, the memory just came back finally, only you were dressed as a Roman."

"Which was our queen's chosen persona, but then you always were my favorite human out of the SGC officers I met. It was good to hear from you, before you met us for real right now, but quite frankly she's cheating. By digging into Jolinar's memories on symbiote care of Jaffa right now here." he said and froze and looked Daniel gently. "Thank you for telling me that Danny, I needed that now, what happened now exactly."

"As I remember reading the report on your grandfather, after Jerry saw fit to alert me, that the Professor worked the program himself. Looking between the 2 records, I call that absurd on Nick's theory, your's always made more sense to me here. But trying to get it working twice, in a dilapidated ziggurat is suicide, based on Darryl. Adam and Dillon's opinion, let me guess, you walked into another contaminated area here now."

"But her arrogance results in acting like she knows everything, Yosuf later told me, that Jolinar is not a real Tok'ra, but the minor of Cronus, before switching sides. So you're calling Selmak and gaining that information, I never been more furious. At the flood of information he left in my head, over that phone call." he said and he nodded. "Well question, as I need some advice as you're like dad, a 2 star general of the 60's."

"And doing trade." he said and Jacob nodded. "Dad, you mean George, you're calling George Dad now, I understand we're the closest thing to a father you can get. And you love us as a son to his father, I understand you miss Mel right now, in truth. Rob contacted me, this was why I tried to get her to tell me the truth now. But when she still refused, that's why I started pulling away from her." he said and they both paled.

"Sure son, shoot." he said and he nodded. "What's your opinion of getting involved without the 5 questions right now here. And they're asking for deuterium, only that: no supplies exactly?" he asked and Jacob crossed his arms and she paled. "I call that illegal, we don't go getting involved without the who, what, where. When and why, as us generals, back then Majors know, deuterium is used to create to atomic bombs."

"That we thought we were offering humanitarian aid, not military technology here, that whatever is being offered, is not worth the price of our souls. And not when their enemy is possibly as diversitized as we are, and to top it off, if they're all caucasian. We're looking at a more advanced version to WWII, but if you find something you don't like, call it a dried well, and we can pick up the slack, by giving you a mission."

"An opportunity that is worth the same amount as what was offered, I can come visit with said opportunity. Nothing's changed, if they're finished setting up the gate, if you dragged the alpha gate elsewhere. I can alert George to what I told you right now, and he knows you found me and are staying 2 weeks." he said and and he nodded sternly, relieved he told him that, now knowing if Sam started arguing, he had a good excuse right now, her father already handing it

Then, to him. "They promoted me to Lieutenant Colonel and reassigned Hank Landry, you know him?" he asked and Jacob smiled and nodded. "Like your traveling party, the three of us and Peter Ferretti did the same right now. As Lou was Mark's best friend as a preteen, we transferred to Queens in August '73." he said to him then. "I knew you looked familiar, General, add the 27 years to the 8 year old sandy blonde haired, blue eyed little boy, who do you see exactly.

"Better yet, just take the 25 years off me?" he asked and he closed his eyes watched, as said child start de-aging, as he started turning familiar and he smiled in delight. "Danny, Danny Jackson, well it's been a long time, I missed you kiddo." he said smiling and he smiled and nodded. "Hold on, what she do this time exactly, if you quit the baseline program, after Kenny exactly?" he asked sternly and he nodded. "Sha're." he said and Martouf covered his eyes.

"Jolinar was offering her knowledge to get you to trust us, before you found us, I take it she found it, and decided not to tell you, and that's why. You were asking us, every time we dropped by, after she left Abydos, if we had any news on her whereabouts. Oh I'm sorry Colonel, we didn't make in time, she's..?" he asked and he nodded. "It was after she judged the value of her life, the way Machello judged mine right now as I became you General, remember now."

"In what you would tell me, if we had to do recon, as if Sarah gets it next, you know I'm determined to get her back, are you looking. And for anymore system lords on Earth?" he asked and they nodded sternly to the news then. "That no life is more important then anyone else's, but that is the most cold bloodiest thing I ever heard, why would she…, oh wait don't tell me. She walked into Pyrus's kingdom, drank the elixir and got snatched, yes, this is inexcusable."

"Right now, well, if we're going to Yu's slave farm now later, I can assign them to being a couple. As she deals with being in close range, of the lunatic that is Jack O'neill on the short fuse. You never did anything wrong, you just did our questioning for us, it doesn't matter. How much pressure for results is coming from DC, we never stop our morality. If Lya gave that training advice, I'm enforcing it right now, but we don't go getting involved without the who, what."

"Where, when and why, find something out of place, then allow your internal trouble meter to go off and start asking questions here son, in truth. And screw you're being out spoken to the leader of the team, you had more experience in trade deals. As you said this is not over, in the objections, and you're right, it never will be, if he aids them. And goes against direct orders, he and whoever got involved, if my daughter happens to be it, is being court martialed."

"For it." he said gentl and Daniel smiled at the encouragement and she and Jack went white at his remark then. "I was just promoted to 3 star, before I became a host here son, as such, if George can't do anything in the advice catch, well I can. And here's my orders, if they pull you back in, during your vacation right now, and I happen to be why. But disregard, what they're against you about, if you're the negotiator, not them on trading, I want you to learn more."

"About who their enemy is now, why they want that fuel and why now, they're hedging the answers, we only have their word, we need the other side of the war, if there is no gate, in their territory, we drop off an orbital one. And you can fly to their sector, and get that information, if, as I said they're white. And supremacists, this means their enemies are like us, as diversitized as you can get." he said and Daniel nodded to the orders, knowing Jack ane Sam then, finally.

Were going to panic as he answered him. "Yes Sir, uh Sir, regarding Sarah, if she becomes a host now, to whoever, in symbiote form it is, do you know what happened to Osiris?" he asked and he crossed his arms at the question then gently as he answered him, knowing he needed it "I know that he got torn out of his previous host, stuffed in a canopic jar, in his sarcophagus. Isis with him, and dumped in the river, but beyond that I don't know, why.., oh wait don't tell me."

"They're studying the Stewart expedition, and the expedition leaders could find him?" he asked and Daniel nodded. "Exactly right now, if Osiris returns I'm telling him the truth, I killed his brother, Ra, Hathor and Sokar, if he's next on the list. As well as Artemis at the moment right now, as if the jar was damaged, Isis is dead. Though I'm praying she was a queen so we killed 3, in 4 years right now." he said and they nodded.

"Indeed and point taken right now, that's the best way of population control: kill the queens, but finding Egeria is top priority to us, to re-energize our grouping now." Martouf said gently and he nodded in agreement."Yeah we leave her and Morrigan alive, the others we can destroy and their numbers start fading, but you guessed right. Both Isis and Amonet are a queen, we should be killing queens." Jacob said and he nodded.

" I think you trained me better then you thought General, you and dad are like Picard." he said and Jacob smiled at the compliment. " I see that and you're Wes and Will rolled into one, a young officer destined for greatness. But if you started 15 years ago, you'd be making Colonel, and by the end of next year, son. But XO, you're my XO, like you're George, the quintet and Hank's." he said and Daniel smiled at the remark then.

"As for the area of questioning, and what got lifted, yeah we got to talk about that, after you said the touchstone got lifted last year. We had 10 items get stolen from various planets we're running missions on right now." he said and Daniel nodded sternly. "That makes 2, Lya said they been robbed as well, next question are the Tollan and Asgard being robbed as well." he said and they both nodded sternly in agreement then.

"Indeed we are, and we thank you for coming to us next right now, so we can help out, we're not giving the devices directly, but rather blueprints. As you said, stuff breaks down, what you need is blue prints, so you can create a human version." Thor said and he nodded gently. "Well come on, we better get inside, because whatever they do next in upgrades. Said is getting the reprimand from hell for it." he said and Daniel nodded, as they headed west.

Before Jacob paused and they all froze up, as the rings appeared then, before ending up in the tunnels, as he saw Yosuf. "Yosuf, Areanea!" he called out and they smiled and Areanea went to hug him tightly. "Yeah I missed you too, it's good to see you again, listen we need some help, but do you recall that phone call I made last year, on Pyrus's kingdom?" he asked and they nodded smiling. "She's delaying to find a cure." Yosuf said and he nodded.

"Well I'm sorry to break this to them, but there is no cure, albeit one, the sarcophagus itself, you got the maximum safe dosage, with the bloody thing broken." she said and he nodded and they all paled at that. "That was actually half to heal the damage, the other running testing on the changing elixir." he said and she nodded smiling. "So you're seeing what the technology can and can't do, it's fine, with us being biased about it."

"The maximum safest dosage is 50, passed that it starts turning you from good, to so good, you look evil to everyone else. But as no royal household is left without one, we can give her mother's and they can create the concoctions for your planet." Martouf said and he nodded. "Thank you, so that's the added healing benefits, without getting in the damn thing itself right now, nice thinking here kiddo."

"We can benefit from that, so that's what the president ordered you to do now, you're getting drugs, to study, bring back, Shyla. Being the first, provided the serum that just saved your life, and she's prejudiced. But if that's not irony and nothing is, the only cure is the thing she blames your change of personality on. But you just brought back a medical breakthrough, worth nonillions, there's my point." Jacob said to that news.

"I never ran afoul of them, that's Pyrus's kingdom, but doing a research paper, of what the technology can and can't heal. As you fielded the questions, after I spoke to Pyrus, he adopted me." he said and they nodded in understanding. "So what I would later see in your memories, if you gain the power of the Ancients right now. Said is really, what his chief interrogator would do to a soldier like O'neill and Makepeace now."

"What do you need from us next year exactly?" Jacob asked and he crossed his arms as he answered him. "That can't be good right now, here it comes." Dixon said sternly and Landry nodded. "What's your opinion to upgrading a death glider, and one stolen from the enemy, more accurately the serpent?" he asked and he nodded sternly. "I call that suicide, recently Apophis was installing recon beacons into his ships right now."

"If stolen by the enemy, or just a traitor, they're a new technology, only recently created the last 18 months, which corresponds with the day of the orbital attack." he said and Daniel and Teal'C nodded in relief he told them that. "Well that explains why he never bothered telling us that, he told you, and you alerted the general to this news now!" Walter said and he nodded gently then. "To answer your question here." Teal'C said gently to him.

"Do you have new technology we can use, I'm entering a key point in training by the races, you're as wise as they are. And they're getting too arrogant to realize upgrading alien technology is a one way ticket to an early grave. We also need you to show said red flag, and get them sidelined, because I'm bringing back drugs. Ones that Earth needs and 1 of them could be the cure to cancer, that she denied you."

"Of here right now." he said and Yosuf nodded sternly. "Indeed, I believe we have just the thing, Freya." she said and she sat something on the table. "This is what we call a za'tarc detector, what you call a programmed assassin right now. Said false memory or lie, it reveals the presence by going red, that if they start lying now. They been made, and as we can pretend they are za'tarcs, as you do the next step to this right now."

"I can clone myself, so if she has to shoot me, she only kills my clone, but not me." Martouf said and he nodded. "As your father said, you're completely in the hands of us, the Tok'ra, now." she said and Keller started laughing at that remark. "Too late, and are you really choosing now to make jokes?" he said gently and Jacob smiled gently. "And it seems the little shit was screwed from the get go here." he said, smiling sternly at that news.

"Yeah him and Makepeace, but he got caught, and by the key in my deadbolt, it was him, along with the hunting knife." he said and they nodded. "Well we did try to warn them: anything created, in drugs, with a sarcophagus in mind. There is no cure albeit one, the sarcophagus itself, as such, you got the good hospitality and benefits. But if they're that scared of the queen, then they're scared of the old ball and chain effect."

"She doesn't want to settle down, not yet huh, looks like with Aramis, it just had her heart, and body, over rule her head, she doesn't have a choice in the matter." he said sternly and she swallowed hard, realizing she been set up all that time. "And to say this now, before I have to give that to the little brat, if Apophis is still alive on Netu. Well he starts arguing with me, over the best way to handle this, and I sided with you now."

"Shall we." he asked and he nodded, as he pretended to be Jack, after they got Cronus's flag ship. "Hey! Don't scuff the walls!" Daniel said to them, pretending to be him. "I want this ship back the way we found it." he said to him and he sighed as he answered him. "We know, Jack, but I still don't think it's really necessary for you to be here." he said to him then gently. 'Young man really this is too dangerous.' he thought sternly to this at decision.

"Sorry, not letting her out of my sight." he said to him and he nodded. 'Young man really, haven't you learned anything after I laid into my daughter for something like this.' he thought sternly to this reckless decision. "Agreed right now, that arrogance, it's a wonder you're still alive." Teal'C said and he looked at him. "My mission is to oversee the relocation of the Tok'ra base, what's yours again?" he asked and he said it with a bemused smile at the question.

"Protect Earth's big fat asset, we've got about a thousand engineers and scientists just drooling to go through this thing." he said and Jacob nodded firmly. "You really think that's wise?" he asked and he said it in annoyance."Don't start with me, Jacob." he said to him then.
