Chapter #1: Unexpected Surprise
One year has passed since Sandra Williams joined the Casey Jr. Circus ran by her uncle, the Ringmaster. Her first friends she befriended were the elephants, mostly the kind-hearted and motherly Mrs. Harriet Jumbo and her new baby son Dumbo. At first, the whole circus and the lady elephants picked on Dumbo because he was born with big ears. Shortly after arriving in Georgia, Mrs. Jumbo went wild when a group of bullies started to pick on her son and tried to protect him, with Sandy getting injured from a worker and the mother elephant getting locked up in solitary confinement
Sandy decided to step in for Mrs. Jumbo and care for Dumbo until she was free. The lady elephants and the circus workers, even her uncle were all cruel towards the baby elephant, even to the girl and spread rumors of her performing sorcery and witchcraft in her tent, due to her Wiccan heritage which gave her the ability to speak to animals. Her relationship with the Ringmaster was rocky as he did not listen to her honest words, and later on, they got along well.
While she's still an acrobat, she became Dumbo's personal trainer and earned respect from the other workers and animals from the circus, even kicking the clowns out. Dumbo became a star attraction, and his mother was finally free, and once more reunited, they never thought they could be so happy.
But what if she had another brother when he was adopted by the planet that was adopted that didn't come from the planet Earth but from another planet of an alien race that was Extinction from the universe itself.
The man was known as Kakarot or his earth name: Goku.. went missing for Sandy before Sandy joined the circus it's been months or years since she saw her adopted brother. She felt bad and irresponsible, not looking after her brother, but however fate might actually bring back the brother she will be waiting for.
In Dragon Ball Universe
Location - Universe 7, Earth
After the events that happened in the tournaments of power.
Somewhere in a canyon to Warriors: Goku (Kakarot) and Vegeta, we're having a bit of a sparring match.
Goku (Kakarot) felt like he was having flashes of images of a circus.
Goku (Kakarot) in mind: [What's up with all these images I keep on getting it's fine. I feel like I forgot someone for my past almost feels like...]
Vegeta: Clown, pay attention to the fight!
Vegeta took this opportunity to do an apricot on Goku (Kakarot), making him send flying directly out of stone pillars, causing cracks.
Goku (Kakarot): Vegeta, what the hell is that for!?
Vegeta: You're taking a fight, seriously!?
Goku (Kakarot): I know, but damn you didn't really have to go that far!
Vegeta: Then pay more attention in the fight instead of goofing off!
Goku (Kakarot) ignoring Vegeta kept on trying to lecture him, Goku (Kakarot) shook off the images in his mind and refocused on the sparring match. But deep down, he couldn't help but feel a sense of longing, like there was something or someone he had forgotten.
Meanwhile, on Earth - (Dumbo 1941)
Sandy was busy preparing for another show at the Casey Jr. Circus. She had become a skilled acrobat and trainer, but she couldn't shake off the feeling that something was missing from her life.
Sandy: (thinking) I miss my brother. It's been so long since I last saw him. I hope he's safe wherever he is.
In Dragon Ball Universe
Location - Universe 7, Earth
As fate would have it, a powerful energy surge emitted from Goku (Kakarot) during his fight with Vegeta. It caught the attention of beings from other universes, including the mysterious Grand Priest.
Grand Priest: (smiling) Ah, a remarkable power indeed. It seems I have found the one who possesses extraordinary potential.
The Grand Priest contacted Lord Beerus, the God of Destruction of Universe 7, to inform him about the energy surge.
Beerus: (curious) What? Goku's power just spiked? How is that possible?
Whis, Beerus's attendant, had been observing the situation closely.
Whis: My Lord, it seems that Goku might be tapping into a power beyond even Ultra Instinct. Could this be the awakening of a new form?
Beerus: (intrigued) Hmph, that idiot always finds a way to surprise me..
Earth - (Dumbo 1941)
The girls exited from Sandy's private car and made their way over to the menagerie tent where all the animals were housed.
They entered the area and to see the many animals the circus owned.
There were zebras, giraffes, bears, ostriches, horses, tigers, lions, hippos, and especially elephants, all gathered around to see Dumbo play with their children.
Needless to say, the young pachyderm had been all too happy that he was no longer the laughingstock of the circus and was accepted by his community.
Mrs. Jumbo smiled down at her son and caressed him tenderly.
Then she looked up and noticed Sandy and her friends entering the tent, making her smile even more.
Harriet: Oh look, everyone! Sandy and her friends have arrived!
The other animals looked back; glad to see the Wiccan they had become so well acquainted with entering the tent.
Ever since Dumbo became the star of the circus and Sandy was deemed his personal trainer, they were all unsure of what to make of a human who could speak their language, but they came to accept her as a member of their community They smiled and politely greeted her, not noticing the astonished expressions on the faces of her two human friends.
Sandy: Hello Mother.
Sandy had come to call Harriet 'Mother' because she was a mother figure towards the girl the first day they met. The Wiccan had lost her birth mother to a poacher when she only a child but had grown to see Harriet as a loving substitute since joining the circus. In kind, Mrs. Jumbo adored Sandy as if she was her own daughter and accepted her into her family for protecting her son when she was imprisoned. The kind mother elephant pulled the girl into an embrace within her trunk.
Harriet: How are you today? Did you enjoy the ride here to Missouri?
Sandy: I did, thanks for asking. And there's something I'd like to share with you about Paige and Rosie.
Oh really? Asked Harriet as she looked towards the two other humans. What is it you have to say about them?
The two girls were still gaping as they turned their attention to the mother of their circus's star.
After a short pause, Rosie was able to mutter: Oh my goodness, the potion does let us talk to animals.
Harriet and all the other animals observing this exchange donned a look of surprise.
Harriet: They can...understand us as well? Since when?
Sandy: Since I made a potion for them that let's them understand the animal language as well as I do..
Sandy said anything else she sensed a power that sounded that felt so much of her lost long adopted brother.
Sandy: (whispering to herself) Could it be..
Somewhere in a forest far away from the circus.
A tall man with muscular built black spiky hair black and orange gi of a martial artist landed in somewhere the circus grounds.
Goku (Kakarot): Well, it seems I really have made a bit of a miss calculation with my instant transmission..
As Goku (Kakarot) continued to search for the location of the circus, he sensed a familiar energy nearby. It was a power he hadn't felt in a long time. It was a power that resonated with his own Saiyan energy.
Goku (Kakarot): (curious) What is that energy? It feels...familiar.
Following his instincts, Goku (Kakarot) flew towards the source of the energy. As he landed near the circus grounds, he saw a group of animals and humans gathered together. His eyes immediately landed on Sandy, who was in deep conversation with Mrs. Jumbo, Rosie, and Paige.
Goku (Kakarot): (whispering) Sandy...is that really her?
Sandy, sensing a presence nearby, turned her head and locked eyes with Goku (Kakarot). Instantly, recognition sparked in both of their eyes.
Sandy: (whispering) Goku...is it really you?
Goku (Kakarot): Hey Sandy, it's been a while..
Sandy's sadness now turned into rage, giving her adopted brother a dirty look.
Sandy: (angry) Where the hell were you? Do you have any idea how much I was worried about you!?
Goku (Kakarot) stumbled back, shocked by Sandy's outburst. He hadn't expected such anger and worry from his sister. He looked at her with a mix of guilt and confusion.
Goku (Kakarot): Sandy, I'm sorry. I didn't realize how much you were worried about me.
Sandy's anger softened slightly as she saw Goku (Kakarot)'s genuine apology. She took a deep breath and composed herself before speaking.
Sandy: Goku, you disappeared without a trace. I thought something terrible had happened to you. Why didn't you come back?
Goku (Kakarot) scratched his head nervously, trying to find the right words to explain his absence.
Goku (Kakarot): It's...complicated, Sandy...
Sandy's eyes narrowed in suspicion. She had always known Goku (Kakarot) to be a bit absent-minded and driven by his love for fighting, but she couldn't shake off the feeling that something else was going on.
Sandy: Complicated? That's not enough of an explanation, Goku. We're family, and family should stick together. You shouldn't have just disappeared without a word.
Goku (Kakarot) hung his head in shame. He knew he had let his sister down, and he couldn't deny it any longer.
Goku (Kakarot): You're right, Sandy. I should have been there for you. I'm sorry for leaving without saying anything.. I felt like I was sucked into Portal and ended up in another universe and I have lost track of time for who knows how long I know you might not find my story to be hard to believe..
Sandy's anger turned into confusion as she listened to Goku (Kakarot)'s explanation. She had always known her brother to be a bit eccentric, but being sucked into another universe? It seemed far-fetched, even for him.
Sandy: Another universe? Goku, that's...hard to believe. How can you be sure that's what happened to you?
Goku (Kakarot): I know it sounds crazy, but it's the only explanation I have. While I was in this other universe, I trained and fought powerful enemies to protect it. But somehow, I lost track of time and ended up here. I can't explain it, but I wanted to find you as soon as I could.
Sandy's confusion turned into concern as she listened to Goku (Kakarot)'s story. She knew her brother had always been a fighter, but she never imagined he would be fighting in a different universe.
Sandy: Goku, I...don't know what to say. It's hard for me to wrap my head around all of this. But I'm glad you're here now. We'll figure this out together.
Paige, Rosie, Harriet (Mrs. Jumbo), Dumbo and the other circus animals were skeptical about the lost brother to actually be far French.
Paige: for some weird reason I don't believe you..
Rosie: unless you got any proof..
Goku (Kakarot) had a bit of a smoke grin on his face.
Goku (Kakarot): Okay you want proof that I want to lift the Asian elephant known as Mrs jumbo.. and with using one hand.
This response surprised my adopted sister including Pagie and Rosie, the other animals including Mrs. Jumbo, were surprised by the response as if he was crazy.
Pagie and Rosie were a bit of a chuckling thinking that he was rather crazy.
Goku (Kakarot) ignored the chuckling and began stretching his muscles and cracking his knuckles.
Goku (Kakarot): time to show you my strength!
Sandy looked at Goku (Kakarot) with a mix of confusion and amusement. She had always known her brother to be impulsive, but lifting an elephant? That seemed beyond even his capabilities.
Sandy: Goku, are you serious? You really think you can lift Mrs. Jumbo?
Goku (Kakarot) nodded, his grin widening.
Goku (Kakarot): Trust me, Sandy. Do not underestimate the strength of a Saiyan warrior..
With a confident stride, Goku (Kakarot) approached Mrs. Jumbo, who was watching the scene unfold with a mix of curiosity and skepticism. The other animals and the two humans present held their breath, not sure what to expect.
Goku (Kakarot) crouched down and placed his hands underneath Mrs. Jumbo's massive frame. He let out a grunt, his muscles straining, and slowly, but surely, he began to lift her off the ground.
As Goku (Kakarot) continued to lift Mrs. Jumbo, the circus animals and humans watched in awe. The once heavy and immovable elephant was now rising effortlessly in the air, supported by Goku (Kakarot)'s sheer strength.
Mrs. Jumbo herself was stunned by what she was experiencing. She had never seen anything like this before. The usually calm and composed mother elephant couldn't help but let out a joyful trumpet as she found herself floating in mid-air.
Sandy, Paige, and Rosie exchanged amazed glances. They couldn't believe their eyes. Goku (Kakarot)'s display of strength was beyond anything they had ever witnessed.
Sandy: This...this is incredible! Goku, how are you doing this?
Goku (Kakarot) grinned and shrugged nonchalantly.
Goku (Kakarot): Saiyan strength, Sandy. It's a gift from my alien race. We Saiyans are known for our incredible power and fighting abilities.
Sandy: Alien race? Saiyans? Goku, this is all so overwhelming. How did you become a part of this?
Goku (Kakarot) lowered Mrs. Jumbo back to the ground gently and turned his attention back to Sandy.
Goku (Kakarot): It's a long story, Sandy. But I promise to tell you everything. Just know that I'm here now, and I won't leave your side again.
Sandy's confusion and concern turned into a mixture of relief and curiosity. She had missed her brother more than words could express, and now that he was back, she couldn't help but feel a sense of completeness.
Sandy: Goku, I'm glad you're here. I've missed you so much. But there's still so much I don't understand. How did you end up in another universe? And what happened to you there?
Goku (Kakarot) sighed, realizing that his explanation wouldn't be a simple one. He looked towards the other animals and humans that had gathered around, their eyes filled with curiosity.
Goku (Kakarot): It's a long and complicated story, but I'll try to summarize it as best as I can. You see, a while ago, I was fighting an enemy who threatened our universe. In the process, I was somehow transported to another universe, where I had to face even stronger enemies in order to protect it.
Paige: Enemies? What kind of enemies?
Goku (Kakarot): Powerful beings from different planets and dimensions. Some were even gods. I had to push myself to the limit and go beyond my own power to defeat them.
The circus animals and humans exchanged bewildered glances. Goku (Kakarot)'s story sounded like something out of a fantastical novel, too incredible to be true. But when they looked at the expression on his face, they knew he was being sincere.
Sandy: Goku, all of this...it sounds unbelievable. But I trust you. You're my brother, and I know you wouldn't lie to me.
Goku (Kakarot) smiled gratefully at his sister's words. He had missed Sandy's unwavering trust and support, and he was determined to make things right and earn it once again.
Goku (Kakarot): Thank you, Sandy. I know it's hard to believe, but I hope that someday I can show you and everyone else the incredible world I've experienced. But for now, let's focus on being together and making new memories.
Everyone nodded in agreement, their skepticism slowly fading away. They may not fully understand Goku (Kakarot)'s story, but they could sense the bond between him and Sandy.
Just as the group was about to continue their conversation, a familiar voice called out from a distance.
Ringmaster: Sandy! There you are! We're about to start the next performance. Come back to the main tent!
Sandy turned towards the direction of the voice and saw her uncle, the Ringmaster, approaching. She knew she couldn't keep him waiting, but she also didn't want to leave the presence of her brother.
Sandy: Goku, I have to go back to the main tent. But let's continue this conversation later, okay?
Goku (Kakarot): Of course, Sandy. I'll be here, waiting for you.
With a final wave, Sandy quickly made her way back to the main tent, leaving Goku (Kakarot) with the animals and his thoughts. He knew that their reunion was just the beginning of a new chapter in their lives, and he was eager to see what the future held.
As Goku (Kakarot) stood there, surrounded by the circus animals, a realization struck him. He had found his sister, but there was still a mission that awaited him. The power he had sensed earlier, the power that went above and beyond the universe, still lingered somewhere out there.
Goku (Kakarot): Sandy may be my family, but there's something else calling out to me. I can't ignore it. I need to discover the true extent of my power and protect the ones I care about.
Goku (Kakarot) eyes widen realizing about his family back on Universe 7, his wife (Suno) and his son (Gohan).
Goku (Kakarot) in mind: [should I really tell her about the family that I have in universe 7 probably not make things complicated..]
Paige: What exactly are you thinking about..?
Goku (Kakarot): nothing much...
Goku (Kakarot): Just some personal matters, Paige. Nothing important. Let's get back to the circus and focus on our performances.
Paige raised an eyebrow but decided not to press the issue further. She trusted Goku (Kakarot) and knew that whatever was on his mind, it must be significant. For now, they had each other, and that was all that mattered.
Together, Goku (Kakarot) and the circus crew put on a spectacular show for the audience, leaving them in awe and wonderment. Despite the strange occurrences and unexpected twists, the circus thrived, bringing joy and excitement to people of all ages.
And through it all, Goku (Kakarot) remained steadfast in his determination to protect those he cared about and explore the limits of his powers. With Sandy by his side, he knew that no challenge was insurmountable, and together, they faced whatever lay ahead.
