At this time, in Fort Height, the junction of the Dona river...

The soil of the land ruled by Marika was nourished by the Erdtree and its many saplings, so that the Golden Dynasty was able to produce large quantities of high-quality crops during the harvest season of each type of crop.

Even some fruits that should not be grown in the southern or eastern territories could be produced to a certain extent due to the transformation of the soil by the Erdtree.

Finally, the crops produced by the farmers will be checked and collected by the local lords in reasonable quantities, and then resold to the merchants.

Kenneth Height, the man in charge of this junction, was mainly responsible for managing the trade in this area.

But today is a slightly special day. Because Kenneth had invited the organizers of the various chambers of commerce that traded in this section of the river to his castle's dining room to enjoy something they had never tasted before that filled the tables.

"Lord Kenneth, you say this green bunch of fruit is called... Muscat grapes?"

One of the dwarven merchants asked with a slight hesitation as he looked at a small, green, round fruit in his hand.

"And this hard thing called watermelon, I didn't think that after cutting it open the inside actually looked like this!"

Another merchant held a juicy watermelon slice in both hands and said with the same hesitation.

Kenneth saw that the merchants were a bit uneasy about the novelty of the food, and instead of being offended, he said with a big smile on his face:

"Rest assured, honored guests! Although these delicacies and drinks were grown for the first time, they are absolutely safe for consumption! I guarantee it with the reputation of the Height family. Please enjoy yourselves, everyone."

The merchants looked at the novelty of the food in front of them, and for a moment they didn't know what to do. On the one hand, everyone naturally feels uneasy about the unknown. But on the other hand, the merchants had a certain degree of trust and goodwill towards Kenneth.

In the time that Kenneth had ruled the land, he had brought more prosperity than ever before. There were no soldiers to beat and kick the merchants for protection rackets, and the chambers of commerce did not have to pay outrageous taxes on their transactions. And Kenneth would have the garrison arrest any merchants who tried to profit by improper means as soon as they were discovered. As law and order improved, so did business opportunities.

Kenneth was also a delightful person. Although he speaks with the characteristic tone of a nobleman, in reality he is a nice and easy-going person.

No one is willing to disappoint this kind-hearted lord.

In the end, the Dwarf merchant was the first to eat the fruit in his hand.

"Huh?"

The Dwarf couldn't help but let out a surprised voice due to the sweet taste in his mouth.

"What a refined taste!"

The other Elven merchant sipped the wine from his small wooden cup and exclaimed with the same sudden surprise:

"This wine! This is the flavor of Mother Earth! I felt that my body was nourished the moment I drank it! I've never tasted such fine wine in 300 years!"

Kenneth explained with a smile:

"Of course, my elven friend. It's made from ginseng, a new herb in our country! Drinking this will prolong your life!"

"Such spiceness! What's with these lamb chops? The spices on it–impossible! It surpasses the spiciness and flavor of the Flame Fruit Seed!"

A merchant who was good at evaluating spices said so, and in the meantime, he and the neighboring merchants were already eating the spiced roasted lamb chops with their lips full of oil.

"Lord Kenneth, how much are you willing to sell these fruits, wine and spices for! I'm willing to pay whatever it takes!"

"If Lord Kenneth is willing to sell them, it will surely blow up the market!"

There were many voices of praise. At the same time, the merchants also smelled the business opportunities from the delicious flavors, and scrambled to sell the food and wine on behalf of the lord.

"Alright, alright, everyone, don't be so impatient, today's banquet is far from over, we have plenty of time to discuss it slowly."

Kenneth smiled and calmed the excited merchants, while his heart was filled with gratitude to the true creators of these crops.

'As expected of Her Majesty! It is true that the things created by her are of the highest quality. As expected, the merchants accepted these novelties. Praise be to the Goddess of the Golden Order!'

While Kenneth's business was prospering, a pleasant event was taking place on a plain in the interior of the eastern territories.

"Look, my lord, here is the place I was talking about."

Jin, riding on a brown horse, pointed to the clearing.

"This is where you said you could grow rice?"

Marika, who was riding on the Torrent, looked in the direction that Jin was pointing. To her eyes, the flat land was surrounded by a forest of trees. Although she didn't recognize the species of these trees, the trees gave her a feeling that it was more humid than the southern territory.

"Yes, when I found this place, I realized that it was similar to the Toyotama in my hometown, Tsushima Island. I have been investigating this area and my suspicions have been confirmed. This place is indeed suitable for growing rice."

"Lord Sakai, are there any other places that are similar to this place?"

Yuichi, one of the trio of the Drifters asked as he rode his horse forward.

"Yes, and there are many. I believe that with our Lord's permission, we will soon be able to taste the flavor of our homeland!"

Jin replied with a happy face.

"Good! Following oir Lord is really the right thing to do!"

Nobunaga and Toyohisa could not help but cheer when they heard that they would be able to eat rice again. Nobunaga even shed tears of joy. Being able to have a taste of home in an unfamiliar foreign world is a comfort to anyone. Even the usually calmest person, Yoichi, smiled and said:

"When the time comes, I might even be able to drink a mouthful of rice wine after so long."

"Why don't you like the mead and wine here? Yuichi."

Marika said jokingly.

"Well... haha, it's the taste of home after all. Compared to the mead here, rice wine is more to my liking."

Yuichi laughed dryly in embarrassment.

"Speaking of rice, what was that...uh...ah...that thing the Master mentioned before? Yes, miso beans! Isn't that a crop that can be grown here as well!"

Bedivere added.

"Right! Rice without miso soup has no soul! Good thing you reminded me, Bedivere."

Toyohisa laughed out loud, and everyone else laughed along with him.

At this moment, the king and his subjects were happy and everything was good. Even though there was a difference in era and race, everyone was happy about the same thing. Looking at the green plains, Marika thought to herself:

'This is what I want to protect, this bond with all of you. If only my other children could see this.'

Thinking of her children, her thoughts returned to her mission.

Marika's current goal was not only to defeat the Kingdom of Inrud, but also to make her country the main food supplier for all nations. It is a chaotic time, and the nations are fighting each other for supremacy. The Kingdom of Inrud and the Elvish Kingdom of Elfasen are fighting against the huge Falkari Empire. In the north, the Dwarf Kingdom, Bulheim, was a separate entity. Moreover, according to the information obtained from Venom Snake's investigation, the western lords of Inrud, recognizing Nicholas's weakness, seemed to secretly intend to break away from the rule of the kingdom.

No matter what, these chess players all have one thing in common: they are in desperate need of food. This is where the Kingdom of the Erdtree comes in.

The Kingdom of the Erdtree has been providing a large amount of food to the market, and the countries gradually became dependent on it. Moreover, Marika had confidence in her own army and personal strength, and could guarantee that she would not be looted by other countries' armies. Even if one gets the stupid idea of trying to rob the Erdtree Kingdom's silos like the Inrudians, they do not dare to openly send a large army, but only hire adventurers on small scale heists, which will not affect the large-scale production.

Of course, Marika does not have to worry about the empire, although the two had a small-scale war in the past. But at least, in the correspondence between Siduri and the ministers of the empire reached by communication, so far their confirmed relationship is a trade ally.

So far, no one dares to mess with Marika's country out in the open, because her army is just that strong and powerful. And when she catches someone, she will chase them down and make sure they regret ever hurting her people. As someone experienced in such beatings, the Inrudian army can attest to that, having to cough up their land and cities.

Of course, there are always a few rats in the granary, and the nobles in the Kingdom of the Erdtree have their fair share of those stupid enough to break the law. Those who surrendered in the first place could not resist the temptation of wealth and tried to hide the crops and troops for their own use.

At this point, Morgott's Night Cavalry, supplied with Intel from Ladybug, will be sent to crush the conspirators, making sure they never break the Queen's laws again. In time, the nobles learned to fear the ruthless enforcers of the night that followed the Second Prince.

With the short-term plans for the future in mind, Marika and her men returned to Stormveil. After all, there was still a lot of work waiting for each of them.

After saying goodbye to Jin and the Drifters, Marika returned to her office with Bedivere. Upon entering, a hard, one-eyed man was sitting on the waiting couch expecting for her.

"Ahab, I see that the information I asked you to gather is now complete, isn't it?"

Marika said while sitting across from him.

Venom Snake took a drag on the cigar in his mouth and slowly exhaled again before speaking:

"Boris Farid. Age forty. He used to be the mayor of Brisbane, a small town near Riley City. He is a clean official and has never been found to have any signs of corruption. It is also said that this man was often elected as a judge when the old lords were faced with difficult legal matters. It is said that he has never made a miscarriage of justice, and is known as the Eagle Eyed Judge."

Venom Snake reported his findings in pithy terms to his employer according to the intel jotted down in his mind.

'Looks like a talent worth using...'

Marika crossed her arms and held her chin in thought for a few seconds. Afterwards, she slapped a large handful of Runes on the table with one hand and said with a satisfied face:

"Well done, Ahab. Here's the pay for this mission. It's been hard on you lately too, so take a few days off."

"No problem, thanks."

Venom snake absorbed the runes with his hand, and after indifferently thanking her, he got up and prepared to leave.

However, before he stepped out of the door, he turned back and said:

"At this time, even if I wanted to rest, it would be difficult. In a war, no one can stay clear from it, especially a man like me who feeds on war."

After saying this, he left without looking back. Leaving behind Marika, whose expression darkened.

Noticing the change in Marika's mood, Bedivere went up to her and gently massaged her shoulders, saying with concern:

"Master, don't take it to heart. Sir Ahab did not mean any offense. You've been through battles too, and I think sir Ahab knows that very well."

"I know. It's just..."

"Just?"

"Never mind, it's nothing. Darling, I'll be practicing in the underground training room later. I'll keep you company during dinner."

Marika, her mind occupied, shook her head to bring the topic to a close.

"...Very well then. Then you should also take care of your body so that you don't get too exhausted."

After a few seconds of silence, Bedivere knew that Marika was not willing to discuss this topic right now. So instead of forcing her, Bedivere just bent down behind and kissed Marika lightly on the lips to show his care.

Marika responded with a warm smile.

A few hours later...

In the basement, illuminated only by the Sight of Grace and oil lamps, Marika sat on the floor and meditated intensely. Her long skirt was wet with sweat, and her blonde hair on her forehead was sticking to her skin.

Ever since Renalla's return, every week, Marika took time out of her busy work schedule and time with her family to train her powers in the hidden underground training room outside the castle.

On the stone tiled floor, there are occasional footprints that crack the floor. On the right side of the room are a number of wooden training mannequins. On the left side of the room, there are scattered burnt wood chips, and mannequins crushed by powerful force. On the floor were some simple type-moon magic arrays and some beginner's books on Glintstone magic, indicating that this place had been transformed into a somewhat satisfactory mage workshop.

Why does Marika, who already has a system and powerful abilities, have to sweat all over the basement to cultivate her power?

The reason can be traced back to her experience in the Quest World. There, she had her first near-death experience. If it wasn't for her powers, she would have been blown to pieces by those Mushas.

After that mission, Marika realized her weakness. She realized that her martial arts skills were not strong enough to stand up to those truly powerful. Although she could mostly rely on her physical qualities and the battle memories brought by her noble phantasms to brute force her way through, her disadvantage was obvious. Once she is surrounded by a number of powerful enemies, she will be in danger, just like when she fought against Ye Qin Tian and Li Yun. But it seems that this can be remedied by using Gate of Babylon's many noble phantasms to offer suppressive firepower and magic beams for pure destructive power. But then, she would be caught in the same problem as Gilgamesh in that she did not excel in melee combat. She has no intention of having her hands cut off by a certain red-headed hero of justice!

So, in order not to rely solely on noble phantasms and System, she has to train herself to acquire new powers and hone her existing skills.

So she took out the magic staffs from the Gate of Babylon one by one, absorbing their memories and knowledge to increase her mastery of magic. In order to learn Glintstone magic, she tried her best to be thick-skinned and borrowed books from Renalla's grand library. Of course, she wasn't cheeky enough to ask Renalla to teach her herself, but instead, she quietly studied the books in her basement.

Luckily, Glintstone magic is a type of magic that can be performed with theoretical knowledge and a Glintstone medium, as long as one's intelligence is not low. The threshold compared to the magic of this world that relies on natural talent is relatively low. With these two conditions, Marika, who possessed a strong brain due to her numen body and her acquired magic circuitry, was able to learn some moderately difficult Glintstone spells on her own.

But today, she was practicing a different kind of power, a power that was inherent to this body.

"Come on, ghnnn, come on..."

Gritting her teeth, Marika tried to use a new way to utilize the constant flow of Runes that she had received from the Elden Ring and her connection to the Erdtree.

In the past, when she had cast Rune incantations, she had followed her physical instincts to keep the Rune flowing and burning, and then incorporated her own thoughts into it to create the effect she wanted. To describe it, think of the Rune in her body as a stream of water, and Marika's consciousness as the channel that guides the stream and the hydroelectric station that converts it into energy.

Indeed, Rune incantations could be a near-universal magic system, whether they be healing spells, or a destructive spell that could shatter the earth.

But Marika thought that there might be another way to power this powerful force.

Because Rube is not a liquid, but a particle. It occurred to Marika that if she looked at Rune from a scientific point of view. What would happen if the particles rubbed against each other rather than being channeled and then burned?

Of course, this idea didn't come from Marika's own whims. She was an office worker in her previous life, not a scientist or a martial arts master.

The idea came from her favorite, albeit obscure comic book, Sea Tiger.

Created by a famous Hong Kong comic artist, Wan Yet-leung, Sea Tiger is an epic saga about powerful super powered individuals. In the story, the superpowers in the story generated their supernatural abilities by rubbing the cells in their bodies to form electrical currents. They call this power Magnetic Field power.

When it comes to supernatural power, the magnetic field power is definitely the strongest and the most dominant of all the different comics, novels, movies and TV shows she knew of! Magnetic field power mainly uses electric current as the means of attack, and the strength of the power is calculated in terms of horsepower, flow rate and realm. The higher the horsepower, the more powerful the attack. The higher the flow, the more energy you can use, roughly similar to the MP bar in a video game. The higher the realm level, the more precise and targeted the power is towards the enemy.

But magnetic field power is much more than that. Whether it's healing, reading minds, altering matter, creating life or manipulating space, as a perfect hexagonal power system, magnetic field power can do it all. That's why the top Magnetic Field Power users each have almost god-like powers as a result. Shattering continents at will is just a routine for them, Even nuclear bombs mean nothing to them, even being bombarded to the point where half of their body is left is just a minor injury. The strongest of them can even destroy an entire solar system or even create an entire universe at will!

If you want to talk about a drawback, it is that the magnetic field power does not have the same control over the soul as the Runes. But when you can destroy planets at will, it doesn't seem like such a big deal to manipulate souls.

Of course, it's impossible for Marika to have such terrible power right now. She knew the limits of Runes. In the most extreme case, she could only control the life of an entire land, and that was only if the Elden Ring and the Erdtree were operating at their peak.

So until Marika had recovered to a level comparable to her other self's heyday, or until she drew magnetic field power from the system's rewards, she wouldn't be able to ask for too much. But the compatibility of Magnetic Field power and Rune was still worth studying and pondering. That's why Marika's focus lately has been on trying to mimic the effects of Magnetic Field power with her runes.

And now she has finally achieved some progress!

Standing up from the ground, Marika took a deep breath. Then she slowly made a stance, forming a stance where her right hand was ready to throw a punch. At the same time, she was also grinding all the Rune particles in her body, trying to create a current-like effect. Such a delicate maneuver was by no means easy, and Marika had to concentrate on it with all her might.

'A little more, a little faster! '

Feeling the power, Marika was already sweating profusely.

"Ha~ It's done!"

Finally letting out a breath slowly, Marika finally felt the bottleneck of the power increase. So now, it was time to release it!

"Rune Shift, Golden Blast Fist!"

Marika roared and threw a punch! A powerful, current-like wave of Rune energy blasted out from her fist at a terrifying speed!

As soon as the punch was thrown, the entire basement trembled as if it was experiencing a horrific earthquake due to the powerful force that shot out in all directions.

Even the residents in the distance felt it!

"Gyah! What's going on, Master?"

In the knight's training ground, former Valkyrie Knightess Sophia, now an Abyss watcher in training, and her two companions cried out in shock at the sudden earthquake.

"No need to worry! It's just a small earthquake, keep practicing formation!"

Artorius, who was accustomed to such great events, was not concerned at all, and scolded his disciples for making such a big fuss.

Back in Marika's training room, when everything went quiet, Marika noticed her results and got lost in thought.

"Hm... the power is much greater than last time... if I compare it to the manga, it should be around... 10,000 Horsepower? The maximum number of horsepower is a million, I am not even close. And my accuracy is still not good."

Marika pondered for a while, and then gave herself an unqualified appraisal.

The attack she had just performed, the "Golden Blasting Fist", was Marika's attempt to imitate the main character of the Sea Tiger manga, Hai Hu's signature move, the "Sea Tiger Blasting Fist".

Initially, she was inspired by martial artist Li Yun's move, the Lotus Flower Palm, in the mission world. Although she had complained about the complicated names of their moves, the Lotus Palm that she had accidentally glimpsed during the fight between Li Yun and Night Qin Tian reminded Marika of the famous Sea Tiger Blasting Fist from the comic.

However, there was no comparison between the two powers. After all, the Sea Tiger Blasting Fist, which was powered by the magnetic field power, if done by Hai Hu himself, was a move that could crush the earth with one punch, which was much more dominant than the qi martial arts.

But the basic principle is still similar. Both moves use the fist to send energy into the target, allowing the energy to wreak havoc inside the target, thus achieving lethality.

Marika's Golden Blasting Fist achieves the same effect as the Sea Tiger Blasting Fist. Two weeks after Renala's return, she had succeeded for the first time in her grueling practice. And another week later, the technique had been given a slight boost in power today. The name of Marika's original move was a tribute to the legendary comic that inspired her.

"Now let's try the move that didn't work last time!"

Recognizing the progress of her new move, Marika tried another one without stopping, ignoring her sore muscles and magic circuits. Once again, she sat on the ground and began to meditate and rub the Rune particles together. After an hour and a half of silence and sweat, Marika made progress again.

In front of her, a golden shadow was slowly formed by her Rune power. When it was finished, a majestic figure that she could not erase from her memory appeared.

Godfrey! The strongest warrior of the Barbarians! The rightful leader of the Lands Between! The first Elden Lord! At the same time, he was also the original Marika's first love, her first husband.

The reincarnated Marika stared at the tall figure in front of her she had conjured through the memories and emotions from her other self with complicated eyes.

Godfrey had given the original many good and unforgettable memories. The reincarnated, who had fused with the original's memories, couldn't not even feel any dislike for him.

But good impressions are only good impressions. As a brand new personality, the Reincarnated's feelings towards Godfrey only stop at good impressions. Marika didn't feel love for Grey, but at most gratitude and guilt.

"Godfrey...should I say long time no see to you?"

Marika said mockingly at herself.

But the figure in front of her just stared at Marika in silence, without any reaction.

"Nothing to say? Guess as much, after all, you're just an empty shell that I made up from her memories."

Marika knew that the shadow in front of her was not Godfrey's soul. After all, Godfrey had died long ago, and the newborn Erdtree did not catalog his soul. The silhouette in front of her was created by Marika by referring to the golden ghosts that guarded the palace of Lyndel in the game.

However, this is not the same as the golden ghosts in the game. The Ghost in the game is more like a fixed point spell, a security program. The advantage is that it can utilize some of Godfrey's power, but the disadvantage is more obvious. The moves are more stagnant than the original, and it can only be confined to a specific, small area.

Therefore, Marika imitated another magnetic field power move from Sea Tiger to enhance the power of the Rune incantation.

The move that Marika borrows this time is Hell's Warlord, a terrifying move created by one of the main side characters, Genkai Di U, or Di Yu for short. In the manga, Di Yu is the leader of the Heavenly Kingdom, a virtual nation in the story. As the leader of the country, Inferno is also an incredibly powerful magnetic field user and master in martial arts. His power is on par with that of the main protagonist, Hai Hu, one of the "Four Progenitors", along with the other two top powers in the story, Tendo and Orca.

Inferno's martial arts and skill is the best among the four. Even the hero of the second installment of Sea Tiger, Bai Shou Nan, the son of Hai hu, worships him as his master and Godfather because of his wisdom and martial arts skills.

Back to Di Yu's best move, Hell's God of War. This is one of the most difficult moves to learn in the story, but it is also very powerful. In the second installment, Bai Shou Nan had to go through great hardships and life and death situations before he finally learned this move.

But what exactly is the Hell's God of War? The simplest way to describe it is that the user has to undergo a mental split, using their magnetic field power to split their brain into two to create a new personality. However, the new personality must not be some rando, it must be a strong person that the user is familiar with to be the personality of the Hell's God of war.

The way it is presented is similar to the stands in Jojo or the Spirit ashes in Elden Ring. A ghost aiding the user in battle.

The familiar is usually a deceased family member or close friend of the user, but sometimes it can be an old enemy that the user has defeated. As the creator of this move, Di Yu used his fond memories of his deceased brother to create this move.

Now, using rune particles to mimic it, Marika relies on the original Marika's memories and thoughts to create this illusion. Of course, compared to the original Hell's Wargod, Marika's copycat move is far less powerful and intelligent than the original. The original move is capable of restoring 100% of its subject's power and mind. However, Marika's copycat version is still far superior to the Golden Ghost and the Spirit Ashes in terms of restoration. Because this Godfrey's shadow was painted by Marika, his wife who knew him so well, so of course the degree of restoration was not inferior.

But the most important thing is that this ghost can follow her wherever she goes! It won't be restricted by any venue, and apart from the fact that it will consume a lot of mental energy, it's very practical.

"But what should I name you? Why don't we just roll with reference and call you the Golden God of War?"

Marika said to herself as she looked at the result of her hard thinking.

"Eyyyy–! It's quite impressive! You can even create your own moves! But I didn't realize that you're a fan of Hong Kong comics?"

The system suddenly appeared and spat out.

"What's the next move you're going to reproduce? Dark Shura Reincarnation? Tianwu Killing Dao? HellBlade? Whale Killing Fist?"

"Don't be ridiculous, just imitating the Sea Tiger Blast fist and the Hell's Wargod has nearly drained all my brain cells, literally. Not to mention all the other moves that I have no actual reference to."

Interrupting the system's playfulness, Marika spoke impatiently while relaxing her control and letting Godfrey's shadow dissipate.

"Okay. Forget the moves, why don't you try Di Yu's politics?"

When the system said that, it caused Marika to suddenly pause, and memories of this storyline from the manga began to flood into her mind.

It comes from a scene where Di Yu gives a speech to his people. This speech can be described as a complete presentation of the essence of his political philosophy to the reader. Di Yu believes that might makes right, and that the only proper way to rule is through extreme totalitarianism brought about by his supernatural ability Although his rule is cold and ruthless, he has actually managed to make his country prosperous, and he is considered a philosopher king in the true sense of the word.

There is nothing wrong with applying this reasoning to Sea Tiger's world lore. Sea Tiger's world is similar to the world of Warhammer 40k. The weak are prey to the strong, there are constant wars, and the super-powered are absolutely oppressive to the ordinary human beings. The intelligence and power of the strongest magnetic field users is something that cannot be duplicated by any technology. In the eyes of a magnetic field user, an ordinary person is just an ant, the two are of a completely different species. The battle of the strong in the world of Sea Tiger is often accompanied by the death of countless ordinary people. Even in the eyes of Di Yu, the relatively kindest of all the magnetic field users, the ordinary people in his land are at most like sheep.

However, applying this theory to Marika's Japanese fantasy world of swords and magic made Marika feel uncertain.

''It's true that, just like those magnetic field users, magic users have powers that far exceed those of ordinary humans. But... is that really true? According to the information I have now, magic users will still die if they are fatally wounded. It's a far cry from the invincible recovery power of a magnetic field user. But the strength of the friends I brought to this world is also...wait, that's not the point. '

"System, you mean...you want me to treat my people like sheep?"

The possibilities that surfaced in her mind made Marika ask in confusion.

"Well... it's just hypothetical for now. But it's not impossible to go along with it. After all, although Di Yu treats his people like sheep, his high-handed rule has really brought prosperity and stability to his people! His totalitarianism ensured that all his policies would not be distorted by his subordinates. His incredible wisdom ensured that his decisions would be hard to fault, and that they would be made for the sake of the people of the Kingdom of Heaven, whether they understood them or not. Moreover, what he has to face is the same as what you will face in the future, all of them are terrible and unimaginably strong enemies!"

The system replied after some thought.

"But the way Di Yu ruled is a complete denial of the people's free will! I...I can't agree with that."

Marika argued.

"Then your current practice is respecting democracy and freedom?"

The system simply asked in a direct and to the point manner.

"It's not like I can't do anything about it! If we force a democratic society now, no matter if it's the nobles or the people, they won't be able to adapt to it! Other countries won't let it happen either, just look at the history of France. The process cannot be rushed. It will take at least a few hundred years until peace and unity return to the land... I have a long enough life now, I have time to make changes slowly. When true peace comes, I can abdicate and return rule to the people."

Marika explained, but for some reason, there was a worry in her heart. Could a world with absolute supernatural power really have the same democratic politics as the ordinary world she used to live in? Or would her current world become like the world of the Sea Tiger, a paradise for the powerful and a hell for the mortals?

"Democracy and freedom? Maybe? Who knows? I'm just a system, I can't predict the future. The most I can do is give you advice and provide you with power and existing knowledge."

The System looked at Marika's torn expression, and just expressed its neutral position without a care in the world. Marika was the one who really made the decision.

"Then, what do you think I should do now, System?"

Marika asked tentatively.

"To hell with the whole kingdom of Inrud, of course! What kind of war games are we playing here? Just use the power I've given you to crush them and take over their kingdom!"

The system advised in a somewhat agitated manner. In his voice, it seemed that he could imagine the powerful scenery of Marika using her powers to crush anyone who stands in her way,

"Do you realize how many people I'd have to kill if I go through with that? Do you really think I'm that much of a nut?"

Marika spat breathlessly.

"I didn't give you powers to be some limp dick."

The system snapped back.

"I'm trying to avoid unnecessary casualties. Besides, I'm a woman now, and with my New Type powers, I'm supposed to be sentimental!"

Marika said back.

"There you go again, always thinking about things that will happen in a thousand years. That's why you're so tied up every time you do something."

The two of them argued for a while, and finally Marika got tired of it and changed the topic of the conversation and said:

"Okay, okay, okay! Let's not talk about this, you've ruined the mood. System, do you have any missions on the table?"

"Oh..! Of course there is!"

As soon as the system heard that Marika wanted to do a quest, it forgot all about the topic and started to post a new quest on the system page.

"Mission Trigger: The host is to build a sewer in any city in your territory. Difficulty: Simple. Mission Reward: Multiverse gacha pull x1, Unlock Raya Lucaria Soldier."
