"Can't believe the mayor gave us this apartment after hearing our story," said June as she looked around a small one room apartment.

"Do you think he's up to something?" she asked.

"I did not sense anything from him that's alarming, and there is no sign of someone watching or listening in on us right now by any means," said Jack who was propped up against the night stand.

"That's good at least," said June before laying down on the bed.

"Okay, what are you thinking about?" asked Jack.

"Just can't help but wonder if my parents are here, I mean this is the closest city that the army used after the apocalypse started so maybe they were brought here," said June.

"Wish I could help, but I can only differentiate between souls I've met before and I've never met your parents," said Jack.

"I'm not asking you to find them, I'm just wondering," said June.

"But more importantly, what about Rezzoch?" she asked while sitting up and looking over at him.

"He's definitely here but I'm getting interference," said Jack.

"What could cause that?" asked June.

"Best I can figure out is that he's in the sewers, and given the horde from earlier I would say there are even more zombies here than I had originally thought there were," said Jack.

"I'd say you're right, but let's worry about that tomorrow," said June.

"Right, you need to get some food and rest, haven't had much of that on the road," said Jack.

"Let's see what people are making in the restaurants around here and get me a bite to eat real quick," said June while putting him on her back before heading for the door.

"You think it will cost or will it be free?" asked Jack.

"Who knows," said June with a laugh as they left.
