Four days later

Kokonoi had already reached their spot. He was wondering about what Y/n had said the other day. He of course knew what they had meant by 'being happy' but he emotionally couldn't understand it. He did say he was trying, but he did not know if he actually was. Deep down, his mind was always unsettled, always unsatisfied with everything. Falling deep in thought, he flinched when Y/n suddenly honked in front of him.

"Yo Koko." Y/n greeted with a wink.

"What ya thinking about?" asked Y/n in a funny tone.

"Nothing important. Is the job done?" Koko questioned.

"Absolutely. But how boring of you to ignore all my questions. Chill a little." Y/n said messing up his hair.

"Also when did you get this punkish hair? Not gonna lie, it suits you better than your last one." Y/n complimented looking at his hair.

"Don't blabber shit now. Just tell me the info and get going L/n. I ain't got time. You know how my boss is." Koko said with a serious expression cutting Y/n off.

"Of course I do, the ugly beast Shiba taiju. I have had many deals with him and he was always a pain in the ass." Y/n laughed but then turned serious.

"Okay so from what I've gathered, the leader of Toman, Mikey has been manipulated by a person named Kisaki. Apparently, Kisaki is using Mikey as a vessel to reach the Top for some unknown reason. Secondly, there is this coward first division captain called Hanagaki Takemichi who is trying to prevent it. Takemichi is close with Mikey and also has influenced him a lot. Takemichi has always been a part of every decision Mikey has taken so far this year. Other than this, I've found that there are traitors in Toman. Namely, Takemichi the coward, Kisaki, Kisaki's right hand man and Hanagaki's friend Chifuyu Matsuno who is the vice captain under Hanagaki. They are trying to break the truce between your gangs and gather information about Taiju." Y/n reported all the information.

"Okay, thanks. Here's your pay." Koko seemed satisfied and handed them the rest of their pay. Y/n nodded, gladly accepting it.

"Hope to work with you again." Y/n said and patted his shoulder. This was their usual line they said to each of their customers.

"Sure. Take care L/n. It was nice seeing you after years." Koko said with a smile.

"Same here, Koko." Y/n responded smiling back. Koko turned around and left while Y/n wore their helmet back.

'A fine pay, let's get that new AGV helmet with this.'

Y/n rode to the usual garage they used to go to. It was an expensive one since it only had branded items and motorcycle accessories. The owner had become a friend of theirs because of their frequent visits that he gave Y/n discounts without them asking for it.

Y/n reached their destination and got off. Entering the store, they were immediately greeted by its owner like usual.

"Welcome L/n." He greeted Y/n.

"What are you here for today? New gloves? Helmets?" He asked politely.

Y/n nodded in response and said "Helmets this time. The AGV ones."

On your demand, he went upstairs and brought with him a couple of agv helmets. Y/n loved all of them but one caught a little more attention than the rest.

"This shit looks cool. I'm gonna try it on." Y/n said and tried it on. They went in front of the full sized mirror and checked it out. It did look awesome on them. Satisfied with its looks. Y/n asked the owner to tell you it's details.

"So it's called AGV Pista GP RR Helmet, it's accessories include: hydration system, interior customization kit (top crown pad, rear crown pad and cheek pads), tear-off kit and vent covers. It's completely made of carbon and is very light weight. The interiors are washable so it's easy to clean. Overall, it's a great choice which perfectly suits your style." He finished ending it with his opinion. Y/n were satisfied after hearing this.

"I'm getting this." Y/n stated happily and both of them headed to the counter.

"A good choice. And no card I know how you always pay in cash. It's ¥2,41,764." He joked and made their bill.

"Like always." Y/n handed him the cash carefully and took their new helmet from him along with the bill. Y/n wore it on and put your old one in the bag. Of course they gotta take it in use as soon as they get it, you know.

"Thank you for purchasing from us. I hope to see you again." He thanked Y/n as they left the store.

Y/n got on your motorcycle and sped off to their hideout.

24th November, 2005

Kokonoi had been given the necessary info from you about Toman and about the big move they were gonna make breaking their truce with Black Dragons. To prevent any surprises, Koko had put two random guys from their gang to spy on Hanagaki and Kisaki. Both of them reported their daily activities and interactions with other Toman members as well as with each other.

Koko was being informed about all the strings they were pulling behind their backs but he did not stop them immediately. He needed to catch them red handed and at a perfect time.

He had also learnt from their reports that Kisaki had contacted some random member of their gang to buy information on Taiju.

And today was the day Kisaki was gonna meet him for that.

Koko and his spies followed Kisaki and Takemichi to the spot of their meeting with the informant.

And right when the informant was going to spill the beans, Koko walked in.

"Damn, it stinks in here. Smells of a rat." Koko walked in with an amused expression on his face. Hands in his pockets and slouching backward, he stood.

All the heads turned in his direction.

"Koko-kun.." whimpered the informant looking terrified. Kisaki tched.

"They've already found out." announced Chifuyu.

Hanma agreed "Yep."

"Things ended up badly for the last rat we had." Said Koko leaning to his side to the traitor informant; he continued,

"He couldn't handle it, so he killed himself."

"You've got it all wrong, Koko!" the traitor pleaded,

"I didn't betray you guys! I'm just-"

"I know you're not hard up for money." Koko turned and lowered himself to come face to face with the traitor.

"It's torture for you!"

"Take this filth away." He commanded his men.

"Yes, sir."

And the traitor was taken away by Koko's men but he still kept pleading, "Can't you overlook this? I didn't do anything! Please!"

"The hell you didn't do anything!"

Koko watched them take him away and when they were gone, he turned his head, "So...what do you want to do?" He mocked with his tongue out.

Kisaki replied, "We don't intend to fight you."

"Huh?" Koko responded with his eyes glued on the envelope full of money which rested on the table.

He averted his eyes back to Kisaki and suddenly demanded,

"Hundred grand."

"What?"

"I'll tell you what you want for hundred grand." Koko offered lowering his gaze and looking more serious.

Toman members looked surprised hearing this from a top rank member of their rivalry gang.

Then, Kisaki stepped forward with the cash and demanded,

"We want to know when Taiju will be alone."

Koko took the money and answered, "The boss is never alone. He's always got five men with him." He put his pay in his pocket and continued,

"Except on one day."

"And when's that?" Kisaki questioned.

"December 25th. Christmas." revealed Koko.

"He may not look like it, but boss is a devoted Christian. Every year on Christmas night, he goes to Udagawa church to worship. In the dead of night and always alone." finished Koko.

"Got it."

"Anything else you want to know?"

"That's plenty." Hearing this Koko turned to leave,

"Even alone, the boss is still tough. I doubt that four of you could defeat him. I can hardly wait for Christmas." With a laugh he finished and opened the door to leave but Takemichi questioned,

"Why are you betraying Taiju?"

To which Koko replied,

"I simply like the strong." and with that he left.
