"So, you're Hanagaki Takemichi."

"Yeah.."

"The infamous Takemichi. I'm really meeting you now." Y/n stated seriously.

"Yes...but infamous..?" Takemichi questioned, confused.

"You like to get punched a lot for your friends. Which gang was it?"

"Ehrm..Tokyo Manji gang. Toman.." Takemichi replied scratching his neck awkwardly.

"Right."

Y/n continued interrogating the poor boy.

"You really like to worry your girlfriend." Y/n stated with a serious tone holding eye contact with the accused guy.

Takemichi grew nervous and lowered his gaze in shame.

"Ehrm.." He was at a loss of words.

To explain this situation in simple words, Tachibana had left the two to use the restroom. And since they had not properly introduced themselves before, they took advantage of the time. Well, it was more of an interrogation between a criminal and a cop.

"Takemichi, you're a special delinquent." Y/n said turning to look at the sky. This statement caught Takemichi by surprise. He did not see that coming right after being interrogated that strictly. So he pried, "Special delinquent? How so?"

"I've never come across anyone as stupid as you." Takemichi raised a brow to this as Y/n finished it with a light laugh.

"You care enough about your gang members to get beat up for them." Y/n elaborated turning to look at Takemichi.

"What's wrong with wanting to protect my gang?" Takemichi responded questioningly which made Y/n laugh.

"That exactly, is stupid Hanagaki." Y/n laughed while continuing to explain, "Even if you lose and end up becoming a punching bag yourself? You make me laugh." Takemichi got confused.

'Isn't taking care of your fellow teammates a good thing? What's this person implying?'

"If that makes you laugh then laugh. I care about and stay loyal to my teammates even if I end up losing. Because, in the end what matters the most to me is my team. Running away is what cowards do." Takemichi defended himself reflecting on his ideals.

"So you're saying that you value your so called friends' lives more than your own's? Don't act like a saint, Hanagaki." Y/n continued laughing. This irritated and confused Takemichi.

'This person sounds like they haven't experienced parents' love...or even friends'...Why can't one just simply care about someone enough to get some bruises for them? It isn't impossible, the world hasn't reached to that point yet...'

Contemplating on this, Takemichi spoke again, determined to prove his argument to this person, "It isn't impossible to get some bruises for someone you care about...Call me whatever but I am not backing off like a coward."

"All the people in this world do things which have alternative purposes, selfish ones. They do not do things just out of care for someone...Are you sure you don't have any selfish purpose too?" Y/n looked into Hanagaki's eyes with a cold face. For once, Takemichi wavered inside.

He knew he had a selfish purpose behind all of this. The selfish purpose to save his girlfriend. He knew it. The reason he joined this gang in the first place. But he always chose to ignore it, he defended himself considering his care for the members but deep down he knew, his main purpose was only to save Tachibana. But this did not let him back down and admit defeat in front of Y/n. He stood his ground,

"Yes, I am sure."

Y/n felt satisfied hearing him. but in spite of showing him their satisfaction, they continued with the monotonous voice,

"Betrayal, desertion, greed, grudging...all of those make up a gang. There's not one person in a gang who doesn't have fucked up morals. All of those traits are commonly found in gang world, but your gang is an exception. I've heard about other members of your gang showing loyalty to a good extent but that didn't impress me much until I heard about you. You take the concept way too seriously. Hence, you're a special delinquent, Hanagaki." Takemichi was taken aback hearing this.

'So I was getting tested just now? A morality test? Y/n seems to know a lot about gang world...are they connected to some gang? They talk like they've been in here for a while.'

"I'm L/n Y/n. It's cool to meet you." Y/n smiled lightly.

'L/n Y/n...I've never heard this name before...neither in the future nor in the past...Maybe I should ask Mikey kun about them since he is familiar with many of the other gangs...'

Takemichi's line of thought was broken by his girlfriend suddenly appearing.

"Guys, there is a horror house over there! I came across it on my way back to you people. Let's go there first!"

At Black Dragon's Hide Out

Koko had already spilled the beans about Toman's schemes to his leader. And right now, only the ranked members of Black Dragons were there to discuss the said issue with their leader.

"So Toman's going to start war on Christmas...Good work Koko. But I need you to do one more thing."

Taiju demanded.

"Hire Y/n to plan out the events of Christmas and ensure our victory. I want to discuss it privately with them. So arrange a meeting for us." Taiju ordered Koko.

Koko agreed, "Sure boss. I will send a messenger to inform Y/n about it today itself."

Taiju rejected the idea saying, "No. Don't send a messenger. Go see them yourself. I don't want this information to reach wrong ears. I trust you with this." Koko bowed his head in response. Then, Taiju called for a certain person through the ranks,

"Inui." Inui stepped forward to his leader.

"Yes boss."

"You will handle the finances from now on till Christmas." Taiju ordered Inui. Hearing this, Koko argued,

"Boss I can handle both the jobs at once, Inui doesn't have to do that." Taiju's expression shifted and he coldly stated,

"I've got more than one job for you Koko. You do not tell me what to do." Koko looked at Taiju with a blank face but anger was boiling inside him. It was his job to manage the money. Why would he let someone else take his place? Money meant the life for him. And he could not just let it all happen. Even though it was his friend.

Taiju concluded the meeting,

"The meeting ends here. Get to work people."

Everybody bowed down to him and greeted "Good work boss!"

11:30 pm, Same day

Y/n was heading to their usual hideout on their motorcycle thinking back to the events in the amusement park with their friend and his boyfriend.

Y/n intentionally had revealed their connections with the gang world to Hanagaki. It wasn't like Y/n kept it secret, it was just, Y/n did not find it necessary enough to tell their friends about it. Besides, they did not want to create a bad image of themselves unnecessarily. Another reason was that Y/n never really made friends with gang members in their day life. So when Y/n met Hanagaki, they did not find a good reason to keep quiet about it, because that was the only other common thing they had between them other than his girlfriend.

Falling deep in thought about this, Y/n did not realise they had already reached their place. They got off, and were met with a familiar face they did not expect would appear in front of them. They were almost surprised.

"Koko." Y/n said in a surprised tone.

"I'm here for another job. This time a bigger one." Y/n heard intently.

'No wonder. But how did he discover my place?' thought Y/n. They had never told anyone from the underworld about their hideout. Not even their regular clients with which they had formed good friendship. Koko was far from knowing anything about it. Then how? His sudden appearance gave a bad feeling to Y/n. How in the world could he find out? Last time, Koko had sent a messenger to inform Y/n and even that messenger did not know about this place; they had met Y/n outside their school.

Y/n was bewildered.

"How did you discover my place?" Y/n questioned frowning. Koko just shrugged in response.

"It's another story. I'll tell you sometime later. Now won't you invite me in?" Koko said turning to the gate.

"You invited yourself on your own, so what's my need now." Y/n replied bitterly, and opened the gate going inside with Koko following behind. Koko said,

"Don't be so bitter now. I ain't causing you trouble." Koko stuck out his tongue and winked, to which Y/n rolled their eyes.
