Author's Note: There's a poll on my profile asking whether I should write chapters for the first MHA movie "Two Heroes." I'm undecided as of now and would like your opinions. Please answer the poll to help me figure this out.
Anyway, here's the chapter:
.
"You're that class from the Sports Festival," A man exclaimed, pointing at 1-A.
"Oh, wow. They recognize us," Uraraka said as people began to gather.
The people congratulated them, telling the class how much they supported them and wished to see them become Pros.
Marvin suddenly tensed. 'Izuku, there's serious killing intent in this building. It feels like Shigaraki. Watch yourself, tell Momo.'
Izuku sucked in a breath but managed to keep his cool, walking over to Momo calmly.
He leaned into her. "Marvin told me Shigaraki's here. I'm not sure where he is or what he wants, but he's here," He whispered to her. "Be careful, OK?"
Momo stiffened a little but nodded. "Do I tell the others?"
"It might help, but they don't have Licenses," Izuku replied. "We should be the main ones on the lookout."
"Mom, Mom, it's Creati and Duality!" A small girl exclaimed, running over to them.
Momo and Izuku did a double take; how did this child know their Hero names?
"Hello," Momo smiled, leaning down to the girl.
"You're Creati!" The girl yelled happily. "I saw you on the TV. Your Quirk is so cool!"
"Aw, thank you," Momo replied, and the child turned to Izuku curiously.
"You were the one who saved my Mom from those big evil guys," The girl said. "Thank you."
Izuku smiled. "It's what a Hero does. I'm happy to help."
"I want to become a Hero just like you two!" The girl said as the mother caught up.
"Cycile, that's enough; we shouldn't bother them," She said, picking the child up.
"Oh, no. It's fine," Momo said as she stood. "I'm just happy we're an inspiration for her."
Izuku tensed, his eyes darting around as Marvin snarled. Shigaraki was close, and there were too many people nearby.
'I'm going to find him, make a plan,' Marvin said, taking control.
His senses flared violently, and he moved out of instinct, jumping forward and twisting mid-air.
He landed some feet away, staring at Shigaraki, who had his hand raised and wore a hoodie.
"Everyone get back!" Marvin barked. "He's with the League of Villains!"
Shigaraki snarled as people screamed and ran in fear; he hadn't planned to make a scene, but if it came to it...
Momo moved, creating a staff right before Shigaraki reached her.
The staff disintegrated, but Momo had already jumped back, throwing a flashbang at Shigaraki.
Marvin leaped forward, taking advantage of Shigaraki's temporary blindness to punch the villain in the face.
He jumped back, using Blackwhip to restrain Shigaraki's hands and pulling him in.
Marvin kicked Shigaraki in the face and twisted, using his momentum to slam Shigaraki into the floor.
Blackwhip retreated just as Momo reached Shigaraki, her staff nothing but a blur.
Shigaraki felt one arm break from her swing and lashed out, his hand clamping on her wrist.
Crystals erupted from Momo's wrist, pushing Shigaraki's hand off as Momo jumped away, utterly unharmed.
"Your Quirk only works on things you touch," Momo grinned as Blackwhip grabbed Shigaraki.
Marvin leaped forward, dispelling Blackwhip as Shigaraki reached for it.
He kicked Shigaraki in the jaw, using Float to stay out of his reach.
Another flashbang went off in front of Shigaraki, forcing him back.
Several more went off, including a capture net and half a dozen electric grenades.
Shigaraki scowled; he'd underestimated the two severely and was paying the price for it.
"Well, it looks like you two are Heroes for a reason," Shigaraki laughed as Kurogiri's portal enveloped him. "Such a shame. I had questions."
Marvin launched forward, but Shigaraki disappeared before he could reach the villain.
'If Shigaraki disappeared with the portal, then Kurogiri must be close by,' Izuku said as he took back control.
'I can't sense him. He's either only here as a getaway or gone already,' Marvin snarled.
Izuku ran over to Momo. "Are you OK? I saw Shigaraki touch you; how are you not disintegrated?"
Momo smiled. "When he destroyed my staff, I noticed how the effect spread only to things he touched, and cutting off the material stopped his Quirk from destroying more things. So, I covered myself in tiny crystals and launched them out when he touched me. I cut them off a moment later, stopping his Quirk."
Izuku blinked. "Have I ever told you how much of a genius you are?"
Momo flushed as the rest of their classmates ran up to them, carrying bags from various stores.
"Are you guys OK?" Uraraka asked as the class reached them.
"Yeah, Shigaraki just took us off guard," Izuku said as he and Momo nodded.
"What did he want anyway?" Kirishima asked, carrying far more bags than any person should.
Momo and Izuku gave identical shrugs. "We don't know," Momo said. "He said he had questions, but we don't know what they were about."
"What questions would a villain have for you?" Iida wondered. "Perhaps he wanted to see how your Quirks worked?"
"But he saw us at the Sports Festival," Izuku replied. "If it were a case of wanting to know our Quirks, then he could just watch the highlights."
"Maybe it's just a ruse," Momo added. "He was probably lying to throw us off guard."
The class nodded, accepting that as the most likely outcome.
"You should still report it," Tsu said, wearing a frog hat Hagakure had bought for her. "The police might have more information, kero."
Izuku nodded but paused as his phone went off.
"A MESSAGE," All Might's voice sounded. "IS HERE."
Izuku turned bright red as he pulled his phone from his pocket, ignoring his classmates' laughter and Momo's amused glance.
'Why does All Might want us at UA?' Marvin asked as they read the message.
'I'm not sure, but it sounds urgent,' Izuku replied as All Might sent another text.
"Nezu wishes to speak to you about your friend. He says he might know a way for him to be in the real world," It read, and Izuku and Marvin froze.
'He's lying,' Marvin insisted. 'He has to be. There's no way he figured it out so soon.'
'But why would he lie?' Izuku asked, and Marvin fell silent, unable to give a reason.
"Please bring Young Yaoyorozu with you if possible," All Might's third message read. "As she knows you better, she can help us determine if the experiment succeeded."
Marvin's brows furrowed. 'OK, now I'm just confused. If the experiment was successful? If they're bringing me out, then they would know.'
Izuku whispered the situation to Momo, whose brows knit together in confusion.
"Why would they want me?" She whispered. "I only know you well. I don't know Marvin at all besides him being good at fighting."
Izuku shrugged. "I'm not sure. And maybe the experiment will pull one of us out? That's the only explanation I can find."
They said goodbye to their friends after explaining that Nezu wanted to speak to them about their Licenses. 1-A looked at them with confusion and smug looks, the girls mostly making up the latter.
"So you and Midoriya are going off alone?" Mina asked teasingly. "Don't come back as three, OK?"
"No promises," Momo replied before she knew what she was saying.
Mina and the others gaped at them as Momo dragged Izuku away before turning to each other with shocked looks.
"Did Yaomomo just-" Uraraka paused.
Kirishima nodded slowly. "Yeah, she did."
"I never took Yaomomo for the type, kero," Tsu said, putting a finger to her chin. "Maybe she's bolder in private?"
"You'd need to ask Midoriya for that," Kaminari grinned before Jiro stabbed him with her ear jacks.
"You're impossible," She muttered, hands in her pockets.
Izuku and Momo quickly arrived at UA, thanks to Izuku princess carrying Momo to the school, not that Momo minded in the slightest.
He launched them with Blackwhip, using Wind Force to leap them over streets until they reached the grand main entrance.
'You do realize that Momo inadvertently told Mina and the others you two were going to have sex, right?' Marvin asked, causing Izuku to choke as he put Momo down.
'Where'd you get that idea from?!' Izuku shouted, his face bright red.
Marvin rolled his eyes. 'Mina said, "Don't come back as three people," which basically means, "Don't get Momo pregnant." Momo's IMMEDIATE response was, "No promises," which means there's a chance you WILL get Momo pregnant. So yeah, you just told your whole class that you and Momo were about to start a family.'
Izuku coughed violently at Marvin's blase explanation, while the other teen looked like he'd just described the weather.
"Izuku, are you OK?" Momo asked, staring at Izuku's beet-red face.
"Yeah, yeah," Izuku murmured as he covered his still-red face with his hands. "Marvin just said something."
Momo's brows furrowed. "What did he say?"
Izuku blushed more, effectively losing the ability to speak as he stammered something unintelligible to her.
"Trust me, if I told you, you wouldn't stop blushing for the next hour," Marvin said, taking control for the moment.
Momo raised an eyebrow. "Oh, and what could be so bad?"
"You'll know after this," Marvin replied, handing back control as they entered UA.
Izuku's face was still red as they entered Principal Nezu's office, even though Marvin wasn't saying anything, simply raising an eyebrow whenever Izuku looked at Momo; it was more than enough.
"Ah, Mister Midoriya and Miss Yaoyorozu," Nezu said, his hands steepled as he sat at his desk. "So nice of you to come quickly."
He utterly ignored Izuku's flushed face, assuming something that left Izuku blushing and Momo calm wasn't something he wanted to know about.
"You wanted to speak to us, sir?" Momo asked, and Nezu nodded.
"That is correct, Miss Yaoyorozu," Nezu said. "I believe I have a way for Mister Mikrai to speak to us in the outside world."
"You believe?" Marvin asked, slightly nervous. "I'm not assured in a belief."
"Trust me, Mister Mikrai," Nezu replied. "This procedure is perfectly safe, but my questions lies in which of you will be affected, which is why Miss Yaoyorozu is here with us."
"I'm still not sure what you want us to do," Momo pointed out. "What exactly is going to happen?"
Nezu stood. "Please follow me," He said, walking to a room off to the side of his office.
They walked into the room to see All Might in his muscular form and Recovery Girl with another man none of the three teens recognized.
'Well, this is a lot,' Marvin commented as he looked around.
The room was the exact opposite of the one Nezu had spoken to Marvin in after the Finals. It was filled with a warm atmosphere, with the walls beautifully painted to show different strands of color running across them and several large picture frames showcasing forests and mountains. Marvin could hear the sounds of violins playing lightly in the background.
"This room was meant to be as stimulating as possible without being overpowering," Nezu explained. "It's meant to relax you to make this process easier."
"And who's he?" Momo asked, pointing to the man.
"This is Mister Rybeon Kajikmi," Nezu said, gesturing to the man. "He will be helping us today."
Kajikmi greeted the two teens, and Marvin observed him curiously. He had a round-ish face, somewhat like Izuku's, with a mop of brown hair contrasted with sharp, trained yellow eyes that watched them closely. He wore a light brown trenchcoat, but Marvin saw another suit underneath.
"I have been informed of the situation by Principal Nezu," Kajikmi said. "But I am sworn to secrecy and will not disclose this information to anybody, regardless of circumstance."
"Is he going to use his Quirk on us to pull me out?" Marvin asked, staring at Kajikmi.
"Quite right, Mister Mikrai," Nezu chirped. "But there's another component to it I have yet to explain."
He pulled two circular medicine tablets from his pocket and showed them to the teens.
"Mister Kajikmi's Quirk allows a person's thoughts to be said aloud," Nezu explained. "It is active for fifteen minutes, but it doesn't allow the affected's mind to appear in a physical state."
"So what are those tablets for?" Izuku asked.
"These will enhance your reception of Mister Kajikmi's Quirk, possibly allowing Mister Mikrai to appear in the outside world," Nezu replied. "At least for a few moments. It will flush from your system in two hours."
Marvin shrugged. "I'll take it."
"Wait, so why am I here?" Momo asked.
"You are here, Miss Yaoyorozu because this procedure is new, and while I tested it on myself, I am unsure if it will proceed as anticipated," Nezu said.
"Basically, he's saying he isn't sure if it'll affect Midoriya or me, and you're here to ensure it works properly," Marvin explained, and Nezu nodded.
Marvin took the tablets, grimacing at their horrid taste before relaxing as much as possible.
"Excellent," Nezu said. "Now, Mister Kajikmi, if you could?"
Kajikmi touched Marvin's shoulder, his yellow eyes glowing brightly.
Marvin turned to him and locked eyes, and suddenly felt someone yank him at his navel.
The world turned into a barrage of colors, flashing by with such speed Marvin couldn't tell where one began and the other ended.
The wind rushed by him, howling in his ears, and his body began to twitch.
The barrage of light and sound overwhelmed his senses, and he snarled, beginning to fight it subconsciously.
Marvin spasmed, feeling pain shoot through his body as he screamed.
He collapsed, the world growing dark and silent again, his breathing heavy as his ears rang.
"Fucking hell, that felt horrible," Marvin groaned, lying on the floor.
"Glad to know you're still articulate, Mister Mikrai," Nezu chirped, leaning over him.
Marvin groaned and closed his eyes. "Was that supposed to be that fucking painful?"
His head throbbed, and Marvin's mouth was open as he sucked in breaths.
He ran his tongue over his fangs, trying to get a semblance of comfort. Wait, fangs?
Marvin shot up, staring at his hands in shock.
He glanced up, seeing Izuku's body strewn on the floor, completely limp.
He looked around, seeing Nezu and he were the only ones awake besides All Might, who looked exhausted.
"What the actual fuck?" Marvin groaned, holding his head. It felt like he'd been used as shooting practice for tanks, and he closed his eyes with a groan.
"I will admit, I did not predict that outcome," Nezu frowned, seeing Momo and Izuku strewn on the floor.
Marvin jumped up, pushing away his pain and rushing to the two.
"What happened?" He ground out, his aura flaring violently.
"I am not sure," Nezu admitted. "Mister Kajikmi's Quirk drew on his stamina to recreate the thoughts of those he used it on; I do not know why this happened."
Marvin felt a lightbulb go off in his head. He punched the air, his eyes widening as powerful winds ripped through the room.
"The enhancement was made to recreate your physical attributes to half their potential," Nezu explained, and Marvin growled.
"You IDIOT," He roared, his aura flashing strongly enough to become visible.
"Do you know how much power I have?!" Marvin yelled. "That's like trying to recreate Midoriya's strength!"
Marvin dug his tongue into his top left canine harshly enough to draw blood, breathing deeply through his nose to stop his rage from overtaking him.
"Nezu, my stamina is my greatest attribute," Marvin ground out calmly. "Even half of it is enough to overpower a peak athlete several times over."
"What happened when the Quirk activated?" He asked, digging his nails into his palms.
"The procedure occurred as expected, and you began appearing as a small pink ball in front of Mister Midoriya," Nezu explained. "Mister Kajimki fainted after three minutes, followed by Recovery Girl, Miss Yaoyorozu, and finally, Mister Midoriya."
"Great," Marvin sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Just great. I absorbed the stamina of everyone in this room. How long will this last?"
"It should last the full fifteen minutes," Nezu replied.
Marvin punched the wall with enough force to make the room tremble. He screamed, letting his aura rip into the walls, visible cracks appearing in them.
"God fucking dammit," Marvin muttered, pacing back and forth, his immense body moving terrifyingly quickly. "The one time I get to see people again, and it's fucking ruined."
Marvin stopped, taking a deep breath and running his bleeding tongue over his razor-sharp teeth. He couldn't lose control now; maybe Nezu had a way to fix this. Yeah, he had to. He planned this after all; he had to think of this.
Marvin turned to Nezu, hands behind his back as he stared.
Nezu shook his head. "I'm afraid I don't have an answer to this. My calculations estimated you would be around twice as strong as Mister Midoriya and accounted for that. I didn't account for your body to be far beyond my estimates."
Marvin dove into his mind. He still had to be connected to Izuku, right? Maybe they could talk?
He looked around, finding nothing, not even the deep tunnel that was their connection to One for All.
Marvin felt a pang in his chest, and he dug his nails into his palms enough to draw small rivers of blood. He could finally interact with the world again and had no one to show it to besides a small rat and an old man.
He stared at his bleeding palms, trying his hardest to keep his emotions in check. Killing Nezu would make things worse, and if he lost control here, there wasn't anybody to stop him.
"Mister Mikrai, I understand your feelings," Nezu began.
Marvin snapped a glare at him. "Do you?" He hissed. "Do you really?"
Nezu sighed. "I'm afraid not, as I cannot imagine how it feels like to be trapped in a body not your own for so long."
"It's not even the body thing I'm concerned about," Marvin sighed. "It's the fact that there's no one besides you and All Might here to see it."
"Young Mikrai," All Might coughed, returning to his skinny form. "You should record a video to show them once they wake up. Then, they'll still see you and know that the procedure worked."
Marvin sighed and shrugged. "Sure, why not? What's the worst that can happen?"
Nezu chuckled. "After many years, I have found the answer, 'Much worse than you can imagine.'"
The two set up a camera, with Nezu sitting on a chair and offering the other to Marvin. The teen chose to half-sit on it instead, one foot on the seat and the other on the floor, as his hand rested on the base of his neck.
"May I ask about your seating position?" Nezu asked.
"You already did," Marvin snorted. "And it's a force of habit. Couldn't afford to stay quiet in my old world."
"Just remember," Nezu said. "Any question I ask, you can avoid answering by saying, "Pass." Understood?"
"Sure," Marvin sighed, cracking his neck. "I get it."
Nezu nodded and began the video. "How does your body feel, Mister Mikrai?"
Marvin shrugged. "Average," He replied. "Around Midoriya's level."
Nezu raised an eyebrow. "Mister Midoriya is average to you?"
"To me? Yes. My body before I came here was equal to around 30% of Midoriya's Quirk, possibly 35% if I pushed it," Marvin said. "My senses were also sharper; my old body could hear the blood in someone's veins from over 6 meters away."
Nezu did a double take. "Your senses are quite sharp," He steepled his fingers. "If I may ask, your life wasn't one of comfort, was it?"
Marvin exhaled sharply through his nose, and the air in the room grew tense. His eyes were contrasted harshly with his usually bored look, becoming sharp and calculating, much like a soldier.
"No," He said, his deep voice a harsh whisper now. "Not at all. I lost a lot, fought more times than I can count, and have killed dozens, possibly hundreds."
"You've killed?" All Might asked sharply. "What possessed you to do that?!"
Marvin turned to him. "The need to survive," He replied, his voice calm.
All Might felt a shiver go through him as he stared at the teen. He suddenly knew that the killing wasn't done for the pleasure of it but out of necessity, much as a prey animal would kill to defend itself.
"You were experimented on," Nezu said. "Weren't you?"
Marvin sighed. "Not me, my sister. They made her much like you: smart, too smart for them to control. When I showed signs of superhuman attributes, like enhanced strength, speed, and senses, they went for me, planning to make me a weapon. My sister stopped them."
"You said you were an orphan, did you not?" Nezu asked, receiving a nod. "Is that tied there, too?"
"Yes," Marvin replied. "My parents were killed trying to defend me and my sister from the Hunters. That's what they were called, or what we called them, at least. My parents are something I can hardly remember since I was four when it happened."
Nezu hummed in thought. "Mister Mikrai, you said the other day that your Quirk appeared when you entered Mister Midoriya's body. Are you sure about that? Because Quirks often show up at the age of four."
"I'm sure," Marvin replied. "I went through training to increase my body and my senses; my strength lies in my skill."
"But you said you had superhuman strength, speed, and stamina," Nezu reminded him. "No amount of training can push you that far."
Marvin paused; Nezu was right; the other kids at the Academy were always surprised at his strength. He just thought they hadn't trained hard enough, that his strength could be obtained easily.
He remembered once that he'd opened a coconut like an egg when he and Rinai had enough money to buy some. Rinai had spent two hours trying to open them, and he did it with his bare hands. The look she'd given him when he did it was still one he laughed at occasionally, one of the only memories he had of her that didn't leave him crying.
"I'm... not sure," Marvin admitted. "Rinai and I checked for superhuman abilities and found nothing besides my muscles being denser and having a higher quantity of fast-twitch muscle fibers."
"That would mean you'd have a greater strength output and be better suited for quick bursts of energy," Nezu frowned. "Yet you told me earlier that your best attribute was your stamina."
Marvin thought back to his early training. Unlike everyone else, who did standard strength exercises, his trainer had pushed him to climb the mountain where the Academy was atop several times until he could do it blindfolded. His best record was five times in an hour, though only after he'd returned at fifteen.
"My stamina was horrid in the beginning," He admitted, thinking back to how he gassed out so often from five to twelve years old. "But my trainer made me do hundreds of endurance drills, including carrying him on my shoulders for ten miles while doing lunges."
Nezu looked slightly surprised. "How old were you during that particular exercise?"
"Eight or so," Marvin replied. It'd been just a month before the Shadow Massacre; that was the only reason he could remember.
Nezu blinked. "That... I have not heard of such training. Maybe that could be arranged for our students?"
Marvin winced, subconsciously rubbing his leg with his free hand. "I would suggest against that. That exercise left me unable to use my legs for a week, and that was after the years I'd tried to improve my stamina. Most students would pass out before the first 200 meters."
All Might laughed a little. "Young Mikrai, I believe you overestimate our students. Most wouldn't be able to get past 50."
Marvin raised an eyebrow. "That is rather concerning. What do they do when their Quirks are disabled?"
Marvin blinked, seeing his arm slowly begin to fade from view.
"I believe our time is up," Nezu sighed.
Marvin turned to the camera. "Midoriya, as you can see, it worked. Partially. I'll be in your head again once you wake up, but it worked. And Yaoyorozu, I apologize for any discomfort I caused you. My intention was to help; I told Midoriya this, but I don't want enemies."
He faded from view, and the room's occupants slowly began to stir. Nezu got up and turned off the camera before sitting back down and waiting for everyone to wake up.
Izuku woke first, and Marvin's enhanced recovery caused him to feel reenergized just seconds after Marvin disappeared.
He jumped up, looking at the other people in the room, who were slowly waking up.
"Momo?" He asked, leaning down to her. He brushed the hair from her face gently, shaking her a little.
Momo groaned softly. "Five more minutes," She mumbled with a yawn.
"There have been fifteen, Miss Yaoyorozu," Nezu said with amusement.
Momo shot up, her eyes wide as she became wide awake.
"Professor," She exclaimed. "I'm so sorry; I didn't mean to fall asleep. I just-"
Nezu held up his hand. "It is quite alright, Miss Yaoyorozu. Your small nap wasn't voluntary."
Izuku looked around. "Where's Marvin? I thought the experiment would work?"
Nezu suddenly looked ashamed. "It did, but I'm afraid I miscalculated. I made it so Mister Kajikmi's Quirk would recreate half of Mister Mikrai's strength, believing him to be a strong human at most. I was sorely mistaken."
"So, what happened?" Momo asked, leaning into Izuku's chest a little.
Nezu sighed. "Well, to recreate Mister Mikrai's impressive strength, it drained Mister Kajikmi, then Chiyo, before turning on you two, and finally All Might, where it was finally satisfied."
Izuku blinked rapidly. "So Marvin has the strength of everyone in this room?"
"I believe his true body could recreate that impressive showing during your Final Exams, Mister Midoriya," Nezu said. "If All Might had not been here to feed the drainer, I'm afraid the effort to recreate Mister Mikrai's strength would have ended with all of us dead or dying."
Everyone in the room paled at that; just how strong was Marvin?
'Hey, uhh. How are you so strong?' Izuku asked cautiously, a little scared of Marvin's apparent strength.
Marvin shrugged. 'No clue. I trained and ate my vegetables; what else could I ask for?'
"Mister Mikrai left a video for you two," Nezu said, handing the device over to them. "He wanted you two to watch it. I believe you'll find it quite informative."

Author's Note: And that's Chapter 18! I wanted to have the original mall scene from the anime/manga, then realized it wouldn't make sense due to Marvin's ability to sense people. He says in an earlier chapter that he recognizes Shigaraki's and Kurogiri's presence, so having him/Izuku get snuck up on doesn't make sense.
For those wondering, Marvin looks somewhat like Jason Todd, just without the white streak. He's around 6'2 and extremely well built; not All Might built, but built. He also has a deep voice, the best way I can describe it is like a growlier version of Todoroki's English dub.
For those confused about how Marvin came into the outside world, Nezu created something that enhances the reception of a Quirk, essentially Tigger, but in reverse, instead of enhancing the user, it enhances the person it's being used on.
The enhancement allows an apparition of sorts to enter the physical world, which brings Marvin out. The problem came from trying to go too far, as many geniuses do, and recreate a temporary body.
That made it so what would've been a kind of ghost to become a solid being, but at the cost of Kujikmi's stamina. When Kujikmi wasn't enough to power the recreation of Marvin, it drew on other sources, using their stamina to recreate his body.
And no, Marvin didn't drain One for All; if that were the case, Izuku wouldn't have passed out. No, he drained Izuku's body, which is separate from One for All, and made him pass out.
This scene will also be important later, so keep that in mind.
