Max meanwhile was heading home or trying to, when his necklace glow, and he was pulled turning into shadow with the golden symbol into shadows before reforming on a roof top, Jackal was before a snake person, snake tail scaled skin snake head and arms. He held a duel disk and deck, wearing only a gem stone necklace glowing. "My stone is older and stronger than yours." He didn't hiss.
Max as Jackal put the necklace on his form arm making it grow as he rotated ti the look now a deck zone, the two arm's now blades with three spots each five for monsters the hits for field spell bottom arm graveyard and a gem between to display life points beside him, "I take it you want a shadow game. and shouldn't you hiss."
The snake who was green drew his hand saying, "Don't be an ass, I shall start with the seal or orichalcos!" the seal appeared as the symbol appeared on his forehead he hissed as his eye turned green, "welcome to the soul stealing seal all my monsters gain power and I can have double." he held out a spell form his four cards, "Now bronze knights I discard two cards and now I gain two Tokens level one warriors 500 attack but!" As he did that tokens appeared gaining the seal (bronze knights atk 500-1000 times two) he set a face down. "One face down now I use the effect of the two cards I discarded Shiranui the spectralsword I can remove him and one zombie form grave to special summon a synchro monster form my extra deck I pick Archfiend zombie skull!" The undead version of summoned skull appeared (level six atk 2500-3000) " he can't die from card effects, My turn is over!"
Max true as the snake lifted his trap card, "token stampede, this makes my Tokens unable to die in battle and grands one thousand more So let's count two 2000 attack one 3000 attack, one doesn't die form card effects two don't die form battle."
Max drew reading hand, "Okay I summon Keeper of dragon magic, (1800 atk) Now I can discard to add polymerization form deck to hand." he did so. "Now I use his other effect I reveal flame swords men the fusion monster I discarded Masaki so the 1100 def monster is summonedinface down defense mode." He then played "Swords of revealing light you can't attack for three turns." the three monsters appeared. "Now I use my fusion spell earth hex sealed fills in for buster blader come out dark paladin!" The fusion happened dark magician and the fill in became dark paladin (atk 2900) "your token's can't die but you lose life! and keep is dragon so (paladin atk 2900-3400)" the paladin slashed a token (snake life points 8000-6600)
The snake drew, "Three monsters on your turn and with the ability to summon more, Skilled." he held out his card, "Scapegoats for sheep tokens def zero now summoned!" the four tokens appeared giving him Seven monsters. "I have multuple copies of stampede in my deck, one of them and your paladin is useless."
Max drew one turn till he can attack, "I reveal dark flare knight dark magician is on him so my 2100 def monster is summoned in defense mode!" he looked at his one card, "I use metamorphosis, I trade seven star magician for seven star (atk 2800) the face down was replaced with fusion, "And you forgot to turn your knights to defense mode so." the fairy and paladin slashed them (snake life points 6600-4900)
The snake drew changing the knights to defense mode zero, "thanks for reminding me. Now I use spell book inside the pot, we bot h draw three cards. " both drew, 'I set two." with his turn over he flipped up his stampede two of them, so he had six tokens waiting to flip to attack mode the sheep would be come 3500 attack the knights 4000.
Max drew, 'I can kill skull but that's not much damage, come on this was my brith mom's deck." and now." his swords were gone. he changed everything but paladin to defense mode (st joan def 2000 Keep def 1300) he set a face down and called back dark magician to face down defense mode. "Paladin kills skull!" the paladin slashed skull killing it, (snake life points 4900-4500)
the snake drew changing his tokens to attack mode. playing "fires of dooms day two more 3000 point tokens, That's eight monsters."
Max revealed his face down, "Waboku I will take no damage this turn!"
The snake looked at his one card, "Well then My monsters can still kill yours!" And kill them he did everything Max had was crushed
Max drew the snake smirking thinking he had him, "Okay then..." he cried the snake laughed, "Thank you mother." Max said freaking him out, "I use raigeki this effect destroys all your monsters and skull the only one that would survive is gone!" With that his eight monsters died by lighting. The Snake gasped in horror.
Our jackal smirked, "I use my fusion spell I have king of the swamp and curse of dragon Gaia the dragon champion is born!" his fusion appeared (atk 2600) "Now attack!" the knight on dragon lanced the snake's duel disk ( Snake life points 1900)
The Snake panted drawing, "you had good luck but it's over now, I use the spell card one time pass code this spell summons a token with 2000 attack and defense level four light in defense mode and I set card." his token looked like a spiraling ring set of ones and zeroes (def 2000) Max drew only for his trap to flip up, "final attack orders all monsters most be in attack so my token now has 5500 attack!" the token changed from blue to red glowing with it's power. "My strongest monster yet."
Our jackal drew the snake said, "you can't change to defense you will bleed." Max set a monster in defense, "Only if it's face up.:
His turn over the snake drew and played played a spell card, "In my last zone jam breeding machine every turn I get tokens with base 500 meaning they will become 4000, security token attacks!" the ball fired a beam of light killing Gaia ( Max life points 8000-5100)
Max drew, "I flip up cyber jar!" the snake's eyes widened as all monsters were gone and the top five cards of there desk appeared, all went into the snake's hand, while Max smirked, "luck is on my side then. dream clown and penguin solider ( attack 1200 and 750) his two monster stood. "Clown!" the clown dashed kicking the snake before the bird held his sword the snake gasping as it slashed him taking away the last of his life points. The snake fell over soul being taken by the seal, as he vanished hissing and roaring in pain. Max panted saying, "Oh thank goodness that worked." he returned to human form his necklace a necklace again his mother's deck put up. cyber jar was a gamble, if it didn't work Jam Breeding machine would have run him over.
Max looked around he would need to use the necklace to get home, which means going to jackal mode again. When he appeared home in jackal mode he saw his parents, in jackal form Aki saying, "son we know you used it, we can't keep our human morphs when you aren't. what happened today why did you have to use it three times this night." he explained.
The next day in school Zoe happily hugged Max tightly having heard about the shadow game for souls he had against the snake man, last night, and so grateful he won through luck. Zoe kissed his check and said, "Don't worry me again like that, when I heard I was shaking all night worried snakes would come for your soul. Okay so snakes from your home planet are invading to rip out souls looking for you what do we do?"
Max saw a poster for a battle city two blows in, " we go get help I guess, Yugi once held an item , maybe he and they can help us, but here is the thing form what I tell Synchro is new, yet that snake used it like an old pro at it. So I think the beast realm has more extra deck summons then we know of, and a lot more power , as that one time access code...it was horrifying all comboed up like that."
