The three kept moving after that. Charlie and Emily started to ask Danny about the Ghost Zone, and he told them what he knew. He also mentioned that he was also still learning about the Ghost Zone. He's only been a ghost for about a year. Charlie then asked him who Vlad was and Danny told them.
"So, he blames your Dad for stealing your mom away because of an accident?" Emily asked.
"Yeah. Though my mom clarified that she loved my Dad, Vlad hasn't given up. He tries to get me to join him, but I repeatedly turn him down. Of course, since I'm the hero, Vlad thought it would be a good idea to blame every attack on me. Even if I had nothing to do with it." Danny sighs.
"Sounds like a real sore loser," Emily asked.
"Or a real crazy up fruitloop as I call him," Danny smirks, making the girls laugh.
As they continued, they didn't know they were being watched. Lots of Ghosts have heard what happened to Skulker when he attacked the three so they stay away from them, not wanting to face the Three Lords' wrath. However, one Ghost notices Danny and narrows his eyes.
"So, the punk has returned," Walker said.
"Walker, you heard what the Three Lords said." One of his goons said.
Walker glared at the goon before turning back to the three.
"Walker, he's right. While it confusing how they are even here or why they are still young, we can't touch them. Rule Breaker or not." Bullet told him.
Since the Three Lords took over, they had stripped Walker of his title and given it to Bullet, who promised to keep the police in line. Walker frowns, knowing he couldn't catch them without the Three Lords knowing. He was forced to let them go.
"I hate this," Walker grumbles.
Later,
The three finally made it to the portal that would take them to Earth. However, Danny was feeling a bit unsure. Emily flew herself and Charlie close to him, wondering if he was alright.
"Daniel? Are you well?" Emily asked.
"You seem a bit scared," Charlie added.
"Yeah. I'm just remembering what happened the last time I was sent into the future." Danny said, sounding upset.
"Do you want to talk about it?" Emily asked, sensing it was something important.
Danny looked at them before looking down. He shook his head, trying to forget about him. Emily was a little saddened but understood her reason. Charlie nodded, also understanding that he wasn't ready to tell them. Danny took a breath before he placed his hand on the Fenton Portal. It opened and the three entered, stepping into the realm of the living.
Danny stepped into his parent's labs, looking around. It didn't look too different, but Danny knew that there was more to this than what he was seeing right now. Emily set Charlie down as she looked around the lab.
"What is all this?" She asked.
"Fenton Works. Home of the town's local Ghost Hunters." Danny said, spotting a family picture.
"It's where I came to when I first exited the portal. Soon, more ghosts found out about the portal and I took it upon myself to stop them and put them back into the Ghost Zone." Danny said, picking the picture up.
"And that's when your enemy started to blame the attacks on you?" Charlie asked.
"No, that didn't happen until long after we met. I didn't know that he existed until he invited the Fentons over to his place." Danny said, setting it down.
"So, where is everyone?" Emily asked, looking around.
Danny noticed how quiet the house was and didn't like it. He hoped that the Three Lords wouldn't do anything to his family.
"Stay on guard," Danny said, making the two nod.
They slowly headed upstairs, taking one step at a time. They reach the kitchen door and Danny slowly pushes it open. Everything was still quiet and he didn't like it.
"Keep your guard up." He whispers to the two.
They soon stepped into the kitchen and looked around. The house was way too quiet for Danny's likely.
"I feel like we're in a horror movie," Danny said, hoping his family was alright.
Charlie and Emily said nothing. But they both couldn't shake something was off. Suddenly, Emily jumps towards Danny, knocking him to the ground as a blast heading for him. Charlie was about to run over and check on them when she saw someone in front of them. Danny looked up to see the Fenton Peeler in front of him before seeing a woman with orange hair and aqua eyes.
"Jazz?" He asked, surprised.
She got ready to fire before Emily quickly pulled him out of the way. They landed next to Charlie before they spotted two more people joining them.
"Mom? Dad?" Danny whispers, shocked.
"If you think turning into that form is going to work, then you clearly don't know my brother that well!" Jazz said, aiming at him.
"Jazz, wait..." Danny started, only for his family to fire at him.
He threw up a shield, covering all three of them. Emily could sense that they were angry. And that anger was at them. It seems they had no idea they were from the past. But what did that woman mean that Daniel took up that form? She knew she needed a better reading of them and her humanoid form could only sense so much.
Danny saw Emily close her eyes as she started to change. Her head had three eyes (a third eye with the same blue iris and a black pupil on her forehead), no hair, no nose, and blue lips. She has four white feathered wings behind her head instead of her back, and the halo has a white eyeball and black pupil instead of spikes.
Her white dress has some key differences, most notably the large blue eye with long lashes at the center of her chest replacing the star. Her puffy sleeves are white, while the hem is adorned with bigger periwinkle diamonds above the dark blue pattern, and longer white-outlined navy blue diamonds inside it, all marked with a single white line in the middle. She also has a white feathery neckline and petticoat.
Danny blinks, surprised at the look.
"I can sense your anger more clearly now. It's aimed at us because you think we are the ones that caused what happened. I can assure you we had nothing to do with it."Emily said, surprising the Fenton Family.
"We are not from this timeline. We were taken from our homes and brought here. We even had a small run-in with the Three Lords." Emily said.
The Fenton Family looked at them, lost and confused. Emily then turned to Danny, nodding at him to drop the shield. While he was unsure, something told him this form was a lot stronger than it looked. He did so before seeing his family keeping their weapons up.
"You are attacking people that don't know the full story. If you can put your weapons down, we can talk about this." Emily said.
"Jazz, Mom, Dad, please?" Danny begs, shocking Charlie and Emily.
He then turned back into his human form, surprising the family.
"Danny...? Is that..." Jazz started, slowly walking up to him.
"Yeah. Though, 20 years younger than the Danny you know." He said, not moving.
Jazz got on her knees before cupping Danny's face. The two siblings looked at each other before the older Jazz hugged him. Danny was surprised before hugging her back.
Emily turned back into her humanoid form before she and Charlie looked at each other. Something told them there was a lot to talk about.
A bit later,
Danny quickly gave a rundown of what he was to Charlie and Emily, who both understood his reasons. The two groups sat down, with Maddie serving some tea.
"I can't believe it really you, son," Jack said, smiling.
"Sorry for making you worry for the past 10 years," Danny said, still trying to wrap that around his head.
"And I see you got two girls with you. That's using the old Fenton Charm!" Jack smirked, making Danny blush a bit.
"Whoa there, Mr. Fenton. I'm already dating someone." Charlie said, holding the cup of tea.
"And I'm a bit busy with my job to find a relationship," Emily added.
"We have known each other for a few hours," Danny said, fighting his blush.
"Dad, Danny isn't the type of person that would be a player." Jazz said, knowing her father overlooked the point.
"So, you three were taken from your homes?" Maddie asked.
"Yes, I was getting ready to open my hotel when something hit me," Charlie said.
"And I was getting ready to welcome any winners to Heavens when I was hit from behind," Emily said.
"And I was patrolling the town when someone blasted me out of the sky," Danny said.
Jazz started to think, knowing that this didn't seem right.
"What did Clockwork say?" She asked.
"Who's Clockwork?" Charlie asked before Danny sighed.
"Jazz, you know Clockwork. He would never give a straight answer." Danny said.
"You did think about visiting him, did you?" Jazz asked, knowing her brother well.
"No..." He said, looking down.
"Again, who's Clockwork?" Emily asked.
"He's a ghost that watches over time itself. He's also very powerful. He's not someone you should fight. And going to him for help does work, but he likes to give them in riddles. Plus, the Three Lords are excepting us." Danny explain.
Charlie and Emily nod, understanding his words, and are surprised that there is a being that can control time itself. However, Danny had another different question in his mind.
"Jazz, Frostbite told me that this timeline version of me had disappeared after the Three Lords appeared. Do you know what happened to him?" He asked.
The Fenton Family looked at the floor before Jazz sighed.
"Danny, you are one of the Three Lords." She said.
"WHAT?!"
And Cliffhanger! So, Danny, Charlie, and Emily had made it out of the Ghost Zone. All of Danny's enemies are too scared to even try to attack the three because of the Three Lords. They also meet Danny's family, now 20 years older. Emily showed her true angel form and Danny had to change back into his human form to get his family to see he was the Danny they knew. While it seems like a happy moment, the biggest bombshell was just dropped.
Danny is one of the Three Lords of this timeline. How? Well, you see in the next chapter. And yes, for those that guess, you are right about who the Three Lords are. But how they become the Three Lords will be told over time.
