The last first day

The next morning Lily Evans woke up at exactly 8:00 A.M. She just couldn't wait to see everybody! She wore a nice yellow Cami top with faded denim shorts with her hair in a high ponytail and with brown sandals. For makeup up she just added a bit of lip gloss and mascara, and she was done! She skipped down the stairs and found her mother, father, and petunia. She grabbed a piece of bacon and slice of toast and sat down next to her dad.

"Good morning daddy" she said cheerfully "Goodmorning my little noodle" her father said back with a grin.

"Darling what would you like to drink?" Her mother asked, "Just orange juice please mummy!" As her mother passed her the orange juice there was a knock at the door. "I'll get it!" screeched Petunia.

'Oh, amazing it's probably that horrid wale of a boyfriend of her's' lily thought rolling her eyes. Sure, enough when Petunia came back to the kitchen, she had a wale with her. "Bye mummy I'm going out with Vernon!" She yelled. "But dear aren't you going to go with us to bade lily away" her mother questioned "oh right bye freak" she said as she walked out the front door and slammed it shut. Lily sighed shaking her head she was never going to be good enough for petunia, was she? "Oh, I'm so sorry dear don't listen to her she's just jealous" "I know mum I just wish things could go back to the way they used to" "I know sweetheart me too." She replied back.

After her mum said that there was an awkward silence "Well better get my trunk if we want to get there on time!" She said checking her wristwatch and trying to break the silence. So, she trudged her body upstairs and grabbed her trunk and owl, Belle, and went back downstairs to find her parents starting the car. So, she put her trunk and Belle in the trunk, got in and put her seatbelt on. About a half hour later they were at king's cross station.

"Bye mum! I love you" She said "Oh I love you to darling see you at Christmas!" "Bye dad!" "Bye sweetie now don't get into trouble ok" Lily laughed at this "me trouble? I'm sure you mean James Potter." Her mother and father shared a glance "Ok bye I love you guys!" "We love you to be safe!" Her mother called back. Lily waved at them as she boarded the train.

When she got on, she headed straight to the compartment her Emma, and Tammie have used since 1st year, 2nd last to the back, when she got there, she put her stuff on the chair next to her and pulled out "Hogwarts Tricky Potions making 101" and started to read.

"Ok boys promise me you'll be behaved and stay out of trouble" Mrs. Potter told the two boys who were currently standing Infront of the Hogwarts express with a mischievous grin on their face "Us stay out of trouble well Mrs. Potter who do you think we are?" Sirius said acting shocked. "Oh, be quiet you" she said with tears in her eyes.

"Mum, I promise well be fine we've done this for the past 7 years!" said James. "Oh, I know boys it's just with all these dark times we can never be so sure."

"Mum well be fine I promise right Padfoot" said James "'Course Mrs. Potter, you know we always are." Sirius said with a wink.

"Oh, get over here you two!" Mrs. Potter exclaimed while pulling them into a hug. "Mum leggo' me" James whined.

"Ok I love you both!" "Love you to Mrs. P" Sirius said.

"Love you to mum" James said with a kiss on her cheek.

"Ok, ok get on the train you're going to miss it." And with a few last hugs and words of love the two boys loaded on to the train for one of the last times.

"Ok let's see nope not this one" Tammie said to herself "Ah here it is!" "EEEKK LILY!" she exclaimed.

"Oh my gosh Tammie!" Lily jumped up and hugged her.

"How have you been?" Tammie asked as she sat.

"Oh, just peachy with Petunia and her whale pet! "Lily replied sarcastically.

"That bad?" Tammie said with a grimace.

"Worse than you can imagine." She said, "what about you?" She questioned.

"Oh well Mum definitely made sure I got my share of chores that I missed during the school year." She replied while rolling her eyes. "I caught up with Sirius a few times had some fun" she said wiggling her eyebrows. "Eww TMI Tammie "Lily grimaced. "Oh, it's nothing I haven't told before. Anyways he told me who you'll be working with."

"Ooh who!" Oh shoot, she thought I wasn't supposed to tell her that yet.

"Ha! I knew you got it, why wouldn't you tell me!" Tammie asked while hugging her in congrats.

"I was going to Suprise you and Em" "Speaking of, here she comes." She exclaimed as she saw her walking down the hall.

"OMG! AHHHHHHHHHHH" Emma yelled as she dropped all her stuff and practically jumped on them.

"Hi Em" Lily said with a giggle.

"How have you been?" Tammie asked.

"Oh amazing! I had to take care of Liam a lot but he's a good baby."

"Oh, that's nice me and Sirius-" however she never got to finish as Sirius himself burst into the room.

"Did someone say my name?" He said as Peter trudged in behind him.

"BABE!" Tammie exclaimed as she ran into his arms.

"Hi Tammie, nice to see you too!" He chuckled as she pulled him into a kiss.

"Argh Padfoot, Tammie move" Remus said as he pushed past the snogging couple to get in the compartment.

"Can I sit here if you don't mind ladies?" He questioned with a bashful grin.

"Er I don't mind if you don't Lils. "Emma said as she flustered from the smile Remus just gave them.

"Nope I don't mind at all." she said.

"Great" he said as he sat next to Emma seeing as Sirius and Tammie had moved to the seat across and Peter was on Lilys left.

"Hey Padfoot, I told you not to bother them!" James yelled as he caught up with them.

Lily turned around to see Potter with a Head Boy badge on! "How did you get that Potter who'd you steal from?!"

"Wow Lily you really think id steal a head boy badge." replied James looking actually sympathetically hurt.

Everyone looked up when he called her by her first name even Tammie and Sirius. "Did you just call me by my first name?" Lily asked unsure.

"Er maybe" James said blushing.

Blushing! Lily thought, really blushing, James Potter has never blushed or seemed nervous in his life! Well, this is new.

"Well, erm I guess we should get to the prefects meeting." James said nervously.

"Yeah, I guess we should" Lily replied confused
