Day 3
AC/DC starts playing, waking up both Lori and Dana. "Why, just why Dana?" Dana ignored her wifes question and got out of bed, turned the alarm off and then went to take a shower. Dana finished showering first and went to warm up some leftovers for breakfast. They really need to go grocery shopping. Lori ran down the stairs three at a time, "how do I look love?'' Dana still refused to respond. "Ok you're mad at me, but at least talk to me" Dana spent a moment thinking before she responded, "you randomly spring this move on me and our son, randomly drag me on a cruise, hell you didn't even talk to me about buying this house, of course i'm angry." Lori finally realized that her plan of surprising her family had backfired, which was bad since it wasn't done yet. "So are you more mad about the surprise, or me spending all this money?" Dana just facepalmed before she spoke, "There's more isn't there?" "I bought Roman a custom built casket for a bed, and bought you a motorcycle to replace the one you sold back when you owned that bar" Lori sped through revealing that as fast as possible. Dana just stared at Lori for a minute, "you realize our sons punk not goth right" Lori stared blankly before speaking "what's the difference?" "AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH"
Lori and Dana ran outside to find Roman just standing their screaming. Dana spoke first "what happened" Roman spent a moment before speaking "just startled by a fox, sorry" in truth what he saw was Nightmare Foxy but he didn't know that yet, all he knew was that he saw a terrifying animatronic in his yard and that it was gone for now. Lori looked down at her watch and realized she was gonna be late, so she quickly hugged her son, kissed her wife, and jumped into the car and left to go to work. Dana looked at her son, "so should I be worried about what you were doing out at night" "no" Dana continued to stare her son down, "is it drugs?" Roman probably should have put more thought into his response then he did "I have some weed, but other than that nothing and I haven't even smoked any yet" if this was Lori he never would have admitted that, but Dana was less of a prude like that. "Mind sharing one" that wasn't something he was expecting, his mother wanting a smoke from him. "Sure" and that's how they wound up sitting on the porch smoking together. Roman finished smoking "i'm heading to take a nap" "mind if I borrow your moped" "sure". After that Roman went to bed and Dana went to visit the town.
Knock, knock, knock, Rich Kramer rarely had visitors nowadays, so he was surprised by someone knocking on his door. "Hello oh uh hello son" Rich hadn't expected his son who's possessing the security animatronic to be knocking on his door, "what brings you here" Security cut his father off before he could finish "are you actually planning on making Roman the manager?" Things got worse for Rich due to the fact that his wife overheard them and came down the stairs, and she was pissed that Rich was going to give their restaurant to some random guy. "I want to meet him" both Rich and Security were shocked by this, "ok honey i'll figure something out" ms Kramer then walked out the door to take her son back to the restaurant, while Rich had to figure out what to do. He figured it out, he just had to force the new CFO to have him and his wife over for dinner. Yeah, a very bright idea right here.
Roman was woken up because his phone was ringing "hello" Lori answered him "so we have a small problem, I invited my boss and his wife over for dinner today" Roman muted his mother and screamed for a few seconds before responding. "Call mom and ask her to buy plates, cups, and maybe something to drink like wine. I'll order some ingredients on delivery and cook something" Roman then immediately called Bev to ask a favor "can you go to El Chip, I need him to help me cook some dinner? Please" Bev stared in shock for a second "sure, but can I ask why" "my mother invited her boss over for dinner, and I don't know how to cook so I need El Chips help" "here you go, and good luck" El Chip left the kitchen so they could talk "so you need my help making food for 5 people?" "yep please help" I'll be nice and skip over the boring hours of cooking and get to the dinner.
Rich and Viky parked the car outside and sat their waiting, "please stay calm love, I know your not happy about me thinking about hiring someone to manage the restaurant but it needs a manager and the animatronics like him" Viky turned to her husband and looked him in the eyes "relax I just want to meet him" it would have been better for everyone if Viky had forced Rich to not hire Roman as a manager, but that's not what's gonna happen. Lori got out of her car, saw Dana and Roman waiting for her, she walked up to them, kissed her wife and hugged her son. Viky spoke "you didn't tell me they were an alternative couple" Rich was getting progressively more annoyed with his wife "I didn't think it would matter, were not here because of them anyway" Viky basically ignored him and stared at Roman before she spoke "we should probably get out, it's rude to keep them waiting" they both got out of the car and said hello before going inside to eat. Awkward, that's the only way to describe what happened. Just 2 and a half hours of awkward conversations and occasionally weird questions from Viky. After it Roman walked them out before Rich gave him a bunch of keys and a phone "congratulations you're now a manager" "huh" before Roman could even say no Rich was in his car driving away. "I'm surprised you weren't angrier" "oh I was, but he's perfect."
