The group stared at Ashleen. She led the group to a small room with two beds both placed on opposite sides. "Place him there," she said to Amy. Amy did what she said and placed Charmy on the bed to the left.
With a snap of her trunk, her dream incenses materialized in the room. The scents may not smell like... anything, but they gave the room a dreamy feel. "Time for the dream session to begin," Ashleen said as she got into a meditation position.
THE FLO-- (Shh!) (Sorry...)
(whispers) The Flower Dream.
"Are you sure you can help? All you've said was 'Flower Dream' and 'Follow me' and stuff," Garnet wondered. "She said. wa-ay more than that, silly," Ruby said with an oblivious smile. Garnet sighed in response. "Of course she can help! Ashleen has help many patients over come nightmares and found cures to several sleep spells," Peridot explained.
"And the spell on the child is no exception," Ashleen said. She then began her explanation. "The gem on his helmet came from the magic crown. It appears that since the evil witch used it to turn others into gems, the gem is still using that power to place him under gem-stasis."
"'Gem-stasis?!' Ewww! That's a terrible spell. It makes a body stop working," Opal said in disgust. "But there's a way to undo it. I have done a similar spell for the one who used to own the gem before giving it to Lady Jewelina," Ashleen said.
"Makes sense. Afterall, the magic crown is made up of the most powerful gems in Jewel Land," Speck added as he pulled out a book. "They're all listed in this book. 'The Magic Gems of Jewel Land.'" "I've read it myself once. Go to page 237," Ashleen said.
Speck opened the book and turned the paged until he got to the page Ashleen suggested. His eyes widen after he skimmed the writing. "Get this," he said as the others minus Cream and Ashleen gathered around him. Speck gave them a summary about the page.
"According to this book, this gem is the Star of Pegasus. It was a powerful gem gifted to Pegasus for bravery. It gave him the power to change into anything he thought of just by saying 'Transform' and changing back to himself by saying 'Return.' Near the end of his life, Pegasus gave the gem to Lady Jewelina before turning himself into one of the Jewel Constellations."
"Whoa, you helped the legendary Pegasus too?!" Ruby asked in shock. "That is correct," Ashleen answered. "In the aftermath of a great battle, the gem fell off his forehead and landed on the forehead of Unicorn, his lover." "Isn't Unicorn one of the Jewel Constellations?" Larimar asked. Ashleen nodded and began to explain.
"Yes. As a matter of a fact, that battle was during the 'Ancient Crusade of the Jewel Constellations,' when 18 mighty warriors fought a war against evil invaders. After winning the war, the warriors gave their lives to become the 18 Jewel Constellations we see in the night sky."
The group awed at amazing story they just heard. "But what about what happened with Unicorn and Pegasus?" Tails asked, reminding Ashleen. "Oh right, I tend to like telling stories," Ashleen said sheepishly then cleared her throat.
"Basically, Pegasus allowed them to win that faithful battle by using his gem to turn their enemies into jewels. At the end fleeing enemy shot an attack at him. It didn't hurt him, but it knocked off his gem that landed on Unicorn. The gem placed her in Gem-Stasis like this child here."
"He brought Unicorn to me, and like now, I told him how to help her through the Flower Dream." "What exactly is that?" Amy asked. "The Flower Dream is a dream spell that can undo any kind of stasis, but only when it is successful," Ashleen said.
The group grew worried at the sound of 'successful.' "Basically, like Pegasus and others did, the way to use the Flower Dream is to dream the Flower Dream and complete the Flower Dream," Ashleen explained. "Um, excuse me, Miss Ashleen. So if I dream this 'Flower Dream,' I can help Charmy wake up?" Cream asked.
Ashleen turned to her and gave her a warm smile. "You must be brave and follow your heart to complete the dream," the tapir advised. She turned towards the others and stated, "There's something else important. Your friends must assure that loud noises won't wake you up."
"So Cream takes a nap, and we keep things quiet?" Ruby asked. "And I mustn't be bothered during the time. My magic will allow her to dream the Flower dream," Ashleen added. She conjured up a clothing hanger then floated around Cream.
"Now that I have a general idea of your size..." Ashleen used her magic to create a light pink night gown on the hanger. She then created a curtain that circled around a small area. "Please change into this night gown. It's filled with dream magic that will allow you to fall asleep." Cream politely took ahold of the hanger and went inside the curtained area.
"Is there anything I can do to help?" Peridot asked. "Well, first you can ask Rin to not sound any alarms. Instead, have her alert the Jewelpets via Jewelpod. One loud noise can stop the dream," Ashleen said. Peridot saluted and ran out the room. Cream came out from the curtained area in her night gown while she held her necklace in her hands.
Ashleen motioned Cream to lie on the other bed, which she did so. Peridot returned to the room. "Rin said that she'll do what you want, but she wants you to tell her as soon as she can turn on the alarms," Peridot reported. "Thank you, Peridot. I can certainly count on your help," Ashleen said gratefully. She then turned to the others.
"As for the rest of you, please leave. Go on. Shoo-shoo." Ashleen motioned them with her trunk to leave. The others did so as the doors closed behind them. "Now we shall begin," she said as she floated beween the two beds. Cream allowed Peridot to take the necklace; she placed it on the bed side table.
Dreamy pink mist flowed from Ashleen's body. The mist entertwined with both Charmy and Cream by wrapping around one of their wrists. The tapir began to mutter the spell as fatigue came upon Cream. Her eyelids fell heavy as Cream closed her eyes. Peridot gave a silent prayer in hope that this will work.

Ruby picks a flower and smells it. She then sneezes, which causes the petals to scatter about.

Diana picks a flower and gives it to Trip. Trip pulls her into a happy hug.
Cream opened her eyes to find herself in a bustling city. The city is dank, gray, and filled with sorrow. "What a sad place," she said with sorrow. As she lowered her head, she noticed her clothes had changed.
Her simple dress was pure white all over. Tied into bows on her ears were simple white ribbons. Her shoes were brown tied sandals with white stockings. On her back was a pair of fairy wings with faded green coloring.
"I'm a fairy?!" she said in shock. "Anything can happen in the world of dreams," a voice caught her attention. She noticed three transparent spirits floating nearby. "Blaze?! Silver!? Cheese!?" she said in shock and ran over to them. Suddenly, she ran right through them. She turned around to face them.
"The tapir used her magic to allow our spirits to aid you," Blaze said. "I wish we could free you all from those gems," Cream lamented. Cheese tried to comfort her, but his hand went through her head. He sadly floated back a few inches. "Thanks for being so kind, Cheese,' Cream said.
Nearby, a gateway of light appeared in front of them. "Cream, you must find the dream flower and use the wind from your wings," Silver explained. "Okay. I'll do my best," Cream said as she walked through the gateway while shielding her eyes from the bright light.
Cream found herself in a meadow with flower buds and dry grass. "To move on, you must make the flowers bloom," Ashleen's voice echoed. "How do I do it?" Cream wondered. She then looked back at her wings. "Maybe these wings can help."
As soon as she began to use her wings to fly, a nearby flower bloomed and released a petal into the wind. As she moved, the petal followed her. Using the wind, she made more flowers bloom as more petals followed her.
Pretty soon, all the flowers bloomed brightly. Suddenly, the meadow grass came to life. "Wow. It's so pretty," Cream said in awe. Cheese's spirit appeared nearby and called out to her. She followed him over the hill to a canyon...
But the canyon was completely devoid of every kind of color except gray. "Chao chao," Cheese squeaked. "Really? Make lots of flowers bloom to bring color back?" Cream responded. Cheese nodded as he faded away.
Cream looked out to see flower buds spreading across the small canyon. "I can do this," Cream said as she took a deep breath and flew towards the flower buds.
Meanwhile, Peridot watches as Ashleen continues to use her magic while Cream sleeps. She notices that the green glow around Charmy's body slowly begins to disappear.
"She's doing it," Peridot whispered with a bright smile. Suddenly, she heard rock n roll music in the distance. "Come on, guys. She needs more time," she quietly pled. Whatever crazy attack the enemy was performing, even I hope they can keep it quiet...
In the dream world, Cream is now flying around a hay field at night. Using the flower petals and light magic, she makes the field and the haystacks glow like fireflies.
"It's like summer nights filled with millions of pretty fireflies," she exclaimed with happiness. Blaze's spirit appeared beside her. The cat has a serious face. "Cream, things are going to be a little bit scary up ahead," she warned.
"How scary?" Cream asked. After she asked that, the hanging lamps blinked off and suddenly changed to an eerie red. Silver and Cheese's spirit appeared nearby. "It's 'that' scary," Silver answered.
In the area up ahead, rain began to fall as rusty metal structures rose up from the ground. They sure looked spooky like a construction site abandoned for years. Suddenly, numerous vines surrounded the structures. The structures changed into giant Parasite Roses.
In the real world, a dark aura flowed over Ashleen as she struggled to maintain her meditation. "Ashleen?! What's going on!?" exclaimed Peridot with shock. "Lilia... must be using... her... powers...," Ashleen groaned.
"She must want the bee to sleep until she gets the gem back," Peridot deduced. She looked at the sleeping kids and held a determined face. "But Ashleen's not the only one that knows dream magic!" she said and got into a meditation position.
In the dream world, Lilia made her appearance from a blooming Parasite Rose. "Lilia?!" the group said in shock. Lilia looked down at them with a sneer.
"It looks like the dream world has quite the amazing power," Lilia stated. Blaze's fists burned as she activated her fire powers. "Power that you shouldn't tamper with!" the cat hissed. "Now get out of Cream's dream now!"
"You heard Blaze! Get out!" Silver yelled. Cheese chirped in agreement. "I can see that I'm not your favorite person, but I would like the gem back before he wakes up," Lilia said in her fake innocent tone.
A light came from her chest as a sword handle materialized from it. Lilia grasped the handle and pulled out a celestial sword. Her outfit changed to her holy knight uniform as she lept down from the rose and landed in front of them.
"In my dreams, I am still the true reincarnation of a powerful warrior in my world: The Holy Sword Maiden," Lilia said as she got into a battle position. "And your actions stripped you of that title it seems!" Blaze said as she used her magic to create a flaming sword.
"Keep going Cream! We'll keep her and her plants busy!" Silver ordered as he used his telekinetic powers on the vines. Knowing that she might not see the pair again in this dream, Cream flew away with a heavy heart.
"My babies and I aren't the only big change I made around here," Lilia said. "Don't underestimate Cream! Or us!" Blaze exclaimed as the pair began to sword fight.
Cheese flew beside Cream as she tried not to look back. He chirped something to comfort her. "I know Cheese, but if I save Charmy, we can find a way to save them... and you," Cream responded.
Suddenly, a giant scaly black tail whacked Cheese, flinging him into the sky. "Cheese!" Cream screamed as she saw him change into a spirit and vanished from the dream. A giant black godzilla like lizard blocked her path as he roared at her. "I am Night Skink the Gemdemon of nightmares!" he hissed. Cream shuddered in fear as if she was frozen solid.
"Don't give up, Cream!" Peridot's voice echoed. "Peridot? Is that you? Where are you?" Cream wondered as she began to look around. "I'm using my dream powers to speak with you," Peridot's voice answered. "Remember, follow the love in your heart, and you can do anything," Peridot's voice said.
In the real world, Peridot is still in her meditation pose as a dreamy pink aura flowed around her. The aura disappears as she opened her eyes. She smiles proudly as she looked at Cream. "You can take it from here," she says.
Back in the dream world, Cream thought about what Peridot said to her. "Follow the love in my heart..." she repeated. Night Skink roared loudly to get her attention. Something inside Cream snapped as she began to glare at him. The skink looked confused at her expression.
"You won't stop me!" Cream exclaimed as the flower petals flew around her in circles.
Petal Flash!
The petals gave off a bright shine as they began to circle around the giant skink. He roared in pain as he shrank down to the size of a regular skink. He disappeared in a bright light.
Meanwhile, Blaze used her flaming sword and broke the blade of Lilia's sword. "Cream believes I can beat you!" Blaze declared as she held her sword towards Lilia. Suddenly, the witch disappeared along with her roses, which turn in millions of flower petals, as the scenery changed to a nature paradise. Blaze and Silver smiled as they both disappeared.
As the petals resumes their flying positions behind her, Cream sees something. Up ahead, there is a window floating in the sky. On the still is a small plant pot, yet nothing is growing from inside it.
"That must be the Dream flower," she said. She directed the petals towards the pot. The petals zoomed into the pot's soil as a flower starts to grow from the pot. When the last petal vanished into the pot, the potted flower bloomed with a dreamy pink sheen.
A magical power errupts from the small flower as Cream shields her eyes from the blinding light.
Suddenly Cream gasped as she woke up in the real world. Ashleen's aura faded away as she got out of her meditation pose. She looked at Cream with a smile. As Cream looked at a shiny ruby that suddenly appeared on her lap, the tapir smiled warmly. "Must be the Gemdemon," Cream said as she held the ruby. "She is truly one brave child," Ashleen whispered. Ashleen turned to Peridot and said, "Let the others know what happened." Peridot gave a peppy salute and left the room.
"Charmy?" Cream said. Ashleen noticed that the girl got off her bed and was next to Charmy. The gem in his helmet gave off the sound of a tinkling bell as the aura vanished.
Charmy's eyes opened up, then he began to stretch. "(yawn) What's going on here? I feel like I've been hearing a rock concert in the distance," he sleepily said.
