About a week after Rau decided to join the Rebellion, the Ghost jumped out of Hyperspace along with a Hammerhead corvette and two A-wings as they entered the Mykapo system and began to approach the planet of Mykapo.

"Hey, did Fulcrum say how long it'd be before the Empire invades Mykapo?" Ezra asked Hera as he sat in the seat of the Ghost's nose gun before he looked up at the Twi'lek, who was sitting on the ship's pilot seat and Sabine sitting on the ship's co-pilot seat with Chopper standing between them as Zeb sat on the seat behind Hera, while Kanan sat on the seat across from him and behind the female Mandalorian.

"No, but Commander Sato has connections here, and he said rebel sympathizers were eager to evacuate," Hera answered.

"I think we may be too late," Kanan told her as he walked up next to her and placed his left hand over the back of the ship's pilot seat before they all heard the sound of lasers being fired in the distance as four TIE fighters were chasing a Corellian YT-2400 light freighter that was carrying cargo crates on the bottom of the ship with a Gozanti-class cruiser chasing the YT-2400 light freighter, behind the TIE fighters.

"Imperial transport plus four TIEs," Sabine reported as Kanan and Zeb walked out of the cockpit to the ship's other turrets as its door slid open, "They haven't spotted us yet."

"They're distracted," Ezra told her, "Got their sights locked on that freighter."

"They've got cargo of some kind," Hera stated as she noticed the cargo crates attached to the bottom of the YT-2400 light freighter, "Maybe they're smugglers."

"I wonder why they're not jumping to light speed," Sabine said as she turned towards Hera.

"They're gonna need our help, Sab'ika," Ezra told his wife as he looked up at her.

"Phoenix transport, proceed with the mission to the planet's surface," Hera said as she spoke into the Ghost's communications system.

"Yes, Captain," Rex responded from the Ghost's communications system.

"Phoenix Two and three, move in on my command. Protect that freighter," Hera ordered both of the A-wings' pilots with the Ghost's communications system.

"Copy that, Phoenix Leader," a masculine voice replied from the Ghost's communications system before the A-wings along with the Ghost began to fly towards the YT-2400 light freighter to protect it, while the Hammerhead corvette began to fly down towards the planet below.

As this was happening, the YT-2400 light freighter flew back around and flew into one of the TIE fighters with its hull, destroying the TIE fighter as the freighter remained undamaged as they fired upon the Gozanti-class cruiser with its 1D servo turret mounted dual laser cannons that were on top of the freighter.

"They're attacking the Empire head-on!" Ezra observed.

"Better talk some sense into them, Hera," Sabine told Hera as she clicked a few buttons above her with her right hand's index finger.

"Attention, YT-2400 freighter. We're here to assist," Hera said, contacting the YT-2400 light freighter with the Ghost's communications system.

"Thanks, but we don't need your help," they heard a teenage masculine voice reply from the Ghost's communications system.

"Sounds like a kid," Kanan muttered from the Ghost's rear cannon as he fired lasers from the laser cannons at the TIE fighters, destroying two of them as Ezra fired the laser cannons of the ship's nose gun at the last remaining TIE fighter, destroying it instantly as well.

"You're clear," Hera told the pilot of the YT-2400 light freighter, "Now make your jump! Get outta here!"

"Negative," the pilot of the YT-2400 light freighter responded, "Whoever you are, the Iron Squadron doesn't run."

The YT-2400 light freighter flew towards the Gozanti-class cruiser, which began firing its laser cannons at it, only for it to miss as the YT-2400 light freighter deployed the cargo crates that it was carrying.

As the cargo crates were deployed from the YT-2400 light freighter, they flew towards the Gozanti-class cruiser as the YT-2400 light freighter flew away from the Gozanti-class cruiser as the Gozanti-class cruiser fires its laser cannons at the crates, only for the ship's lasers to miss most of the cargo crates as they collided with the Gozanti-class cruiser in multiple locations, causing an explosion as the cargo crates began to cripple the Gozanti-class cruiser.

"They just bombed the Imperial transport with cargo?" Sabine said with disbelief in her voice as Ezra and Hera shielded their eyes from the brightness of the explosion with their left arms.

"Whoo-hoo-hoo! Yeah!" The pilot of the YT-2400 said with an excited tone in his voice from the Ghost's communications system.

"Wow, the Empire's retreating," Ezra muttered with disbelief in his voice as he leaned forward in the nose gun's seat for a second before leaning backwards as the crippled Gozanti-class cruiser left the system as it jumped into Hyperspace.

"Nice work, Iron Squadron," Hera complimented the pilot of the YT-2400 light freighter with the Ghost's communications system.

"We've been battling the Empire for a while now. Why don't you come over?" The pilot of the YT-2400 light freighter offered as Kanan and Zeb reentered the ship's cockpit as the door slid back open before sliding back shut behind them, "We should probably show you a few tricks."

"Sounds like an invitation," Ezra said from the nose gun as he looked up at his wife, Hera, Kanan and Zeb.

"I have to report in first," Hera told the pilot of the YT-2400 light freighter before standing up and stood in front of Kanan, who had his arms crossed as Zeb stood behind him, "Kanan, why don't you take a team to the planet? Asist the evacuation."

"All right," Kanan said as she walked past him, "Good luck with Iron Squadron."

"Sounds like a ship full of Ezras," Zeb muttered as they turned around as Hera left the cockpit with the cockpit's door sliding back open again, "Let's get out of here."

With that said, the Phantom II detached from the Ghost's docking mechanism and flew towards Mykapo with both of the A-wings.

"The Iron Squadron," a hologram of Sato, who had his arms behind his back repeated with disbelief in his voice from the Ghost's holotable within the ship's common room after he heard Hera's report of the evacuation of Mykapo with Hera sitting on one side of the holotable and Ezra sitting on the other side of the holotable as Chopper rolled towards the holotable, "That was my brother's detachment." He then removed his arms from his back, "He was killed on Mykapo, and I feared his son, Mart Mattin, was dead too. Blasted boy. Never responded to my transmissions. He was always somewhat rebellious."

"Yeah, that sounds like him," Hera said, confirming what the pilot of the YT-2400 was acting like.

"Please, make sure my nephew escapes safely with the others," Sato requested as he turned towards Hera, "Bring him to Atollon if you can."

"We'll get him, Commander Sato," Ezra assured Sato as he turned away from Hera and towards him.

The Ghost soon docked with the YT-2400 light freighter as Hera, Chopper and both Mandalorians walked through the airlock from the Ghost as they entered the YT-2400 light freighter before a door in front of them slid open as they saw a white skinned Theelin with purple markings, pink hair that was dyed cyan in the back and green eyes sitting on top of a crate in the room across from them.

The Theelin was wearing some form of clothes with her top being colored silver and beige with a device over her chest, gloves over her hands and greenish-blue colored pants, causing both Mandalorians to look at each other before a human male with light skin, blue eyes and blond hair that was shaved appeared in the doorway as he was wearing similar clothes to the Theelin, but with his pants being gray instead of blue.

"Welcome aboard," the human male greeted them, "We'll take you to our captain." The Theelin then hopped off the crate as they began walking through the ship and saw that the ship had some problems as they heard electricity spark above them.

"Ship needs a little work," Sabine muttered as air from the ship's cooling system hissed into her face from above.

"Try not to touch anything. It's organized the way we like it," the Theelin told them.

"If you like a junk pile," Sabine muttered as she crossed her arms.

"Sab'ika, be nice," Ezra urged his wife, not wanting a fight between her and the Theelin as they entered the ship's Hyperdrive room.

Inside the Hyperdrive room was an R3-series astromech droid colored yellow and silver with red and blue over its coverings for its utility arms with male programming as he was repairing the ship's Hyperdrive before Chopper grunted as he saw the R3-series astromech droid, which turned his dome around towards him as he looked at looked at Chopper chirped at him before Chopper grunted again.

"Whoa. Your Hyperdrive doesn't work?" Ezra said with disbelief in his voice as he noticed that their Hyperdrive wasn't operational.

"We don't need a fancy Hyperdrive," the human male told him, "Mart's the best pilot in the galaxy."

"Chopper can fix it," Ezra told him as Chopper rolled forward before the R3-series astromech droid rolled towards him as Chopper pulled out both of his metal arms with the R3-series astromech droid doing the same for his utility arms as they began fighting as the Theelin placed both of her hands on their domes to separate them and to stop the two astromech droids from fighting, "Whoa, whoa, whoa, hey! Back off!"

"Yeah, well, R3 fixes things around here," the Theelin explained as they began to leave the room with Chopper grunting as he followed her before he placed his metal arms back inside his dome with the R3-series astromech droid doing the same with his utility arms and its covering.

"Chop, just let it go," Ezra told Chopper.

"Hey, Captain," the human male said as they approached their pilot, who was a human male with light skin, brown eyes and brown hair, wearing a yellow and dark bluish rebel pilot's uniform with brown pants as he sat in a seat within the ship's cockpit as he was using a device in his hands, "Company's here."

"Uh-huh," the ship's pilot muttered.

"So, you guys are the entire Iron Squadron?" Sabine asked them with disbelief in her voice, "The three of you?"

"Nice. You can count," the ship's pilot said as he looked at her with the corner of his eye.

"Hey, I'm Ezra. That's Hera, my wife, Sabine and uh, Chopper," Ezra said, pointing at each of them as he introduced each of them to the Iron Squadron as Sabine had her left hand over her hip.

"I'm Gooti," the Theelin told them, introducing herself before introducing the rest of the Iron Squadron to them, "Jonner, R3 and that's Mart."

"Mart?" Ezra repeated, "Uh, I think we know your uncle."

"So, you know Commander Sato," Mart realized as he turned around towards them in his seat and set the device that he was holding in his hands down, "He ordered you to come get me?"

"We're part of his Phoenix Squadron, a rebel group fighting the Empire," Hera answered, "We came here to help anti-Imperial dissidents like yourselves evacuate."

"What does 'evacuate' mean?" Jonner asked before chuckling.

"It means run away like a coward," Mart answered as he crossed his legs upwards as he as he sat in his seat with his hands behind the back of his head, "Unless you didn't notice, we fight and make the Empire evacuate."

"They'll be back," Hera warned them.

"Can we eat?" Gooti asked as she placed some space waffles on the table next to Mart and Jonner, "I'm starving."

"Oh, let me in there!" Jonner exclaimed as he took one of the space waffles with his left hand with Mart doing the same with another of the space waffles before Jonner sniffed his space waffle, "Hmm." He then went to eat it before he turned around towards Hera, Ezra and Sabine, "Oh, hey, you want some?"

"Thank you, but we don't have time," Hera declined as Jonner went to hand his space waffle to her, "Let me debrief you on our plan to-"

"How debrief is this gonna be?" Jonner asked the Twi'lek as he interrupted her.

"Look, it doesn't matter," Mart said as he threw the space waffle that he was holding backwards with his left hand, "We're not going anywhere."

"You can't stay here and fight the Empire alone," Ezra stated, trying to reason with them.

"What do you think we've been doing?" Mart asked them.

"If we hadn't jumped in and helped you back there-" Hera began to say.

"Helped us? We had everything under control," Mart argued as he interrupted her, "Didn't you see how we chased off that Star Destroyer?"

"Yeah, that was not a Star Destroyer. It was only a transport," Sabine corrected him.

"You're all very brave," Hera told them, "But once the Empire arrives in full force, that won't matter."

"This is our world and we aren't just gonna leave so some Imperial goons can take it," Mart argued as he stood up.

"We're not gonna run," Jonna said, agreeing with him.

"Not now, not ever," Gooti added as she had her arms crossed before she lowered them and placed her left hand over her hip.

Meanwhile in the Lothal System, a Star Destroyer with a stylized depiction of a three headed mythical creature known as a Chimaera engraved on the ventral side of its hull with the Star Destroyer also being named 'the Chimaera' with two other Star Destroyers behind it hovered near the planet.

Thrawn was the captain of the Star Destroyer as he stood inside the Star Destroyer's aft-bridge, studying a Star Map that was being projected from the holotable in the room with his arms behind his back and two stormtroopers standing on opposite sides of the room's entrance.

Suddenly, the entrance to the aft-bridge slid open with an Imperial officer that had a stylized expression of a Chimaera painted over both sides of their tunic's shoulder entered the room with Konstantine and Faro.

"The blockade over Synistahg is proceeding as planned," the Imperial officer reported to the Grand Admiral as the aft-bridge's entrance slid back shut, "Martial law has been declared on Mykapo, but a small pocket of resistance continues to be troublesome."

"Mykapo has no armed militia or starfighter corps," Thrawn told him, "What resistance is there to be so troublesome?"

"One ship calling themselves the Iron Squadron recently attacked an advance patrol with the aid of this rebel vessel," the Imperial officer answered as the holotable's holoprojection switched from the Star Map to the Ghost.

"Oh, the Ghost," Thrawn observed, "They're likely evacuating the treasonous inhabitants before we can arrest them. As for this Iron Squadron, very curious. Commander Faro, what do you make of this?" Faro then stepped forward and studied the hologram of the Ghost.

"It's possible that they're working with other rebel cells in the area," Faro suggested, "We should increase our patrols and tighten our security measures to prevent any further attacks."

"Agreed," Thrawn said, agreeing with his second-in-command before he looked at Konstantine with the corner of his eye as he placed his arms behind his back, "Admiral Konstantine, go to Mykapo and lock down the system."

"I will deploy a squadron of ships," Konstantine told him.

"No, Admiral. I want you to handle it yourself," Thrawn said as he held his left hand up for a second, "A single light cruiser should be more than sufficient for a man of your talents."

"You would send me in one ship?" Konstantine asked the Chiss Grand Admiral with disbelief in his voice.

"Unless you're not up to it," Thrawn explained.

"I will leave immediately," Konstantine replied as he nodded his head before leaving the Chimaera's aft-bridge with the Imperial officer as the aft-bridge's entrance slid back open before it slid back shut behind them.

Back in the Mykapo System, the Phantom II was flying back towards the Ghost, which was still docked with the YT-2400 light freighter with a couple of Taylander shuttles and a Hammerhead-class corvette flying near the planet as both the Ghost and YT-2400 were stationary as the Sheathipede-class shuttle rotated around as it docked with the VCX-100 light freighter's docking mechanism.

Inside the Ghost's common room, Zeb and Kanan climbed down the ladder from the Phantom II as Hera sat the couch surrounding the holotable with Sabine sitting on one of the stools in front of the holotable as Ezra stood behind his wife with his arms behind his back before a hologram of Rex was being projected from the holoprojector with his arms crossed as Kanan approached them as he crossed his arms as well.

"Well, we have cleared the planet of everyone who wanted to get out before the Empire returns," Rex reported to them.

"Prepare to rendezvous with the fleet," Hera told him, "We'll meet you there."

"What about Iron Squadron?" Kanan asked her as he looked at her as the holotable's holoprojector switched back off.

"They're not coming," Hera answered, "I'll tell Sato."

"Hera, wait," Ezra said as the Twi'lek stood back up, "Let me try again."

"You don't have time," Hera argued, "Their ship has no Hyperdrive and the Empire will be back sooner than later."

"Right, but Sabine had an idea," Ezra told her.

"Hmm?" Sabine muttered before remembering what her husband was talking about, "Oh, yeah. Chop and I can try to fix their Hyperdrive. At least that'll give them a chance to escape."

"Ah, all right," Hera sighed, "But I want you all out of there, soon as possible, whether you convince them to leave or not."

"I got it. Uh, we got it, right, Cyar'ika?" Ezra asked his wife as he embraced her and Chopper in a hug before the astromech droid grunted a response as Kanan and Hera looked at each other for a second before Hera looked back at them.

The Ghost soon detached from the YT-2400 light freighter as it began to depart from the Mykapo System before the Phantom II detached from the Ghost and rotated around as it docked with the YT-2400 light freighter's airlock.

A while later inside the Hyperdrive room of the YT-2400 light freighter, Sabine and Chopper were helping R3 fix the Hyperdrive as Chopper pounded a tool on the Hyperdrive with his right metal arm as Sabine stood at the Hyperdrive's computer system, while Ezra, Jonner, Gooti and Mart watched from the edge of the room.

"This is a waste of time," Mart muttered before he turned away from them as he left the room.

"If we can't get your Hyperdrive working, you'll have to come with us on our ship," Ezra told Jonner and Gooti.

"If Mart isn't going, we're not going," Jonner stated as Gooti crossed her arms.

"This might be just a planet to you, but it's our home," Gooti said, agreeing with Jonner as she lowered her arms and placed her fists over her hips.

"Look, I was forced to leave my ancestral home of Tehron in Mandalore Space when I was five years old when Governor Saxon of Mandalore massacred my clan," Ezra told them, "After that, I was so afraid, despite being a Mandalorian and was lost my sense of my Mandalorian identity for a long time until I met Sabine here who helped me recover from the trauma of the massacre of my clan."

"Aww. Thanks, Ez'ika," Sabine said as she looked at her husband with a smile on her face.

"Ha! We're not afraid of the Empire," Gooti stated as she scoffed at what he just said.

"I know you're not," Ezra told her, "You're afraid of losing everything, like I did."

"So you understand why we do what we do," Jonner realized as he looked at him.

"I understand that the Empire wants us to fight because that makes it easier for them to destroy us," Ezra explained.

"So you're saying we should do nothing?" Gooti asked the Mandalorian with disbelief in her voice.

"No. I'm saying how we choose to fight is just as important as what we fight for," Ezra explained when the power turned on for a few seconds before turning itself back off, surprising him?" Chopper then grunted a response as he looked at the female Mandalorian.

"What do you mean, the power is being rerouted? To where?" Sabine asked Chopper as she leaned down towards him before he grunted a response as she stood back up, "The guns and the shields?"

"Mart," Gooti realized.

"Fixing the Hyperdrive is useless if the power isn't switched back," Sabine told them.

"Iron Squadron, get to your battle stations now!" They suddenly heard Mart say through the ship's intercom, which had an electronic feedback as he switched it on.

As Mart said that, Ezra, Sabine, Jonner, Gooti and both astromech droids left the Hyperdrive room as they began to head towards the ship's cockpit.

As they entered the cockpit with its door sliding open, they saw two Gozanti-class cruisers being led by an Imperial Light Cruiser in the distance before the Gozanti-class Cruisers detached three TIE fighters from their docking ports with TIE bombers being docked with their other docking ports.

"There's one small freighter," an Imperial officer reported to Konstantine, who was standing on the bridge of the Imperial Light Cruiser.

"Thrawn overestimated these rebels," Konstantine muttered to himself.

"Finally, a Star Destroyer!" Mart exclaimed, mistaking the Imperial Light Cruiser for a Star Destroyer.

"No, that's a light cruiser," Sabine corrected him as she walked up to him, "Star Destroyers are six times that big."

"Yeah, well, prepare for battle anyway," Mart told them, dismissing the odds of their victory against the Imperial Light Cruiser.

"Mart, you can't be serious!" Ezra said with disbelief in his voice.

"Look, we need to get to the Phantom. It's time to go," Sabine told Mart, agreeing with her husband.

"You need to come with us now!" Ezra added, trying to convince Mart to come with them.

"Mart, maybe he's right," Gooti said, agreeing with him as Mart began to pilot the YT-2400 light freighter towards the Imperial fighters.

"That's a lot of Imperial ships, and they say there are even more on the way," Jonner stated, agreeing with them as he pointed at the ship's viewport with his left hand's index finger for a second before he lowered his left arm.

"What's with you two?" Mart asked them as he noticed their change in attitude.

"They're not ready to die," Ezra explained as the TIE fighters headed towards them as they began firing their laser cannons at the YT-2400 light freighter.

"Come on, buddy!" Jonner said, pleading with Mart to come with them.

"We have no choice," Gooti added as the ship's alarms began to go off.

"Fine, fine. Let's go," Mart said, finally agreeing with them as Jonner and Gooti ran towards the cockpit's entrance with the door sliding back open and ran through it before Sabine and Ezra followed them as Mart stood back up and looked at the Gozanti-Class Cruisers and Imperial Light Cruiser from the ship's viewport for a second before following them out of the ship's cockpit.

As they entered the Phantom II, Sabine climbed into the Sheathipede-class shuttle first before Jonner and Gooti did the same with Chopper using his rocket booster as he flew into the shuttle.

"Hurry it up!" Sabine ordered them as she sat down on the shuttle's co-pilot seat as R3 used his rocket booster to fly into the shuttle as well before Ezra climbed into the shuttle.

"Mart, hurry!" Ezra urged Mart as Mart, who was outside the airlock pressed a button on a panel next to the airlock with his right hand's index finger, causing the airlock's door to slide shut.

"No!" Jonner yelled, not wanting to leave his captain as Mart pressed another button on the panel with his right hand's index finger, disengaging the airlock with it.

"He disengaged the airlock," Ezra stated as he sat down on the shuttle's pilot seat as the Phantom II began to drift away from the YT-2400 light freighter.

"Look!" Jonner said as he pointed at the shuttle's viewport as he saw Mart piloting the YT-2400 light freighter towards the Imperials.

"What's he thinking?" Ezra asked before contacting Mart with the Phantom II's communications system, "Mart, we're coming in. You need to get out of there."

"No! Jump! Get Gooti and Jonner to safety while you still can," Mart argued from the cockpit of the YT-2400 light freighter before he began to fight the TIE fighters head-on.

Ezra then began to follow Mart with the Phantom II as the Gozanti-Class Cruisers began to fire their laser cannons at the YT-2400 light freighter with their lasers being absorbed by its shields before Mart pounded his right fist onto the ship's control stick, causing the cargo containers that it was carrying to begin flying towards the Imperial Light Cruiser.

"Incoming targets," the Imperial officer that was standing next to Konstantine on the Imperial Light Cruiser reported to the admiral.

"Intercept with the forward batteries," Konstantine ordered before the Imperial Light Cruiser began firing its turbolasers at the cargo containers.

"I got 'em. I got 'em!" Mart said, happily, believing that he destroyed the Imperial Light Cruiser as the Phantom II appeared through the smoke that was created by the explosion before the TIE fighters began flying towards the YT-2400 light freighter and began firing their laser cannons at it, "I didn't get them."

He then began to pilot the YT-2400 light freighter again as the TIE fighters began firing their laser cannons at its engines before one of their lasers collided with it, causing an explosion from its engines, leaving the YT-2400 light freighter stranded in space.

"His engines are hit," Sabine observed as she saw the YT-2400 light freighter being stranded in space as the Phantom II flew past the YT-2400 light freighter, "Power's fried from the coupling."

"What are you doing?" Jonner asked Sabine as he looked at her.

"We have to go," she explained.

"No, we have to save him," Jonner argued.

"Hera gave you a direct order and you said you would follow it," Sabine reminded Ezra as she saw that he had a conflicted look on his face.

"Mart, do you read?" Ezra said, contacting Mart with the Phantom II's communications system.

"Ezra, go," Mart ordered the Mandalorian as he answered Ezra's transmission, "Get my friends out of here."

"We'll come back for you," Ezra promised Mart before the Phantom II jumped into Hyperspace as it left the Mykapo System.

"Come on. Come on!" Mart muttered as he struggled to turn the YT-2400 light freighter's power back on in the cockpit as he clicked buttons on its console with his index fingers and thumbs before the power in the room whirred and sputtered back on for a second before turning back off as he saw a TIE bomber flying towards the ship on the left side and deployed an explosive charge on the ship's hull before flying back towards the Gozanti-Class Cruisers, "Whatever they're up to, it can't be good. I really did it this time."

"Admiral, the mine is armed, and the rebel ship is attempting to beam out a transmission," the Imperial officer reported to Konstantine as they had their arms behind their backs as he walked back towards him on the Imperial Light Cruiser's bridge.

"Excellent," Konstantine replied as he turned around towards him, "Monitor it. If the rebels are as predictable as I believe, they will not ignore a distress call."

Meanwhile on board a CR90 corvette away from the Mykapo System, Hera, Kanan, Zeb, Ezra, Sabine, Mira, Ephraim, Markus, Jonner, Gooti, Rex, Chopper, R3 and a hologram of Sato were standing in the bridge of the CR90 corvette and around the holotable in the room with Sabine and Zeb having their arms crossed, while Rex had his hands over his hips and Sato having his arms behind his back.

"The Empire has my ship surrounded, but hasn't fired on me yet. I don't know what they're up to. I hate to admit it, but I need your…" A holorecording of Mart told them before his hologram sputtered and disappeared from the holotable.

"Help," Gooti finished for them, "He was going to say help."

"The Empire allowed that part of the transmission to get through, then they cut it off," Hera explained to everyone.

"I will go," Sato volunteered as he removed his arms from his back.

"Commander, you're too far away," Hera told him, "You'd never make it in time."

"She's right, Commander," Markus said, agreeing with the Twi'lek, "By the time you get there, the Empire may have killed him by then."

"I agree as well," Mira told Sato, "If you go there, your nephew may be killed by the time you reach the Mykapo System by the Empire."

"I am all the family he has left," Sato explained.

"Still, you are too far away to help him, Commander Sato," Ephraim reminded him, "Captain Syndulla should help him instead."

"Ephraim's right," Hera said, agreeing with him, "Let me take the Ghost, go in quietly and get him out of there."

"You have my gratitude, Captain, you too, Ephraim," Sato told them, accepting their offer before his hologram disappeared as the room's lights turned back on.

"Wait, you're really going back? I'm…" Gooti began to say with surprise in her voice as she spoke to Ezra as the rest of the Ghost crew left the CR90 corvette's bridge as Sabine and Zeb lowered their arms, "We are all for helping Mart, but it's obviously a trap."

"If it's obviously a trap, it's not a very good one," Ezra told her as he began to follow his wife and the others out of the CR90 corvette's bridge, "We were outnumbered before, but we're going back as a team, and that'll give Mart a fighting chance."

"All right if we tag along?" Gooti asked as she and Jonner followed Ezra into the Ghost's cockpit along with R3 and Chopper as Sabine sat down on the ship's co-pilot seat.

"We saved you both a seat," Ezra answered as he climbed down the ladder to the ship's nose gun as the Ghost detached and flew away from the CR-90 corvette and jumped into Hyperspace.

Mart tried clicking buttons on the console of his YT-2400 light freighter to restart the ship as he was still sitting on the seat in the ship's cockpit, only for it to not respond and pounded on the control stick before he heard a beeping sound as the Ghost suddenly jumped out of Hyperspace as it reentered the Mykapo System.

"Look alive, Mart. We're back," Sabine said from the Ghost.

"I don't believe it," Mart muttered to himself as he saw the Ghost flying towards him and his YT-2400 light freighter.

"The rebel ship known as the Ghost has re-entered the system," the Imperial officer reported to Konstantine as he walked back towards him.

"I want to destroy both ships at once," Konstantine told him, "Do not trigger the mine until I order it."

"Kanan, keep those TIEs off us," Hera ordered the Jedi Knight as TIE fighters began to fly towards them as they were deployed from the Gozanti-class cruisers as Kanan sat on the seat of the ship's rear cannon before she turned towards the Theelin, "Gooti, you ready on that hoist?"

"Yes, ma'am," Gooti replied as she slid down the ladder to the cargo hold before she pulled the ship's hoist out of the wall in front of her with her left hand as she took out a comlink to contact Mart with her right hand, "Mart we're coming in."

"Goot, the Empire attached something onto my ship," Mart told them.

"Hmm, probably a magno-mine. Remote detonated," Sabine surmised.

"That changes things," Hera stated before looking at Jonner, "You, big guy, get the droids ready to go outside."

"Yes, ma'am!" Jonner said as he saluted her with his left hand before he stood back up to leave the room with R3 and Chopper, "Come on, droids. Move it!" R3 then chirped a response as Jonner left the room through the cockpit's entrance before Chopper pulled out his left metal arm and waved it at him, sarcastically before placing it back inside his dome as they followed him out of the cockpit.

The Ghost then flew above the Imperial Light Cruiser with Konstantine and the Imperial officer watching as the TIE fighters fired their laser cannons at it as Ezra fired the VCX-100 light freighter's nose gun at the Imperial Light Cruiser, causing an explosion to occur near the ship's bridge as it flew past the Imperial Light Cruiser with Kanan firing the ship's rear cannons back at the TIE fighters.

"Get ready, you two!" Jonner said as he, Chopper and R3 entered the Ghost's cargo hold before they stood by the wall.

"Opening the cargo bay doors," Gooti announced as she pressed a button on the hoist with her right hand's index finger, causing the cargo bay doors to slide open.

"Copy that. Moving into position," Hera replied from the ship's intercom.

"Go!" Jonner ordered both Astromech droids with R3 chirping a response as he was scared before Chopper pulled out both of his metal arms and pushed him out of the ship with his left metal arm before he followed him out of the ship with both astromech droids activating their rocket boosters as they flew towards the crippled YT-2400 light freighter and saw the magno-mine attached to the ship's hull, beeping.

As this happened, the Ghost began to fly away from the crippled YT-2400 light freighter as Kanan continued to fire the ship's rear cannon at the TIE fighters that were chasing them.

"Sir, they broke off the rescue," the Imperial officer told Konstantine as he saw the Ghost flying away from the YT-2400 light freighter, "Perhaps they detected the mine."

As Chopper and R3 flew towards the magno-mine with their rocket booster, they landed in front of it with Mart watching as R3 deployed his utility arms with Chopper pulling out his metal arms as he held a cylinder-shaped tool for removing the magno-mine in his right metal arm.

"Chop, disable the detonator. The red light on top," Sabine told both Astromech droids with their built-in comlinks, "R3, turn off the magnetic clamp, but carefully."

As the female Mandalorian said that, Chopper accidentally stung himself with the magno-mine by the tool that he was holding, causing him to hit R3 before he bumped into him for a second as the magno-mine floated away from them with Chopper flying towards it as he let go of the tool that he was holding that accidentally caused him to get stung by the magno-mine.

"Admiral, I've lost the mine's signal," the Imperial officer reported to Konstantine as he used a computer in front of them on the bridge of the Imperial Light Cruiser.

"Well, get it back!" Konstantine ordered the Imperial officer.

"Hey, care to let me in on the plan?" Mart asked Sabine with his ship's communications system as he saw Chopper grab the magno-mine with his left metal arm as R3 followed him below the ship.

"The droids are attaching the mine to one of your cargo crates," Sabine explained.

"Ah. Ah, I get it," Mart said as he realized what she meant.

Chopper then let go of the magno-mine as he and R3 approached one of the cargo crates below with R3 electrocuting it onto the cargo crates with one of his utility arms before reactivating it as it began beeping rapidly again.

"I've reaquired the mine's signal," the Imperial officer reported to Konstantine.

"Very good," Konstantine replied.

"The bomb is in place, but my ship's not going anywhere," Mart told Hera with his ship's communications system, "Can your droid get me flying again?"

"Sorry. No time for repairs," Hera answered from the Ghost, "Get the droids inside and get ready for a pickup."

"Good job, guys," Mart told Chopper and R3 as he looked at them as they rolled into the cockpit of the YT-2400 light freighter with the door sliding open after they entered the ship.

"They're moving in again," Konstantine said as he saw the Ghost swoop back around towards the crippled YT-2400 light freighter, "Prepare to detonate." As he said that, the Ghost landed on top of the YT-2400 light freighter as they began to dock with it, "We have them. Detonate the mine!"

"I'm… I'm trying," the Imperial officer told him as he tried detonating the magno-mine with the computer that he was standing in front of.

"Gooti, lock onto the ship," Hera ordered the Theelin as the Ghost began to clank off of the YT-2400 light freighter as the Imperial Light Cruiser began firing its turbolasers at them.

"Aah!" Gooti screamed as she nearly fell, only for Jonner to stop her from falling and helped her back to the hoist.

"Hurry! Our shields can't take much more of this!" Hera told Gooti as the Imperial Light Cruiser continued to fire its turbolasers at the Ghost.

"Captain Syndulla, reinforcements have arrived," they suddenly heard Sato say from the ship's communications system.

"Sato," Hera muttered with shock in her voice with Sabine widening her eyes as the Liberator and two A-wings suddenly jumped out of Hyperspace behind them and began firing their turbolasers and laser cannons at the TIE fighters.

"Maintain fire. We must cover those ships," Sato ordered his corvette's pilots as he sat on the command chair in his CR90 corvette's bridge.

"Mart, you are not alone. We will get you out of this," Mart heard the voice of his uncle say over the communications system of his YT-2400 light freighter as he stood up from the ship's pilot seat.

"Uncle Jun," Mart muttered with joy in his voice as he smiled from hearing his uncle's voice.

"It's a rebel command ship," Konstantine said as the Liberator destroyed both Gozanti-class cruisers with its turbolasers and began flying towards his Imperial Light Cruiser, "Call for reinforcements!"

Gooti was clicking buttons on the Ghost's hoist with her right hand's index fingers as the Ghost landed on top of the YT-2400 light freighter with a rumbling and clanking sound as it finally docked with it.

"Got him!" The Theelin announced with a smile on her face.

"Mart, get your bomb ready. We're making a run for that cruiser," Hera told Mart with the Ghost's communications system as the Liberator and A-wings began to attack the Imperial Light Cruiser with their turbolaser and laser cannons.

"Standing by, Captain," Mart replied as he began to set the magno-mine's detonator as well as his cargo crates with his cockpit's console as he clicked a few buttons on it with his right hand's index finger.

"Will you detonate the mine?!" Konstantine ordered the Imperial officer with impatience in his voice.

"It's not responding, sir!" The Imperial officer said, explaining to him why the magno-mine wasn't detonating.

As the Ghost was carrying the YT-2400 light freighter and flew past the Imperial Light Cruiser, Mart pounded his right fist onto his ship's control stick, deploying the cargo crate, which flew towards and collided with the Imperial Light Cruiser's forward compartment, causing an explosion as the magno-mine detonated before the Imperial officer screamed as they were flown backwards and behind one of the bridge's railings.

The Imperial Light Cruiser began to fly downwards a bit as the Ghost began to fly away with the YT-2400 light freighter along with the Liberator and the two A-wings when the Chimaera suddenly jumped out of Hyperspace in front of them.

"Now, that is a Star Destroyer," Sabine told Mart with the Ghost's communications system as Gooti and Jonner walked back into the cockpit with Kanan sitting on the seat behind Hera.

"Okay, then. Let's get out of here," Mart suggested as the Ghost, Liberator and the A-wings swooped back around as the Chimaera deployed TIE fighters from its hangars, which began to fire upon them with their laser cannons.

"Commander Jun Sato," Sato heard Thrawn's voice say from his corvette's communications system, "I wonder what it would take to motivate your return to Mykapo."

"And now you know, Admiral," Sato told the Chiss, "Until we meet again."

"Yes, until we meet again," Thrawn said, agreeing with Sato as he stood on the command walkway of his Star Destroyer with Faro, her eyes focused on the rebels outside the Star Destroyer's viewport.

"Admiral, Thrawn," Faro said as she looked at him, "Our TIE fighters are engaging the rebel ships. Shall I order them to pursue?"

"No, Commander. Let them go… for now," Thrawn answered, "We have gathered valuable intelligence from this encounter."

"Yes, Grand Admiral," Faro replied as the TIE fighters continued to fire upon the A-wings, the Ghost carrying the YT-2400 light freighter and the Liberator before the rebel ships jumped into Hyperspace.

"Admiral Konstantine, you called for assistance?" A hologram of Thrawn asked Konstantine as he and a hologram of Faro appeared in the bridge of the crippled Imperial Light Cruiser from it's holoprojector with his arms behind his back as Konstantine stood back up.

"Quite the contrary, Admiral. I was contacting you to report the rebels have been driven from this system," Konstantine said, lying as he didn't want Thrawn to know the true reason why he contacted him.

"I assume you mean the rebels and their sympathizers escaped?" Thrawn corrected him, causing Konstantine to clear his throat.

"Admiral Konstantine, can you provide more details on the situation on Mykapo?" Faro asked the admiral, "Were there any casualties or damage to Imperial assets?"

"There were some minor skirmishes, but nothing significant," Konstantine answered after a brief hesitation, "The rebels were able to escape with some of their sympathizers."

"We'll need to increase our patrols and tighten our security measures to prevent any further attacks," Faro stated as she nodded a response, taking note of his response, "I'll coordinate with Captain Pellaeon on the Harbinger and the rest of the Seventh Fleet to implement these changes."

"Very well, Commander," Thrawn muttered as he nodded in agreement, "Keep me updated on your progress."

Later on Atollon and after the Ghost detached the YT-2400 light freighter and placed it on one of the landing spots at Chopper Base with the Ghost being landed on the landing spot across from the one that the YT-2400 light freighter was at.

The ramps of both ships lowered as Hera, Kanan, Sabine, and Ezra along with Gooti and Jonner walked down the Ghost's ramp as Mart, Chopper and R3 walked down the ramp of the YT-2400 light freighter as Sato, Mira, Ephraim and Rex approached Mart before Sato placed his arms behind his back as Mart shrugged his shoulders.

"It is good to see you alive, Mart," Sato told his nephew as he placed his left hand over Mart's right shoulder as Rex crossed his arms, while Mira and Ephraim smiled at each other before Mart hugged him, causing Sato to embrace him in a hug as well.

"Uncle Jun, thank you for coming," Mart said, thanking his uncle for coming to his rescue.

"Of course," Sato muttered as they stopped hugging before he gestured to Hera and the rest of the Ghost crew as well as both Gooti and Jonner as they began approaching them, "But we are also indebted to Captain Syndulla and her crew."

"Yeah!" Jonner yelled as he ran up to Mart before he hugged him with Gooti following him as she laughed.

"I can't believe it! You guys came back!" Mart said with shock in his voice.

"What did you expect?" Gooti asked him with disbelief in her voice as Mart punched Jonner playfully in the stomach with his left fist.

"We're the Iron Squadron!" Jonner added as he pulled them in for a hug for a split second with his arms as they began laughing, "Yeah!" Everyone else watched them with smiles on their faces as they saw Mart, Gooti and Jonner cheering before Chopper pulled his left metal arm out from his dome as he rolled towards R3 and hit him in the dome with it from behind.
