Author's Note: Here we are. We're at the season finale. It isn't exactly how I want it, but I made it work. Of course it had end with Ju. I placed her in front of two red buttons. Which one is she going to choose? And look who else is here! 2P!China makes an appearance. Why is he so interested in her? What does he stand to gain? I might have to look into that next season. We might see how the party turns out by then. I am going to have to do something different then too. I don't know. I am going to have to see. For now, enjoy this season finale.

Match Thirty-Four: Gold, Silver, and Decision:

-Ju-

I have to make a choice. Feliciano has turned into a devil. There is a man who looks like my husband sitting across from me. I do now know who he is. He took a drag of his cigarette.

"So, talk to me," he said. "What is on your mind?" Should I tell him? The red flags are screaming in my head. But I don't know where to go. I don't know where Yao is. We got separated a while and I still haven't found him.

I sat down in the chair in front of him.

"The host of this party gave me a choice," I said. This man with my husband's face raised his eyebrow.

"What kind of a choice?" he asked. I looked down at my hands and took a breath.

"He put the fate of the world in my hands," I said.

"Oh?" he asked.

"Silver or gold," I said.

"What does that mean?" the man asked. I sat back in my chair and took a breath.

Gold

If I choose gold…

"There will be a war that will kill most of the planet. The human race will fight against each other in an endless war. Half of the human race will die. However, the worst of it will only last for two years.

"There will be peace for ten years. But mankind will struggle. That will lead to more people dying but the death rate will be slower. Only a few will make it out alive. From there, a new world will be built."

"That sounds fancy," that strange man said. I frowned.

"There is a price," I said.

"A price?" he asked. I nodded once.

"Someone in my bloodline will have to fetch threw gold boxes. It won't be me who does this. I don't know if it will be my son or one of his descendants. I don't know when they will have to do it. Only they will know where to find the boxes or how to get there."

"What will happen to you?"

I shook my head. "I don't know." I felt his eyes on me. I tried not to look into his eyes.

"There is something you're not telling me," he said. I felt myself shrinking in my chair.

"Come on," he said. "Talk to me." He leaned in closer to me. I couldn't look up at him.

"What did you see?" this man asked. I lifted my chin.

"Fire."

"What else?"

I pressed my lips together. "They were screaming. The children were on fire. I could feel my skin burning. I couldn't breathe." I trembled as I spoke.

"What else?"

I shut my eyes. Why is he doing this to me? I could feel the pain turning in my chest.

"I saw my son." My body went stiff.

"He was dressed up like a warrior." I shiver as my mouth went dry. I tried to get the images out of my head. I didn't want my son to go to war and die. He's my little boy. He's still a baby. Why did that Italian devil show me that? He is not a man. He is not a country anymore. He has become a land of the damned.

"Is that all?" the man who looked like Yao asked.

"Yes," I said.

"You said there was another option. What happens if you choose silver?" he asked. I lifted my chin.

Silver

If I choose silver…

"A plague will consume the world. Most of the population will die. But not all of them. Some of them were going to turn into monsters. Almost like zombies but worse. They call themselves angels."

"Angels, you say?"

"Yes. But they aren't pretty at all."

"Oh?" He said that so calmly. He kept his eyes on me. Who was this man? Why was he so interested in me?

"They look terrifying. They have fangs and claws. I saw them eat flesh and blood." I saw the look in his eyes.

"You don't believe me, do you?" I asked.

"I do actually," the man said. "Please… Carry on. What else comes with silver?" I squirmed in my seat.

"My family will be spared at the cost of others," I said. "My son will still be looking like a warrior. He told me that he would go off to fight this silver warrior. He wouldn't back to me again."

"Aw, you look so pale. Does your son mean that much to you?"

"Of course he does! What kind of a question is that?! He is my son! I don't want this for him!"

"You can't keep him safe forever."

"I know that! You aren't listening to me! Someone is trying to force me to make my son go to a war that has nothing to do with us!"

"But does it really?"

"No!"

"Are you sure about that?"

"Don't play games with me! I just want to find my husband and go home!"

The man put up his hand. "Okay, okay. I apologize. Do continue. What did you see with this option?"

I took a breath. "Fine. I saw a house on fire."

"A house on fire?"

"Yes."

"Did you go inside?"

"Yes."

"And what did you see in there?"

My body tensed up. "There was a man in the corner. He didn't look human." I closed my eyes as I tried to see the man again.

"He was naked and his body was painted in red. He was screaming. From his mouth came out more little faces screaming. There were so many faces. I wanted to run away. But… But…"

"But?"

I lifted my chin. "I couldn't move." I nearly collapsed out of my chair.

Final Decision

This man who looked like my husband whistled at me.

"Wow. That's pretty heavy," he said. I pressed my lips together.

"We all lose no matter what we choose."

"We?"

"I can't be the only one who has had this offer handed to me. If so, why? Why me? What have I done to have this burden on me?" I buried my head in my hands.

"We all lose. No matter what I choose. We all lose."

"Can't you not make choice?" the man asked. I lifted my head.

"It doesn't work that way," I said. "If I don't choose, we still die."

"Hm? How so?" he asked. I shrugged and shook my head.

"That bad, huh?" the man asked. I nodded.

"So what are you going to do?" he asked. "Are you going to choose silver or gold?" I did some thinking about that question. What I thought wasn't really going to matter, was it? I was just one person. Now, I know that one person could change everything. I know that I do matter. But I have to back up for a moment and look at the big picture.

That Italian devil is telling me that my son had to be the sacrificial lamb in both scenarios. I could see who added that part in. I'm mad now. Really mad. I still have to give them an answer. One that I am not going to like. I know what my father would say in a time like this. I let out a small, dry laugh.

I knew what I had to choose.

"Hm? Have you made your choice?" the man with my husband's face asked. "What are you going to choose? Is it going to be silver or gold?" I looked him in the eye. I must have looked insane with that smirk on my face.

I gave him my answer.
