Chapter9: Unplanned fight and sorta good news.
Brunette, round face, rosy cheeks.
These are the defining features of a young girl in front of a run down house. She paces back and forth, looking at the phone in her hands with a worried expression.
Two employees will be here to help at 9:00*
It was currently 8:59
"What if they don't come, we can't move this stuff on our own" She thinks to herself as she looks at the time once more. Just as the clock hits 9:00, she hears a scream from the sky.
"IZUKU WHY WOULD YOU JUMP THAT HIGH-" the voice is cut off by a crash, something falls from the sky hard enough to leave a foot deep crater.
The brunette's soul feels like it leaves her body from the shock. She slowly shuffles to the crater, but before she can even look into the hole made by whatever fell, a small boy jump out.
The imp gasps for air as he rises from the crater. "Are you Uraraka Ochaco?"
"Um…yes" the girl with confusion and worry,
Mineta dusts himself off, grimacing as he stumbles to the girl. "I'm Mineta, and the dumbass coming out of the hole is Midoriya"
The girl hears a groan of annoyance, and the first thing she sees amerge from the crater is a patch of white.
"I over shot the jump, that doesn't make me a dumb-" Midoriya stops his sentence the moment he looks up at the brunette. He's still half way in the crater, the girl standing at the hole's edge, looking down at the white haired cyborg.
"Hi…"
"Hi…"
"... alright, we all said our hellos, you need us to move furniture right?" Minoru asks, he can't explain why, but he didn't enjoy what he was seeing.
The girl tears her eyes away from the cyborg, "yes! Preferably in about 3 hours, well help you out in any way we can."
…
Over the course of two hours, the young cyborgs try to move all the furniture out of the run down house. while simultaneously trying to ignore the tense atmosphere.
The girl would look out the window every couple of minutes, frantically rubbing her arm.
The parents were no better, both sat silently at a worn out dinner table, their heads pressed together, holding each other close.
"Man, must be a rough move" Mineta states as he crams another box into the rather small moving truck.
"Yeah…a move" Midoriya replies as gears turn in his head.
The moving truck wasn't associated with any company, it was rusty and barley functioning. That wasn't enough to raise too much supposition, maybe it was just an older truck.
But Izuku couldn't shake off this feeling, something was definitely wrong. As he prepares to disregard the feeling, Mineta whispers to his friend.
"Izuku, don't react, don't turn around, some guys have been watching us for the past two hours. More keep showing up, there were two before, now there's five." Mineta's voice is trembling, his eyes wide and his breath heavy.
The white haired cyborg flinches abit, almost disobeying Mineta immediately. But he steels himself, forcing a fake smile and turning to the house in the most natural way he can.
"All done, we just need the payment and we'll be on our way", Midoriya holds out his phone, and the father's face looks like he's trying to choke back a sob.
"Is everything ok?" Midoriya asks.
The man quickly fixed his face, straining a smile and replying with a simple "yep".
Neither cyborg believes him, Mineta wants to leave well enough alone, he wants to go home and not get involved with whatever this family is dealing with. He knows that won't happen however, since he's with Midoriya.
"Well alright then, the payment went through, well be on our way"
"Mmh?"
Midoriya grabs his small friend by his hood and drags him out. Mineta doesn't even move, his feet drag along the floor as he's completely bewildered by what Midoriya just did.
"He ignored it… he actually ignored it?" Mineta thought as Midoriya removed his first restriction.
"We won't have to be in danger? We just go home?" Mineta keeps pondering as Midoriya jumps up, the purple cyborg in his arms.
"That's great…right?"
As Mineta stews in the strange feeling in his gut, Midoriya lands and stops atop a nearby house. Dropping the imp and turning his attention to the five men.
Mineta looks at Midoriya, and unnoticed by either, the smallest smile creeps on Minoru's face, and he lets out a sigh of relief.
"Of course"

Uraraka sits on the floor with her parents, head down, eyes shut. She dares not even look at the five individuals standing across from them.
From left to right, there was a scrawny man with bright red skin, a heavy set woman with strange jagged warts all over her body, another woman who's a crocodile heteromorph, and two buff men whose features couldn't be seen, both wore ski masks and gloves. The only distinction between them is one with blue eyes, and the other with green.
A few months ago her father took out a loan from a shady group, and you can probably piece together the rest.
When they couldn't pay back, the two mask wearing men came with a truck and gave them two days to move everything of value in the van.
"Can't believe you guys actually did it" the crocodile woman says as she looks around the almost empty house. The family's eyes stay down, and one of the masked men speaks up.
"They had help, it seems they paid for extra hands".
The heteromorph shows a wide toothy grin, "really? Cause if you had the money for that…"
The woman grabs Ochaco's father by his head and slams him into the wall. "YOU SHOULD HAVE USED THAT TO PAY US!!"
Uraraka moves without thinking, getting up to help her father, but her mother keeps her in place.
There's an audible crack, and the man screams in pain. Uraraka pushes her mother away and runs to her father, but before she can reach him, her legs sink into the ground. The hardwood she walked on turned into mud, and just as she sank to her knees, it turned into wood again, trapping the girl's legs in the floor.
Uraraka struggles, doing everything in her power to break free, but to no avail. The only thoughts I'm her her head are "help".
"It turned the wood into mud? Then turned it back? That is interesting."
The words make everyone turn to the doorway, where a white haired boy stands, hand on his chin and staring directly at the blue eyed man. "That was yours right? I mean I saw your hand move when the ground turned".
Immediately, the wart covered woman flexes her muscles, and the jagged warts shoot out like spines. Midoriya raises his arms in front of his head, blocking every shot while charging at the woman.
Before he can reach her, the ground beneath him turns to mud, causing Midoriya to lose his footing. He tries to pull his feet out of the mudd, but he feels something odd, like extra pressure. The boy looks down to see that the mud has turned into metal spikes, they don't puncture his metal limbs, but they do force him to put an extra second into his escape.
That extra second caused problems, as Midoriya wasn't able to dodge a kick to the chin from the red man.
"Heavy, way too heavy for someone that skinny" Midoriya thinks as goes flying into the ceiling.
Just as he hits the ceiling he sees the other masked man lower his hand, and the spiked metal turned back into mud.
"One turns wood into mud, the other turns mud into metal, ones heavy as all hell, one has long range projectiles."
Midoriya falls with his eyes closed, as soon his foot touches the ground, the white haired cyborg snaps open his eyes and rushes towards one of the masked men.
The ground turns to mud, but this time Midoriya's ready. The sinking doesn't throw him off, he's putting more effort in, so when the mud turns to metal, it doesn't slow him down.
Midoriya's elbow makes contact with the man's stomach, and just as the heavier woman shoots more warts at him, Midoriya grabs the blue eyed man by his shirt and turns him around, using him like a human shield.
"You idiot!" The crocodile woman screams as she watches the man get filled with warts. She drops Uraraka's father and goes over to the wart covered woman.
"Spine! Wait on my mark, then shoot that bastard!" She yells, but the heavy set woman doesn't respond.
"Spine, did you hear me!" She yells again, but there's no answer. The wart covered woman is completely still.
The crocodile woman feels a prick in her neck, and her body goes stiff.
"Izuku, two down, hurry it up" Mineta says nonchalantly.
Midoriya drops the man he's holding, but as soon as he does, a ball of mud is thrown at his face.
Before the ball hits him, it turns into jagged metal. There's a *clang* as the metal projectile hits Izuku's metal skull, and blood drops down his head. He looks to his left and sees the green eyes masked man reaching into a container full of mud.
Two more balls of mud are thrown, and Midoriya dodges them both.
"Minoru!" Izuku yells while holding out his hand, and the imp responds without being told directly what to do.
He grabs Midoriya's hand, and the white haired cyborg throws the imp at the green-eyed man.
Minoru doesn't even have to reach the man fully, as a tendril springs out and stabs the man's chest. "That's four down" Minoru comments as the man he stabbed goes stiff.
"Where is the red one?" Midoriya asks as he looks around the room.
"Above you!!" Uraraka shouts.
Midoriya can't dodge in time, and the red man lands directly on his back.
Midoriya crashes into the hardwood floor, splinters piercing his face. "Heavy" is all he can say.
One of Mineta's tendrils lashes out, but the needle bounces off the red man's skin. "And hard," Mineta comments.
The red man sprints to the crocodile woman, pulling out a syringe and sticking her with it.
"Oh shit" Mineta whispers.
"Trigger" Midoriya panics and grabs the family of three, rushing out the door out of fear of what's coming.
The heteromorph's body convulses and morphs, growing to a staggering 10ft tall and still growing.
Mineta follows his friend, leaving the door and seeing Midoriya already a block down and dropping the family. As he gets closer he's that Midoriya is yelling something.
"What?"
He gets closer, and he can only hear bits of the words Midoriya is screaming.
"Turn…Kaiju…Minoru…DODGE!"
Mineta looks behind him and sees a 20ft tall crocodile heteromorph right behind him. You can't even tell it was a woman at this point.
The now giant woman swipes its massive clawed hand at Mineta, and the boy barely gets out of the way. The palm would've sent him crashing into a house, but he moves just fast enough for his back to be grazed by the claw.
Luckily the gumblar pack protects Minoru, the claw breaking as soon as it makes contact with the Cyberse metal.
Mineta trips over himself, and by pure luck, rolls out of the way of a giant fist that would have crushed him.
The imp rolls into a nearby lamp post, and looks up to see the giant maw of the reptile woman about to swallow him.
That is until Midoriya kicks the monster in the chin, force closing her mouth. The force sends her flying back, but Midoriya's metal leg is vibrating from the impact, he can tell it did little to nothing.
Midoriya gives the heteromorph no time to recover, he jumps up and lands directly on her head, he then jams his middle fingers into each of her eyes.
With a roar of pain, the crocodile woman bucks Midoriya off, and Midoriya falls to the hard concrete.
Or he should have, but instead of hitting cold streets, he's floating in mid air.
Midoriya looks around to see Ochako right In front of him, arms stretched out like she just touched him.
She presses her hands together, and Midoriya falls from the inch he was from the ground.
"Thanks…" Midoriya groans, not even looking at the girl as he turns to see the 20ft tall crocodile heteromorph grabbing its eyes and wailing in agony.
"Izuku, any ideas?" Mineta asks as he runs to his friend's side.
"Can you paralyze her?"
"Not while she's doped up on trigger."
"What about explosive balls?"
"Let's not destroy the houses around us. What about you? Can you remove another restriction?"
Midoriya shakes his head, "no way, I can't control my strength like that. 25% is doing nothing, but 50% would definitely put a hole in her chest, or anywhere else I hit her".
As the two ponder how to deal with the recovering monster, Midoriya gets an idea, but he feels conflicted.
He turns to.the girl who saved him and asks, "Excuse me? How high can you make something float?".
"Huh? Um…depends on the size" she meekly explains.
"Can you get her above the houses?" he asks, pointing to the almost recovered monster.
"For about 5 seconds, if I'm lucky" he voice is panicked, realizing what the boy is about to suggest.
"That's perfect", Midoriya insists as he picks up the girl, carrying her bridal style.
The white haired cyborg is in battle mode, not even noticing the blush and panic on the girl's face.
"Minoru! Cover her in explosives!" Midoriya shouts. And the imp obeys, throwing ball after ball of explosive spheres and the monster.
They stick her limbs and joints, only restricting her movements a tiny bit.
The crocodile woman lashes out, hitting anything and everything as she still can't see properly. Midoriya uses this to his advantage, dodging the reckless attacks with the girl In his arms.
He jumps over the monster's giant hand and lands directly by her leg. "Now!" He shouts
Uraraka slaps two hands on the heteromorph's leg, and the giant floats up. Uraraka's face immediately contorts into an expression of discomfort, but Midoriya doesn't notice.
"Minoru!" He shouts again, and the imp needs no other prompt. A needle lashes out and pops one explosive ball that's stuck to the crocodile woman, and sets off a chain reaction.
Multiple explosions fill the sky, and Midoriya covers Ochako's head as smoke covers the sky.
The brunette can't hold it any longer, pressing her hands together so her quirk can deactivate. The reptile falls to the ground unconscious, cinder covering her body and bits of her scales blown off.
When Midoriya sees that the threat is gone, he can finally think about what he's doing…
Holding a girl
He blushes for half a second, but it soon disappears into a face of worry as he sees Ochako's face.
"Are you o-"
"BLEEHH"
Ochako Uraraka puked her guts out, all over Midoriya's shoes, and Mineta cackles.
"I know women don't like me, but dude, that's a new level of how repulsed a girl can get from you touching her". The imp on the floor, out of breath from laughing at Izuku's expense.
Midoriya pays him no mind, focusing on the girl as he sets her down.
"You ok?"
"Yeah, just what happens when I make things float for too long".
Sirens blare in the distance, in the 10 minutes this fight lasted, the authorities finally came.
"Oh no! Mineta climb on!" Midoriya shouts as prepares to jump away from the scene. As the imp climbs on his friend's back, he looks at ochako and speaks very fast.
"In accordance with the contract you signed, your family is under secrecy, tell no one what we did. Ok bye" he finishes just as Midoriya jumps off to a nearby house.
Just as Midoriya reaches two blocks down, he makes something clear to Mineta. "We don't tell the others about this".
…
"So how'd the job go?"
"Izuku hit on the girl"
Every single set of eyes in the garage snapped in the direction of the white haired cyborg, who was currently red faced.
"I-I did no such thing!" Midoriya panics and raises his hands over his face.
"She puked when he did" Mineta adds in, and Layla cackles.
"Oh that's tragic" she laughs while leaning on a counter.
"I can see it happening" Argolid comments while on her phone, Lerna simply snickering.
"It wasn't like that!" Midoriya tries to insist, but everyone seems all too willing to roll with the funnier story Minetas is telling.
The two boys begin to argue about how it happened, but they are interrupted by the doctor walking into the room. There hunchback figure has a bit more pep in their step.
"Good news you two, you can to U.A"
The two boys forget about whatever they were talking about, both letting out an ecstatic "yes!"
"In the general education class"
"WHAT!?"
