Fireman
"Harry Potter." The Gray Lady greeted as he neared her.
"The cup, the sword, and the locket." Harry began, and the ghost stiffened. "I have held all three, two of which belonged to Tom Riddle. The only artifact of the Founders' I haven't held is the Diadem."
"Ravenclaw's Diadem." The Gray Lady said shakily. "My mother's diadem, you believe he found it?"
"I do." Harry said simply. "And I believe you know where it is."
Helena Ravenclaw laughed bitterly. "What makes you think I would tell you even if I did?"
Harry felt unease roll in his stomach, and he pushed it down. "Voldemort-"
"Do not speak his name!" Helena hissed, interrupting him.
"Tom Riddle." Harry corrected himself. "He's done something to the other artifacts, done some sort of strange enchantment to them. I suspect he's done the same to your mother's diadem."
Helena stared off into space, as if pondering the question. "He has."
"I wish to destroy it." Harry stated. "Will you tell me where it is?"
The ghost looked him in the eye as if she was using legilimency on him. "It's in the room where all things are hidden in this castle."
-
"I need to use the room of hidden things."
"I need to use the room of hidden things."
"I need to use the room of hidden things."
He paced three times in front of the wall and found nothing happened. The wall didn't change, no door appeared, and he felt like an idiot.
"Dobby!"
The elf appeared with a pop. "Great Harry Potter Sir!"
"Dobby, do you know if there is a hidden room behind this wall?"
The elf looked at him strangely before walking up to the wall and putting a hand on it. Dobby's face scrunched up in concentration. "The room is in use, Great Harry Potter Sir. Us elves cannot open the room's door while it is in use, but Dobby can bring his master inside nonetheless."
What does he mean by in use?
"Do it." Harry said immediately. "I need to gain access to the room of hidden things."
The elf reached out and grabbed his hand, and in an instant he was surrounded by spellfire. He nearly pulled out his own wand to defend himself, but suddenly it all seemed to stop.
"Harry?!"
The shout came from his left, and he spun to see Hermoine gaping at him in shock. She wasn't alone, as many of his Housemates were in the room with him.
Suddenly the room began changing, one of the walls sliding into the floor as stacks and rows of junk appeared in a strange maze that seemed to go on forever.
"Here is the room you requested, Great Harry Potter Sir!" Dobby said suddenly, pointing towards the maze of junk.
"Err… Thanks, Dobby."
Dobby beamed.
"Wait, Harry, how did you get in here?!" Hermoine yelled suddenly, looking frantic.
"I'm looking for some… lost property. Dobby took me here saying he could help." Harry lied, looking around at everyone again. "What are you all doing here?"
"We're practicing magic because Umbridge won't teach us, mate." Ron said with furrowed brows.
This must be the group Daphne said Umbridge is looking for.
"I see." Harry said stiffly. "I'm sorry for interrupting."
He headed towards the maze, ignoring them all. As if on queue, a loud bang rang out as a spell collided with a wall outside the room. Harry didn't turn, even as panic erupted around him from Hermoine's group, and instead ran into the maze of junk as he searched for the Diadem.
That must be Umbridge trying to break in. Harry thought. I can't let her stop me when I'm so close to finding the Diadem.
