The decision to leave McKinley High wasn't easy for Will and Emma, in fact it had taken many late night discussions and sometimes arguments between the two. But the fact of the matter was that the New Directions had graduated and moved on. Will had been struggling to keep the arts alive and no longer felt fulfilled with his job. He had started applying at other schools without telling Emma. At first, it was just for fun, but then he got an interview. He didn't expect much, but was blown away with Bexley High School. It was in a wealthy area of Columbus and had a blooming arts program. So, he took the interview, and shortly after was offered a job. It took a lot of convincing, but he eventually got Emma on board and she was able to secure a position as guidance counselor, and soon they found out that they were expecting their first child. Life couldn't get any greater. The move had gone smoothly and soon enough the Schuesters were settled into a fine two storey home, perfect for starting their family. Will and Emma had started their first week at Bexley, which mostly consisted of Will and Emma getting settled. Will had a lot of lessons to prepare, as well as setting up his office and taking a look at the choir room and auditorium. For once, Will was optimistic, he didn't have to worry about Glee Club being frowned upon, maybe kids here thought it was cool? Or, at the very least, wouldn't intimidate students out of joining and harass those who did. Will was surprised that he was able to take over as Glee Club Director right away, that was until he found out that his predecessor had been sneaking performance enhancements to the students. And although Will felt awful about the kids who had unfortunately been involved, he was glad he had this exciting new opportunity. He knew Emma was reluctant to move, but in time he would prove to her that this was worth the move and giving up their lives in Lima.
Author's Note
I realise that was very brief, however, I don't have much to write yet as I do not have characters. In saying that, let's go over some submissions rules:
1) All submissions must be sent through a PM - reviewed characters (even guest reviewed) will be ignored.
2) When submitting to this story, please do not use a character that has been submitted to another story. I don't want duplicates.
3) I do want a balanced, diverse cast. This is both in terms of looks, personalities, backstories, and sexual/gender identities.
4) If your character's background has the potential to be triggering/depressing/traumatic, please ask before submitting.
5) I am accepting both glee club members, as well as background characters (think teachers, non glee clubber love interests, and so on).
6) For storyline suggestions, these are suggestions only just because you put them in there, it does not guarantee I will use them.
7) I will be accepting about 4 main characters, the rest being recurring. I would accept 6, however, I have made 2 characters of my own.
8) You may submit a total of 3 characters, however, in order to submit additional characters (more than 1) I ask that you PM me for approval first.
That's it for submission rules, the form can be found on my profile. If you have any questions, please ask and I'd be more than happy to answer them.
