It's always a challenge to learn about the days when England was young and knights being brave and bold. Recently my grandfather died of old age and I miss him already. Father handed me a few things that were once his, an amulet of a dragon and a sword with a golden handle. He said, "Grandfather wanted you to have those Debbie, that way he'll always be close to you, even in the heart." I put on the amulet, made a sad face and hugged Father.
He said, "I miss him too honey. You know exploring his trees with your dogs would help cheer you up." I sighed and said, "Sure Dad, I'll give it a go." I got my hound dog and my bloodhound and went outside. My hound dog is named Knight and my bloodhound is named Belle.
They're both eight weeks. Knight is male and Belle is female. I'll never forget the stories my grandfather told me. He even told me about this one story about the sword in the stone. He had high hopes that one day the sword will be pulled off of the stone.
Then I began to notice my grandfather's amulet and sword starting to glow. That's strange, what's going on. Then a flash of gold and red and orange surrounded me and my dogs. It then spun us around.
Man this is like a wild ride. Then we landed with a thud. I groaned, looked around and there I found that everything is different. It is really different. I realized that I'm in a forest of some kind.
I said to my dogs while looking around, "Belle, Knight, I have a funny feeling that we're not at home anymore." We must be in some forest somewhere.
