Chapter 1: Tension in the comfort zone

This story continues when Ember and Wade are saying goodbye to their parents, now they're embarking to a new City named "New Wave"...

By this point Ember was more than ready to pursue her new career as a professional glass designer at "Natasha's Heaven", but to get there, she first had to pass certain tests in order to keep the job permanently. Brook had already set aside a suite for just the two of them on the ship and had given Ember a very special gift, which she asked her, not to open yet, until she was alone in a more private place to do so. Ember was wondered herself. But.. What was wrong if she opened it in front of Wade?. But well.. she prefered to respect Brook's words, since they couldn't be taken lightly.

Their hearts at that moment were beating fast in excitement of this new journey, as they sailed into a future full of possibilities.

- "Wow!.. You and me.. Alone on a boat... Of course with other people from differents elements who just like us boarded, surely to search new opportunities or just because they want to take vacations.."- Ember shrugs her shoulders and can't help but blush at such an event... Her and Wade.. Alone?, Seriously?.. With nobody around?, Wow!.. That is something new to see.

Wade smiles sweetly and tries to calm down Ember. - "Well, Ember... It seem's that we are facing a bit peculiar situation. But don't worry, everything will be fine, you will see that we will have a lot of fun together during this trip... It will be an unforgettable experience!".- At that.. Wade lets out a small and nervous sigh. - "Well, there's no time to lose, let's go to see that suite that my mother's has prepared for us."-

Wade opens the door and Oh, Flames!.. It was huge and it came's with a kitchenette, a mini living room, a dining room, etc... But some decorations was are a bit unusual, since everything seemed to be composed for a... Romantic date?. Although that wasn't the biggest of their problems, the biggest of all... Was when they opened the door where the bedroom was supposed to be, which in it there was only a double bed for the two of them, of course divided for their two types of Element... Water and Fire.

Wade gasps, he knew that his mother was very careful with the details, but... He didn't think it would cross to her mind to arrange even a romantic stay for them.

- "Uh!... Ember, it looks like we'll have to share this bed during our stay. Are you okay with it?".-

Ember isn't quite sure how to respond to Wade, so she just nods. - "Mmm.. Well, I guess we don't have another choice, right?".- Ember looks away and walks bravely without hesitation towards the bedroom.

Wade smiles at her and gently taps Ember shoulder. - "Don't worry Ember, this will be like a sleepover party."- Ember rolls his eyes at Wade's passive and calm expression.

- "Well.. I think I'll open the gift that your mother gave me, of course. If it doesn't bother you, she told me to open it privately as a recommendation, although I still don't really know why?".- Ember goes to the bathroom with a dressing table, and opens it, feeling curious about what could it be?, in that beautiful scarlet package with a golden bow.

Wade was intrigued by the wait, he doesn't know why? his mother would give her, something that he couldn't see at the moment.

Ember opens the gift with extreme delicacy, but to her surprise. - "OH, FLAMES!".- She overwhelmed when she open it, because is nothing but a sexy lingerie with lace. She blushes and begins to feel very embarrassed at that sensual detail that Brook's gave her.

That's when Wade starts knocking the door. -"Ember, is everything okay?".-

Ember was blushing and responds nervously. -"Y-yes. Wade" -

- "Ember you don't have to tell me anything if you don't want to, but if you need to talk, you know you can count on me, no matter what... And.. Ember, can I get in now?.. I need to use the bathroom".- Wade sobs, crossing his legs, wanting to open the door.

- "NO, WADE, DON'T OPEN THE DOOR! It's just... Clothes?".- Wade stops in his tracks and steps back a little. - "Sorry, Ember... I didn't mean to invade your privacy. I'll be out here waiting in case you need me. But please, don't be long!".-

- "All right, I won't be long. And, I appreciate it, Wade".- Ember looks at the note that was inside the package in embarrassment and reads it to herself mentally.

Wade was a little uneasy waiting for Ember, but prefers to be patient and respect his girlfriend's personal space. Ember comes out a little embarrassed, hiding something behind her back and avoiding the subject of the "gift". -"Okay, Wade, the bathroom is all yours".- Wade rushes to the bathroom urgently and ignore the strange reaction of Ember's, because he has something more urgent to deal.

- "Wade, I'll distract myself for a while, watching television".-

-"Sure Ember, enjoy your time on the Television and if there's anything you'd like to do together afterwards, don't hesitate to let me know".-

After some time had passed, Wade comes out of the bathroom and sits next to Ember on the sofa and looks at her tenderly. - "Are you okay Ember?, you still look a little uneasy, remember that our relationship is based on mutual respect and trust... I just want you to be comfortable and happy by my side".-

Ember turns off the TV and takes a deep breath. - "W-well... Your mother... Gave me this".- Ember hides her embarrassed face between his legs, but without first showing Wade the content of the box.

Wade pick up the box carefully and examines the contents in it. Ember's face turns even redder, when she hears what Wade has to say about it. - "Oh, wow Ember... That's very nice lingerie. But... You don't have to wear it if you don't want to".-

Ember looks at Wade even more embarrassed, but without first asking him again. - "I-it's really... Pretty?".-

-"Yes, it's very pretty. But... Remember that our relationship goes beyond the physical and... Well the important thing is the connection and the mutual respect between us".- Wade responds nervously with a lot of sweat on his forehead.

- "And... W-would you like to see me wearing it?".-

Wade blushes brightly and looks at Ember tenderly. - "Well.. if that makes you feel good, I'd be more than happy to see what you look like in it. But remember that you should only do it if you want to".-

Wade laughs nervously as he watches the television. - "It seems like that all the channels are showing programs... A bit peculiar, you don't think?... Maybe we should switch to a different device or do something more fun together?".-

Ember looks on curiously and can't help but ask Wade. - "Mmm... Is Th-that's... Hanky Panky?. (In the native language of Ember's parents, that means in Firish "adult stuff")".- Wade gets even more nervous, and quickly takes control away from Ember by changing the channel. - "Hey, look, I found a romance novel, do you want to watch it with me?".-

- "Yes, please..".- But the novel also starts to get a little...Intense?.

Wade and Ember look at each other a little uncomfortable, as the novel continues to show spicy scenes. Wade starts changing channels again. - "Uh, Hehehehehe... What do you say if we watch a romantic comedy?... It will be something more suitable for us, Isn't it?..".-

- "B-but.. Wade.. It seems like all the channels at this time.. Has that kind of content!".-

Wade gets even more nervous and starts looking for another solution. - "What if we left the suite to get some fresh air?".-

But Ember takes courage and determined in her decision, says to Wade. -"¡N-no!, Wade... It's ok... I want to learn, so let's see a little more of "that" for now... And i-if I can't stand it, I'll turn it off".-

Ember's gasps at the novel's content. She sees how the water woman is passionately kissed by her lover of the same element, but then his kisses go from her neck to her belly.

Wade on the other hand is somewhere between nervous and excited, but he tries to keep his composure while Ember still watching the blissful and hot scene. -"E-ember!... I think we should stop this. It's not something suitable for us".- It seems that the one who became uncomfortable more quickly than expected was Wade.

-"Wade... The truth is... If I would like to learn a little more about it, since my parents always avoided that topic with me... And-and... If I ever want to take that big step in the future with you... I need to see it with my own eyes, or.. You don't want to do it with me?".-

Wade is overwhelmed by Ember's response and decides to be honest. - "It's not that I don't want to, Ember... But it's that we must also take into account our own comforts and limits... We should stop if we can't move forward or if we are not really sure what we want at the moment".- Wade sobs nervously with a lot of sweating pouring from his face.

At that Ember approaches Wade and she holds gently his hands.. -"And what happens... If I really want to go through with it?".- But Wade doesn't react and gets even more nervous at that response.

Ember holds him by his shirt, directing it him to her fiery lips and kisses him surprisingly. Wade feels an intoxicating tension running through all his body at that gesture; and he struggles to resist his own impulses and desires so he decides, to gently pull away from her.

Ember looks at him sweetly and playfully flutters her eyelashes, but still nervous about what she is going to say. - "Wade... If it's you, I wouldn't mind crossing that line... I want to feel a stronger connection with you".-

Wade, stilling aware of the implications of this entails, at the end he decides to give up in to Ember's desires, releasing a deep and nervous sigh. - "Okay... But promise me that if at any time you feel uncomfortable or don't want to continue with this, you'll tell me".-

- "Ahhhhh!.. Mmmm!... Yes, baby!".- Ember and Wade look at each other even more embarrassed and abruptly turn off the Television. - "Yes, I promise, Wade!.. So... Do you want to do it too?".- Wade embarrassed, but at the same time excited, nods slowly. - "Yes!... Yes I want to do it with you. But let's do it slowly?, please".-

-"Of course Wade, and remember that this is also my first time too..."- Wade, feeling overwhelmed by the situation and the mixed emotions, lets himself be carried away by the moment.

- "E-ember... I love you!".-

- "I love you too, Wade!".- Wade smiles nervously but with excitement and follows Ember who leads him to the bedroom. The atmosphere there becomes more intimate, as they both prepare to take a step more forward in their relationship.
