Author's Note: I know what you're thinking, another Danny Phantom fic, are you out of your mind? Well, upon experimenting with the Reverse Trio Arc that I was making, I thought, why not do a multiverse.

Yep, this will be my take on a Danny Phantom Multiverse. Yeah, i know this will probably not catch a lot of traction because of "multiverse fatigue," or what have you, but upon brainstorming for this idea, what used to be "Crossover with the original series eventually, plus an OC," now developed into an infinite pool of possibility for me, and upon realising that there are multiple stories that could be told in an infinite multiverse of Danny Phantom. I thought it would be fun to experiment, and make this crossover event feel earned.

Now, they're not gonna be as long as the Reverse Trio AU. That is the main AU I'm working on, since I found a lot of love for that idea, and would want that to be the focus point. These are likely going to be 5-7 chapters long, unlike the Reverse Trio, which I have around 4-5 arcs based on. Still, I will be writing these fics just for the fun of it.

Also, this does mean my other fanfics are going to be less prevalent. I'm still working on the Underverse one, but not as much stuff may come to my Hilda one in a bit. I'm still passionate about those projects, I just feel like working on these ones (I swear, I don't know what's gotten over me over Danny Phantom, I swear it may be a phase).

Anyways, that was a long intro, so all I have to say is… enjoy this part of this multiverse.

Also warning: Morbid imagery shown. As well as a lot of angst.

Tucker Foley was just your average tech geek. Someone who loves technology so much, you confuse it for being his one true love (even though he tries to hook up with other girls at school). He's often seen around other social outcasts, Danny Fenton, and Sam Manson.

Sam is the school punk/goth. She's an ultra-recyclo vegetarian, oftentimes trying to throw up petitions and protests against something unjust.

However, Danny's family was a bit more… weirder. Danny himself was no different than your average teen, having average grades, less than average social skills. But what makes him different is his parents.

His parents were ghost hunters.

Ever since they met in high school, Danny's parents were into the supernatural, the things that go bump in the night, ect. Particularly, they were into ghosts.

And particularly, they were into hunting down the ghost.

They had long been obsessed with proving it, and they wanted to make sure no ghosts will ever harm anyone, as well as learn about these things.

That's why they made the Ghost Portal.

A portal that in theory should be able to reach into the ghost zone, a place full of all sorts of spooks and terrors. But as of recently, they still haven't figured out a way to make it work. Everything they tried, they couldn't turn it on.

So, the group did the responsible thing and decided to go and check out the portal with no supervision.

Danny was forbidden to go into the lab with anyone, nor was he allowed to see the portal. However, the idea of a ghost portal really interested his friends. So, behind his parents' back, Danny agrees to show them the portal.

"So, are you sure it's safe," Tucker asked.

"Absolutely… maybe… probably," Danny replied, "Well, my dad says it doesn't work, so it should be safe, but I would probably recommend not going into it."

"Why," Sam asked.

"Well, there's a bunch of wires all over the place, so that's kind of a safety hazard," Danny said, "And there's also the hypothetical of the portal turning on while someones in it… what did I just say?"

"Hey, you're bound to catch some of their intelligence," Sam said, gesturing to his parents.

"Oh come on, I'm not like my parents," Danny said, "Am I?"

"More than you know," Sam said.

The portal was huge, like at least twice their size, in a circular, robotic pattern.

"This…looks…SO COOL," Tucker exclaimed, "Your parents built this."

"Yeah, they did," Danny said.

"Man, your dad maybe a bit… dull, but man is he an incredible mechanic," Tucker said, as he took a picture on his PDA.

"Alright, I showed you the portal, now let's get out of here," Danny exclaimed, not wanting to get into trouble with his parents.

"Come on Danny, a portal to a ghost world," Sam said, "Aren't you a little curious?"

"Not in the slightest," Danny said, "Come on, before dad comes in."

"Fine…" Sam said, as Danny left the room, but as Sam was about to, she noticed Tucker was still in the room.

"You coming Tuck," Sam asked.

"Just want to take a couple more pics," Tucker said, "And then I'll be up."

"Ok," Sam said, "But be quick."

Sam left the room, leaving Tucker all by himself. Tucker eventually got curious on what's inside of the portal, and, against what Danny told them, went inside.

The inside of the portal was a technical marvel. There was blue wiring all over the place, as if it was from the future. It was illuminating the entire tunnel, feeling almost other worldly.

Tucker was so in awe at the technical marvel, he didn't realise he pressed a button nearby.

Before Tucker could react to the whirring sound, a green flash of light launched on him. He felt it burning all around him, as if millions of needles were stabbing him, and melting away his skin. The bright flash eventually succeeded in burning his clothes effortlessly, and then his skin started to boil, as all of it started to peel away.

Danny eventually came into the room, only to see Tucker in it, slowly being burned away.

"TUCK," Danny screamed, as he ran towards his best friend, but was unable to grab him, with the lightning shocking him. Danny then called his parents.

"MOM, DAD, HELP," he screamed, as Jack and Maddie ran down.

"Sweet mother of all holy," Jack swore, "The portal's on."

"Yeah, and Tucker's in the middle of it," Danny screamed, "Help me pull him out."

Jazz and Sam also ran down, and saw the portal basically skewer Tucker.

"Hang on," Jack said as he pulled out what looked like a fishing rod, "This is still experimental, but it should help get the boy out."

Jack then threw the rod, with the string glowing white, as it launched a glowing white line through the portal. However, something felt like it was pulling Jack in. Jack was struggling to get a grip, but then Maddie came in to pull Tucker out. With their combined strength, they pulled Tucker out.

Tucker's body was burnt to a crisp, with several burns everywhere, some of his skin peeled away, even showing some of his skeleton, as he seems knocked out.

"Tucker," Danny said at his best friend's unconscious body.

Jazz then felt around his wrist, before pulling her hand away.

"He's burning," Jazz said, "But I felt a pulse… he's still alive."

"Good, then we need to get him to a hospital," Danny said, sighing a sign of relief.

Later, Tucker was wrapped in bandages, laying on a hospital bed, unconscious. Right beside him was his parents, who were looking at the unconscious body that was their son, with tears in their eyes. Danny, Sam, and the rest didn't go near, as an event happening earlier had the two actually almost assault Jack for nearly killing his son.

"You were responsible for him being here," Tucker's mom said, visibly echoing what she said to Jack in Danny's head. He felt at fault, had he not shown Tucker the portal, none of this would've happened.

He stayed at Tucker's side, along with his parents. He obviously kept his distance, but all day and all night, he stood by him.

Eventually, the doctors came in with some not so great news.

"I'm sorry, but your son has suffered some of the most severe burns I have ever seen," The lead doctor said, "I don't think he's coming back. We're barely able to keep him in a coma induced state. I'm sorry."

The news broke Tucker's parents, his mom kneeling down in a crying position, as his dad attempted to lift her up, but still visibly having tears in his face. Danny meanwhile, remained unmoved. Even when visiting hours were up, Danny remained unmoved, only really getting up for a drink of water or two.

He felt an enormous amount of guilt that he couldn't shake off, no matter if he tried. Eventually, his dad came to him.

"Son… are you okay," Jack said, "You haven't been home for a couple of days now, and… your mom, sister, and I are worried for you."

Danny did something… he felt like he didn't get to do it in days.

He spoke.

"I… I'm fine, dad," He said.

"Are you sure…" Jack said with a little bit of caution.

Danny wanted to continue lying but… he just couldn't anymore. Anymore time he would've bottled it up, he felt like he would've wanted to join Tucker.

"No… I'm not," Danny cried, "It's my fault that Tucker's like this. If I didn't show him your stupid portal, maybe he would still be alive… maybe if I had just been a bit more cautious… I just… It's my fault he's here."

"No-one's blaming you Danny," Jack said, "If anything, I should be the one to say I'm sorry. I knew the possibility of something like this would've happened and yet… I showed you anyway."

"Wait… how could you have known," Danny asked.

"Because a similar mistake happened," Jack said with a sigh, "It was twenty years ago, I had a best friend named Vlad Masters. I dragged him into ghost hunting and research a long time ago, and that nearly cost him his life. I couldn't save him, and I never heard from him ever since."

"Is he dead," Danny asked.

"Honestly, I don't know," Jack said, "But now, as a similar mistake has happened, I should've known better. This was my portal, in my lab, I shouldn't have had a couple of kids in it. I'm sorry."

"Dad…" Danny started, before stopping himself, and then looking at something in his hands.

"What's that," he asked, curious.

"Oh, this," Jack said, "It's not much. Just an idea I had after he… you know. It's a suit that protects the user from the effects of ecto-rays, and dangerous burns and shocks."

Jack demonstrated, as he activated it, turning it into a white, armoured suit with a visible helmet, gauntlets, a ray gun, and even an oxygen tank on the back.

"I gave it life sustaining particles, and made it out of a material strong enough to withstand the energy," Jack said, "As well as size alteration so anyone can put it on at any time."

That's when an idea popped into Danny's head.

"Dad, you don't think we can use that suit for Tucker, right," Danny asked.

Jack's eyes then widened by the idea.

"I mean… realistically, it could work," Jack said, "But this is still just a prototype. I still need to work on some kinks, and I haven't even tested it on a real life test and…"

"Dad, can it," Danny asked.

Jack sighed, "Yes… I guess that's partially the reason I brought it here. But now… what if it doesn't work? I mean, the world already thinks I'm a screw up, and this right here… it may be the biggest screw up of them all."

"Dad…" Danny said, as he synthesised with his dad.

"No no, maybe the world's right… I am just a screw up, who's dangerous devices only get the ones closest to him and his family killed," Jack said.

"Dad…" Danny said, before really thinking about what his dad thought. He always felt… embarrassed to have him as a father figure. Most people's dad's were something normal, like a firefighter, or a police officer. His were into ghost hunting. He had made it no secret that he was embarrassed, and even at times, ashamed to call him his father. He only showed Tucker and Sam the portal just because they were interested. He felt like a selfish jerk for doing so.

"Dad…" Danny started, "I'm sorry I did that to you. I never meant to make you feel bad, and, I guess I was just ashamed. But you only wanted to share something that means a lot to you… and I didn't give you the time of day. I'm sorry."

"Danny, it's… it's not your fault," Jack replied.

"Yes dad, it is," Danny said, "I know I've been a selfish jerk to you, and I'm sorry for that. And I know I don't have the right to ask you this, but please, can you help save him?"

Jack looked at his son, seeing him look at him as if he was the only person in the world that can save someone so near and dear to him. Jack then gave a confident look on his face.

"Ok, I've got this, hopefully," Jack said, with a bit of both confidence and doubt.

He then put the device in what was roughly Tucker's hand. He then pressed a button that activated the armour around him. But then, something went off. Lightning shot out of the body, as Jack and Danny narrowly avoided the dangers of the device. Eventually, the lights, monitors, and all other nearby devices were shut off.

"Danny, are you okay," Jack asked.

"Yep… all fine," Danny said, though, admittedly, was still dazed.

They then checked up on Tucker, who had the armour in a different color. It was now black, with green highlights around it.

"Tucker," Danny asked.

Suddenly, the visor lit up, and Tucker breathed a huge breath of fresh air.

"Oh man, I felt like I was asleep for hours," Tucker replied, as he saw Danny, as he looked like he was about to cry.

"Danny," Tucker asked, before being abruptly caught off guard as Danny hugged him.

"Dude, what was that," Tucker asked, as he pushed Danny off, being freaked out, "And why does my body feel different?"

"Uh, Tuck, don't freak out," Danny said, "But the ghost portal turned on when you were in it. It caught you and… well…"

"Well what," Tucker asked.

"Just… promise you won't freak out when you look down," Danny replied.

Tucker then looked down, and saw the armour that was now his body.

"WHAT'S GOING ON," Tucker freaked out.

Author's Note: So, I knew I had to do Tucker with ghost powers, but, let's just say… I didn't want to do it initially. It felt like just writing the third story with a different character would be really boring in comparison to the other ideas I had in store for this Danny Phantom Multiverse. That's when I got inspired by a Danny Phantom fic with Tucker as a ghost in a mech suit and thought that that was a really cool idea, and decided to implement it into this fic.

(Also, writing this note, did I just create the Danny Phantom equivalent of Cyborg from DC)

Overall, I'm starting to feel more confident in this story now, and can't wait for the rest of the chapters to be released. Hope you enjoy this.
