It was the season 1 finale of Disventure Camp and Alec was sore about how it all went down; he helped out Fiore all of this time in the show. Helped with her schemes and trusted her and it was for naught; she really was a devil child. It was all for naught; he got the letter from his wife about wanting a divorce and now he was out of the competition.
Still if he had to side with one of the 3 finalists and it had to be Ellie; despite going along with using her and manipulating her including engineering Gabby's elimination... His fondness for her was genuine and though she did backstab him in the end; out of the 3 he had to say that she was the one who he had the most positive feelings towards in the end.
He decided to keep a close eye on the finishing line of the first challenge of the finale and Fiore made it first; he shook his head glaring at her smirking face as she passed but then put his focus on Miriam and Ellie. However his eyes widened as Miriam seemed to be suffering a heart attack; Ellie checked on her only for Miriam to get up and steal the shovel away from her saying that she could smell the million dollars.
Alec was aghast; Miriam faking a heart attack to play on sympathies to cheat Ellie out? That was just uncalled for and he didn't think he would stand for it if Fiore suggested that idea. Alec then got to the side of the finishing line and glared at Miriam as she faced him off.
"What are you looking at? You and her have nothing to judge me for considering what you both were compliant in with obeying that brat! Now she gets a taste of the medicine owed to you all and I am finally taking that brat down and claiming that million dollars..." Miriam said as Gabby encouraged Ellie to go and get the shovel back.
Miriam didn't notice as Ellie ran forward and snatched the shovel away and ended up going through the finishing line before Miriam could do anything. "What... That can't be allowed... Alec wasn't a helper..." Miriam ranted as Alec smirked at her with his arms folded as Trevor came up to them.
"Alec didn't actually do anything... You let yourself get distracted so this elimination is final... Finalists are Ellie and Fiore!" Trevor then said as Miriam was open mouthed but walked away in a huff.
It was after the show with Ellie managing to be the one who beat Fiore in the end and Tom was there to help Ellie retrieve her million dollar prize after Jensen stole it. They all went to the bus but Alec was caught by Ellie. "Congratulations on the win..." Alec then told her as she sighed and took a deep breath.
"Listen... Thanks for the help there... Still; I can't say that I forgive you after all that you pulled... You did some shady messed up manipulations teaming up with her and you used me as like a puppet..." Ellie then told him looking conflicted.
"I understand... We all were to her but I never looked up to see my own strings... Still take care and study hard in what fashion school you use your money to get into." Alec then told her and she nodded. Gabby then came up to Ellie as they were facing him.
"We could... Talk... Exchange numbers... Try and fix things... Maybe even... Friends? A longshot..." Gabby suggested with a friendly smile as Alec stared at her surprised that she would put forth this idea. "I'm not innocent either... Listening to Grett and I might have been a bit overboard... Can't help to try..." Gabby suggested as Alec just decided to nod as he got on the bus and went past the glaring Miriam and Fiore on their separate seats.
2 years passed and Alec was picked up on the private plane for Disventure Camp All-Stars and he was sitting behind Ellie and Gabby. "Alec... In the flesh again... The counselling working..." Gabby greeted Alec with a smile and Ellie had one as well.
Gabby had suggested to Alec about counselling to try and at least mend fences with his son as it would hurt to hear that he wished that he was more like Fiore on TV. "We are making progress and the ex-wife and I are on amicable terms now... How goes the next top fashion star?" Alec replied and Ellie gave him a bigger smile in response.
"Going great but we are together again... No funny stuff alright or at least tell me if you have anything planned if we end up working together again..." Ellie told Alec and he nodded in return.
I admit that I do like Miriam and her backstory is really tragic but Ellie really should have won season 1 of Disventure Camp; the Unintentionally Unsympathetic page on TV Tropes showed that her faking a heart attack to play on Ellie's sympathies showed that I wasn't alone. Though Ellie has had her bad moments like telling Jake that it was probably his fault that his boyfriend cheated on him.
Those who are among those that I I really want to win All-Stars are in no order: Alec, Ellie, Lake and Ally. Though I won't mind if Tom or Aiden ended up winning.
