Kristoff looked at himself in the restroom mirror. Elsa was going to be ready to go in a few minutes to the lake cabin where Anna was going to be staying, and he was freshening up from a night at the hospital all night keeping tags on Eric after his head injury. He wasn't usually one to look at himself in the mirror, quite this much, but it had been a long night.
The door opened, and Olaf walked in.
"Olaf, I didn't know you were still here," Kristoff said.
"Yeah, Coach Mattias wants to leave before dusk, but he wants to check on a few things first. Are you driving home, too?"
"No," Kristoff admitted. "Elsa doesn't want me driving all the way back, so she's having me come to her lake house. Did you know she had a lake house?"
"Oh, yeah!" Olaf said. "That place is beautiful! I used to go there in high school with them all the time. You'll like it."
"Huh," Kristoff replied. "You sure you don't want to come this weekend? Elsa said they have a spare room."
Kristoff wasn't sure why he just said that, but no taking it back now.
"Elsa asked me, but I have a philosophy paper due Tuesday, so I need to work on that."
"How do you have a paper due? I thought you already graduated college."
"I'm taking a night class," Olaf explained. "It's a lot of fun. This week is all about existentialism."
"That's nice," Kristoff said. He vaguely remembered some mention of existentialism, maybe in high school English class. "Um, good luck?"
"Thanks!" Olaf said, running into a stall.
"I'll get going now, Olaf. See you later."
"Bye, Kristoff!" Olaf called from inside the bathroom stall.
Kristoff stepped out into the hallway.
"Oh, there you are, Kristoff," Elsa called out. "You're looking better. Ready to go?"
