Chapter 10
It was a bit early in the morning when Lefiya woke up. Her eyes were half opened, she was blinking a bit due to the early morning sunlight blinding her from her window.
'Today is Monster Féria. I wonder what monsters there going to try to tame this year.' She got up from her bed and took a shower before she heads into the library for her morning lessons with Riveria. When she went inside library she was surprised that Riveria wasn't in here before her. Nor was Alicia.
'Must be sleeping I guess' she shrugs it off and gets her mediation mat from the closet, she sets it down near a corner in the library, taking deep breaths she settles down and starts.
She meditated for at least an hour. When she herd the footsteps near her she already knew who it was.
"Ah I'm glad someone isn't slaking off anymore"
"…"
Riveria smiled. She's finally taking her training serious. Lefiya didn't want to make Riveria mad since she assumed that she had woken up. So she meditated till it was time for Monster Féria or
"You may stop Lefiya. I think you've meditated enough." Rivera told her. Lefiya opened her eyes and smiled at Riveria. She picked up her mat and went to go put it up in the closet. Riveria took Lefiya spot and set her mat down and started meditating.
Lefiya read some books about fire magic. The monsters they encounter in the 18th floor were heavily injured with fire. So she wanted know if there are any fire magic she could learn. True she could use Riveria's fire magic due to her skill using any elf spell but she sometimes wants to use her own magic as well.
She read about 3 books for 2 hours. Riveria has finished her meditation and smiles again at Lefiya for finally not complaining or any of her other antics.
"Lefiya what's with you today?"
"Huh?"
"Your not acting as.… you usually are."
"(tilts head) What do you mean by that Miss Riveria?"
"Well usually you wouldn't meditate for an hour, read books for an hour, and to top it off you had a smile while reading. You usually complain of my teachings" Lefiya now got on to why she asked that. She then closes the book she was holding and looks at the cover to think.
'Why am I acting like this?' She thought long and hard about it but then she came to a conclusion.
"Well my guess is that I get to go to today's event with Ais, Tiona, and Tione (smiles)" Riveria was shocked that Ais was going to today's event. Ais never went to those events because of obvious reasons. So for Lefiya, her apprentice, to tell her that Ais is going to an event like this, can only make her feel.… dumb
"Huh?"
After Lefiya and Riveria talked they went to the cafeteria and see if breakfast was ready. They saw a few individuals there already eating. The rest must be still sleeping they thought.
"Lefiya!! Miss Riveria!! Over here!" Alicia was eating at a table with Raul and Aki.
Riveria and Lefiya got there food and went towards them, they sat down and started eating, after they were done eating they talked.
"So Alicia where were you this morning?" Riveria
"I was sleeping. (frowns) I'm sorry for missing meditation lesson Miss Riveria" she said somberly
"(sighs) It's fine and how many times do I have to tell you to stop calling me with formality?"
"I'll never stop!" Alicia declared making Riveria sigh and the others there laugh.
"What are you going to do today Riveria?" Raul
"I'm going to do deal with some documents Finn assigned me to. What about you?"
"Same here. And you Aki?"
"I'm going to the dungeon today with Alicia" Alicia nods for conformation
"What about Lefiya what are you going to do?"
"I'm going to today's event with Ais, Tiona, and Tione" They were all shocked that she mentioned Ais going. Nevertheless they all were happy that Ais would do something 'normal' for once.
They all left and went to go put their plates up, just on cue Ais, Tiona, and Tione came in the cafeteria. They saw Lefiya put her plate up making them think that she was probably done eating.
It was time for Monster Féria to begin. The streets were crowded with tons of people. Many food stands were there. Beautiful weather, kids playing in the streets, smile on everyone's faces. It was a good day…

Before Ais could go with her 'sisters' she had to go with Loki to be her 'escort' to a cafe shop. It was her punishment for taking Lefiya with her yesterday. Ais asked Loki why she didn't take Bete with her but Loki said, "If it's not you then nope!"
Loki tried to grope on her but was quickly slapped by Ais. They soon reached their destination, they walk up the stairs and enter the cafe. When they entered multiple people could be herd mumbling about something.
Ais paid no attention to it so did Loki. Loki was looking around to find the person she was looking for. She then found them. Or her.
Freya
Ais glanced at Loki to see if this was actually going to happen and well it was.
Loki walked up to Freya table and sat down. Ais didn't, she instead stood next to the open window next to Loki. Freya looked at Ais, Ais didn't dare to look at her. She knows about Freya's charm. Loki noticed this and slightly opened her eyes at Freya. Freya chuckled at her and resumed to look back at the window where multiple people are passing by having fun at today's event.
"So Loki. What are you doing here? (smiles)"
"I just came here because I was bored. Besides what is a goddess like you doing here.… By yourself?" Loki stated clearly confused. If anyone had the balls to kill Freya then they'd have the chance right there however
"Fufu~ who says I'm alone?" Loki raised an eyebrow, Ais tapped her on the shoulder and gestures her to a table not far from there's. Loki looked at the direction Ais gestured and slightly gulps. She then looked back at Freya who was smiling in amusement at Loki reaction to seeing them here
Ottarl and Allen. The captain and vice captain of Freya familia.
"Ok… well now that 'that's' out of the way tell me Freya… what are you scheming?" Loki wasn't playing around anymore. She needed to know what Freya is after.
Recently Freya hasn't showed up to the gods banquet and denatus as well. She has been… distant. All the gods thought that she didn't want to hang out with people like them. Loki however thought of another reason.
"Don't tell me Ottarl is about to reach level 8"
Freya didn't respond and only looked at her with a tiny glint in her eyes. Loki noticing the glint slightly opened her eyes. The temperature in the cafe was cold. Nobody dared to say a word. Ais, Ottarl, and Allen were also frozen by the atmosphere the two gods were showing. Some where starting to imagine what would happen if these went toe to toe with their acranam power.
When Loki mentioned Ottarl close to reaching level 8 Allen and Ais instantly looked at Ottarl who wasn't paying attention to them. He had his eyes closed enjoying his own atmosphere. Allen glared at Ottarl for thinking that he's going to leave him and the others behind.
Ais wanted to know how to get stronger and fast. 'Maybe I should ask… him to-' her train of thoughts were vanished when she herd Loki sigh and settle herself down. Freya closed her eyes and looked back at the window seeing the crowd walking by.
"Well who is it?" Freya raised an eyebrow but soon calculated what Loki is thinking of right now. To Loki surprise she sighed in disappointment.
"Sadly… there hasn't been anyone to be in my interest." She said with sadness. Ottarl frowned and Allen frowned.
"Your… joking right?" Loki was clearly dumbfounded. Freya to not FIND someone in her interest is something in a lifetime to hear. She and Ais have herd the ways she created her familia. They were all the same. She finds them in a dark dirty alleyway and to them they found their soul and passion to live.
"(sighs) No I'm not… to be honest Loki… I… I might go bac-" she was cutoff by the crowd screaming in fear.
"MONSTERS!"
"RUN!"
"WHAT IS THAT!"
"M-mommy I'm s-scared"
Ais, Ottarl, and Allen instanly leaned over the window and looked to their right to see multiple monsters on the run. Ais looked back at Loki who nodded to let her leave. Ais jumped out of the window and ran towards the direction the monsters were coming from.
"Well now that that's finished I guess we should go." Freya stood up from her chair and was about to leave
"Wait! (Freya turns around) Your not going to send them out their as well?" Loki was obviously talking about Ottarl and Allen, Freya could only laugh.
"Why should I send them when your princess is already dealing with them?"
"But-" she cut her off
"Besides, to my guess this has something to do with today's event. So Ganesha familia is probably on their way to fix it as well." Loki didn't speak after that. She was right.
"Well we can resume our conversation later Loki, goodbye." Freya waved at her leaving Loki there who was just staring at her leaving.
"Hopefully your right." She muttered under her breath hoping everything goes right.
While Ais was waking to the direction where it all started she was able to kill some along the way. She saw two guild instructors there trying to find help. They saw Ais running towards them and were happy that it was the 'Sword Princess'
"Kenki, the monsters were somehow released from the coliseum. There all at southwest of Daedalus street." The half-elf guild advisor told her straight to the point. Ais thanked her for that. She then ran to the southwestern part of Dealdauls street.

10 minutes earlier
"Yeah show that monster who's boss!"
"Tame it!"
"That monster is weak!"
"Forget about taming it! Kill it!"
Citizens were cheering and roaring at the coliseum. They see a Ganesha familia member there with a lasso and whip on them to tame the ferocious beast. The beast he's trying to tame was a silverback. It wasn't easy but he did it.
The crowd were amazed and clapped for congratulation. Three Loki familia adventurers were a bit confused though.
"I thought that they would tame a dragon?" Tiona
"I guess they can't find one since dragons are strong as hell." Tione
"I honestly don't understand why they would want to tame a dragon instead of a silverback. There more harder." Lefiya answered. Wondering if they would see something else spectacular like before. As they guessed it a dragon came out of the coliseum next. It was an infant dragon so it isn't that strong but is still enough trouble like the rest of them.
The person who was going to tame it was non other than Shakti Varma, 'Ankusha,' the captain of the Ganesha familia. Everyone erupted into cheering at the sight of her. Like some rare adventurers she has the beauty to rival a goddess.
"Ah well this really isn't a surprise." Tione
"Yeah your right. Out of everyone here I think Shakti is the perfect candidate to tame this dragon." Lefiya said with a smile. She and Tione were about to ask Tiona thoughts but she was distracted on eating.
""Seriously?"" They both said in a disappointed tone.
"Let the show begin!" Ganesha hollered to everyone in the coliseum.
The bell has rung, meaning that the show will begin. Shakti instantly started to pull her lasso out and was wiping it around. The dragon was circling around her. Everyone were leaning from their seats waiting for one of them to make a move until
"ROOOAARRWW!" The dragon flew to Shakti who smirked since she knew that would happen. She jumped high above the dragon, she then landed on top of the dragon and started to punch its back. The dragon roared in pain and crash landed on the ground.
Shakti got her lasso out ready to tie the dragon up and tame it but something unexpected happened...
The dragon instantly got up to his feet and started to smell the area, once he smelled it the dragon roared.
"ROOOAAAHHHH!" As he roared it was signal to all the monsters… he's here

"How the hell did this happen!?" Tiona
"I don't know but we need to take care of these monsters before anybody gets hurt." Tione.
Lefiya and Tiona nodded and instantly went to work on killing the monsters on the streets. Lefiya used her Arcs Ray magic while Tione and Tiona used their fists. They would use their weapons but it's been damaged due to the previous expedition.
They killed half of them at the area they were at. Seeing that people are still afraid Lefiya was going to ask a citizen if there are anymore monsters but she Tiona, and Tione felt the ground shake.
"""Uh oh.""" Lefiya, Tiona, Tione
Soon the ground erupted showing green vines pop out then 3 head plant like monsters appeared.
"What the hell are these doing here?!" Tiona asked confused.
The ground didn't stop shaking. Soon another patches of monsters erupted from the ground and starting fleeing to outer areas to cause more chaos.
"We need to deal with these first then the others got it!" Tione
Tiona and Lefiya nodded. Lefiya instantly started to cast her magic while Tiona and Tione backed her up.
"Proud warrior, snipers of the forest. Take up your bows before the advancing plunderers. Answer the call o-"she was cutoff by the plant creature who almost bit her leg off. Lefiya was confused for a second but shook her head 'Now's not the time for that!' She started to chant again.
"Proud warrior, snipers of the forest. Take up your bows before the advancing plunderers. Answer the call o-" but again she was cutoff by the plant creature. She looked at Tiona and Tione who were struggling to deal with 3 of them at the same time. Lefiya thought of a reason she thinks their going after her
"I can't chant my magic! We need more help to distract them in order for me to chant it out!" She screamed at Tiona and Tione who herd her loud and clear.
"If that's the CASE! *punch* Then we need more help!" Tione
"Lefiya go and get the others from the manor. Bring Bete or Gareth here as quickly as you can!" Tiona. Lefiya nodded and turned around so she can get reinforcements but…
"GAH!" Lefiya spitted out blood when she felt someone punch her in the stomach hard.
""Lefiya!!!"" Tiona Tione
Lefiya was sent back to a wall. She felt to her knees and was clutching her stomach in pain. Tiona was about to rush in and help but got slashed by plant creature. Tione who saw it activated her [Berserk] skill having enough to see her sisters in trouble.
"THE HELL WITH THIS!!" She launched towards two creatures at once and was able to hold them off. Again Tiona was about to go and help Lefiya but the other unoccupied creature went straight towards her.
'Dammit!' She screamed in her head. Both Hiryute sisters had their hands full unable to help the helpless Lefiya.
Lefiya looked up to see the person that punched her. He had a white mask on with a black tattered cloak on. He walked towards Lefiya who was trying her best to stand up. She failed miserably and got a hand onto her neck choking her, lifting her up in to eye point view. Lefiya was looking at the person with horrified eyes.
"Your weak like your familia." Lefiya was starting to see darkness.
"Don't worry about your familia.(smiles sadistically behind the mask) We WILL take good care of them" he said with such malicious that added more fear into Lefiya
'Please…… someone…… help me…' she was on the bringe of dying
(Cue Music. SAO 'Death Angel' OST)

"DRAGON OF THE DARKNESS FLAME!"
A black fire dragon was launched towards the masked man direction with high speed that distracted everyone there even the monsters….

especially a golden haired swordswomen who arrived at the scene a tad late…
.
The masked man wasn't able to get out of the attack in time and was hit by the attack.
"GAAHHH!!" He was crashing into the buildings behind him adding more pain to the blow he's receiving

As soon as the dragon was blasted the creatures let Tiona and Tione go and screeched at a high pitch voice
"EEEEEKKKKKK!!!" They threw Tiona and Tione at a wall like they were nothing
The plants tried to find the source of that blast and soon…
They found him
"EEEEEEKKKK!!" The 3 creatures launched towards him with the full intent of kill

While mid run they stopped

They soon started to back away from him

The golden haired person looked at the scene in shock until she knew why they backed away

Bloodlust

It was high
.
It was so high that they even froze at their spot not knowing that they were shaking as well

'This feeling… it's familiar…' Ais

He started to walk towards them

The people witnessing this didn't know if they were going crazy or not but they his shadow… it showed a dragon…
They creatures sent their green vines at him but it was no use since the fire around him burned it into crisps hurting the plant creatures… soon fire started to form around his hands and feet.…
The sky turned grey…

The monsters that escaped and roaming around stopped what they were doing and looked towards his direction… they ran there

To kill him
.
Not even 10 seconds later all the monsters were right there glaring at him.

The real enemy

Tiona and Tione who got up were watching this in total shock. They felt their bodies shake… Lefiya was long passed out by the bloodlust

"ROOOAAARRRR!!!" All the monsters launched towards him readying their battle against the common enemy

"Darkness fills my soul, evil within my soul, not even the purist light, only darkness, I command you darkness, within me, to release."
"BLACK PURGE!" Black fire and darkness soon erupted from his body and scattered everywhere at high speed…

It went to the monsters directions

Killing every single one of them
.
Soon magic crystals fell down to the ground, the sky turned back to normal, bloodlust gone, as well as his appearance.

The adventurers there were amazed by the sheer power this person has brought. The citizens who hid from the battlefield soon came out and started to cheer for the young lad in front of him…
He had white hair, white as snow, red ruby eyes that made girls blush looking into them, his young doll face feature. He wore a black cloak, gauntlets, chest plate, and armor boots, all black. The most noticeable thing about him though is his red scarf.…

He walked up to the unconscious elf who was now starting to wake up. When she opened her eyes she was met by ruby eyes looking at her dark blue ones. He offered her a hand to her with a small smile on his face
"Hi there, sorry I didn't make it on time."

"My my~ looks like I may have found someone worthy~" she blushed thinking of him in her hands

Sorry if it didn't turn out like you guys wanted. Well yes i know "why did you do this so early?" Hey, my story deal with it. Like I said multiple times I'm changing things up with the timeline so I can make things work my way. So sorry. I'm sticking half canon and non half. You'll probably see non half in the next 10 chapter I think if I keep the pace up.
I actually didn't want this to be his welcome to Orario like this but I was just listening to soundtracks while writing and well… Death Angel played.
Please tell me if there are any grammar errors and I will fix em as fast as I can. Other than that let me know what you guys think about this chapter. Is it bad? Good? Horrible? Great? Nobody knows except you guys.
