Isaac was on his knees, his head bowed in prayer. Hades, the newly-restored Hermes, Hephaestus, and Bunnie, Rotor, and Antoine were fixing armored plates onto Isaac's body, being of Spartan origin.
"This enchanted armor will give you much needed protection! The armor will maintain itself through your transformations, maintaining its fit." Hephaestus explained, fixing the last plate onto his shoulder.
"Here. This helm of invisbility will give you the edge of stealth! Just make sure to maintain yourself out of my idiot brother's sight." Hades instructed, handing Isaac his helm of invisibilty.
"And make sure to survive this fight! That's my only helm of invisibility!" Hades added.
"Oh, calm yourself! If Isaac is defeated in battle, you realize we're all next, correct?" Hermes explained.
"Don't listen to them, Isaac! Just remember, there are more important things at risk! Mainly, the entire population of Mobius. Just focus on the task at hand, alright?" Rotor said. But Isaac wasn't listening, his mind was focused on his prayers, calling upon Elohim and His Kingdom to lead him to victory.
Suddenly, Rotor's watch beeped, signaling that their time was up!
"We're out of time! Isaac, just remember, hit hard and hit often!" Hermes instructed, giving him a pat on his shoulder. Isaac's eyes opened, glowing intensely.
Zeus walked out from the Pantheon, wearing a clean toga. His eyes were glowing brightly, his muscles enlarged with coursing electricity. He walked to the center of Olympus, Isaac still on his knees. Closing his eyes, Isaac rose from his position, revealing he was wearing Hermes' sandals, the wings gently fluttering.
"You remind me of Perseus, mortal. He too borrowed from the gods of Olympus. Of course, it wasn't to overthrow us." Zeus observed.
"Only overthrowing you, Zeus. The others are not tyrants like you." Isaac responded.
"You call me a tyrant, but you don't know what kind of power is required to rule Olympus! There is no room for mercy!" Zeus said.
Ares, the God of War, walked between the two, ready to initiate the fight.
"This shall be a fight to submission. The first to pass out or to beg for mercy, shall be eliminated. Winner shall maintain the throne of Olympus. Combatants, meet in the middle and shake hands. This is still a fight of honor." Ares instructed, Isaac and Zeus walking to Ares, shaking hands.
"You're miserable life will be extinguished this night." Zeus whispered, his grip beginning to crush Isaac's hand. Isaac took a deep breathe, using his strength against Zeus.
"I have a more powerful God in my corner, Zeus. And He shall not allow your tyrannical rule decimate His people any longer." Isaac returned, the both of them releasing each other.
"Fight!" Ares yelled out, quickly leaping from the area! Zeus launched himself towards Isaac with a lightning-infused fist! Isaac quickly threw himself away, Zeus missing by a few inches! Isaac retaliated with his sword, horizontally sweeping towards Zeus! Zeus allowed the blade to hit him, the blade merely bouncing from his side! With a strong hand, Zeus grabbed the blade, snapping it from the hilt!
"You were never prepared for this fight!" Zeus exclaimed, a sudden backhand knocking Isaac off of his feet! Zeus changed the position of the blade, the tip of the blade pointing towards the ground.
Grabbing Isaac by his collar, Zeus reeled his hand back, the blade pointing towards Isaac's heart!
"Goodbye, mortal. I must tell you, this... this wasn't difficult." Zeus said, ramming the blade towards Isaac! Suddenly, Isaac's hand stopped the blade, shaking! A small stream of blood was running from Isaac's mouth, his face turning red from the effort to stop Zeus' hand!
Zeus' hand was slowly getting closer to Isaac, the tip of the blade getting closer! As the blade was getting closer to Isaac, the gorund beneath him was drying out, the air around him beginning to grow hotter!
"Just give in! Let me extinguish your pathetic flame!" Zeus exclaimed, bringing the blade closer!
"How's this for a flame?!" Isaac bellowed, his body becoming shrouded with Hellfire! Zeus attempted to ram the blade into Isaac, before he himself was catapulted from the blast of energy! Zeus fell onto the ground, quickly leaping back onto his feet! He soon saw Isaac in his Demonic form, the blade of Isaac's sword embedded into his chest!
Isaac calmly reached for the blade, deftly pulling it out of his chest! the blade hit the ground, incandescent! Smiling wickedly, Isaac cracked his knuckles, slowly walking towards Zeus.
"I'm done playing around!" Isaac exclaimed, launching himself towards Zeus! Isaac launching himself shattered the sound barrier, creating a ripple of energy, deafening the others! Isaac's fist collided with Zeus' chest, propelling him from Olympus! Getting a running start, Isaac leaped from the ground, Hermes' sandals giving him flight more efficient than his wings could, not having to rely on his own physical endurance!
Isaac's fire illuminated the night sky, bathing the landscape of Spagonia in an unnatural light! The skies began to churn with stormclouds, lightning beginning to strike the mountainside of Olympus! Isaac's sights were on Zeus, seeing him charging up!
"TAKE THIS!" Isaac yelled, taking in a deep breathe and unleashing a torrent of Hellfire! Zeus responded by letting loose with a great storm of lightning, the two energies colliding with one another! The two colliding energies created a terrible shockwave, equal to the atomic bombs that took out Hiroshima and Nagasaki!
The shockwave sent Isaac and Zeus away from each other, knocking them off course! While disoriented, Isaac regained himself, seeing Zeus was spinning! Taking advantage of the situation, Isaac donned Hades' Helm of Invisibility, disappearing out of sight. Shaking his head, Zeus was surveying the land, trying to find sight of Isaac!
"WHERE ARE YOU?! WHERE ARE YOU?!" Zeus howled, trying to find him! Suddenly, an impact equal to an 800mm Howitzer round collided with Zeus, launching him from the horizon! Stopping, Zeus closed his eyes, opening them to see the electrical field around him! He soon saw Isaac, still in his Demonic form! Charging up, Zeus launched himself towards Isaac, a great punch of equal measure colliding with him, knocking the Helm of Invisibility off of his head!
Grabbing it, Zeus proceeded to crush, rendering it unusable! He threw it down below him, finding themselves to be below the Mediterranean Sea! Smirking, he grabbed the dazed Isaac, lifting him above his head and throwing him down, swiftly removing Hermes' sandals from his feet! Clawing at the air, Isaac plummeted to the water, crashing into the sea below!
"Let's see how my brother will take care of you." Zeus calmly said, gently floating down towards the water below.
Isaac opened his eyes, finding himself in the sea. He began to claw his way to the surface, before a firm grip on his ankle prevented him being able to do so! He looked down, seeing a bearded Olympian below him, wielding a trident!
"Poseidon!" Isaac exclaimed, his voice distorted by the water around him. The water began to churn, the sea itself becoming torrential! Suddenly, a great waterspout formed, launching Isaac from the sea and into the air! Poseidon followed, his trident leading him towards Isaac! The weapon of Poseidon impaled Isaac, Isaac's blood beginning to run freely!
Wings taking over his ability of flight, Isaac grabbed Poseidon by his shoulders, beginning to spin with the waterspout! Freeing himself from the trident, Isaac savagely launched Poseidon from himself, sending his body soaring towards Olympus! Poseidon collided with one of the summits of the mountain, falling further into the mountain.
Caverns of Olympus:
Poseidon crashed through the cavern, landing flat onto his stomach. He slowly rose, coughing. He used his trident as support, unable to stand on his own. He looked around, seeing relics of ancient Greece around the cave.
"Where... where am I?" Poseidon asked himself, before turning around, seeing Amphios in the cavern.
"You... you're Lycus' kid." Poseidon observed, relieved to see a denizen of the sea. Amphios was gritting his teeth, finally confronted by his beloved's abuser.
"Yes... but tell me, who is behind you?" Amphios asked, pointing to behind Poseidon. Poseidon looked behind himself, seeing Medusa and her sisters! Horrified, Poseidon quickly shut his eyes, Medusa's gaze able to affect him... something that was enabled by Athena's curse. Stheno and Euryale ran to Poseidon, kicking his trident from his grasp, forcing him onto his knees! They pryed at his eyes, forcefully opening them! He saw Medusa staring into his, feeling his entire body become rigged!
"NO! NO! NNNNOOOOOOO-" Poseidon began to howl, before becoming stone. Breathing heavily, Medusa and her sisters fell to their knees, some part of their nightmare over.
"Is he actually dead?" Euryale asked. Amphios strided to the stone corpse of Poseidon, launching his arm into the statue, smashing it! As soon as it had shattered, a wisp of energy entered Amphios, causing his body to tense up! Suddenly, his clothes turned into armor, adopting a Spartan armor, lightweight, but durable enough to withstand a good blow. His muscles began to enlarge and tone, becoming more athletic in his appearance.
The trident appeared on his back, secured with a strap. Amphios hesitantly equipped the trident, realizing a new truth. One that he had not foreseen in his visions.
"I'm... I'm the new God of the Sea?" Amphios asked aloud. Suddenly, he clenched his eyes, feeling them pulse. His ability to see into the future began to vanish, replaced by his blindness being cured! His eyes changed from its milky-white color to a vibrant aquamarine color, practically glowing!
He looked upon Medusa and his sisters, seeing their forms were still unchanged! But their gaze had no effect on him, even though he was no longer blind.
"Your... your curse. It's gone!" Amphios observed. He walked to her, his hand caressing her face. The serpents reacted positively to the touch.
"But... we're still not who we were! We're still hideous!" Medusa said, saddened by their appearance.
"Medusa... you were never hideous to me. None of you ever were!" Amphios said, quickly embracing her.
The Skies of Spagonia:
Isaac and Zeus were trading blows, each punch and kick making a connection creating shockwaves of energy! Isaac reeled a fist, cracking it against Zeus' jaw! As Zeus slightly fell, Isaac grabbed his ankles, swinging him in a whirlwind, releasing him towards Olympus! Isaac flew after him, intent on keeping him guessing on his next strike!
"No honor to be had here, Zeus! Allowing your brother to interfere?!" Isaac exclaimed, throwing another punch! Zeus responded by grabbing his fist, suddenly grabbing his wings! Zeus then launched his fist into Isaac's sternum, shattering Hephaestus' enchanted armor! The sudden impact, combined with Zeus' powers, drained a large portion of Isaac's energy, reverting Isaac out of his Demonic form!
"Why maintain honor, when you will not be around to see it?!" Zeus yelled, sending another punch into Isaac, launching him into the side of Mount Olympus! Isaac indented into the mountain, immobilized, his body broken! Zeus slowly floated down to his level, his arms crossed in front of him.
"Why did you fight me, Isaac? Why did you, a mortal with some abnormal powers, decide to fight me, a God of Olympus?" Zeus calmly asked, as if the fight had never occured. Isaac tried to say choke out a few words, but Zeus had stopped him.
"Was it honor? Power? Some misplaced sense of justice? Or was it because you believed that there was no room for a God of Olympus such as myself?" Zeus asked.
"I...I..." Isaac attempted to say, before being stopped by Zeus again.
"It doesn't matter. None of this matters. But know this... after I kill you... that little family of yours I've been hearing so much about will be next... after I kill those traitors up on the summit." Zeus said, reeling back another fist! He struck Isaac, sending him further into the mountain!
But with every strike Zeus put upon him, Isaac was seeing flashes of the land he had seen in his dreams. WIth every punch, he saw flashes of the Nephilim woman that had taught him how to use his other powers. With one great punch, Isaac was sent through Olympus, exiting out the other end, falling into the ravine below!
"It's nice to see you again, Isaac." The Architect said, looking sad. Isaac looked around, seeing the land around him dying. Isaac tried to breath, but every breathe felt like knives stabbing into his chest!
"I'm dying, aren't I?" Isaac asked, the Architect nodding, confirming this.
"You need to pick yourself up and stop him! He's going to kill Rotor, Atoine, Aunt Bunnie, everyone!" She exclaimed.
"Well, I can't just get up and... wait... what did you just say?" Isaac asked, hearing something in her speech.
"What? I said, you need to get up and stop that horrible, horrible deity from killing them!" The Architect said, trying to walk away. Isaac grabbed her hand, stopping her in her tracks!
"Architect... who are you?" Isaac asked. The Architect tried to escape Isaac's grip, but he refused to let her go.
"I'm sorry, but I can't tell you! And right now, you're dying! And you're going to die, unless you wake up!" She said, again attempting to escape Isaac's grip. Isaac refused to let go.
"If I don't get answers, I will be dying here... and you'll have caused it for not answering my questions." Isaac said, giving an ultimatum. Cursing to herself, she relented.
"It's Camilla! My name is Camilla!" She said, trying to get away. Isaac wasn't having it.
"What else?" Isaac asked.
"What would you want to know?" Camilla asked. Isaac gently squeezed her hand.
"How's this? I'm going to ask 'yes' and 'no' questions. Squeeze my hand for yes, alright?" Isaac requested. After hesitation, Camilla nodded.
"Are you someone I know?" Isaac asked. Camilla did nothing.
"Are you someone I will know?" Isaac asked. She squeezed his hand.
"Are you someone in my future?" Isaac asked. She squeezed his hand.
"Are you the child of one of my friends?" Isaac asked. Camilla did nothing. Suddenly, it hit Isaac... hard!
"By Elohim... you're my daughter?" Isaac asked. Camilla shut her eyes, tears streaming. Overwhelmed with emotion, Isaac brought her to him, embracing her! Camilla hugged him back, beginning to cry!
"Shhh, it's alright. I'm here." Isaac whispered, comforting her.
"Z-Zeus killed you, Isaac! He killed you, and tried to kill the others! But Uncle Hermes, he got them out of there and hid them away from him! He stayed with us, protecting us! Please, don't die!" Camilla explained, hugging Isaac tighter!
Isaac felt a strange energy in his veins, something he had only felt as a fraction in his Demonic form! The world was suddenly becoming vibrant, as if resurrected! Isaac was glowing, his aura radiating a powerful force!
"Put Zeus down, Isaac!" Camilla exclaimed, herself disappearing from the world.
Isaac's eyes shot open, glowing brightly! His broken body was mending, healing as the energy coursed through his veins! The aura was lifting him from the ground, pieces of golden armor appearing, attaching themselves to his body! As soon as the last piece of armor attached to himself, a new pair of wings erupted from his body, as if made from light! He was a foot taller, as with his Demonic form, but he felt a new purity with this form!
"I have to get to the summit!" Isaac said to himself, quickly launching his body towards the sky! His wings were flapping as fast as he could, breaking the sound barrier as soon as he launched himself from the ground!
Summit of Olympus:
"The mortal is dead! I am still ruler of Olympus! And now, I am going to finally prune the tree of Olympus!" Charging up his powers! Hermes, Hades, and Hephaestus quickly surrounded Rotor, Bunnie, and Antoine, intent on not allowing them to come to harm!
"Dear nephew, while we distract Zeus, take the mortals and get them to safety. We'll hold him off!" Hades instructed, equipping a scythe.
"I never wanted this to happen! I am so sorry, everyone!" Hermes said, regretful on his decisions.
"Hermes, it's alright! I mean, Zeus was probably going to do this, anyway! But we'll find a way out of this!" Rotor said.
"No! It's not alright! Because of me, Isaac is dead! I killed Isaac! What are we going to tell Sally?!" Hermes said.
"Why don't we focus on not getting killed by a Greek God, how about that?!" Bunnie exclaimed, focused on other matters. But in a sudden flash of golden light, something collided with Zeus, sending him skyrocketing! Hovering above Olympus was Isaac, clad in the golden armor of the angels of the Kingdom!
"Isaac? Hey, Isaac's not dead!" Hephaestus exclaimed, relieved at seeing Zeus was unsuccessful!
"I'll take care of him! Hermes, get the others to the sloop!" Isaac said, flying after Zeus!
"Well, you heard him! Come on, follow me!" Hermes said, leading the others towards the exit from the summit.
Isaac was following Zeus close, prepared to end this, once and for all! Zeus was on the retreat, trying to lose Isaac through the mountain! As Isaac was after him, they passed an aircraft, one of which Isaac recognized.
"Tails? What is he doing out here?! Doesn't he know how dangerous it is around here?!" Isaac thought to himself. Seeing the aircraft, Zeus changed directions, suddenly landing on the wing of the plane!
"Not on my watch, Zeus!" Isaac exclaimed, hurtling towards him! Isaac collided with Zeus, sending him crashing down towards the mountain range below! Isaac was left on the wing, looking into the cockpit. He saw Tails, Sonic, Rouge, Knuckles, and Amy. But he also saw two others he didn't recognize. Another hedgehog and some kind of bat-hybrid. Giving them a nod, he leaped from the wing, flying towards where Zeus fell.
"Bunnie and Antoine told me what you did to Hermes when he challenged your rule! So... consider this a bit of payback!" Isaac declared, swinging a downward kick into Zeus' back! Zeus indented into the ground, attempting to pick himself up! Isaac landed in front of him, grabbing his shoulder and picking him up from the ground!
"TAKE THIS!" Isaac yelled, delivering a devastating punch! Zeus rocketed from his fist, being sent through the mountains! The sound of the impact reached the summit of Olympus, being heard by the others!
"Holy... did you hear that?!" Hephaestus asked. Hades nodded, remembering the last time he had heard that sound.
"What goes around, comes around." Hades responded. Zeus' body fell onto the summit, beaten and broken. His eyes were dimming, the same electrical current that once radiated throughout his entire body was failing him. Isaac landed a few feet from him, cracking his knuckles.
"You... cannot defeat... a GOD OF OLYMPUS!" Zeus yelled, a bolt of lightning crashing down onto him. Zeus' body levitated from the ground, an etheral form exiting from him! It appeared as Zeus, except larger by multiple sizes! He raised a fist above him, slamming down towards Isaac!
Isaac leaped out of the way, Zeus' fist slamming into the ground, shaking the entirety of Olympus! Closing his eyes, Isaac extended his right hand above him, it glowing intensely! Suddenly, a blade materialized in his hand, a golden sword with strange inscriptions!
"Do you believe a blade such as that can defeat me?!" Zeus questioned.
"No." Isaac simply responded. In rapid succession, Isaac thrust the blade into himself, etheral blood spilling from his body! The blood pooling at his feet soon assembled itself, creating multiple forms! They looked like Isaac, but each one was merely a copy of himself!
Isaac pulled the blade from his body, the wound healing itself over. The copies soon launched themselves into the air, Isaac following. They quickly surrounded Zeus' ethereal form, equipping blades of their own! Zeus was looking around wildly, unsure of which one was actually Isaac or a copy!
"Ready!" Isaac yelled, he and the copies poitning the tip of the blades towards Zeus!
"Fire!" Isaac ordered, each copy firing a beam of energy! The energy surrounded Zeus, coiling around his body as restraints! Zeus fought against the bindings, but he soon found himself being forced back into his physical body! Suddenly, in a flash of light, Zeus was physical again, forced back into his broken and battered body.
Isaac slowly approached Zeus, his copies phasing back into his own, soon becoming one person once again. Zeus looked up from his position, seeing the Nephilim over him.
"You... cannot kill... me!" Zeus said, his voice lost.
"No, I cannot... but you will wish I did." Isaac responded, sheathing his blade. Taking a step forward, Isaac grabbed underneath Zeus' chin, his free hand anchoring himself on Zeus' shoulder! With great effort, Isaac ripped Zeus' head from his body, decapitating him!
"Damn!" Hades exclaimed, seeing a repeat of what had happened to Hermes several thousand years ago!
"Olympus... is free!" Isaac declared, hoisting Zeus' still-conscious head above his own!
