Chapter 23: Black Darkling takes over the Wedding
The wedding, the remarriage ceremony between Darkling and Kelly all had gone smoothly so far. Everyone who attended the wedding is having a great time and partying. Couples are dancing with each other (especially Darkling & Kelly) and everyone is smiling. Lara, and even Tony, while both undercover so their son doesn't notice them, are having a great time.
Well, except for our prince, Mario the Sonic Plush, who is feeling disappointed. It's not because Darkling and Kelly are married again nor the wedding itself.
Rarity is busy drinking the alcohol they sell at the wedding and some of the food (she will be drunk after the wedding is over), plus she wanted to dance & chill on her own, so it's just MTSP and Twilight together for now, attending the wedding party as a couple, trying to have fun and dance.
Mario had backed out of it.
Twilight walks over to the prince.
"What's the matter? Why don't you want to join in?" asked Twilight.
The prince sighs.
"It's just that.. I am not that big on partying. Ever since me and my ex-girlfriend got drunk as shit when we were in high school, I swore to myself never to party much again. Plus, I don't feel all the great ever since that injustice with Darkling being imprisoned. Having to fight multiple foes isn't always easy. I need to relax," said MTSP.
"Oh. I understand," said Twilight.
The prince nods.
Meanwhile, Darkling is taking a break from dancing with Kelly.
Suddenly, a dark cloud appears right above Darkling. A dark shadow spirit of Darkling's evil self appears from the cloud right in front of him.
"Hello.." said the creepy voice of the shadow
"Who are you?" asked Darkling
"I am your evil self, Darkling. The shadowy spirit that was taken away from your body at the hands of Mario the Sonic Plush and his allies. We both merged together, your dark but heroic half and your evil half. You do want revenge against Celestia for putting you in Tartarus and next to the monster known as Tirek, don't you?" The evil shadow had asked
CT Darkling Drac scratches his chin, thinking about it.
"You had to think about it, first, didn't you?! Answer me now!" screamed the evil shadow
"I would want revenge, but after I had changed my ways..I don't know what anybody would think of me." said Darkling
"Oh? But you're a scary monster. It's in your blood and nature to scare. You're a vampire! You can't expect to be Mister Nice Vampire all the time. You don't have to kill Celestia, but just put her in a time out or brutally beat her up." said the evil shadow
"Fine, but under one condition. The form I will be in shall be temporary like these super and dark forms I hear about. After I am done, I should return back to normal." said Darkling
"Very well, then." said the shadowy spirit.
Darkling blows a bubble and traps his wife, Kelly, inside of it to protect her from the harm.
The shadowy, dark spirit merges with the vampire. Darkling's pupils and iris glows yellow-green from burning hatred. His sclera becomes all bright light white. His skin becomes more tan, and his body becomes much more black, with a shade of dark blue all around to be more visible. His hair is lifted more pointed at the sky like the wind blowing his hair rather than it being normal, pointy, spiky hair.
He is now "Black Darkling".
Everyone gasps.
Darkling, as Black Darkling, goes up and decides to confront Princess Celestia first.
"Darkling! What do you think you're doing?!" asked Princess Celestia, almost freaking out by the vampire's new form
Darkling/Black Darkling chuckles.
"You think I don't know the HELL you put me through? The fact that not only you had the audacity to put me in Tartarus but you left me next to this piece of shit red centaur thing. I believe his name was Tirek, if I am not mistaken," he said.
"That was for you to be taught a lesson. It was a punishment. We had to do it after the atrocities that you were causi-" said Celestia, explaining to Darkling why she did it.
Black Darkling had cut her off.
"I don't want to hear it!" Darkling yelled
Black Darkling throws a black fire towards Celestia, and creates a metal cage for her to be trapped in for a while.
"Please get me out, now!" yelled Celestia
"Sorry, but until you learn your lesson for imprisoning me in Tartarus, right next to Tirek, you won't come out." said Darkling/Black Darkling
His expression turns into a creepy grin.
Darkling chuckles.
"Don't you get it?! It's us monster species's nature to be cruel sometimes. Perhaps us vampires, werewolves, and others are not the ones who have caused all the atrocities. You have by yourself. You let these villains who are worse than us roam around scot free, and you leave it all to Mario, Twilight and others to stop but never do you even help them stop the threats. You were the one behind all of it, yet we are the ones who get punished. Remind me, who let a certain draconequus get off free with no consequences? Oh, it was you, Celestia. I know it was, and now hopefully, the lesson will be learned." Darkling said
Darkling walks over.
Some start to agree with Darkling or at least say that he makes a great point. However, some are shocked and scared by the way he went about it.
Kelly's parents, John & Clara, hug the poor, angered vampire. Their son in-law. His kids, Eliza & Draci join in the hug.
Tears are shedding from Darkling's eyes, as he hugs the rest of his family back.
Darkling looks at Kelly, who is crying at her husband.
"Please...don't do this." Kelly said, begging for her husband to stop
"What? I only put Celestia in a time out. It's not like I will kill her or anything." said Darkling
Kelly sighs, in relief that he won't kill.
The hugging stops.
"Wow...poor Darkling. He's suffered through so much hell," said Mario
"I know, hun. It's heartbreaking," said Twilight
"It sucks," said Shenlong.
"Well, we haven't seen the last of Black Darkling's wrath yet," said Atirik.
"I wonder who he will go after next. I hope it isn't me," said "Shadow" Flynn.
"I don't want to see you get trapped by Black Darkling," said Mario, to Flynn.
"Same here, dude. I hope I don't have to deal with that," said "Shadow" Flynn.
Lara and Tony, still in disguise, are minding their own business until they bump into Darkling/Black Darkling. Both humans gasps at the sight of the vampire.
"Darkling...I know it's you," said Tony.
Black Darkling slashes the disguises off of Lara and Tony with his claws. He turns into a giant bat and grabs Tony.
"It's good to see you again, old friend." Darkling said.
Darkling/Black Darkling throws Tony on the ground. He turns back into his Black Darkling form.
The vampire smirks at his foe.
"What do you want with me? Why do you hate me so much?" asked Tony
Darkling chuckles.
"You're kidding me right? You are asking ME why I hate you? It's because instead of acting like a normal fucking parent, a functioning father, all you did was beat up and abuse your son. Your son who used to support you. You even favored Anti-Mario over him, and he's only your child because he shares DNA with your son. He wasn't naturally born yet you still left him alone and only abused Mario. You punished him even when he did nothing wrong. You cussed and called him names. You repeatedly harassed him. You have beaten him up physically to the point where your son ended up in the hospital. It was all your fault. You deserve all the shit you get." Darkling ranted
"That was not even me, it was The D-" said Tony.
He got cut off by Black Darkling.
"That's a lame excuse if I had ever heard of one. Regardless of you being controlled by an entity or not, it was you who mentally and physically abused your son, and there is proof of all of it. You are the one to blame for it," said Darkling "Now we shall have our rematch. The rematch that should have happened 10 years ago. Try to stop me if you can, but I will win."
Darkling smirks.
Tony smirks back at Black Darkling.
"Alright, Drac. I am ready to take you on," said Tony.
Tony floats in the sky and throws a flaming fireball at Darkling/Black Darkling but the vampire dodges the attack and hits Tony.
Black Darkling looks at Tony Rodriguz, with an evil look in his right eye.
All those feelings of burning hatred against humanity and also, pony kind, have greatly developed. He hates that Princess Celestia unjustly imprisoned him in Tartarus when he never belonged there. He hates Tony for abusing Mario, Tony's own flesh & blood. Darkling would have gladly taken Mario as his son if he had to. He hates that Billy Shay and others had brutally bullied him at school when he was younger, just for being who he is. He also hates Billy Shay for taking his wife away from him all these ten cruel years.
Darkling may not hate everyone, but he hates the world for everything that has happened to him and everyone he loves around him.
He wishes for all to suffer, but he isn't evil. Not really, especially when compared to his brother Vektir, and also, his mother. The vampire isn't willing to kill everyone just because. Only to ones that deserve it.
Darkling is willing to get violent towards the man standing right in front of him. He has no mercy against abusive people like Tony.
He is ready to strike his next move.
"Time to pay, old man. Your games are at an end." said Black Darkling
Tony sheds tears.
"Alright. I abused my son. Please. I'm sorry that I did what I did. Let me off the hook, I swear." Tony said, with guilt and remorse
"I will have no mercy, now DIE!" yelled Black Darkling
Black Darkling and Tony have a brutal brawl at the wedding. Both are attacking and almost killing each other.
Tony growls.
"How dare you! You murderer! You will pay!" yelled Tony
"That's enough out of you. Your death is here!" yelled out Black Darkling
Both the vampire and the old man are beating each other up in a bloody pulp.
Everyone gasps at the wedding, in shock.
Meanwhile, Mario has heard & seen the whole thing and is surprised to see both of his parents here.
"My father...he's here, and my mother too," said Mario. When he said the word, "father", his tone and expression on his face, sounded cold, and also, cruel..
Twilight looks concerned.
"What's the matter? Aren't you at least happy to least see your mom and dad?" asked Twilight
"No...no...I'm NOT!" yelled Mario
Twilight sheds tears
"Why-why are you not happy to see them?" asked Twilight
Mario growls.
The prince turns into his dark form, so angry and in rage.
"No, Twily. You don't understand what he did to me..." he said, almost wanting to yell
The prince then explains.
"Don't get me wrong. I am happy to see my mother, at least. However, Tony, (who I can't believe is my biological father) is a different story. I hate this man with every fiber of my being. He was one of the people responsible for my pain throughout all these years. The worst part is, he wasn't always like this. I supported him. I loved him. He was a kind, caring soul. He may have been cold at times, but deep down, I can tell he truly did love me...
One day however...it all began. The man was gone. He no longer was there. Instead, he was replaced by a cruel, dark, piece of shit. He became something straight out of a horror movie nightmare. He started beating me every single day and night. He punished me for minor things. My twin brother Nezeric, also was abused by him, and he had left the family because he was sick of this horrible treatment by Tony, and who could blame him. I became his and Mom's only child, and that was before Anti-Mario came into our lives. Tony once tortured me with a skunk, and that caused my hatred towards them, which is why I reacted that way towards Pepper Clark. He insulted me, told me I ruined the family, and wished I was never born. He gave me no food nor drink when I was punished, leaving me to almost die of starvation. He treated me like garbage almost all my life, and he became a serious alcoholic. This is why I am glad Darkling is giving Tony the fight and beating he deserves. I wish Tony died, and died a horrible, painful death. Scums like him aren't worth living." Mario ranted
Rarity, Mario's other girlfriend, has heard the whole thing and is shocked. Twilight is also shocked.
Both girls (Twilight and Rarity) hug the prince and stroke his quills, while sobbing on his body.
Black Darkling and Tony are still at it. Both have blood and scars all over them. They are both dirty and seem to be at the brink of death.
However, the vampire is powerful and is able to stand up. Tony...his body is about to give up. He knows he stands no chance against Darkling, especially not Black Darkling.
Eventually, Black Darkling has won the fight. Tony is passed out on the ground.
"That'll teach you a lesson for abusing your kid." said Black Darkling
Black Darkling walks off, with Tony, near dead.
Mario, Rarity & Twilight walk over to where both of his parents are.
"…"
The prince can barley speak.
"My son…Mario. It's great to see you again. I thought you were gone forever. I missed you." Lara said, as she runs up and hugs her son
Lara sheds happy tears, emotionally.
Tony just barley gets off the ground.
Tony crosses his arms and doesn't care.
Mario chuckles.
"Well, you know me, Mom. I always get into some sort of trouble hehe," said MTSP.
"Anyways, these two are my girlfriends. I am dating both of them. Meet, Princess Twilight Sparkle and Rarity respectively," said Mario the Sonic Plush, introducing his mom to his girlfriends.
Lara kneels down to Twilight and Rarity, and hugs them like they are her daughters.
"It's nice to finally meet you...I am happy my son has two girls who care for him. It's not the first time he had a girlfriend though.." she said
The hug stops between them.
Black Darkling turns back into his normal vampire self, but he still feels contempt and anger at those who had wronged him.
Princess Celestia is still in her cage.
Darkling might have come back but perhaps this isn't the end of Black Darkling. Far from it.
A smokescreen covers the entire wedding grounds. The crowd gasps in shock.
The image is revealed to be no other than Trixie.
Trixie smirks.
"It's been a while, you all. The Great and Powerful Trixie has made one hell of an entrance," she said.
"Trixie!" exclaimed Mario, Twilight, Rarity, Fluttershy, Pinkie, Rainbow, Applejack and Eliza in unison.
Trixie runs up and hugs her cousin.
"It's great to see you again, Trixie. How are the magic shows doing?" asked Mario
"Oh, they are going well! In fact, right now, my magic shows are a hit across all of Equestria. Everyone seems to like them and some even want Trixie's autograph," Trixie said.
Trixie then notices her aunt Lara and her uncle Tony. She looks at her uncle Tony, in particular, in disgust.
"Hello..Uncle Tony. It's been a while," said Trixie, who has an angry expression on her face.
"Trixie...is that you?" asked Tony.
Trixie nods and punches him. She walks away from him.
Trixie looks back at the mane six.
"However, Trixie has something to reveal, about who she truly is," said Trixie
The mane six gasp. In fact, almost every citizen in Equestria in the crowd is shocked. What was the Great and Powerful Trixie hiding from them?
Mario looks at Twilight and the five.
"You'll see," said MTSP

A glowing red, dark man in armor over his skeletal body, and torn, red glowing fabric on his back is wandering throughout Equestria. He is Lord Darkar, the Shadow Phoenix, known by his real name, Daerious. Without his mask and armor, he is a gray, muscular fox with long, spiky hair almost like Sonic, with a beard and he also wears a dark blue jacket. Very few got to see what he actually looked like and they; especially the fairies in the Winx dimension; thought he was just an ancient deity of pure darkness who spawned at the beginning of time.
Darkar is joined by his sidekick; a girl in her 20s with orange, flowing hair, and a sexy villain like dress. She is Dark Bloom.
Darkar & Dark Bloom spot a creature; a magician pony, Trixie Lulamoon at what appears to be a wedding. Suddenly, it sparked an idea in his head. A horrible, evil, horrible idea.
"We should make this pony join us, and together, with the three of us, we will destroy Equestria until there is nothing left of it.." said Darkar, with a smirk on his face.
"That is a brilliant idea, my loyal husband," said Dark Bloom. She chuckles.
"We will be coming for you, 'Great and Powerful'," said Lord Darkar.
Lord Darkar laughs.
