Chapter 27: Lara's journey

Walking around the streets of Equestria, is a woman around her early 50s. She has flowing blue spiky hair like a human Sonic girl, with some dirty blonde streaks, green eyes, a bit of wrinkles from stress and getting older and a dark black jacket which is used to cover her long sleeve shirt which shows a bit of her bra in it.
She is Lara Larfield. The mother of our hero, Mario the Sonic Plush. The woman who gave birth to the Prince.
Her tears streamed down from her eyes, as she had to endure her ex-husband, Tony Rodriguz, hitting, beating the crap out of her and saying nasty threats in her face.
"Why? Why do I have to suffer so much? It just isn't fair…" thought Lara,
Suddenly, King Sombra approaches Lara, with Chrysalis and the Changelings staying behind.
"Well, well. What do we have here?" King Sombra said, in his gravelly, dark, voice.
"King Sombra? Is that you?" asked Lara,
"The one and only," said Sombra.
"King Sombra, what the fuck do you want with me?!" yelled Lara,
"Calm down. That's no way to speak to your future king. You are just like your son, I swear. To answer your qu-," said Sombra,
"You know my son, Mario?!" Lara exclaimed, surprised that King Sombra knows who MTSP is.
"Duh. Of course, I know of him. He's the legendary Prince of Equestria after all. Some still think of him just a myth," said King Sombra,
"Celestia was right when she said my child will be special, and is the destined Prince of Equestria…" Lara thought, acknowledging that Princess Celestia was right about her baby boy
"Anyways, to answer your question, we are planning to kidnap you. We are going to ask you for answers about your precious pride and joy. If you resist us, you will die," said King Sombra, with a smirk,
Lara grits her teeth.
"Don't you DARE kidnap ME!" she yells
King Sombra is about to trap Lara in the cage, but before he does so, a tall, long black haired, older man wearing a cape, and holding a sword, is seen on the rooftop, going to jump in and kick Sombra's ass like he had already done with several enemies that come near his path (he is a martial artist by the way). The older man looks like he is from Japan, and that he is asian.
"Please….stay away from that woman," the older man said
He then flies from the rooftop, then as he lands, teleports behind Sombra and knocks him out.
"Ow!" Sombra screamed,
King Sombra is passed out on the ground, unable to get up.
Lara blushes.
"T-thank you so much," said Lara, thanking the man
"You're welcome," he said.
He looks straight closer to Lara, and blushes at the sight of her.
"Eh, the names George," he said
"Well, I'm Lara. Hey, do you want to come with me?" she asked,
"Sure, why not. I can use a partner," George said
Lara smiles, in happiness, as she and George begin to walk throughout the streets of Equestria together.

Anti-Mario and Rainbow Dash are sitting inside a restaurant in Ponyville for lunch. Anti-Mario and Rainbow are both eating hayfries, but Anti-Mario has a hayburger while Rainbow has a salad. Both are eating their food.
Once Anti-Mario finishes his hayfries, he goes straight for the hayburger. He chomps and bites into it.
"Yum. Rainbow. You are right. These hayburgers and hayfries taste great. Back where me and Mario come from, we just have hamburgers and french fries. We have more of a variety of different food types back on Earth," said Anti-Mario
"I see.." said Rainbow. Her expression changes to a smile and blushes, "I'm glad you like the food here though! I was afraid you would not have enjoyed it due to you not being used to it and all," she went on to say
"Yes." said Anti-Mario, as he blushes as well, "I love you, Rainbow,"
Rainbow is confused at what he just said.
"What? You mean, you love me? As in? Love me back?" Rainbow asked, in confusion,
"Ye-," said Anti-Mario,
Just when Anti-Mario was about to confess his true feelings to Rainbow, so many fangirls and fanboys who are all ponies, storm up to Anti-Mario.
They mistake him for the prince, his brother.
"Oh my god! It's Prince Mario! RAAAAAAAAAAAA" all the fans screamed.
Anti-Mario and Rainbow are swarmed by the fangirls and fanboys.
"I AM NOT MARIO, I AM ANTI-MARIO, HIS LITTLE BROTHER! ARE YOU COLOR BLIND?!" screamed Anti-Mario.
They didn't listen.
One female pony and her husband, around their 30s came up to him.
"Hey, Prince Mario, can we have your autograph?" asked the female pony,
"Yeah, we are BIG fans of yours!" exclaimed her husband, a male pony
Anti-Mario breathes
"I hate to break it to you but you are asking the wrong person. Perhaps you are talking about my brother, who is actually Prince Mario himself. I am not him, I am Anti-Mario. Now can the rest of you back off from us and actually find him? Thank you," said Anti-Mario
All the ponies who came up to Anti-Mario and Rainbow Dash, apologized for their mistake and walked away.
A few minutes later, Anti-Mario and Rainbow have finished their food. They paid for the food in bits and left.
Anti-Mario and Rainbow then walk back to their hut which is located near Cloudsdale. The hut is temporarily their home to hide from the rest of society, so nobody dares to harm Anti-Mario especially since he is just starting to show that he can be a good guy.

At night, around 7:30 PM, around the fireplace, Lara & George chat more to get to know each other.
"So one of your children is Prince Mario? As in the destined Equestrian prince?" asked George,
"Yes, he is my son," said Lara
"Wow. I can actually see that you raised him very well, Lara," said George
Lara blushes again.
"Why, t-thank you," she said
"Aw crap. I actually have feelings for George Saki.. Holy shit. He's handsome, in spite of looking older than me," thought Lara, as she keeps blushing.
"You're welcome," said George
They stop for a minute.
"Hey, I have a little son named Kel. I raised him half his life, with his mother not in the picture. The kid is six years old but already he is as strong as me and his mother, both in combat and intellect," said George
"I see," said Lara
Lara then asks a question.
"What happened to Kel's mother by the way?" she asked
George trembles, struggling to find the right words. He could not say to Lara that Kel's mother was some ancient Greek goddess from the myths.
He thought up a fib,
"Sh-she died not long after Kel was born. She's no longer with us." said George
Lara looks at George, with sympathy.
"I'm sorry to hear that. It must have been hard for Kel not to grow up with his mother," said Lara,
"I know…" muttered George,
"Athena…you fucking bitch.." thought George, as he is shedding tears down his eyes, while gritting his teeth
"Also, I happen to be Japanese, although my parents immigrated to The United States shortly before I was born so I was born there," said George, "I also happen to be a martial artist, a professional one at that, so that's why I was good when I kicked that creepy shadow pony's ass,"
"Wow. That's cool," Lara said, while blushing again.
"Yeah, it is." said George
Suddenly, they keep chatting until 9:30 PM.
They walk back inside their tent that George set up.
"Well, we both should be getting to sleep. We have a long journey ahead of us," said George
"Agreed. Goodnight George," said Lara
"Goodnight, Lara," said George
Lara kisses George on the cheek.
The next morning, Lara and George ate breakfast and then headed right out, back on focusing on the long journey.
"Oh Celestia, I just kissed George last night…" thought Lara, "I wonder if he loves me too?"
George looks at Lara and starts to blush. Both Lara & George look at each other and start to hold each other's hands while wandering throughout the streets of Equestria.
She suddenly notices Mario the Sonic Plush, her son, with Twilight Sparkle and even Rarity. Rarity came to MTSP & Twilight from her busy schedule at her shop to go on a date.
"Hello, Mom. Who's that man with you? I wonder," said the prince
"That's George. He's a new friend of mine, and I um.." said Lara, trying to introduce George to her son, but struggling to find the right words as she keeps blushing at the sight of George.
"You like him don't you?" MTSP said, grinning, "Come on. This is exactly how I felt towards Twilight and Rarity when I met them. I know that look on your face, Mom. I wouldn't lie,"
"Come on, honey. Me and George are just friends for now, we aren't thinking about dating yet! Please, one step at a time," Lara said, starting to get annoyed, as she keeps blushing,
"Your face says it all. I know when someone truly loves another somep-somebody. You are showing basically all the symptoms. It's nothing to be ashamed about" said Twilight,
"Oh. She absolutely likes him. She really does!" said Rarity
The prince, Twilight and Rarity are clearing teasing Lara, the prince's mother, about her crush on George.
Lara sighs.
George then faces Mario the Sonic Plush.
"Hey, Mario. It's nice to meet you. I heard all about your accomplishments and I must say, they are admirable," said George
"Thanks," MTSP said with a smile, as he shakes George's hand,
"I'm Twilight Sparkle, the Princess of Friendship, and this is my friend Rarity," said Twilight, introducing herself.
"Hello. Also, me & Twilight are his girlfriends, which means we are sharing him together!" said Rarity,
"Congratulations," said George, "You are a lucky guy, my boy,"
George pats the Prince on his shoulder,
"Thanks," he said
"Well, we really should get going. You'd never know when another enemy would pop up. Have fun on your date with Twilight & Rarity. I will talk to you later," said Lara
"Come on George, let's get going."
"Alright, Lara. Let's go." said George,
"AND HAVE FUN ON YOUR ADVENTURE AND DATE WITH GEORGE!" yelled out MTSP,
Lara and George see her son and his girlfriends wave at them, as they walk past them.
"Should I be worried about Mario? He has been acting oddly giggity lately. Don't get me wrong. I like that he is much happier and more positive now, but I feel like he is just…. too happy, like there's something else going on with him," said Lara
"I wouldn't worry about it, Lars. He's like what? 19 years old and is literally a legendary prince of this entire world while dating a princess and another female? He's practically an adult, who has no problem living like he does. I am pretty sure he is able to take care of himself," said George
Lara chokes up.
"I know…it's just…I can't believe my baby boy is growing up. Just yesterday, he was going to me to cuddle him, and me telling him things are going to be okay. I don't think he would need me anymore.." said Lara, as small, tiny drops of water came down from her eyes.
George wraps his right arm around Lara's shoulder.
"Why would he not need you anymore for anything? Just because he is an adult and, in a relationship, while living somewhere on his own, doesn't mean he won't ever need you. He may even have to come take care of you when you become frail, or if he is sick, he may also still need you to come by his side too. Please. He doesn't hate nor resent you. He must have had a hard life growing up and wanting to be away from it all. I can tell, the boy truly does love you with all his heart, because you were his biggest advocate through all his life. I am sure he still cares," said George
Lara breathes, and smiles, still with red, blush marks on the sides of her face.
"Thank you…George…" said Lara, "You're right. I know he still cares and loves me. He definitely still needs his mother sometimes,"
George begins to blush.
"Aw, it's not a problem. Really," said George
"I am beginning to love Lara, I might just go with her, and have her become my girlfriend. She has proven to be way better than Athena anyways.." thought George,
Queen Chrysalis is on top of a building, with the other Changelings, laughing at Lara & George.
"Love? Bleh. Why let them be happy when we can feed off it? My children, go and FEED!" Chrysalis commanded
The Changelings nod and they fly.
Suddenly, an entire army of Changelings arrives and approaches Lara & George. Lara lets out a scream as she is being wrapped into a cocoon.
Fortunately, George prevents Lara from being kidnapped and wrapped in a cocoon by flying with his cape towards her, and he picks her up with his hands, just in time.
George lays Lara on the ground. One of the Changelings begins to change into Lara.
"Oh, you don't think I love you, George? You are wrong, I do love you!" said the imposter Lara, with an evil grin on her face "That is why we shall get married. You will forever become my slave, and I will forever control you until you perish,"
She walks up to kiss George, but George isn't fooled. He knows something is up.
The real Lara suddenly gets up. George begins to get angry.
He grabs the imposter Lara by her "shirt", and then punches her in the stomach. Then, George kicks the imposter Lara in the groin and she falls over. "Lara" is fading as a green mist reveals the identity of the imposter.
The Lara imposter is a Changeling, who had very much disguised as her to trick George, and feed off his & Lara's love.
The changeling smirks.
"Very clever, Saki. You revealed who I really am. Good job," said the Changeling,
Lara then fights off more changelings with karate, combat skills she had obtained from George.
George does the same.
Chrysalis can be heard from the rooftop.
"Drat. Metis failed. Ugh," said Chrysalis, who is referring to the Changeling that disguised as Lara, "Alright, the rest of you, finish what that failure started!" she commanded
However, by then, it was already too late. Lara and George basically knocked out all the Changelings Chrysalis sent.
Lara and George escape the scene and run off quickly before Chrysalis could even get to them.
"That was close…" said Lara,
George nods.
"I know," he said
Lara and George walk further, until they reach all the way to Canterlot.
Both of them look at each other and blush.
"Lara, after getting to know you in just two days, I am really starting to fall for you," said George
"Same here. Look, George, I have a confession to make," said Lara
"What is it?" asked George,
"I love you," said Lara
"I love you too," said George
Lara kisses George on the lips and tries to pull herself back. However, George puts his arms around her and kisses her too.
This is perhaps the beginning of a new relationship.

Back at Grogar's lair, Grogar is stroking his white goat beard once again.
Bray looks at his master, frightened by what he is going to do.
"I shall free and recruit the next villain. Bring out Deathstroke, and soon I will have my revenge. All of Equestria will feel my wrath," said Grogar,
A shadowy, black, cloud with lighting appears from his hooves.
"Let the SPELL BEGIN!" shouted Grogar.
Grogar smirks. He uses his shadowy spell like he used to summon King Sombra, Queen Chrysalis & the Changelings, to summon an evil man, one that has fought against the Teen Titans before. One that has proved himself to be worthy of being a competent threat. A mercenary and a fighter.
His name is Slade, Slade Wilson, or as he sometimes goes by, Deathstroke.

Somewhere near Jump City, Deathstroke smirks under his mask.
"Robin, all of you, soon I will have my revenge for all those times you have stopped me. I-" said Slade/Deathstroke, as he gets cut off by Grogar's shadow.
He screams.

Suddenly, Slade Wilson, better known as Deathstroke or just Slade, finds himself in Grogar's lair.
Grogar is seen, in the shadows and he looks at Slade, with a devious look on his face,
"Hello, Slade. I've heard about you," said Grogar,
"Who are you?" asked Slade/Deathstroke
Grogar quickly steps out of the shadows,
"I am Grogar. I have sent you here for a purpose."
Deathstroke scratches his back.
"And what is that purpose exactly?" he asked,
"Slade Wilson, there seems to be a much bigger threat to us. Mario the Sonic Plush, Twilight Sparkle and the others are constantly thwarting the plans
of many of us and it's up to us to stop them. Take what should be ours," said Grogar
Deathstroke rolls his eyes
"And what does this have to do with me? I don't get it," he said
"You know this dark orange fox named Kit right?" asked Grogar,
"I am afraid I don't.." said Slade/Deathstroke.
"While he used to work for a big villain, named Lord Zarkiar, he has since quit and joined the good side. He is even dating some vampire girl too," said Grogar, "Your first task is to lure Kit back to the dark side. Get him to work for you so that you can finally kill all the Teen Titans, and Mario the Sonic Plush as well. We will go from there,"
"That sounds like a deal, Grogar. I would gladly take it," said Slade/Deathstroke
"Good," said Grogar
Both Grogar and Deathstroke turn to face you (the reader). Grogar is grinning, while Deathstroke is smirking under his mask.
